Charles Hollingberry EraAll historical records pertaining to Ministry of Magic RPG under Minister for Magic, Charles Hollingberry [IC March 2097 - present; OOC November 2018 - present]
Just outside the Ministry Daycare, there is a separate area that has been set up for the use of our healers hired by the Ministry. It's a gleaming room of cleanliness with white floors and walls, dark wooden furniture, and silver accents with the back wall adorned with a heavy ruffling tapestry that animates between the Sign of the Deathly Hallows and Gellert Grindelwald himself. Everything has been sanitized and disinfected...and most of the equipment is new. It has all been put in place for the safety and welfare of the children of approved Ministry personnel. Bumps and bruises? Scraped knees? Upset tummies? We deal with it all here! Not a child? No worries! All employees are welcomed to come and be seen. Adult tummy aches and bruises are just as important to us!
While the function of this station is set for primarily low grade injuries, the cherry red candlestick telephone has a direct link to St. Mungo's where healers are on-call for more serious and life threatening injuries.

Albert Morgenstern, the man who seemed to be in a perpetually foul mood, took the much-needed Healer visit after weeks of intense work for the Ministry. As a responsible adult that he was, he'd been aware of the happenings at Hogwarts and its current situation, all thanks to the failed attempts of DERP. Most of the time, anything that required the Ministry's help meant that the task was usually not just for a particular Department. That's where his trouble started.
Dressed down for the occasion, the Enforcement Division head had just been to his nth mission for that week, helping the rest of the team in retrieving the Creatures that fled Hogwarts and the Forbidden Forest. Albert did not like legwork and the missions did not help; unorganised and all over the place. He took the liberty to talk to different Reserves, big and small to take in some of the "foundlings" that they were able to recover, and so far they have been helpful. What he didn't like was the paperwork that came with it. He and his committee agents were working round the clock, and it seems to him that it became a never-ending task.
The man thanked the Healer who took the time to see him and took a seat just outside the main examination room to centre himself. He was well aware of the fact that the battle isn't over just yet.

Who even wore hands anymore who didn't wanna hide their fingerprints? "What? Uhh, I didn't put anything on you, man," Luther was disgusted but also wanted to laugh at the thought. "Who even wears gloves at this time and age," he continued, leading his cousin out of the chamber and towards where they would find a healer. Also also, how come Airey didn't show up after the patronus? Maybe he was in a meeting... yeah, prolly just decided to leave it to The Man Luther. Beam.
Sure he didn't. David's head hurt too much to continue to bother Luther about this. Instead, he slipped the gloves off his hands and folded them together, tucking them into one of the pockets of his suit. He'd investigate these later and try to recall if he had put them on or... or why he was wearing them?
"Anyway, isn't this the Healer station?" he inquired as they approached the clean and white room of medical care. David stopped a little short of the door though. He didn't really want to go in, even though he was now pressing one of his palms to his pounding forehead.

Oliver pulled a hand through his ashblond curls as he headed back towards the healer station after fixing some minor spell injuries; mainly burns, down on level 3. He was going to update some patient files and see if he had any acute new cases to deal with before he did his usual round in the daycare.
Oliver paused at the sight of two men hovering outside the door to the healer station. They had some family resemblence, but the guy that was pressing his palm to his forehead quickly took his full attention. Was he in bad pain? Quickening his steps Oliver soon came to a stop in front of the man who looked like he was holding up his forehead. "Hello, is everything all right? Do you need some medical assistance?"
First off, if Luther and David read the man's mind and realized he thought they had family resemblance, they both prolly would barf [/ American slang]. Second, David needed to get his whiney butt into the clinic asap before he fainted again. "Yes. We're here so why did you stop," he didn't really ask, just put a flat hand on his cousin's back and wanted to gently push him forward when a man (nurse/healer??) rushed towards them.
What a great service.
"Hi, yes. So, David here was found on the floor in-- uh, the library, and he thought he was sleeping but now his head is pounding. As you can see." Luther's eyes didn't leave David's face while he explained to the man. "It would be swell if you could give him a check-up..." Maybe extract something from his body that made him less annoying, too, tuvm.

David didn't answer Luther. His head was really pounding now and he had started grinding his teeth, as though this would help distract him from the pain in his temple.
"I have a headache," he stated bluntly to the Healer, closing one eye now in case that made it better. "Can you make my headache go away?"
FYI, that headache's name was Luther... only joking. David knew he'd better not say anything else negative. He should probably be grateful that Luther had found him and not someone else. He still had questions for his cousin, like how long had he been sleeping there, and was he going to report this to their boss.
But first, could the healer guide him to a chair or something because he was squinting and seeing very poorly and feeling like sleeping again....

Oliver looked from one man to the other as they filled him on what had been going. He doubted that the 'library' was really where the injured man had been found sleeping, but he kept his thoughts to himself as he locked eyes with the injured man. He was a professoional healer out to his fingertips. "Right, let’s go you into the healer station and check you up properly on a bed, where you can lie down. That headache seems a bit worrying to me. If you take your hand down from your head I can try and do something about your headache out here, before I fetch you a potion." Stepping closer to the man Oliver reached out to take a hold of the man’s left arm since he looked like he was going to topple over any minute now. To his friend he said "Will you steady him from the right while I take the left as we lead him inside?"
Scottie had a full cup of coffee. Like, completely full. He had just made it, and he was on his way to relieve whoever was currently on duty checking people in. You know, the job he hated every day.
Stop saying you hate it. It makes you hate it, more, bro... He thought to himself as he passed by the front of the healing station...room...place. Whatever it was. He became distracted by a passing visitor with a large large LARGE plant delivery, eyeing it carefully, and suddenly he was running into a wall that he had been SURE had NOT been there a second ago, and he had hot coffee alllllllll down his front and on the floor.
"Merlins' BACKSIDE!" he yelped, springing into cleaning-up action as he attempted to use his wand to quickly clean up the wet floor. He didn't want to be the cause of anyone slipping, but he supposed that if anyone were to slip here at least they'd be right in front of the bloody healer area.

You know that thing where you feel secondhand embarrassment for other people so strongly that you actually cringe? Well Emilia was experiencing that right now. And she thought she'd been having a morning. She should really just pretend she hadn't seen, right? Only the guy had clearly scalded himself and made a mess of the pristine healer station and the last thing the guy needed was to be reprimanded for it. She couldn't just leave. She had to help.
"If you're going to burn yourself, I suppose it's lucky to do it here." She offered the familiar face from law enforcement a sympathetic smile and removed her wand from its holster, already cleaning the spots he'd missed. "Are you alright?"

"I was just thinking the same thing!" he said with a small grin without thinking - because if he HAD been thinking, he would have blushed and tried to duck into the healing station to hide - but it spurted out without much though. His cheeks brightened with redness.
Yikes.
Okay.
Someone had seen his catastrophe, and he had been GOOFILY smiling a second ago, and his entire world was clearly over now. He would never ever live this down in his head until he panicked about something else tomorrow and forgot about this. Relax. He could hear Logan's voice in his head. He did miss his brother sometimes, okay?
"I'm fine, yes. It's just hot coffee. I've been injured by worse, thankfully. If the worst injury I've ever sustained was hot coffee, I've lived a pretty boring life." Scottie was lying because he did, in fact, live a boring life according to him. Or was it...? Because sometimes it didn't feel boring. Maybe his LIFE wasn't boring, but he was. BUT that made his brain hurt, and he was suddenly very concerned he was boring.
WAS HE?!
"So uh...did you...see....my entire kerfuffle?"

Honestly, Emilia had experienced her fair share of public embarrassment, so she understood and was more than willing to forget this had ever happened. He didn't have to worry about that.
"Boring but safe, which isn't necessarily a bad thing." She'd seen things since starting her job here that made her think boring wasn't so bad at all, especially considering some of the alternatives. "But I'm glad you're okay."
"I did, yeah." She smiled a bit. "Don't think anyone else did, if that helps? Could've been worse." Goldwasser could've seen it. Emilia could only imagine what he might say.

Boring but safe. Sounded like his life motto. "Sometimes you need a little danger to grow, I guess. I wish I liked taking my own life advice." He shrugged and felt himself growing more at ease. This woman WAS in his department, after all, and so he was more familiar with her than most other colleagues here at the ministry, he supposed. He looked at his cup to see if he had any coffee left.
Alas, he did not.
Which meant he needed more. LE SIGH.
Yikes. She had seen it, and if his face was red before, it was waaaaaaay redder now. "Thank Merlin for that." He ruffled his hair awkwardly and looked anywhere but at her. "I don't know if I've ever officially introduced myself, but I'm Scotti- Scott Ferguson," he held out his hand for her to shake.

Jaw tightly clenched, and with brows furrowed in concentration, the doors to the Healer station flung open with a sudden bang as River emerged from the corridor and into the Ministry's small infirmary levitating a stretcher with a barely breathing ministry employee. With a flourish of his wand, an empty medical bay opened up, and readied itself to receive its patient; a charm he'd invented over time due to the absence of extra hands on deck, unlike in St. Mungo's.
"Please wait here," he said to the woman who was with them, as River carefully levitated the man onto the bed, and closed the door of the medical bay to give them privacy. A flick of his wand, and he was able to summon the man's identification card; Kevin Hirase."Mr. Hirase, you're in the Healer Station now, I'll go ahead and tend to your wounds. It might sting a bit, but I need to you to stay with me," Again, like clockwork, River proceeded with the standard protocols. A wand tap on Kevin's robes, and it transformed itself into a clean set of patient pyjamas, after which, medical paraphernalia came to life as it gently attached its ends onto Kevin, helping River monitor his vitals. And it didn't look good. Everything was dangerously low.
River could not help but feel as if it was back in the triage again in St. Mungo's where he was summoned. It was always a race against time, and this was exactly why he never fancied the Emergency Ward of the institution. While Kevin was busy fighting for his life, River continued his work, summoning different supplies from the nearby cupboard, double-checking every thing before he administered it to his patient. First was the Blood Replenishing Potion to immediately kickstart the man's liver, and then the Calming Draught next to help him relax and breathe easier. With River's determination to get this man out of death's grip, the Healer was ready to fight any kind of protest from his patient. Although, it shouldn't be much of a task, seeing that he was barely hanging on.
