Torin didn't know what to say to Tammy, so he just nodded. He was way too nervous to say anything. So he just waited for his daughter to walk down the aisle.

Tammy was a little surprised when she felt herself being nudged forward. So with that, she made her way towards the opening of the tent.

She started tossing flowers everywhere as she walked towards her daddy. She was happy to see him again. She had missed him because she hadn't seen him for a while. Or at least a while as far as a 4 year old was concerned.

Brody smiled as she watched her baby girl go walking down the aisle, at least Reese had gotten the idea to get the girl down there, because then the wedding could start.
Wait...that meant it would be her turn to walk down the aisle next. Eeep. Nervous. "Daddy..." She whispered, looking up at him, and suddenly holding his hand. "I'm nervous." Very nervous. She needed a daddy hug!

Buttt Fyo wanted to be silly! He didn't get to be silly often, anymore. It was all business stuff, and calculations, and meeting the rich kind of people. It got tiring sometimes, honestly -- and if he could not have some fun on his best friend's wedding day, when would he?

"He doesn't have much of a choice, does he?" Fyo asked, when Tammy queried if Torin was okay. Really, you know. Torin had decided to take the plunge, and that was it.

Damien laid a gentle hand on Brody's shoulder, for a moment or half. "It will be okay," he told her, in a rather encouraging voice. The only reason he was here - and not asking Brody to go back home, with him, and forget that Torin Kane - was because he cared for her happiness. If his daughter wanted Torin, Torin she would have - because a Summers always got what he, or she, wanted.

"Let's go?" he asked her, ready to lead her up there. Not until she said he should, though. Because the longer she was his little girl - just his little girl, mark you - the better.

Why, yes.

Brody smiled. If there was anyone she could trust in this entire world it was her father, and she knew that so much. She loved her father, and knew he only wanted her to be happy, which was why he was accepting her wanting to marry Torin. She knew, that deep down he knew that this was going to make her happy, and for that she was grateful. Her father was amazing. "I know." She knew everything would be okay, because she knew as soon as she saw Torin, that she wouldn't be nervous, because she loved him so much.

She nodded at what her father said, with a big smile. She was ready, more than everything. "I am." She smiled, glancing back at Reese to make sure that she followed them. "I love you Daddy...always will." She smiled, hugging him once more. Then she turned towards the aisle. "Lets go.

Damien's mouth broke into a grin of sorts, when Brody spoke those two, little words - 'I know,' that is. Such a confident, young lady, was she not? But, then again, she was a Summers; and, for a Summers, confidence was a way of life. You learned to carry yourself with pride, hold your head up high - that was the way you were raised to live.

"I love you too, darling," he said, as he gently led her away, from where they stood. Well, this was it -- the big moment, ready to approach. Torin Kane would have his daughter, now. As a wife. Damien had never thought that someone would whisk Brody away, like this. But, that said, he had not wanted to. How could he? Now, was the moment, though -- and if Brody was happy, that was enough for him, really.

Now Tammy was walking down the aisle. And she looked so beautiful. He had seen her only a bit before, but now... he was so proud of her. It took a lot for him not to run over to her and hug her. But somehow he managed.

And then Brody started to walk down the aisle after his daughter. And she looked more beautiful than he had ever seen her and she was already the most beautiful woman in the world to him.

Tammy smiled softly at Fyo, and grabbed his hand, looking over her shoulder to see TigerTot walk down the aisle, and Brody start. Naturally, her eyes filled up. That was her little bubba walking down the aisle -metaphorically speaking. And here were her two best friends about to get married, almost straight into her own family. Like they had almost been, but this wedding, well it made it official. Torin was almost blood related, and Brody was now marrying him. Not that she hadn't always acted like they were married, we're speaking Summer 2071

With her free hand, Tammy dabbed at her eyes, and leant her head against Fyo's arm.

Brody smiled as she glanced down the aisle, watching her baby girl through the flowers. Oh. Tamzin was so beautiful, really her little girl, and she loved the baby so much. "Daddy...she's so beautiful." She adored her little girl, and she just sort of homed that maybe her father would agree her baby was beautiful, she was her daughter after all.

Brody smiled, as she looked up at her father. Oh he was amazing, especially because he hadn't stopped giving her away yet, she really did have a great father. She tucked her arm into his, as they walked slowly down the aisle. Eep. There was Torin. She smiled at him. He looked amazing, and she was so happy. "Daddy....be nice to him." She whispered, because she could totally see him being mean.

Miles sat near the front off to the side, Bothari looming near the wall. It was sad really that he'd figured out where he was. So much for being with Fia by himself for a change. Looking his best in his expensive suit perfectly colour coordinated with his family's colours but not nearly as constraining or gawdy he gripped Fia's hand. It had been a few years since his own wedding and here he was at his sister in-law's and one of his closest friends. Smiling he turned his head to look down the aisle to see Brody. She looked gorgeous. He was glad that his presence there hadn't been a big hassle for everyone...and for that he was grateful his father still had his health. Lord only knew what COUNT Vorkosigan as a guest here would do. But if there was one thing he was proud of...it was these two. He entwined his fingers in Fia's as he watched with a constant smirk on his face. Happily ever after.

Fyo felt Tammy lean her head against him, and would have hugged her, if he could -- of course, he could not, not in the position he was in, right now. Instead, he focused his attention ahead, and saw Brody walk up. She looked gorgeous, no doubt about that - like a pretty Queen. Yeah, there was a reason her nickname was Queenie.

"They'll make an awesome couple, won't they?" he asked Tammy, in quite a low voice, as he watched little Tammy.

Rawwrr.

Damien turned to look at his grand-daughter, and gave a little nod of his head. He could not disagree that Tammy was a gorgeous, little thing - then again, she did have his daughter's genes. "She is," he agreed. Though he still wished, really wished, that Brody had waited until she was married, before having a kid. Ah, well.

"I am nice, darling," he told Brody, with half a grin, but it faded, when he turned to look at Torin. Not that he had a problem with Brody's soon-to-be-husband -- but Elise, she certainly did. More than him, at any rate. Damien gave Torin something of a nod. Nobody expected him to do more, right? He didn't want Elise killing him.

-- and no, he was NOT scared of his wife.

He just loved her a lot.

Eeep. Brody was so close to him now, and she wasn't feeling nervous anymore. She glanced at her Father, giving her a big grin. She was going to be married in a matter of minutes, and then she was going to have a fantastic life.
"I love you daddy." She smirked, as he mentioned that he was being nice. Of course he was. He hadn't said anything bad to Torin about the marriage.

And now they were at the front of the tent, and she would be Torin's wife soon. "Thank you Daddy." She gave him a hug, before turning to Torin. Time for the ceremony.

This was so exciting. Torin had Tammy and Brody beside him now and he wasn't feeling nervous anymore. He was just excited. The ceremony was about to start and he would be married in a few minutes.

He was so happy.

He reached out and took her hand in his.

Well, here they were. And it was time. Most of the wedding guests had already quieted down to respectful, anticipatory silence, but Frederick clapped his hands a few times anyway for the benefit of those who hadn't paid attention.

Besides, it was always good to provide an easy-to-follow signal.

He stretched out his arms wide and smiled widely at the two young people in front of him. "Welcome," his sonorous bass voice intoned, audible to everyone, "to the wedding of Brody Summers and Torin Kane." He inclined his head in the direction of each half of the nervous-looking couple.

Damien gave her half a nod. "I love you, too." He almost said she did not need to thank him - not really - but then she had given him a hug, and he hugged her back, a bit. He let her go, after a second or two, so that she could turn towards Torin.

The moment, was it, now?
