"Well, Lissa is in Ravenclaw," he said with a smirk. "She really is the brightest in our little household. Wise beyond her years...And then my youngest just got sorted into Hufflepuff. She just wrote me the other day demanding that her bedspread be yellow with Badgies all over the pillows." Theron laughed. SPOILER!!: The Boss Theron listened intently. Oh goodie, this would be exciting! And a great opportunity to bond as a team! He simply couldn't wait to get started. Christian dismissed them and now it was time to get down to business. "Hello everyone!" Theron announced to the remaining Floo and Apparition employees. "I think we should start off by introducing ourselves and get to know one another a little more." Theron gave a glance over Ingrid, the 'I hope this is okay' look. "I suppose I will start out. My name is Theron Anastakis, I am new to Ministry and the newly appointed Division Head of the Floo Network!" Theron was absolutely beaming. He couldn't be more excited about this new task at hand. |

'I'm Liliana Bones' she said, introducing herself like Theron had said to 'I'm new here, and I work in the Apparations Office' she looked at Theron 'Did you say you had daughters at Hogwarts? My eldest started there last year, she's a Slytherin. My niece is there too - Madeline Force. She's Ravenclaw...' |

Oh good! Theron was back for the long run and not just then and there. Feeling that she had hit a bad toe Ingrid said to smooth things over "I look forward to getting to know all the new people too. Do you think they'll allow pets at work?" If she was going to be taking care of her aunts tortoise then there were probably days when she had to bring Fred with her. "A Ravenclaw and a Hufflepuff. I didn't go to Hogwarts but if I had I would have liked to be sorted into Hufflepuff." Hearing about the badger want Ingrid laughed warmly "If you need help. I can probably sew up some badger stuff pillows and even a sweater that you can give her." As Theron took control of things and moved them over to more serious stuff like the competitionIngrid felt it like her obligation to introduce herself after him. "I'll go third.. I'm Ingrid Johansson! Division head of the Apparition test center. I've worked here at the ministry for little over a year now." Beaming at each and every employee of the floo and apparition division she hoped that more people would get the courage to introduce themselves. |

"Well, I think it's time we dived right in, but please those who haven't introduced themselves please jump in when you can," Theron suggested. They were certainly on a time frame and needed to get to focus on the things they needed right away. "So does anyone have any ideas for our divisions?" |

And now it was introduction time. "Jayden Monroe. I'm in Apparition as well and I've been here for a year and a bit." |

Theron then addressed the group once more. "What are some of your specialties? Singing? Performing? Perhaps we have a few poets amongst us?" Theron figured the best place to start would be figuring out people's skills and then go from there for more ideas. |

Christian hurried over to the group. "So! Can I be of any assistance?" He was anxious to see what folks were coming up with. |
Nina entered the office. It was filled with people and a group huddled at a corner discussing something. "Excuse me, is there a meeting or something?" she didn't want to miss anything especially on her first day of work. |
"I came over to tell you that there's some other work that needs our attention after all, and we won't be able to finish the competition," he said solemnly, drumming his fingers on a nearby desk. Running a hand through his salt-and-pepper hair, he sighed before rising. "I'll be calling a meeting about the issue, but until then, back to work. Hopefully we'll be able to get back to the contest at some point. I was really interested in seeing what you would come up with." |
Sorry guys...been busy! Quote:
She would have asked why but she figured that it would be explained at the coming meeting in the conference room. Nodding to Christan Ingrid turned on her heel and headed back to her desk calling "You heard our boss. Get back to work everyone! Come on Jayden, Theron you had some good ideas but sadly the competition has been cancelled. It's nothing to dwell over..Come lets work." Quote:

So like Armen was totally bummed out by the crises that had succeeded in both interupting and ending the competition between the different Divisons on Level 6. He was really looking forward to working with all of the new employees and with his fellow Heads. Turning around in his spinny chair, the man reached for a pile of folders that were laying in a bin labeled, 'In' and layed them on the desktop with a sigh. There was always so much paper work. But it was part of the job that Armen loved. |
After a short break out in town, Laura made her way back to the work area. She wasn't going to hide it; she was a little disappointed that the competition had met an untimely end, but was pleased she got to work a little bit with her fellow Transportation employees indeed. She waved hello to the other division heads as she approached the four desks at the far end of the room. Her new glasses were sliding down her nose a bit. She pushed them in place as she sat down at her desk. |

"Well good morning Laura! I like the new glasses, when did you get those?" he asked as he reached for another stack of paperwork. |
Pierre walked into the office and over to his cubicle. He put his bag on the table and started to pull out the things that he'd been working on. He let out a sigh and looked around the office. Sadly, he'd hardly met anyone and he'd been working here for quite a while. Instead of being sociable, Pierre turned back to his desk to begin working on something. |

But then again, not really. She could still clearly recall her days working in the Portkey Office, designated exclusively for Portkey employees. Yes, that was right. She was a Portkey employee at that point, working under Armen. And to think she very nearly decided to go to Muggle university instead of coming to work at the Ministry after Hogwarts. Laura glanced at Armen, whom she was now colleagues with, and caught his grin. There was a grin that had never failed to make her grin back. "Good morning yourself," she said brightly. She reflexively adjusted her glasses a bit at their mention. He liked them. She was glad. She was slightly self-conscious about them herself. "Thanks. I've only had them today," she replied. "How fares the Portkey division?" she asked, eying the paperwork piled up on Armen's desk. |

Pierre looked up from his desk to see who was calling his name. It was Lucas. "Hey Lucas. Good morning to you too," he said in his familiar French accent. He was always wondering who could actually understand him. "So, how've you been?" It had been a while since the last time they'd talked. |
