On Christmas holidays, Helena decided to head back to her grandparents neighborhood in Bulgaria, only to find that they had perished a few weeks before in a car accident.

But they left her their house and everything in it. So now, she's working on fixing up the place on her own, cleaning and renovating the old mostly.

The two-story Victorian is high-end, made with the finest cut wood, polished to perfection. It's quite large - a grand entry way, parlor, library, kitchen, and dining room on the first floor and five bedrooms and two bathrooms on the second - but she's loving having her own place.

Helena laughed as she flipped each of the two sandwiches onto its own separate plate and leaned on the counter, watching Chris with a small shrug. Close enough, she said, sticking her tongue out as she walked over to him and wrapped her arms around him with a smirk. Ahhh how much better that was.

"I guess it was close enough." Chris said rolling his eyes playfully. He stopped stirring the soup. But not soon after did he feel Lena's arms around him. Soooo much better! He smiled wide and turned around. He put his arms around her as well buuuut he kind of also picked her up. "Hello shorty." He said teasing her as he leaned closer to her and kissed her lips.

Helena smiled as Chris turned in her arms, but she chuckled as he picked her up. About to reply to his words, she was cut off as Chris kissed her. Hmmmm.... well, it was safe to say that she was perfectly fine with him silencing her like that. She kissed him back, moving her arms around his neck instead of around his waist and pulling herself up closer to him.

Chris smiled feeling Lena kiss him back and as she pulled herself closer to him. He just held her tight. He didn't pull out of the kiss as he turned and pretty much just sat her down the counter. He kissed her back a bit more fierce now. Though after a little bit of time he pulled back. "I love you Helena." He said as he leaned his forehead against her's.

Helena smiled slightly as he sat her down on the counter, still kissing him back of course. Then she felt Chris kiss her a bit more fiercely and, though she was taken by surprise, she kissed him back as much. When he finally pulled back, Lena's eyes reopened and she couldn't take them off of Chris's. She felt her stomach flutter at his words and she smiled a small smile as she felt his forehead against hers. I love you too, she said quietly.

"I had a feeling you did." Chris said smiling wide as he kissed her cheek. "I kind of like it that I came over here today instead of you coming to my house. We would have had no alone time. But the only problem is I have to leave soon. I have to make sure everything is ready for me leaving. So the last few days I'm home I can be with my family." He said with a small sigh. He didn't want to go! It was any fairrrrrrrrr!

Lena's eyes finally dropped as Chris kissed her lightly on the cheek. She sighed and nodded, sliding off the counter. You at least have to finish your lunch before you leave, she said with a small smile as she pulled two bowls down from the cupboard and ladled a good bit of soup into both of them; she set them on the table with the sandwiches. All I have to drink is tea, she said apologetically as she poured them each a glass of her favorite sweet tea.

Chris watched Lena slide off the counter and back onto the floor once more. "Alright 'mum'." He said teasing her. "Of course babe I wasn't going to leave with out eating. That would be rude duh!" He said rolling his eyes playfully. "Ahhh it's okay." He said smiling. He then pulled her chair out for her. "My lady." He said gesturing to the chair.

Helena chuckled at his words and set the two glasses on the table as well. She smiled as he rolled his eyes and then rolled her own as he pulled out her chairs. You just remember that 'my' part when you're gone, she muttered with a small smile tugging at her lips. And thank you, kind sir, she added with a wink as she took a sip of her tea.

"Okay now why that eye roll? I'm just trying to be a good boyfriend over here." Chris said playfully. "I promise that will never ever ever once leave my mind Lena." He said smiling back to her. "You are very welcome beautiful." He said sitting in his own chair as he too took a sip of his tea.

Helena giggled slightly. I wasn't rolling my eyes because of that, she said with a slight laugh. It was because I knew you weren't leaving right now since you just agreed to have lunch ten minutes ago. Boys, she thought with a mental chuckle. Ah, how she loved them. She smiled at his words and took a few bites of her scrumptious soup. Mmmmmhmm!

"I never said I was going to leave before lunch. I just said I had to leave soon not yet. There is a different." Chris said winking. He then took a bite of the soup. "Oh my God. Where did you learn to cook like this?" He asked taking few more bites.

Helena chuckled at his reaction and took a few more bites herself before answering.... mmmm.... he was right - it was delicious. My one nanny growing up - anytime I'd get bored I'd go help out in the kitchen so i picked a few things up. She shrugged with a simple smile and took a bite of her grilled cheese.

Righhhhht Chris forget that Lena had nannies growing up. Sighhhh guess not every kid was as lucky as he was to have his parents around while he was growing up. "Oh that's pretty cool I guess. I mean at least you got to learn how to cook really well....." He trailed off. Did he just imply is was nice to have a nanny? Crapppp that's not what he meant. He just turned back to his soup and took a few more bites.

Helena cracked a smile at his words; she knew how they sounded and that that wasn't how Chris intended them to sound at all. She chuckled. Yes, cooking helps when you live on your own - speaking of which, I do hope someone from your band knows how, she added as an afterthought with a grin before she took another bite from her sandwich.

Chris looked up as Lena mentioned somebody being able to cook in his band. "Ahhhh." He thought aboutthat for a second. Well he sure couldn't! Then there was Danny and Mike who were helpless. Though Danny might be able toooo. He doubted that. Then Maggie....She might be able to but how would he know??? "I would have to say that's a no. See this is why I need you to come next summer!" He said laughing. "I'm sure we will figure something out though." He said shrugging taking another sip of his tea.

Helena laughed at his words and nodded. See, now that I know you need me, I'll definitely have to come no matter what, she said with another small chuckle as she shook her head and dipped her grilled cheese into her soup. Yes, well, as there's a McDonalds every block in New York, I don't think you'll go hungry, she added with a grin.

He then took a bit of his own sandwhich. "Yes I'm sure I won't. The only problem with eating at McDonalds a lot is I will than probably become fat." He said with a small chuckle.

Helena smiled at this; that was why she loved Chris as much as he did. He was the sweetest person she'd ever met and she knew that it wasn't just talk. He was always sincere. You won't get fat, she said with a laugh. With a metabolism like yours? Hogwarts food is no health-trip, you know, she added with a chuckle.

"I might." Chris told Lena. "Okay sure I have a fast metabolism. But that can slow down and then I will be fat." He said laughing. "Okay yeah maybe Hogwarts food isn't the healthest either. But it's better than McDonalds. Would you still love me if I become fat?" He asked trying to keep a straight face. It didn't work so well for him. He broke out laughing. "I promise that's not going to happen." He said smiling to Lena.

Helena's eyes widened but then she grinned as Chris laughed. I know it's not, but I would love you no matter what. I will love you no matter what, she promised with a smile as she took a sip of tea. Lena smiled once more as she sat the glass back on the table. Maybe next time you can help me make the soup, she said with a wink.

Chris just smiled. "I will always love you too not matter what." He said taking Helena's hand and leaned in slightly to give her a quick kiss on the lips. He pulled back still smiling at her. "Oh yeah maybe I can." He said returning her wink. "Maybe when I come for Christmas, alright?" He said. He then took another bit of the very yummy soup.

Lena's smile widened slightly as Chris repeated her words as his own and kissed her briefly. She held tight to his hand even as he pulled back from the kiss. She then chuckled at his statement. Deal, she said with a small grin as he took another bite of the soup; she was glad he was enjoying it. On one condition, though, she added with a small smile.

Chris felt Lena still holding his hand as he took a sip from his glass. He heard her comment and placed the glass back on the table. He looked at Helena once more. "Hmmm. And what can this one condition be darling?" He asked raising an eyebrow as he took a bite from his sandwhich.

Simple, Helena said with a smile as he raised his eyebrow. We make the soup, then have our annual snow war so that the soup is all ready and hot to eat when we come in, she explained with a grin before finally letting his hand go to finish up the last little bit of soup in her bowl.
