Employees and Invisible Ikenna! The office was in the middle of being cleaned up and the majority of the things were fixed but there was still some work to be done. Suddenly the few peices of paper on the ground and some debris and dust was swept up when a figure suddenly appeared in the middle of the room in a flush. Armen had just Apparated from outside the Minister's Confernce Room. He was very distressed looking and his tie was undune and his dress shirt was half untucked. He looked around at his employees and composed himself a bit. "Great work you guys! You are all doing so well, thanks for the amazing work keep it up!" He walked closer to his Division Heads. "And I checked the conference room by the way, its all ok. And great job taking control while I was gone, I will be back soon to show you all the suprise for the good work in the fight and clean-up. I just......left something in my office!" and he then ran down the hall nervous as to what he would find, and hoping to Merlin he had beat Ikenna down here. |

If she sent an employee down the corridor to assess the potential damage of another room they had to clean in two places. Cleaning wasn't one of Scarlett's favourite duties and probably nobody elses either. Picking up her muggle wireless radio she turned it on and moved to attack the last pile of debris in the work area. Quote:
Letting out a sigh of relief Scarlett was about to ask if they could get a hint about what the surprise might be when Armen just as swiftly dissappeared. Confused she turned to look at Laura asking "Any idea what all that was about? Armen looked hurried." |
Royce feeling better than she had in days was busy repairing her desk. Those pesky figurines had totally destroyed and of course all her work as well. It was going to take her days to redo it and she wasn't looking forward to that. She looked up as Armen appeared in the office looking like something the cat drug in. And just as suddenly as he appeared he disappeared. Working in the Ministry was proving to be more of a challenge than she had banked on. |
ALL LEVEL 6 Employess! :) Walking slowly into the work areas and cubicles of Level Six, Armen walked carefully trying not to run into his invisible 'visitor' and bring his position to knowledge of the others. He turned and saw a few of them working on finishing the repairs and stopped with his hand on the side of his face he had just gotten the burns on, hiding them to make it look like he was just thinking. "Come on over here you guys, Scarlett, Laura, Royce, Brooke, Katrina, Jamie, and Cris." he said smiling smally. "I am proud of you guys and they work you have done to bring this office back together. Now we are going to take a break, now that it is pretty much finished, and head on into the Conference room for a meeting that is now involving pressing measures." he said nodding more to himself than to his employees, "So, yes, grab parchment and quills and meet me in there in five minutes. I have sent memos to the rest of the employees." he then walked down the hall with smiles to those who were watching. |
With Recard having effectively cleared out the work cubicles, Ikenna moved swiftly and silently amongst the empty desks, riffling through papers here, picking up personal mementos there, making note of which desks were busy with work and which were empty due to laziness. He made certain to place every item he touched back in its precise place, in the exact way he had been trained to do many years ago. Take with your eyes, not with your hands, Gevrik liked to say, so he left no sign that he had been snooping on the Transportation Employees and had planted his hand-created eavesdropping devices throughout their shared work space. The round, beetle-shaped devices were charmed to blend with their surrounding environment seamlessly but would still record certain snippets of conversations and planning without becoming obtrusive or noticeable. Ikenna had left a few of his higher-end devices in Armen's office before the man had even arrived on his own level and they all worked the same way. It was all for the greater good and security of the Ministry. Pleased with his work for now, the dark, invisible man swept out of the work area and moved on to the conference centre. |
Jenny couldn't sleep much that night, and instead had stayed up writing most of the night as she snacked on some sweets that she had stashed for nights exactly like that. Bright and early, Jenny had dressed and headed to the Ministry. Walking into the work area of her department, she realized that she was the first one back to work. Having not been in the Ministry for too long, she didn't quite know what to do, even if she did, she still had to think about the meeting that had taken place the day before. Giving a sigh, she sat down in a random chair beside a desk, and waited for someone else to make it in. At least then, she hoped someone would tell her where she was supposed to go. |
Katrina rubbed her eyes outside of the working area, and took a sip of the coffee she held in hand. She needed her caffeine today. She just knew it. However, she just looked around. She had not been able to select her work desk yet and she wasn't sure which one was going to be hers. She didn't exactly know who her division head was and she was quite nervous. Katrina awkwardly waved at the other woman who was there. What did she do now? Did she just stand around, or did she take a seat? |
A paper airplane-shaped memo shot out of the Department Head's office and into the work area. It soared over a cubicle wall and into the space where two women sat waiting. It landed on the floor in between them and its contents were ready to be read: Quote:

Pierre walked into the office after what was the weirdness of that meeting. He still didn't think that helping Muggles was such a good idea. It didn't matter though because Armen was the boss and what he said went, even if Pierre thought it was completely wrong. He smiled at the two women already there for work and went over to his desk. He put his bag down and turned to face his pile of papers. They were neat and most of them were filled out. Pierre turned around in his chair and looked over the room. He wondered where everyone else was at. |

Jayden walked in the following morning unsure of what to expect. What he didn't expect was his boss to not be around. "Where is everyone?" he asked spotting a paper airplane memo. He shrugged and stretched out on the floor. What? He was told to get comfortable. And that's exactly what he planned to do. |
Katrina scanned the memo briefly and bit her lower lip in thought. This place was awkwardly silent and she wanted someone to say something, anything really. Or just to see a familiar face really. She let out a little cough, the silence was a bit overwhelming and she was never really one to break it. Katrina glanced at the door for a possible sign of Jamie walking through. There was none and in the time she was here, two people and only two people, had entered through those doors. Katrina allowed her eyes to scan the room again. Nothing really was of interest here and she saw someone lie down on the floor. Oh...? That was something new... The corner of her lips tugged up a bit and she couldn't help but giggle. She took another sip of the coffee she had in hand. "You sure know how to make yourself comfortable, don't you?" she asked, smiling at the person who had laid down. The memo had said get comfortable, except no one else really seemed to be doing that... except him, that is. |
Quote:
"My only flaw however, is taking things much too literally. Hence, me being on the floor." he said stretching out his arm behind his head. "Care to join me? Or will you be more comfortable at a boring ole chair?" |

"Hello Jenny. So you got a job here?" He remembered her saying something about her not knowing what she was going to do. Pierre was glad that she figured it out. |
The day couldn't go any different. Cris was not late, just reminded that he was a coffee lover and of course, he had to get his two cups before coming into the cubicle area and start to interact again with the people he was going to work with. "Good morning, ladies...gentleman..." He said as he walked in with his cup of coffee in his hand and the other hand, holding his gray suitcase with some paperwork still to fix at the cubicles. And where exactly was he going to get comfortable at? He didn't exactly have a cubicle set up. |

Katrina bit her lip to prevent herself from laughing out loud. "You do know that it might be dirty right?" she asked, a smile on her face. She looked down at the ground. It was quite tempting... hmm... chair versus ground. It was, surprisingly, a hard decision. Katrina finished her coffee and tossed it into the trash can. "Why not?" she said smiling as she laid down on the ground next to him. The view from below was actually quite nice. She now knew how her younger cousin felt like. Then she heard someone walk in. Eep. She just hoped that she wouldn't be trampled. Oh dear, how embarrassing would that be? So, meekly, she waved up at whoever it was hoping the person would ignore her oddness for joining the other person next to her. |
Thanks for showing up guys! :) Plotness is starting NOW!! With Adam on his heels, Armen entered the flourescently-lit Work Area that housed his awesome and quirky collection of employees. He really liked those guys and gals and their spunky little attitudes yesterday during the meeting. He was touched by their sense of pride and responsibility to their careers and Transportation that they didn't want people like the Cult (and unfortunately himself) ruining it. But what must be done must be done. And besides they didn't know he was on the Cult. *shrug* He walked in and saw that Jayden, one of the employees he had worked with the longest, and Katrina, a newer woman who had proven to be fun and likeable were lying stretched out on the floor. "Good morning everyone! Glad some people followed my directions to the 'T'." He chuckled warmly. Then unexpectedly he walked over to the area the two were lying, an open clearing in the center of the four sections of cubicles, and sat down indian style on the carpet. "Ok everyone form a circle around me and criss-cross applesauce those legs!" he said as if it was perfectly normal office vernacular, wiggling excitedly. He motioned for Adam to sit next to him. "Everyone this is Adam, he is our newest employee and is going to be working with those awesome fools in Apparation." he nodded to those who were in that division breifly. He waited for the others to join him in the circle. They had a big day ahead of them and they needed to straighten out a few things first. |
Pierre turned away from Jenny as Armen walked into the office. Here comes the fun... He still didn't agree with what they were doing. Muggles got along just fine without them. They didn't need wizards help to get through their daily lives. This was completely ridiculous. Criss cross applesauce? Something strange had happened to Armen, and Pierre really didn't like it. He walked over to where Armen was but leaned against a nearby cubicle. There was no way he was going to sit on the floor in his suit. Pierre nodded to the new guy. He wondered what he thought of all of this. |
A flash of purple zoomed into the work area, flying over heads and cubicle walls and coming to a hault in the center of the room. What news had this official looking memo brought for the Ministery workers? Quote:

Armen will tell every1 the news soon as we get started (just allowing others to join) Quote:

Cris, all he could do was do as told, and sit on the carpet as some of the people inside the office had done. The flash of purple light, though, made him rush down to the floor and wait for the news there were to tell. Indeed, all this was becoming mysterious and weird. Having to deal with Muggles? Simplifying their lives? And his boss' attitude, which totally made Cris think that he was in some sort of hypnosis or something, although he did try to make that idea get out of his head for a long time already. |
He's in a weird mood... :) Quote:

He immediately got off his chair and plopped down on the floor and helped create the circle with the other employees. The less enthusiastic employees. *stare* Suddenly, Mason saw a flash of purple zoom over head and then it stopped in the middle of their His attention span wasn't great today. |

"Ehh... I showered this morning." he said. "I'm sure some of that will cancel out the floor's dirtiness." he said with a smiled. Quote:
He sat up and looked at the new employee. He'd be in Apparition Department with him. He nodded in greeting to Adam. He then sat up. Shortly after he sat up a note flew in. He watched as his boss read it. Whatever it was it was causing Armen to smile. He tilted his head to the side and wondered if that note was for everyone. |
SPOILER!!: The Boss Man, the purple lights and a bit of a bad influence? Katrina shook her head. "I'm not so sure about that last part..." she said smiling. And she was quite sure it didn't seeing as the floor's germs would just stick to him. Then again, she was lying on the floor as well so... she probably shouldn't be freaking herself out like that. She felt quite relaxed lying on the ground. It was quite nice till she heard the footsteps of someone else and heard the head of the department talking. Katrina shot straight up, blushing a bit and feeling completely embarrassed. Maybe it wasn't very much of a good idea and she did have a bit of a guilty look on her face. "Good morning Mister Recard," Katrina greeted before joining the circle. Katrina sat "criss cross applesauce" style on the ground. She smiled at the new employee in the apparation department and gave a little wave. Then seemingly out of no where, a flash of purple came and a sealed letter of some sorts. Katrina wanted to read it, she really did but the department head seemed to have taken it first. She wondered what that was all about, especially since he looked awfully happy. |
