SPOILER!!: Armens' Office Quote:
Sliding down onto the floor next to his Boss as the man indicated him to, Adam crossed his legs over (a kind of awkward thing to do in his jeans. Not that he minded, of course, although Lorelai would.) and smiled as Armen introduced him. He raised his hand, nodding back to the few who did so to him. He followed Armen's nod to those whom where in the same division as him and waved his hand slightly, before lowering it back to the ground and looking back at the man sat beside him. |
Looking up from the memo he had just recieved he stared at his employees. They didn't know what was going on did they? Lord Borr was here, which meant that he Cult's plans were certainly going to pass through law, no question. Happiness tingled up and down the Transportation Head and it was strange because he was actually starting to like his new alligences. Perhaps they had won him over. Ok back to his little meeting. "Good morning to you too." he greeted those that had greated him back and then cleared his throat to deliver the good news. "As all of you noticed, unless any of you are blind and should go see a doctor, I recieved an important Memo here this morning. It is with great pleasure that I announce to you all that Lord Berty Borr is going to be our new Junior Undersecretary for the Ministry of Magic." he paused for dramatic effect. Some may not know him, so he must explain further. "Lord Borr is a very important and busy man in the Wizarding world and has thankfully taken time out of his schedule to help us out here. If you remember back a few years ago when Hogwarts was seperated into the two school for boy and girls? Borr helped run and teach at the academy for wizards. And he also was a substitute Astronomy Professor at Hogwarts after the unfortunate death of Mr. Forrester." There that would allow for them to hear of Lord Borr sufficiently. "Anyways he will be a great addition to the fine witches and wizards working here." "Ok first matter of business. I know that everything has been rushed and a bit hectic sense most of you have started here on Level 6 so I want this opportunity that we are all together lie this to be a bit of a secretarial one at first." he stood up and motioned for them to follow him. "Ok desk assignments. If you don't have one stand by me and if you do go ahead and sit at your's please." he clapped his hands and waited for them all to shuffle about. "Now for those of you around me, this is how we are set up in here. Apparation Desks are in the far left corner, and Floo is over there in the far right." Taking a second and then looking at those already in the other two corners he put to rest his small bout of confusion. "And those in the opposite left corner are Broom and the opposite right corner are Porkey. Quickly chose your desks and get some of your things out while I check over my notes for today's activities." He stood aside to allow them more room and began to leaf through some parchment. |
Pierre just listened as Armen talked. He had heard very little about Lord Borr and really didn't care to hear as much as Armen was saying. Even though it wasn't that much. He waited somewhat impatiently for Armen to finish talking about Borr so that they could just get on with the business they were supposed to be doing. Finally, Armen stopped talking about this man and moved on to...desk assignments? Pierre just shrugged his shoulders and headed to his desk in the far right corner of the room. He looked sat in his chair and waited for everyone else to do the same. |

Including the fact that there were still Lords. He thought those titles died out a long time ago. At least in the magical world. Oh well. The guy probably wasn't even royalty. He was probably just a guy that was arrogant enough to want a title. Aww. It was time to get up now? That was too bad. Jayden had been rather comfortable on the floor. He stood up and brushed himself off before heading to his desk. |
WOW, what a lame post. XP I'm sleepy... Quote:
He waited for Armen to point to the Broom desks and wandered over to his new desk in the opposite right corner. He plopped down in his new chair and waited for... something. |

She joined the rest of the new workers around Mister Recard and waited for him to give instructions as to where to go. She looked around and managed a feeble smile to the department head before going to the corner where the Broom department was. Katrina made her way over to a desk in the Broom department and looked for a desk. She smiled politely over at the people she passed by before sitting down, pulling her seat in. So... this was what it felt like to be working at a desk. She looked at it and couldn't help but feel like it looked quite empty. Tomorrow... tomorrow she would find something to put on it, perhaps a picture or a vase of flowers. Either one worked fine for her... But for now, she had to focus... except she didn't know what she was supposed to focus on, she didn't have an assignment on anything yet. Katrina supposed she would just wait for further instructions. |

Standing up as everyone else began to rise, Adam stood in the circle around the Department Head and looked around as people quickly found their seats and sat down. He focused mainly on the far left corner, where Mr. Recard had said Apparation was to be, and he ran a hand through his hair as the last of those with already assigned desks sat and he was told to go and find one. Making his way to the back, he weaved between the desks, nodding to the few people he made eye contact with, before sitting at the first empty desk he came to in the area for his Division. |
I will let you all know where to go in a pm, setting everything up now. ;) Looking up from his plans, Armen saw that everyone was now seated at a desk, either new or old. If not they would just have to wait and chose one later. Stashing the parchments and the memo from before into an inside pocket of his suit, he spoke to the room at large. "Good, glad that is finished." he whipped his wand and name plaques appeared on each desk with the name of the employee and their division etched into the shiny copper. They were nice, very professional. "Now as you all remember, and for the first time for you Adam," he paused and waved at his newest employee. He was seated all the way in the back of the Apparation corner, hopefully the boy could hear him. "We have been given the blessing from the Ministry's Administration as a whole, to begin the process of interweaving the Muggle and Magical forms of transport. This is a trial run and depending on how we do will help determine the future of our two worlds." Dramatic pause. This was big, and he didn't think some of them realized just how huge it truely was, either for or against it. "Now, if you are not dressed in clothes appropriate for muggle London then please on our way down, take it upon yourselves and change. You will not be allowed to participate if not." he then thought of something and needed it to be stated aloud. "And don't think that will get you out of doing our work today, you will change." he chuckled. He was thinking of Pierre but didn't call him out individually. Armen still hoped deep down he would actually enjoy himself. Armen had been just like him in the beginning but he had changed. The Cult gets to you. "Ok, so ladies and gentlemen of the awesome level six, grab your coats and follow me!" he opened the door to the corridor and the lifts. |
Katrina's blue eyes widened when the plaque with her name appeared out of nowhere on her desk. So she supposed it didn't look so empty anymore. She listened to the department head and nodded. Katrina glanced down at what she was wearing today. It was muggle clothes so she supposed she was set to go. She picked up her jacket and slipped it on before following Mister Recard out of the office. She had absolutely no idea as to where she was going but she felt a bit adventurous today... now if she could only find Jamie too... |

He transfigured his work clothes into a pair of worn jeans and a polo shirt. This was what he usually wore in the Muggle world so Armen was going to have to deal with it. With one last sigh, he followed Armen out of the office. This is so not going to be fun... |
Mason smiled as a shiny copper plaque showed up on his desk. Yeah, shiny. Good gracious, he was like a crazy little girl. He turned his attention back to Armen and listened to him talk. Interweaving muggle and wizarding transportation. Sounded... dangerous, but intruiging nonetheless. As Armen mentioned clothing, Mason examined himself. Just looked like normal business wear, right? Slacks, white shirt, tie, vest... Normal. He stood from his chair and slipped his coat jacket on. He followed the group out the corridor |

Hearing his name, he put his plague back down in it's place and looked up towards the front as the Head of the Department spoke. He nodded when the man paused, to show that he was listening, and thought about it. Interweaving Muggle and Magical methods of Transportation? Sounded.. interesting, he decided. Although he wasn't quite sure what it would entail, he decided he would find out soon enough. Standing up as those around him did, Adam looked down at what he was wearing; black skinny jeans, a white shirt, blue tie and blazer. That seemed Muggle enough, he thought, seeing as he was donning pretty much everyday wear (except from the lack of Vans and addition of tie). Deciding that he didn't really need to change, he followed Armen out of the Department. |
Oooh, that sounded exciting. Claire was glad she was already in Muggle clothing - no need to change, because it would probably take her hours. She looked down at her outfit, straightening her shirt. She hoped it looked alright - it was just what she usually wore, really. Black patterened tights, a pair of denim shorts, and a blue shirt, left open to reveal the vintage t-shirt she had on underneath. She grabbed her jacket, resisted the urge to take her shiny new plaque with her, and followed the group out of the door. This was going to be fun. |
