Normally Fel would pride himself in how attentive he was with his own surroundings. Especially with the his training and studying towards the career he had finally decided to try to work towards. He had been working hard on focusing on not only what was in front of him but also on things that couldn't be seen or heard immediately. However, right then his mind was clearly very much elsewhere and all but his current thoughts had been forgotten.
Any and all sounds of the dome door opening and shutting, or the footsteps coming his way were lost upon him. Fel didn't notice a thing until that hand was waved in front of his face. Even then it took several seconds for his head to snap upwards meeting the gaze of his friend, a completely startled look in his dark eyes. "Vi, hey... When-when did you get here?"... He didn't think it was too long ago but honestly he had no clue. His attention was now fixed on Viano and nothing more, his mind trying it's hardest to push aside the thoughts he had been having only moments earlier.
