GroundsHave a case of cabin castle fever? Best to take a break from all the stone corridors and go hang out by the lake, or explore the expansive school grounds. Don't forgive to send your regards to Bartholomew Henry!
A little way off the path between the castle and the lake stand several half-sphere outdoor shelters, known as the domes. Made from a sturdy and clear, charmed material that keeps the temperature inside relatively comfortable, and the air fresh, the main purpose of the domes is a location to hang out, alone or with a few friends. They also serve as impromptu shelters during sudden downpours, cool relief from the summer heat, or a place to warm benumbed fingers and toes during bitingly cold winters. Each is accessible by a simple door made of the same material. No need to reserve them - just make sure no one is already there before entering!
The domes are near to each other, but not clustered too close together. They are completely transparent; those outside can see in, and those inside can see out. Occupied domes will light up - though the light has no obvious source - useful and downright cosy on overcast or gloomy days. The groundskeeper, and any staff member looking out of the windows on this side of the castle, will be able to see the domes if they're lit up after dark, so unless you want to light the 'hey, look at me, I'm out after curfew' beacon, best not to come this way after hours. Professor Hawkins would rather not have to take House Points from rulebreakers (but she will).
Each dome contains five comfortable chairs, and can comfortably hold as many students, maybe a couple more if you don't mind a tight squeeze. Try to refrain from seeing how many students can fit inside one of these things at once. Getting a score of kids hopelessly stuck will not have a good outcome for anyone, but it's up to you if you want to test that theory out for yourself.

Start of term had come and gone and his final year was now in full swing. This was the year that he needed to keep his head on straight. The year that many decisions were going to be made. Like for starters, were was he headed in life. Many months had been spent considering all of his options and even longer had been spent working alongside the one man that could get him there. Unfortunately Professor Khanna wasn't here this year but thankfully all of his training and hard work had been related to the new DADA Professor. Steady training would continue. Which was good for him, the more he focused on that, the less time he had to sit and think about other things.
There was just one issue with that fact, every now and again Feliks needed a break. A few moments to do absolutely nothing at all. To sit exactly where he was right now in an oversized way too comfortable chair inside the domes. As relaxing as this spot was, it was also overly easy for ones thoughts to get the better of them. This is what was taking place, feelings that weren't meant to take place had crept up on him over time leaving him to deal with it all in silence. And as most know, silence had a way of eating at you and making you feel like you were going insane. So with much deliberation and against his own better judgement, it was time for him to speak up. Maybe, just maybe, things would turn out for the better. One could hope right? Because in his head... This was going to be terrible.

Vi had only just completed one of his many practise sessions on the Quidditch pitch and had decided to take a walk instead of heading back to the Castle. There was no reason in particular for the walk other than it was an excellent day out. And with the weather in Scotland, one might as well enjoy these sunshiney days as the muggy ones would arrive soon enough.
The walk also gave him an opportunity to reflect on his Quidditch journey so far. Needless to say it had been a productive one, and he knew he would be onto even better things soon. And yes, he already missed his former U-17 team as a playing unit. On the bright side, he was in the company of a few of those ex teammates rather often here at Hogwarts.
Vi had only just shifted his broomstick to his shoulder when he lazily sent his gaze in the direction of the domes. He immediately recognised one of the figures there. Said figure was the reason he went off happily in that direction. As he came within Fel’s vicinity, he observed that his friend seemed to be lost in thought. Er… should he disturb him? Vi hesitated a moment then waved his free hand in front of Fel’s face.

Normally Fel would pride himself in how attentive he was with his own surroundings. Especially with the his training and studying towards the career he had finally decided to try to work towards. He had been working hard on focusing on not only what was in front of him but also on things that couldn't be seen or heard immediately. However, right then his mind was clearly very much elsewhere and all but his current thoughts had been forgotten.
Any and all sounds of the dome door opening and shutting, or the footsteps coming his way were lost upon him. Fel didn't notice a thing until that hand was waved in front of his face. Even then it took several seconds for his head to snap upwards meeting the gaze of his friend, a completely startled look in his dark eyes. "Vi, hey... When-when did you get here?"... He didn't think it was too long ago but honestly he had no clue. His attention was now fixed on Viano and nothing more, his mind trying it's hardest to push aside the thoughts he had been having only moments earlier.

It was how Vi knew that something was off with Fel: the Slytherin usually had an excellent awareness of his surroundings. He always suspected that Professor Khanna had something to do with that since they were Fel’s mentor. That and the fact that his friend actually wanted to go into the Defensive field so it made sense to be extra aware of one’s surroundings. So it was why Viano was extremely concerned. And he had every right to be; Fel was one of his closest friends.
“Literally a short while ago,’’ he answered as he braced his broomstick against the back of Fel’s seat. Vi then lowered himself to the ground, feeling that he would be more comfortable there. He sat cross-legged and peered up with concern at the familiar face. “You okay? You seem… I dunno… lost.”
