Making their way around the street festival Saxon dragged Colin's hand along with her. She wanted to do something a little different, rather than just standing in eating, as she had first suggested to Colin. This time she wanted to do something really fun! It was a festival after all and they had to have some sort of games and the such.

Coming upon a color table Saxon stopped at the sight to give it a nice long look. Peering over she saw that it looked like a similar muggle game that she always lost. But of course, being in the magical world this had to have some sort of twist to it. "Colin- this one! Let's try our luck here!" It was a very simple, yet hard game. But if won, she knew she'd be thrilled on the win.

Bart was so excited he was at the fair it was probably his final night in London before he went back to Australia with his dad so getting to be at the fair with Luc and Brynny. They had been walking around.. What to do.. what to do.. He wanted to ride that Hyppogriff at some point, but he knew Brynny was giving him eyes about it. She really need to get more adventures. He enjoyed his best friend but she worried to much. Now Luc.. Luc was super awesome and cool and he knew Luc would ride it. Probably wouldn't fall off either. That was awesome just to even think about. Since his mother yet again went with that Charely over to the Hogwarts area Bart was happy that Luc was allowed to take Brynny and him somewhere else.

Bart spotted some games and took off over to them, "Hey Luc think you could do this one? I bet I can.. " He went over to the man that was running the station. Looking back at Brynn he smiled, "You going to try this one?" He turned back to the game he so could do this one. No problem it looked easy. "Come on guys hurry up.. Let's play some games before mum tries to pull us away."

Okay, since when were they playing follow the leader? Oh, right as soon as they started that adventure in Diagon Alley. The three-year old leapling, Luc had an actual partner-in-crime now (outside of school) and EVERYONE knew that you never break a duo up. See what happened with Wade and Luc long time ago? Well, Luc has moved on now thank you very much and their duo was becoming a trio with Brynn. Anyways, now they were at some fishy place. No really, there was fish bowls that Luc kept eyeing. Hey Luc think you could do this one? I bet I can..

"Oh. yeah, I can.. "Don't just stare at the bowls Luc, say something! "Show us what you got then, Bart." Now what Luc wasn't going to share was him knowing along with EVERYONE that there always was some pressure going first, but he wasn't going to give that away. No, Luc tried to look interested as he stood by Brynn. "Let's not spend too much money here, we got to get some candy too.. oh, and curly fries!" What? He knew what he wanted. Hehe.

This festival thing seemed like fun, and Jake was excited for it. Possibly more excited than he would normally be for this kind of thing just because he had Anya on his arm. She made everything better. As cheesy as that sounded.

As they made their way through the festival, Jake made a mental note of where the food was, because food, and continued until he saw a sign for a PLIMPY BOWL TOSS. Good, old fashioned carnival games. He could win Anya a prize. Wasn't that a cheesy boyfriend-type thing to do? Win your date a prize?

"Come on," he said, a grin on his face and he led her over to the stand. He smiled at the guy that was running it. He'd like to play, please.

Colin laughed as Saxon dragged him along. "I'm coming. Merlin. You don't need to tear off my arm." Especially if they were playing carnival games.

He grinned slowly seeing the game. He was brilliant at carnival games. This would be fun. "Yeah. Sure." he said getting his money bag later. "You want to go first?"

Anya happily hand one armed looped through Jake's with her hand resting on his upper arm. Why? Because clingy girlfriend was clingy. Plus it felt cute to her to be all old timey stroll like with him.

She smiled when he stopped at a booth.

Was he going to win her something?! Because. D'aww. Could she be grabby hands now? Was that okay?

Airey loved summer. The summer solstice. The super moon. Meteor showers....

Oh, AND he had just taken a trip to a muggle dentist for a new pair of fake front teeth since Erik had punched his out towards the end of last term. It had been AMAZING! He had learned SO much. First was that muggles were very patient people because just the average teeth cleaning took forever and the scraping sound of the metal appliance on ones' teeth was enough to make ones' skin crawl right off the bone. Not to mention that the slow drill really WAS slow. Not like fast food - which wasn't fast at all, for any witches or wizards who were curious. Sort of just sat there on the table and didn't move.

So, here he was, with a pair of SPARKLING new WHITE teeth just BEAMING with anticipation at all the possibilities that the new school term and SUMMER would bring.

OHLOOKPRIZES!

With the excitement of a first year, Airey manly ran his way up to the stand and leaned over to look at all the swimming creatures in their bowls. Now...if he threw the ball at an angle perpendicular to the table....compensated for the wind and....

Airey looked rather ridiculous, for anyone watching. He was sort of hunched over, tongue sticking out the corner of his mouth, and squuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuinting at the bowl with a red plimpy swimming around in it.

"Come to astronomizzle...."

Saxon sure hoped Colin didn't mind getting dragged along. This is usually how things worked for them. And, Colin having to deal with them. But he'd done good so far, so Saxon continued to do the whole drag him along thing. "What if they ask for a limb in payment? HMMMM" Saxon asked imploringly with big eyes as she smiled at him. "I could be doing you a favor here, mister!" She said playfully poking his cheek.

Hmmmm. The grin said good things were going to come for Saxon, yes? Like, look at all those prizes. If Colin didn't win her anything then this day would be an epically failed movie scene. "WIN me something! I can totally see you being that guy that stays here past the end of the festival and still determined to win no matter what!" Cause he would do that for her, yeah? "You go first. We'll switch until we win something." Saxon now leaned forward to see where the owner of this set up game was.

Nigel wasn't entirely sure how he had gotten to where he was now, working as a game handler for the street festival. Sure he had been allowed to help plan it out as a shopkeeper of the street and warned of it taking back near his shop at the north end but had that meant he had to help? All he had done was offer to supply the plimpys for the game since he knew a good place to get the supplies from and next thing he knew, he was roped into working the booth.

Maybe he should have made his intern handle it in his stead?

The tall, lanky shopkeeper was dressed casually, not that he dressed up much, watching over the crowds as they meandered through the festival. The man waiting for just who might be his first customers much like his usual wait for first summer visitors to the apothecary. First there was a woman dragging a man up to the booth. Then two teenage boys. Next another couple, younger than the first and obviously teens as well. Finally there was a man in a suit that seemed to be eyeing the whole set-up like a mathematician. Now all he had to do was figure who was going to go after the bowls.

"Okay...so who is playing?" Nigel asked the gathered crowd as he made his presence known. A set of three balls in his hand to hand to the first player with stacks for the rest of them.

Brynn was so super excited that her mom not only let her come to the festival today, but she let her go off with Bart and Luc alone while she did whatever moms do, because apparently Luc was a responsible teenager. And that meant he was supposed to look after them. It also meant that he was slightly intimidating to the young girl, simply for the fact that he was a teenager. She kept a bit closer to Bart while she stole several quick glances at Luc as they walked and twirled a lock of red hair nervously around her finger.

But where was Bart going now? Brynn looked up as he ran off ahead and she quickened her pace to keep up with him, slowing as he did, her brown eyes falling over the game they had stopped in front of. "Oh, neat.." she finally said after she took in the surroundings and decided she understood the premise of the game. Nodding to Bart's words, she said, "You go first, then it's my turn!" She wondered what you won if you got the ball in the bowl.. one of those fishy thingies or some other prize?

As Bart went up to take his turn, she hung back by Luc, her finger now pulling that lock of hair towards her mouth so she could nervously chew on it. After a moment, she pulled it back out of her mouth, turning wide brown eyes up at Luc as he spoke to her and she nodded. "Oh, yeah.. I wanna get some candy too.. Do you think I have enough?" She pulled out a handful of silver and bronze coins from her pocket and held them out in her palm for the teenager to see. She wasn't completely sure..

Bart grinned as the other two finally caught up. "Took you two long enough." Crickey were all London people slow, but he didn't mind these two. No these two were cool people so he would wait on them. Plus Brynny was the youngest so she was allowed to be slow. "No one saw Mum and Charely right? I don't need them following us around." He knew they were here somewhere keeping a little eye on things, but he hated seeing the two together. This friendship seemed to be going on for a few months now. Things were not looking good to Bart.

Bart gave the other two looks, "Sure.. sure I'll go first then Brynny if she wants. We will save Luc for last." because Luc was two years older so he probably would show them up, no need to show them up right from the start. "You two understand this game right?" He himself had never played this one, but he wouldn't let on that he hadn't. Turning to the man as he asked who was first Bart threw his hand up, "I am.. " he pulled out his money, how much was it to play again.

Looking back at Luc and Brynny as he heard them say about candy, "I'd rather have popcorn and some food if they have it. You know mum will flip if she sees me with candy." He could hear his mother already and he still wasn't sure if she actually put the tracking charm on him the last time he went off alone and got himself some ice cream, or if she had just threatened it. Either way he probably should just avoid the candy area. "I'll go with you guys though.. maybe like one piece wouldn't hurt. You know try it out for Brynny make sure it isn't trick candy." There... that was his excuse to his mum if caught. Speaking of trick candy "Hey Luc if I buy some candy for Mum and Charely think you could give it to Charely for me?" So he could put the puking pasties in with the candy of course .


Turning back to the man with the game he waited holding his money. He was ready to show everyone he could do this.

Colin laughed. "They won't do that. It's a carnival. They'll just rob me of galleons." That's the way it worked. He glanced over the setup. Win her something? He could do that.

... without staying the whole night.

"Merlin. Have a little faith, Blondie. I've got this." Even if it required him staying all night... he'd get it.

"I'd like a go." he said addressing the booth worker. "How much will it be?"


Oh! There was someone here. "Us as well." she chirped up after someone else said they'd like to try. ... Hey. Wait a second. That was Tag's sister. She waved at the older girl. Then nudged Jake. Did he see Saxon too?

Wait. Did he even know Saxon...?

Probably not actually. He could just ignore what just happened.

The Norwegian-born leapling, Luc, merely tightened his lip. Did this Barty boy here forget how slow HE was during their first top secret mission?! Of course, he did. He was eleven, right? He won't remember that kind of stuff, and lucky for him the three-year-old teenager didn't hold grudges. Hehe. "Oh no, we're good. I made sure of that." He glanced around, just incase you know. A good spy never gets caught, at least not without doing extra, extra precautions. Luc only saw some weird suited man, oh wow his teeth were shiny. It made him think of his cousin Wade, he would probably just stare at that shinyness. Luc fought the urge to giggle at that. He remembered from Durmstrang that real boys don't giggle.. Wait, was that man talking to the bowls? Hm. He didn't know bowls could hear.

Suddenly there was a tall skinny man, like a giant noodle to Luc approaching them. Oh, he must run this. Luc KNEW there was something fishy about this place. "Oh yeah, yeah you two go first, I'll keep a lookout until it's my turn." As in, watching them play whilst occasionally looking out for the Vicky lady and his Uncle Charely.. oh and that man with the shiny teeth. Do you think he like, uses his teeth to blind the people? That was tempting to ask. Maybe, they could recruit him if it was true.. Anyways. They still had some matters to discuss, like how Bart wasn't allowed to have candy. "Well, your mom isn't here Barty, so as long as she doesn't see you eat the candy or have it, then you're fine." That made sense to Luc. "Then we could get some drinks to wash down the candy breath."

Luc now had to bend down a little to see Brynn's money in her tiny, tiny hands. This was a little sad for Luc. He was growing taller, and knew eventually his favorite task of hiding under the bed would be impossible at this rate. He fought the urge to wibble. "That seems fine, but I got lots of money so I can help you get more." See, their mission had to be done FAST and there was no need to have any kind of delays. Barty here knew this, and was already a couple steps ahead in planning as he asked about giving the candy. "Yeah, I can definitely do that." Luc could see how weird it must be to give an older man you hardly knew candy. So he was happy to oblige.

Colin believed in his own logic it amused Saxon so much. Though, for his own sake, she would stop on her portion of the conversation. Save him the trouble of getting confused and such. "That is true on your part. Money money money fly away!"Translation= no more money in yo pocket!

"You got this?" Saxon said nodding at him. "Let me go find a lawn chair, yeah? Get myself comfortable drink a cup of lemonade, as I watch you struggle and tease you about it." She was teasing him of course, but that felt like such a wonderful thing to happen right now. Swaying this way and that way Saxon saw someone waving at her. Squinting slightly the blonde girl realized who was waving at her and decided to wave back at Anya! They could talk later if they wanted to? Right now they both had boyfriends that needed to impress their girlfriends. Smirk.



Saxon had a theory to this. She and Colin could sit back and watch everyone else play first. Try to figure out tactics and such, how to play, what to try to do and what to try and not do. Besides they'd all get to play at one point or another. "We'll go second or something. Not first." Saxon told the person in charge. She needed to tell Colin why. So, the girl leaned forward and whispered, "We gotta figure out a tactic. Never go first when you want to figure out a tactic." Soon she was standing back up straight and smiling at the man.

What? Why wasn't anyone jumping to the front of the line with this? It really was all simple physics. One should throw underhand as throwing overhand tended to cause too much forward momentum and the ball would bounce out and all his students should know this - EYES AT MISS PHILLIPS AND MR. KELLER. The late Marion Burbage had taught a lesson about Newton's laws and he had repeated said rules during his first term. Then there was releasing at roughly a 45 degree angle and aiming just a bit in front of the bowl. However, the wind was picking up quite a bit here and there, so aiming for the bowl in front of the bowl one wanted to have the ball land in would probably result in the ball landing in the desired bowl.

See? Simple.

And this pair wasn't going first? Weeeeeeeeeeell than, that really left him with no other option. "Challenge accepted," he said as he took a bold step forward in front of the entire crowd. He threw the mildly staring boy another smile with his WHITE teeth. "What do I win when I land this ball in that one?" he asked, pointing to a specific one in the middle row and off to the left with a swimming red plimpy in it.

Jake had sort of... tuned out. He was thinking very hard about how he was going to win Anya something from this game. And... because of that, he sort of missed the other people that walked up. And when he tuned back into the world, Anya was looking at him. He gave a sheepish smile. What did he miss?

...Apparently, more than he thought. The Gryffindor turned his head and to his surprise saw one of his professors looking back at him. Flamsteed. How was it that he always seemed to pop up places? "Hello, Professor," Jake greeted, suddenly feeling like he was doing something wrong by having Anya holding his arm like she was. But... it was summer. In Diagon Alley. They weren't in class. Jake could like... kiss his girlfriend right there and Airey couldn't do anything about it.

... Tempting. But Jake held back.

Instead he just watched as the man took his turn at the game, and stepped up behind him. He'd go next. Yep. Anya told the staffer guy that they were playing, right?

Brynn's eyes were still wide with awe and excitement as she peered at everything around her. Looking back at Bart as he spoke, she gently shook her ginger locks. Charley was the friend that liked to have sleepovers, right? She hadn't seen him since he went off with Bart's mommy.. which made things even more exciting for the nearly ten year old. Her mom almost never let her go off without a grownup! She looked up at Luc, wondering what he meant by 'making sure of that' but she soon shrugged it off as big kid talk and looked back at the game.

"I think so.." she said to Bart as she bit her lip, still keeping her eyes on the fishy bowls. "Just throw the ball in the bowl, right?" That was soo easy! She could do that for sure. And that was the perfect order, she thought. "I'll watch you though so I know for sure." Then she glanced at Luc. "And you can go last cuz it'll be even easier for you," she informed him rather shyly. A teenager was definitely gonna be good at this game.

She looked at the two boys as they talked about candy and Luc told her he thought she had enough. That was good, but what was even better was that the teenage boy told her that he would spot her any more money that she might need and that earned him a grateful grin. "Ok.. thanks." She frowned a little as Bart said about his mom not letting him have candy. That was just dumb because everyone knew kids loved candy.. and she thought her mom was strict. She nodded at what Luc said. "Yeah.. she's not here so she won't see and you won't get in trouble. And if she sees it, we can just say it's mine or Luc's." Because she was allowed to have candy and she was pretty sure the teenager was allowed to because they were allowed to do almost anything they wanted! "But popcorn sounds good too.. I might get some of that." She looked down at the coins in her hand before pocketing them again. "And some butterbeers too!" Those were like what teenagers drank, right? And she could be as mature as one of them drinking that. She stole another glance at Luc.

The two boys seemed to be a bit conspiratorial to Brynn and she figured it had to do with Mrs. Maroon's friend, vaguely wondering if Bart had ever found his frog and if he got it to jump in his soup or something like that. She giggled a little bit to herself, the mental image being too funny not to laugh. The diminutive redhead was about to ask Bart about it, but it seemed it was now his turn for the game and she turned her big brown eyes on the man in charge as she waited for her friend to play.

Colin chuckled lightly. "You should really have some more faith in your boyfriend." he said. He gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. Then one on the lips because... you know, why not? He then glanced over his shoulder and spotted one of his interns. Weird. Did Blondie know that guy? Or maybe she was waving at the girl? One of them must have known Mini!Blondie.

He lowered his voice when Saxon did. "You really don't think I can do this, do you?" He pulled away and looked at her with a raised eyebrow. Come on girly, now you were supposed to be supportive and tell him how great a boyfriend he was and how his big strong arms would win her a fluffy prize.



Anya smiled as Saxon waived to her. Aww. Yay. Maybe they'll talk later and compare prizes. That would be fun. Anya bet hers would be more awesome because Jake was her boyfriend and he was awesome.

Then again. Saxon's was pretty attractive as well. She tilt her head to the side slightly. Right. Her boyfriend. Time to pay attention to him.

... Professor?

She looked around before spying one of her favorite Professors. "Hey Professor." she greeted with a wide smile. She then kissed Jake on the cheek because she couldn't get in trouble for it. And she scooted more into him and wrapped her arm tighter around his just for emphasis.

"Are you going to play as well?"

There was a street festival in Diagon Alley?!

That sounded cool. Really cool. Sophie could remember going to Diagon Alley many times since she was a really little kid, but she'd never seen a street festival here. She wandered up to it, only barely looking back to notice that her mom was still nearby, just not right beside her. It was good to have a little independence.

So, ...what was this game, hmm? Sophie craned her neck and saw a bunch of bowls with plimpies swimming around in them. Apparently, you had to toss a little ball into the bowl, and if you did, you won a prize. She wasn't too sure she wanted a plimpy as a pet, but the game itself looked fun enough.

Tobias had never seen a plimpy before. Sure, there were pictures in some of his textbooks and he had a VAGUE idea of what they were, but... yeah. Now they were HERE. The Hufflepuff had just assumed the bowls were full of fish when he'd passed by here earlier, but now he'd actually taken a second glance and was FASCINATED by what he saw. Plus they were COLOURFUL.

That, in the end, was what made Toby LEEEEEEEEAN in all directions to try and get a closer look, what with all the people at the stall. So many colours to SEE. He was perhaps a little too dazzled, for when Tobias was leaning all the way left to try and watch the antics of a particularly interesting plimpy, he lost his balance and realised all to late that he had leaned too far.

The boy flailed and crashed to the ground, kind of turning himself in mid-air so that he wouldn't hit a nearby kid. He THOUGHT he missed her, or she could have noticed and dodged, but still... to be sure...

"Sorry! Sorry!" Tobias directed his rushed apologies to the would be victim as he clambered back up to his feet. "I didn't knock into you, did I?" Genuine concern was in his voice. She looked slightly smaller than him, so he had to make sure.

If he hurt her he would steal ALL THE PLIMPIES as an I'M SO SORRY gift.

Nigel did his best to keep track of who said what and who actually answered the question he had posed to the whole lot of them. This was why he preferred things in a well-ordered queue because he would likely have gone nuts handling customers en-mass like this within the apothecary.

That exclaimation and the hand raised up in affirmation was all he needed to act. Nigel moved over to the group and offered the young man(Bart) the three balls that he would have to use upon the bowls before him in exchange to for the 2 sickle fee. "Stand no further forward than this line," the shopkeeper instructed, pointing to the carefully marked point not too far away from the plimpys but not too close either. "Then aim and throw."
Simple as that.

No further instructions needed...right?

Another stepped back (Luc) which was fine with Nigel. They couldn't all play at once after all and not having the various players fight over positions made things easier for him in the long run.

Squinting slightly the blonde girl realized who was waving at her and decided to wave back at Anya! They could talk later if they wanted to? Right now they both had boyfriends that needed to impress their girlfriends. Smirk.

"Okay...so who is playing?" Nigel asked the gathered crowd as he made his presence known. A set of three balls in his hand to hand to the first player with stacks for the rest of them.

Saxon had a theory to this. She and Colin could sit back and watch everyone else play first. Try to figure out tactics and such, how to play, what to try to do and what to try and not do. Besides they'd all get to play at one point or another. "We'll go second or something. Not first." Saxon told the person in charge. She needed to tell Colin why. So, the girl leaned forward and whispered, "We gotta figure out a tactic. Never go first when you want to figure out a tactic." Soon she was standing back up straight and smiling at the man.

His second volunteer was pulled back by his own companion. Something that he wasn't going to get into. To each his own, Nigel was only here to help out his fellow shopkeepers in the street festival. He certainly didn't hear the whisper, thereby having no clue as to the real reason they were backing up to one of the second places. So he simply let it go, focusing his work on his first round of volunteers instead.

The older man...well older then the teenagers and young men and women finally spoke up as if making a decision. He seemed to Nigel to be sizing up everything that had been placed before him in the form of the ball-tossing game. The man....professor as he was called by the teenagers was accepting the challenge as he said, the choice of words gaining a slight eyebrow raise from the shopkeeper but Nigel simply moved over and offered him the tossing balls for when he paid for them.

"Why don't you try and find out. More of a surprise that way."

Sophie had just craned her neck enough to get a good look, when she felt this sudden blow in her side. Well, it was less of a blow and more like a run-in with something. What, she didn't know, because in the next second, she was wide-eyed an flailing her arms to try and get her balance. This was not going to end well for her, was it?

In the end, she landed on her behind sitting straight up on the ground. OW. Who in the name of Merlin wanted a chance for a plimpy that badly? She frowned and looked around, trying to see one, if anybody might have seen this fall, and two, who caused it in the first place.

...and when she found him, he was asking if he knocked into her? Umm, gee, let me see. I'm on the ground, no longer standing, and there's a bit of dirt on my once clean clothes. What did he THINK?! Still, he was apologizing, so she guessed it was okay. Even if her pride was wounded a little. Or a lot. "Erm, yeah, but it's alright," she said, pushing herself off the ground. She brushed the dirt off then looked to make sure her mom wasn't running over there to embarrass her any further. Nope. She was clear.

It was only then that she got a good look at the boy. He looked older than her, but maybe not by much. She tried to crack a small smile for him. "You really wanted that plimpy, didn't you?" she asked.

Oh, see? Now Tobias felt bad. He was about to offer her a helping hand to get back up, but she was already making her own way back to her feet, so Toby quickly diverted his hand so he brushed some his hair away from his eyes.

"I'm really sorry," he said then, uncomfortably aware that that was three times he'd now apologised, his face twisted into a weird expression between awkwardness and guilt. Awkwuiltness. There. He'd just invented a face.

Luckily, the girl didn't seem to be dwelling on it because she soon smiled and mentioned the plimpies instead. Toby liked it when people smiled, so he smiled too before looking over at the plimpies. "I like that they're different colours," he explained somewhat sheepishly. It seemed the girl thought he had been trying to win the game part... which seemed a little bit more acceptable than 'I liked the colours' so Tobias decided to go ahead and not explicitly correct that assumption. "And this is the first time I've ever seen one up close before."

Did you actually get to WIN the walky-fish-things though? Because if so... THAT WAS SO COOL. Maybe he WOULD have a go.

Tobias knew he had some sickles in his pocket, so it wouldn't hurt to give it a try. And it was probably quite fun anyway. "You gonna give it a shot?"

"It's okay," Sophie said. "Really, it is." This kid had to be a Hufflepuff. Not that she had anything against Hufflepuffs, because she didn't, but she had their personality pretty much down pat. "Do you go to Hogwarts?" she suddenly and randomly asked. Well, it wasn't random to her. She just really wanted to see if her Hufflepuff suspicions were right.

"I've never seen one up close either," she said. "I mean, I know what they are, because my whole family is magical, and I've heard about lots of magical things. I've just never really seen one." She perked up then said, "Once, my grandmother had her class dissect them." Looking at them in the little bowls now, though, they didn't seem right for dissecting. At least not the ones in the little bowls being advertised as pets.

Did she want to give it a shot? "I don't know. I'd like the challenge, but I don't really want a plimpy. If I win one, though, you can have it if you want," she said.

"Hello Miss Phillips, Mr. Keller," Airey greeted with a quick salute to the two Gryffindors and then, oh, erm, this was awkward. Apparently only for him though considering the two couldn't keep their paws off each other. Really did not need to see that. Really. They should be thankful that they were not at Hogwarts. In the Observatory - or the Astronomy Tower for that matter. Instant detention and point loss for blatant PDA AND making your professor squirm.

But now his attention was back on the gentleman and his plimpy filled bowls.

"I suppose I'll just have to do that." Airey would have called the man a party pooper with his mind, but he also enjoyed the air of mystery. Not knowing what you would get kept the edge on what was actually a very muggle carnival game.

Taking his position after dropping his payment off in front of the man, he scooped up the first ball and squuuuuuuuuinted at the bowl. Yes. That one. Right there with the red plimpy. The astronomer stuck his finger in his mouth and pulled it out. Aha! No wind right now! Perfect conditions!

With a fluid underhand toss, he released the ball and watched as it slam dunked right into the bowl. Sorry there, plimpy.

"Alright! Score one for this astronomizzle!"
