Having welcomed Jonathan with a nod as the man entered and sat beside him, the smell of coffee wafting over, causing him to refrain from making a face, Jordan waited patiently for the meeting to begin. Luckily... he didn't have all that long to wait.

Unfolding his arms and folding them the other way, Jordan kept his professional face on at all times. He regarded Bella with intense interest as she spoke of an announcement they'd all love to hear. And Jordan was not disappointed after that build-up.

Giving an approving nod, the man kept his face totally straight as he watched for any other reactions in the room. It all seemed very...

Cool.

And he was looking forward to the work. Jordan loved him some work.

Laura laughed. "Oh, Craig had me worried there," she said, thankful her blonde hair could cover her reddening ears. She had thought she was on time.

Laura put her quill to the parchment she had laying in front of her and wrote Quidditch World Cup in nice big letters at the top. She did a slight double-take. Quidditch World Cup?! We were hosting the Quidditch World Cup?! Laura may have been a Muggle-born witch, but she did love Quidditch. This. Was. Amazing!

John had been hiding in the corner while he watched everyone file into their seats, it didn't take long for everyone to find a chair but it took long enough for him to think of several other things that he could have been doing at that point in time, one of which was getting an ice cream with that lady at level 1 called Sarah or looking for his son in Diagon Alley but instead he had a meeting that was apparently important and since he liked his job and took it very seriously John now sat in the conference room of Level 6 with all of his friends and workmates.

Taking a sip from the glass of water John listened as the meeting finaly started, 'at last we will be getting some important work that actually means something' he thought to himself as the Department head told them that the ministry was chosen to host some sort of famous event but she was taking too long to tell them what it was. Breathing deeper John was getting really tense it was like the suspense really was killing him yet it wasn't and he was just overreacting.. As usual.

Then she said it, the one thing that would make Johns year, The Quidditch Cup. "Wow" was all he could say before his head snapped into place "That is pretty amazing" he continued as he went back in a daze but still couldn't wait to get planning this one. This could be the big thing that could lift him up in the world to a higher position. Maybe he should try get a lot to do "I'm willing to do anything that needs to be done" he volunteered knowing that everyone must have thought he was crazy in asking for more work even if it was to sort out such an amazing event.

Luriken sipped his coffee and listened to her speech, the ministry didn't seem to do much with his department and every now and then they got odd letters and complaints nothing out of the ordinary. Why would she be calling a meeting? Were they firing? No he didn't think so, it was something else somethin-

Luriken moved the coffee from his mouth and is lop sided smile went up. This was perfect, the Quidditch World Cup. He'd never been to one but now, he'd be at the heart of one. He -Luriken who never smile, who never seemed happy- was beaming in his seat. Setting his coffee mug down he laced his fingrs togther and got his cool back. But not by much, a smile seemed plastered on his face, he loved quidditch, he played a beater at Hogwarts, which was quite perfect for him.

Luriken sat further up in his seat waiting for assignments, his department probably wouldn't get much bbut anyting was fine.

Pleased with the employees' positive reactions, Bella cleared her throat once again and proceeded with the meeting. She pulled a stack of papers from her pink briefcase and began distributing them to each and every employee. "The following memo is a brief outline of what's expected of the Department of Magical Transportation. Please read it carefully, and if you have any questions or comments, please don't hesitate to ask," she said. "As soon as this meeting adjourns, you'll begin meeting and planning within your division. Remember to take note of the deadline at the top. In order to get everything done on time, we need to make sure we meet our deadlines."

OOC: Please do not create any additional threads without contacting me first. There are other departments working on similar assignments, so we need to make sure someone else won't also be creating the same thread. Just focusing on planning will be good for now. Also, Department of Maintenance and Security (as well as a few other departments, I believe) will be providing security in these areas, as well. Any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Looking rather pleased with himself as a memo ended up before him, Jordan quickly scanned through every division's task. Ooooh... that portkey one looked fun! But this was business, not fun.

So, like, yeah and stuff.

According to the memo, whereas the other divisions hade to deal with the main arrival area (where the world cup would be held) and the places these people travelled from, Jordan and his division wouldn't be working as much with all those busy peoples with the main attraction, but they had more to be monitoring, in a much wider area.

Ahhhh, nothing made Jordan smile like a fresh new task. He looked up at Bella and tilted his head slightly to the side, not quite daring to ask if they were free to go yet.

Armen read through the memo that Bella had handed to him and every other employee in the room. As soon as he had finished reading it he had underlined important dates and had already stated making notes or ideas next to his Division's part. He already had some plans about how to do things. He would share these with his employees when the meeting was over.

He smiled at Bella and then said proudly. "I'm sure with all the great man-power we have in this Department," he said looking around at all the great workers gathered in the room. "I believe we will be able to pull this thing off!" he ended with a grin.

Oceana read the memo and smirked she would certainly be looking forward to this, she folded the paper up and put it in her pocket and looked around the room there were so many people here who she didn't know. i'll have to get to know them better she thought.

Oceana watched Armen look excited about his involvment in the world cup and she sat back and her mind began to wander about the work involved.

...Sweet Sensations didn't realize how quickly she would be put at task. With a slight quiver of her lip, she raised her hand. She tood in front of her peers and cleared her throat, "Ma'am, this may be premature, but can you tell us anything about the rumor of Snicklebottoms trying to sneak through the floo network? I heard they like to cling onto the end threads of the broomstick, then drop off just as they've gotten inside. I heard they are quite pesky. Have I heard correctly? I may have just the potion for the little buggers, but will graciously wait your reply."
Sweet Sensations stepped back into her spot

Craig read over the memo thoroughly. He couldn't be more excited. He would be dealing with all the player and the Ministers.

Perhaps his new little invention would actually come into good use. "Do we know where exactly they're planning on setting it up in England? It would give us an idea with what kind of terrain we're dealing with?"

ooc: also, do we know who the two final teams will be playing?

Hearing that Armen was obviously excited about the upcoming events and ready to get started, Bella flashed the division head a warm smile. She then turned her attention towards one of her newest employees, Sweet Sensations, if she remembered correctly. As she listened to the woman talk, her eyebrows wrinkled in confusion and in deep thought. Usually she was the first person to hear of difficulties involving any method of magical transportation. She actually had heard nothing of the difficulties the woman spoke of.

"I've actually not heard anything involving that, but I'll send around a few memos and see if I can get any details. Craig Wickham," she said, nodding in Craig's direction, "is the division head of the floo network. You can be assured that if anything of the sort is going on, Craig will take care of it. Thank you for bringing up your concern, though." She smiled politely at the woman, happy to see that one of her newest employees seemed eager and ready to go.

When Craig spoke up, Bella turned her attention to him and shook her head. "Actually, the locating of the area will be done through the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes. The Muggle Worthy Excuse Committee on that level is responsible for coming up with an area for us to hold the event. As soon as they've determined an area, though, I'll get that information to you," she replied, with a smile.

"If there are any further questions, please send me a memo or drop by my office. I'm always there if any of you need me for any reason. For now, please break off by divisions and begin planning your parts of the event. I'll drop in from time to time and see if my assistance is needed in any way," she said, standing up and addressing the room as a whole. "You're dismissed, team!"

OOC: As far as I know, the teams haven't been determined yet.

Nodding to himself, Jordan, ever the silent ninja man, flashed Bella a small smiled as he picked up his memo and stepped away from his chair, rubbing the back of his neck as he wondered how this was going to work.

Setting off immediately for his division, Jordan wondered vaguely if that Sweet Sensations woman was the same one about to join to Broom Regulatory Control.

He sure hoped so.

Armen stood up from his chair as he was dismissed and gave a few quick waves and grins to Madison, Craig and Jordan. As he walked toward the door her past Bella. He smiled and clapped her on the arm shoftly and said, "Off to work on it Boss!" jokingly and he opened the door to head to his office to start adressing his, hopefully following, employees. He smiled and waved to Oceana before he left.

Angelica must have dozed off in the middle of the meeting because when she came too the meeting was over and people were starting to leave. Taking up the breif memo on her lap she read it through making goggling eyes at the word 'Quidditch world championship'. Just the word quidditch and world championship reeked problems and distasters. Angelica could though not help but feel excited and geered up to prepare for the big event. Looking over at Bella she cleared her throat saying "If you need help with anything you know where I work. I don't mind pitching in if you need an extra pair of hands or brain for that matter." The last was added with a smile and a wink of her eyes.

after daydreaming for, what seemed like a large chunk of minutes, Sweet realized the meeting had ended. Swiftly, she fled for the Broom Regulatory Control, to find out what the next objective was.

She crossed her fingers that Jordan was there... he surely was kind and seemed that he would be a great help to her....

off she went

Lilly walked into the meeting for all level 6 employees only to realize that she was late. oh boy was she late. everyone was there and assignments were already being given out. "i am so sorry Anna i didn't realize the meeting was going on until just now and i got my times all mixed up. i hope i didn't miss anything. so sorry." she spuddered out in hopes that she wouldn't get fired

Having just sent out a memo to all employees of her department, Bella gathered her briefcase (her usual pink one, of course) and made way into the conference room. She wanted to make sure to arrive before her employees did, and so far, it looked like she'd accomplish that. Smoothing out her skirt, she took a seat in the chair at the far end of the table, opened her briefcase, and took out a quill and a few pieces of parchment. Now the only thing missing were her employees.

Madison walked into conference room with a black notebook in hand. It contained all the notes she took during their meeting within her department. As soon as she walked through the door, she noticed Bella...and she was the second person.

"Hello, Bella," she greeted with a smile as she walked over to grab a cup of tea. Constantine got her into drinking more and more tea since neither of them liked coffee. She poured a small cup, added what she needed and then walked over and took a seat.

Craig walked in with his pouch in hand. It was the only real idea tht was thrown out there, but at least in was something. He was completely happy with it and over the last couple of days made some adjustments that made it even better. "Good day, Miss Greingoth," Craig said with a nod as he took a seat.

Lilly walked into the conference room. she was a little nervous. her department hadn't really gotten as far as she would have liked. she walked over to a far seat and sat down. there was only about 3 people there so at least she wasn't late. "hello everyone." she said to the room at large.

Angelica had just gotten back from visting the Law Enforcement department when she had gotten the owl from Bella about the inter-department meeting. With her big notepad under her arm along with quill and ink the blond, now noticeably pregnant woman entered the conference room. Angelica noted that she wasn't the first there so she greeted them all in turn saying "Hello, Bella, Madison, Craig and Lilly, right?" moving over to take a seat next to Craig and Madison she hoped that meeting wouldn't take too long since her back was aching quite badly.

Armen walked into the large Conference Room excited about the day's meeting. He grinned brightly to his Department Head and his fellow Division Heads. He then walked over to the large table and sat down his breifcase on the table in front of him. He pulled out a large folder and then placed the case on the floor beside him. "Hello Mrs. Bella, Madison, and Craig." he greated them warmly. He was so happy he liked the people he worked with so well. He also smiled and said hello to Angelica from Apparation and Lily from Broom Control.

He rubbed his hands together and laughed. "Well this will be exciting won't it?"

Madison spoke to Armen and the others that walked into the room with a simple hello but her eyes were more focused on Angelica with a pitiful look on her face. She knew EXACTLY what Angelica was going through. "Would you like something to drink," she asked in a gentle voice.

" Well, I checked with all the departments" J J. Starr told Bella." This was my assignment and I completed it" " Joe Jon Montcenaggio told bella. " The portkeys have been chosen" J. J. Starr explained to Bella. The Floo Network and The Apparitions office are on top of everything for the Quidditch World Cup" Joe Jon Montcenaggio said to Bella. " When I talked to the departments, they said they were finished with their assignments " J.J. said to Bella.
" My other assignments included helping with port key ideas, which some of mine were consider being used" Joe Jon Montcenaggio told everyone and Bella. I finished my assignment of making a poster for the World Quidditch Cup explaining about it and where Ministry employees and their families" could get tickets from the Ministry and it will be placed in The Atrium "J.J. told Bella and everyone in the meeting.
This was the job ofthe Magical Transportation liason, making sure everything for the upcoming World Quidditch Cup was going smotthly.

Angelica turned and gave Madison a weak but warm smile saying "Oh, if it's not much trouble then a cup of tea, would be nice." Massaging her back with her left hand she added "How did you cope with all this backpain? It feels like a herd of elephants are trumming on my back." Angelica was glad that Madison knew what she was going through and knew exactly how she felt.
