However, right then his mind was clearly very much elsewhere and all but his current thoughts had been forgotten.
Any and all sounds of the dome door opening and shutting, or the footsteps coming his way were lost upon him. Fel didn't notice a thing until that hand was waved in front of his face. Even then it took several seconds for his head to snap upwards meeting the gaze of his friend, a completely startled look in his dark eyes. "Vi, hey... When-when did you get here?"... He didn't think it was too long ago but honestly he had no clue. His attention was now fixed on Viano and nothing more, his mind trying it's hardest to push aside the thoughts he had been having only moments earlier.
It was how Vi knew that something was off with Fel: the Slytherin usually had an excellent awareness of his surroundings. He always suspected that Professor Khanna had something to do with that since they were Fel’s mentor. That and the fact that his friend actually wanted to go into the Defensive field so it made sense to be extra aware of one’s surroundings. So it was why Viano was extremely concerned. And he had every right to be; Fel was one of his closest friends. “Literally a short while ago,’’ he answered as he braced his broomstick against the back of Fel’s seat. Vi then lowered himself to the ground, feeling that he would be more comfortable there. He sat cross-legged and peered up with concern at the familiar face. “You okay? You seem… I dunno… lost.” |
