Micah sat eagerly, awaiting his one and only employee which he had barely known. All his other employees has mysteriously vanished. Sighing, he prodded out some ink, a quill, and a professional looking piece of Parchment. Not noticing Lorraine's entrance at first, he later held his head up high and began to fake his smile. "Good Afternoon, Lorraine."

Shianna watched as the room began to slowly fill up. When she had first came in, the room was emty, and she was the only one. Now the room was slowly but surely filling up.

Shianna bowed her head, and just stared at the emty page in her journal. She really didnt know anyone due to the fact that she was new, and was really, quite shy.

Madison walked into the room for a meeting that was announced not long ago. She took her seat and relaxed in the chair a bit before the meeting started.

Lorraine watched as the room began to fill up, but there were still several people missing. No matter; there was still a good majority of the department here already it seemed and the others would have to catch up when they arrived. "I think we'll get started now," the brunette spoke, as she stood up with her hands resting lightly on the stack of papers.

"Welcome everyone. For those who don't know, my name is Lorraine Brothmeister, but prefer you all to just call me Lorraine," she told the group, her hazel eyes scanning the employee's faces. "I have gathered you all here today to discuss one main matter. The upcoming International Wizarding Conference. We need ensure that they are able to safely arrive in our quarters at the appropriate times, which means that those traveling by Portkey need to have an appropriate object given the Minister's respective country," she gave a meaningful look towards her Portkey officials. "Those traveling by Floo Network will need the networks open and make sure to have a ready supply of Floo powder - are you awake Mr Caster?" The Dept Head interrupted, as she eyed the Floo Division head carefully before continuing, "You may need to make some, as I am certain some Ministries may wish to purchase our brand."

Pausing, Lorraine checked her agenda for the other things on it. "There has been some complaints about faulty and unsafe brooms being sold out of Norway. It is vital these complaints are addressed as soon as possible, and I trust that you, Kyra, and your staff will handle this appropriately."

"Apparition will need to be brainstorming about how to include lessons within the school and will need to develop some sort of presentation for the conference," Lorraine said quite fluently, as though well rehearsed. "I motion to put all further testing of applicants on hold until after the conference, once the bit with the curriculum is sorted out."

"There is one last issue to be addressed, which is that of Flying Carpet Laws. I have had Kyra leave a note that she was interested in working on this assignment. Do I have any other volunteers?" she asked, surveying each of her employees. "Or any questions at all about anything I have just said?"

Madison listened to Lorraine speak about the topics of today's concerns and what was coming up within the Ministry for the future. Everything sounded promising and seemed as though the department was about to become busy with things that need to be done appropriately and in a timely fashion.

Then to add along with the meeting, Madison heard the announcement of volunteers needed for the help with flying carpets. She had read the post upon the bulletin board and was going to respond after the meeting but instead it was made to where she could volunteer her time at this moment. She raised her hand, as if she were in school. "Lorraine I would like to volunteer to help out with the laws of flying carpets if that is okay," she spoke up loud enough to be heard.

Kyra just overheard one of the employees volunteer to help with the assignment regarding the Flying Carpet Laws. She looked over to see if you knew who had just spoke up, and unfortunately she did not. She smiled at the lady and made a mental note to introduce herself to her the first chance she had.

He nodded to the bit about Portkeys. Most of the rest of it made little sense to him, after all he wasnt an expert in all the departments. He just liked Portkeys. He thought that as soon as the meeting was over he should speak to the others involved from his department and try to get things sorted quickly.

Anita raised a hand.

"Lorraine, I'd like to do the assignment regarding Flying Carpet Laws if that's okay," she said slightly nervously.

As Lorraine waited for a response to her offer about the flying carpets task or any questions about tasks she mentioned, she looked around the room and a thought occurred to her. Her thoughts were interrupted as her gaze fell upon a floo network employee who she had talked to not long ago.

She waited for one more to volunteer, before speaking. "Excellent. Madison and Anita, you two will be working with Kyra on Flying Carpet Laws. You three can convene in here or one of your offices, perhaps Kyra's in the Broom Regulation Office, to discuss how you want to go about this. But I would first recommend contacting Ms Evaline Bass, to determine who from International Cooperation will be working on this. Make sure to let me know when and where your meeting will be with them, as I would like to be in attendance."

Finishing up with that order of business, paused and took a sip of her coffee before continuing. "I've just realized something. Most of you probably do not know each other, so before we end, I would like for everyone to go around and say their name, division they work for, and what they like most about magical transportation." As she concluded with her request, the dept head sat down and patiently waited for the introductions to take place.

Anita nodded.

"I am happy to go along with whatever Kyra and Madison would like regaridng which room we will be convening in," she said.

Anita stood up to introduce herself.

"Hello everyone. My name's Anita Volt and I work in the Broom Regulation department. I like the excitement of working here. From brooms to Floo Powder, there is plenty of subjects, I suppose you can say, to talk about. I like it when I read about a new broom being made and I know that I will be helping to make sure that whoever buys the new broom has not wasted their money on a new product. Goodness, said more than I thought," she said.

She sat back down.

Madison gave a nod of her head as Lorraine spoke of the directions for the flying carpet laws. It was something that might take a while but it was worth it just to keep busy. She looked to the lady named Anita that spoke up after her knowing that they were going to be working together. Now if she just knew who Kyra was she would be on her way to helping with a new project and meeting new people at that.

And then she heard of another thing that was going to happen before everyone left the meeting, an introduction of themselves. Madison sighed as she was one that was shy but not at meeting people on her own, but introducing and speaking of work background was a completely different thing. She stood up, not knowing whether to stand or not, but coming to the conclusion that standing would make it easier and began her introduction.

"Hello," she said as she gave a small wave then folded her hands in front of her. "My name is Madison Myers and I am in the Floo Network. I'm fairly new to the department but my mother, Elizabeth, worked for years in the very same department until last year. She is now retired and working in the garden at home." She really didn't want to go into what she liked about the department until she learned a little more and became slightly busier in future days, weeks, months...whatever it took.

Micah nodded his head, writing down the part of 'Apparition'. He observed the rest of the employees around and listened intently on those who wished to speak.

Kyra was eager to introduce herself to her new coworkers. She was grateful that Lorraine suggested such an exercise.

After Madison finished speaking, she cleared her throat quietly and stood up.

"Good Afternoon everyone. My name is Kyra Jennings and I am the new Division Head of Broom Regulatory Control Office. I am really excited to have the opportunity to work here. My little sister, Becca Malison, works here as well, in the Accidental Magic Reversal Squad and she has repeatedly told me what a fantastic experience it is. I'm so glad to meet all of you." she said.

She gave the small group one of her brightest smiles and sat back down in her chair.

Madison smiled as the next person who stood up was Kyra, the one she was going to be working with on the magical carpet laws. It was nice to place a face with a name and it seemed as though it would be something quite interesting to work on, considering the past laws for magical carpets within the Ministry for so many years. She sat back in her chair and folded her hands in her lap, waiting for the rest of the employees to speak up.

Winter looked up suddenly... Uhum, yes... He was awake. Just. He gave his division head a little smile, then made a mental note to look more awake, instead of just being awake.
As the three women introduced themselves, he couldn't help but to wonder where all of the ministers would be coming from. It certainly was nice to be one of the most important divisions when it came to international conferences.
Actually, all he really needed to remember was that he needed to make some more Floo powder. Or at least assign people to do it. He stood up, adjusted his collar, and began.
"Hi, uhum, I'm Winter Caster, the relatively new head of the Floo Department," He paused, his brain working through the slightly more sane facts about himself, "I started off as a Portkey worker, but was then, obviously, promoted to my current occupation. My twin sister, Layla works in the Department Of Mysteries, she and I tend to compare work stories, and the state of the coffee. It's really quite fun working here," Winter then stopped again, for fear that nobody would really take him seriously. "Well, it's enjoyable working and getting to know your employees." Now what? With a slight grin, he sat back down.

After a man named Winter Caster introduced himself, he felt best that it was his turn now. He cleared his throat a little loudly and gave a fake smile to everyone.

Micah stood up and said, "Good Afternoon everyone! I go by the name of Micah Yuba Nettings, and I am the Division Head for the Apparition Test Center. I came from the Office of Apparition Approval and Mishandling at the Ministry of Korea in the executive branch. I hope we all get along in the fine working environment of level 6."

He nodded his head with his fake smile, then sat down. He thought his introduction was fairly well.

He realised that he actually didnt know many people from this department. Magical Education, yeah. He knew most of the employees there. But not here. He guessed it was probably his turn and stood up "Hello everyone, I'm Blaze Phoenix, Division head of the Portkey Office." He smiled at his colleagues. "I have to say I agree with Winter about the state of coffee." He laughed and smiled at Winter "The main reason I wanted to work here was because I always have been interested in the creation of Portkeys. Now I understand them they still intrigue me. It's a pleasure to work with you all." He smiled and decided he had probably said more than enough already and sat down.

As Blaze finished he realized that he was the next person at the table so he stood up. "Hey everyone. I'm Filius Charming, it's more of a description than a name," he said and winked at a fellow female colleague. "I work in the Portkey office and I love it there. I get to meet great people and I enjoy working with them." As he finished he sat down and made a mental note to go to the canteen after this. He was starting to get hungry.

Suddenly Beth realized that she was next. She stood up while brushing the hair out of her eyes.

"Hi! My name is Beth Wends and I work in the floo network authority. I am so exciated to be working here and in this department. I hope we can all become good friends!"

As Beth sat down she realized she might have been to perky but she didn't mind this was her first job. Just as long as she didn't scar anyone off.

Lorraine listened as each of them took turns and introduced themselves. Perfect; they all knew each other now. Except one comment caught her attention. "Thank you all for those lovely introductions; very informative. But ... Mr Caster? Mr Phoenix? Would you two care to elaborate on the state of the coffee? If there was a problem with it then you should have let me know..." The brunette suggested casually, as she had no idea about coffee since she drank tea.

Madison's eyes glanced up to where the Head of the Department was speaking to the two gentlemen and their views of the coffee. This was an interesting topic as it was amazing how prioritized things were within the Ministry. She had to make a mental note to talk to Caleum about how the Ministry Professors where working out. If it was anything like here, they weren't

After hearing about the coffee issue, he decided to step in. "Actually I've been having trouble with the Ministry's coffee as well, at least level 6's. I've talked with the department head for Magical Maintenance and it seems that her coffee is fine. I've been surviving on my own coffee these past months," he reported to Lorraine.

Winter couldn't help but to grin. People were actually listening to himself and Mr Phoenix about the coffee issue. "Well, uhum, the coffee sort of tastes like cardboard. In the mildest way possible." He said, the grin still on his face, "Myself and Mr Phoenix were getting through lots of sugar to be honest."

He nodded "It certainly does taste like cardboard... I havent heard that the other level's have a problem with it either..." He smiled at Winter when he mentioned the sugar. "And yes, the sugar does seem to take the edge off the coffee..." He smiled. "I think that our level may be getting some sort of different coffee to the other levels... the coffee in the cafeteria is fine. I've been going there to get my coffee recently."

Anita raised her hand and spoke.

"When I returned to work from attending the Minister for Magic's wedding the Broom Regulation department was in a complete mess. Has the reason as to why it went from pretty tidy to windows smashed and objects being now found a few feet away from where they were originally been established? I think it might be...a magical creature or something," she said to mainly Lorraine.
