A few years back, there was a very sucessful PR called Hogwarts is Still High School. It spawned an entirely new site, which is still running, but was for more mature content that was unwelcome here. But I felt the need to resurrect this beloved RP, but bring a new spin on it... And if you were part of the origional, please, please rejoin. We all need a reunion, because it has been too long.

Hogwarts Is Still Highschool...

Relationships, love, and lies. Homework, classes, and professors. It's all part of a regular highschool, is it not? But look around, isn't it all the same here at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry? I do believe it is.

We all grow, and learn many things from school. Be it how to lie to get out of a late assignment, or how to attract the pretty girl in your potions class. And thats where our story begins...

This RP takes place long after the famous trio has left the school. Years infact. Their children are still here, 6th years infact. But new faces have appeared. The Tuck twins out of Wales have been known to be the musical masterminds, and resident heartbreakers. And Jay Kelley, Quidditch fanatic spends his days on the pitch, getting ready for his next match.

You're a regular student, and a not so regular school. And you go about your not totally regular day, doing completely irregular things. Get up, go to breakfast, go to class, chase the guy or girl of your dreams... and be a teenager. After all, this is still highschool.

Any personaly created character is welcome, just attatch a profile for them. And for the cannons, a picture will do, just to see how you feel the character should look. For the non-cannon, a brief profile of their name, age, house, looks, likes, dislikes, and a picture will be enough. But feel free to go indepth.

Al arched an eyebrow at his cousin. "We also haven't gotten a whole lot of homework." He said simply. "Come now Rose. Just tell us what's going on. And where's Kyle? I figured you two would be spending the day together again." He asked. The pair had been spending a lot of time with each other, and frankly, he thought it could only be a good thing for his shy cousin to get out into the dating game. And who better to bring her out, then a Tuck. And the less idiotic one at that.

Matt lay down his guitar after a while and looked at his watch. "We're totally late for class." He said to his brother, grabbing his bookbag from the floor. He made his way to History of Magic. He saw Meg, Jay and Alyss sitting in the usual sopt and took a seat beside Jay. He looked a little annoyed at something. Arching an eyebrow, Matt took out his book and parchment, pretending he'd been there the whole time.

Kyle jogged down the hall after his brother, his own bookbag over his shoulder. He too walked into the classroom and sat down near the back, just behind Meg. "What'd we miss?" He asked quietly, pulling out his own books. He knew Professor Jacobsen wasn't stupid enough to think that the twins were there the whole time. But he hoped she'd be plesant enough not to punish them.

"Well then, you should get started on it." Rose suggested. Then Al mentioned Kyle. "Why would I be with Kyle?" Rose asked. Her cousins were ridiculous. And she was getting really tired of it.

Al arched an eyebrow again. "I've got mine done." He said with a smile. "And I just assumed you'd be spending the day with him again, because you have been every day since we got here. Somewhat like our blonde cousin and her... whatever he is." He said, not even looking at Victorie. Needless to say, Rose seemed a little touchy on the subject of Kyle. Perhaps something had happened, and thats why she was in such a foul mood. He wasn't going to push it too hard, in fear of geting hexed to next week.

Kyle cringed. That poor common room, and it's unsuspecting inhabitance had no idea what was coming to them. A hex from Meg was a fate worse then death. He'd been on the wrong end of the wand once or twice, after helping Matt pull a prank or two. It wasn't fun. "Lovely." He said sarcastically, flipping to the pages about the Salem Witch trials.

Matt looked over his shoulder at Meg. "What'd they do now?" He asked, hearing Meg. He knew very well it didn't take a whole lot to make her want to curse the bejesus out of someone.

Victoire ignored Al's comment, beginning, "I had just come down to return an overdue book; lucky that Madam Pince didn't slap me with a detention, or worse." She took a look over her shoulder at the huffy librarian, who threw her a rather suspicious glance. It was all part of her act, letting no one get wise to the fact that she was here to slowly persuade Rose to attend the ball. "Really, love, you can tell us what happened. Maybe we'll surprise you and we won't be judgemental," She threw a hidden, scathing glare at Al before continuing, "for once." She made an effort to smile at Rose, prompting her to pull down her guard and have a talk.

Meg smirked as all the boys cringed with thoughts of her hexing. Who else in all of Hogwarts could do that? No one. And that was one of the things she prided herself in. She nodded as Aly said she'd give her a list tonight. She really should have done that in the first place. Stupid responsibility. Why did her best friend have to be a prefect?

"I am not upset. Nothing happened. I'm just here doing my homework because I need to do my homework. I'd actually like to get out of Hogwarts with better grades than barely passing." Rose said looking between the two of them.

Al sat back a little. "Ok miss snappy pants. No need to bite our heads off. We're just concerned, is all. You looked a mite upset when I came in, so I thought I should see what was wrong. I guess that was apparently a bad idea." He said, crossing his arms over his chest. He still wasn't about to let up on her. Earlier, Kyle had passed him in the halls, with much the same expression on his face. So something had to have happened with the two. And he was going to get to the bottom of it.

Victoire sighed, leaning back as she pulled her arms across her chest. "I agree." Even though Al and herself weren't on the best of terms, he spoke the truth and Victoire wasn't going to deny it. "Look, things might be rough at the moment. But whatever happened, whether or not it involved Kyle, is worth talking about. Do you recall the countless times I poured my heart out to you two, and how much better I felt about whatever situation I was in because I had the help of my family?" She paused, closing her eyes for a moment before inhaling and exhaling rather slowly and deeply. "I know neither of you forget what happened with Teddy; I definitely don't. But because of the advice and support of both of you, I was able to get through it." Victoire stopped, forcing herself to shut up. She knew that other methods, such as going away to her grandparents and breaking rules in France during the summer, had also helped her out, but she wasn't about to reveal that bit at the moment.

Al nodded, agreeing with Victorie. "She's right you know." He said, even though he hated to admit it. He remembered the times when Vic had been so upset with something Teddy had one, that she could hardly get her words out through her tears. But after hours of sitting in one of their bedrooms, listening to her problems, and trying to calm her down, it was clear that the blonde had felt relieved. And maybe if Rose would just try the same, she'd also feel better, and be less difficult. "I won't force you to talk, but really. Just try it." He sat back in his chair and smiled a little at the redhead. "Also, you need to cheer up soon. The Yule ball is coming up, and you've got to go. Our parents would kill you if you didn't attend. And didn't Aunt Hermione buy you a new dress for it? It'd be a shame for you not to wear it."

"You two are horrible, you know? Nothing happened. Really. He just said he'd had fun the past couple days. I said that I did too." Rose said. "I am NOT up here because I'm upset. I'm here because I have homework to do." So maybe that wasn't all he said. But she wasn't upset at anything. That part was true. And that was the part that they were concerned with.

Victoire lifted her gaze from the table briefly to look at Al, shock written all over her face. Had he actually agreed with her statement? Maybe he had done it for the same reason that Victoire had done it for him: for Rose's sake. She smiled inwardly at his mention of the upcoming Yule Ball. Had fate decided to work her way, for once? But her small smile faltered as Rose snapped back. She seemed fed up with the two of them. Sighing, she began, "Okay, I'm sorry. Go ahead and do your coursework. But if you ever need us, we're here, alright?" She stood, but beforehand she gave Al a look as if signaling him to follow her out of the danger zone. Victoire wanted to talk to him in private, especially away from Rose.

Al saw Victorie's look and nodded. "Alright, well, have fun with that. And don't work too hard." He said, following Victorie off. He took her down a deserted row of books, and leaned against the back wall. "What?" He asked crossly, folding his arms over his chest and looking her in the eyes.

OOC: I totally made a Sims 3 Rose/Vic family, and a Kyle/Matt family and now I'm trying to get them together. It's actually going EXACTLY like this and I didn't even try it! Matt/Vic are already into each other, and Rose/Kyle like each other but won't do anything. It's hillarious.

Victoire sighed, realizing that this had possibly been a bad idea. "Could you be civil, for once?" She muttered darkly before beginning once more, "I wanted to talk about Rose. Something happened between her and Kyle earlier; I just know it. Before coming here, I saw Kyle and he looked pretty low as well. I'm worried about them... I'm worried about her." She hunched her shoulders forward as she crossed her arms over her chest, sighing once more. "I'm positive that unless they reconcile, they'll both be as depressed as Moaning Myrtle for quite a long while, possibly for the rest of the school year. I want your help in trying to create a... a reunion, I guess you could call it."

Al arched an eyebrow. "How do you know their mad at each other? For all you know, their just difficult people to please." He said simply, looking over his shoulder for incoming students. Thankfully, as the day was sunny and warm, there were very few students lurking around the library. Save the nerds, and Rose. And well, them. He sighed. "What do you and Matt have planned. Because I know if it wasn't for him, you wouldn't care at all about Kyle feels." He asked, sliding down the wall, and sitting on the floor. He could tell this may end up being one of Victorie's long, scheming talks that usually took hours and hours. He crossed his legs indian style and leaned his back against the wall again, waiting for her responce.

"I can just tell. Sorry if you have the emotional range of a teaspoon," Victoire answered rather sharply. However, she could tell that by the way that he sat, Al was ready to listen. If he would at least do that, then Victoire would attempt to put up with his degrading commentary. "Well," She began, "We were thinking that the prime time for an intervention would be during the Yule Ball. Lucky that you brought that up when talking to her," She laughed lightly, remembering their conversation at the table not so long ago. "Everyone will be mingling, so it'll be easier for them to run into each other. We don't have an exact plan yet, so that's all for now... Would you like to take part, or are you just going to watch from the sidelines?" She arched an eyebrow, almost able to predict his negative answer.

Al heaved a sigh. Emotional range of a teaspoon my ****. He thought, giving her a pointed look. "Ok, so what? Just make sure she gets there and hope for the best? Vic, look. We're medling in things better left alone. If she dosen't want to be with him, as much as I'd like to see it happen, maybe we should just let it be. She's clearly not interested. See how defensive she got when we mentioned him? How do you think she'll reach when we more or less shove her into his arms?" He said, arching an eyebrow. "Do you really want to be on the receiving end of her wand? I don't."

Victoire bit her lip, seeing that he had a point. "I know. It's just, have you ever seen Rose that happy before? When they hang out together, it's like you're watching two kids playing together in the sandbox: both are smiling and laughing, both are hapy to be with each other. Rose adores her studies, but I think she secretly adores Kyle a bit more." She looked out of the window, averting Al's piercing gaze. She knew that he was partially right, but wasn't Victoire right as well? Neither of them could win.

"I see your point." He said slowly, afriad to admit it. "I've seen the way she looks at him. At the way he looks at her is something out of a fairytale... It's like he dosen't see anybody else. And that's actually really sweet, coming from a Slytherine." He sighed, and ran his hands down his face. "I want her happy... But if she's happier with her books then she is with him, he'll have to suck it up and get over it. I'm sure he could have his pick of any girl in the school. Even you, if he wanted. And Rose..." He shook his head, not really sure how to word his thoughts. "Something tells me she isn't even interested in dating. I mean, have you ever heard her talk about a boy? She dosen't even talk about Kyle."

The tension that had built up in Victoire slowly seemed to leave her as Al began to calm down. "You're right. If Rose isn't ready, then Kyle has millions of other girls, groupies, whatever he'd like to steal his attention." She sighed once again, "But I know who he wants. And I'm pretty sure that Rose feels the same. But you know her, she's as innocent as a lamb. Even if Kyle made a move, she wouldn't know what to do and would make him feel like an idiot. Maybe that's exactly what happened earlier today." She bit her lip, checking over her shoulder to make sure that no one was eavesdropping.

Al arched an eyebrow. "Is there something you're not telling me?" He asked. The way she was talking about Kyle, it seemed like she had some insider information she was yet to share. And whatever it was, he wanted to know. "I'm not going to help you unless you tell me everything." He looked her dead in the eyes, daring her to lie. Because if she did, he'd know.

Victoire had to smile at his audacity; if not that, she possibly would have become even slightly more irritated. "Alright, calm down," She shook her head, still smiling as she began, "Kyle said that he told Rose how he felt. And she replied with a simple thanks. That's all there was to it. Now, it seems like neither want to see the other." She looked at him sideways, wondering if her believed her. "Good enough, Al? Does that give you reason enough to want to get in on the plan?" She leaned against a bookshelf, waiting for his answer.

Al rolled his eyes. "I figured as much." He said through a sigh. "Yeah, I'll help you. Just let me know what you need me to do, and I'll do it." He looked over at his blonde cousin, and then peeked down the row of books at Rose, who saw working away. She did look a little upset, but he completely understood how Kyle was feeling. "And honestly, I see why he's mad. Put all that work into getting her to talk to him. Then after things start to look like their going his way, he tells her, and gets rejected. Any guy who's the least bit sensitive would be upset."

"I let you know when we figure it out," Victoire nodded, her gaze following his as she peered at Rose down the way a bit. She was so sweet and innocent, but just like many smart, studious girls, she needed help when it came to the opposite gender. It was almost like how Victoire needed Rose's help with school, a topic that unfortunately wasn't on the list of Victoire's talents. "But..." She began, turning back to Al, "Thanks. I know this might not be easy for you, having to work with Matt on this, but thank you."

"I'm not working with Matt. I'm not even working for you. I'm just trying to help my cousin cheer up." He said, standing and dusting off his jeans. "And don't think that there's going to be any of me sitting around and chatting with the pair of you. I still hate your boyfriend, because he's still a tool."
