Becca smiled "That's fine, I understand" she nodded and then looked at Mei Lin a little surprisedly as she said it was an Asscher cut "Wow, erm, yes, it is. How did you know that?" Becca asked as she studied Mei Lin's face.

"I wanted to be a jeweller when I was younger, I even did an apprenticeship at one point. During that time I learnt about the cuts, settings and the techniques used to create jewellery. That and because the Asscher cut is one of my favourites so I'd know it anywhere." Mei Lin shared.

"Oh, and you never pursued the career?" Becca looked up at her interestedly "I'm glad you like it" she smiled "I love it, the hall of mirrors effect really does catch my eye" she nodded.

"My parents didn't think it was an appropriate career. A job at the ministry is more respectable and they can tell people where I work with their heads held high." she said with a slight shrug. It was normal for her and her parents beliefs nearly always came above her own.

"Oh, so you do what your parents want you to do?" Becca understood, her parents had always wanted her to work on level two. Now Becca had achieved that. She smiled at Mei Lin and then looked at her ring again "I really do love it" she sighed happily.

"Mostly, unless I completely disagree with them. Even then they have their ways of getting me to agree." Like threatening her sister's life if she didn't go along with this crazy plan of theirs to turn Ruby. If it weren't for them threatening Sakura Mei Lin would have been out from under her parents thumbs years ago. As it was she couldn't leave Sakura alone.

Richard left the two witches to talk amongst themselves. He bent down behind the desk and pulled out a ring of keys. From the ring he found a small brass key which he inserted in a keyhole of a drawer. He pulled open the drawer and a few purple folders. He stood up straight again and laid them out on the desk and pulled one or two pieces of parchment out. One was a request for a young wizard to have a weeks worth of work experience at the ministry. Richard pulled a quill towards him and signed the bottom. He pulled his wand from the inside pocket of his jacket and tapped the parchment. A red circle appeared at the top of the page signifying that it had been approved. He put that back in its folder. He brought out papers from the other folder and began flicking through. It was a list of people who didn't work for the ministry yet had been there that year. The pile of papers was rather thick and names were squeezed into the margins and any other piece of paper they could fit on with dates and departments next to them. He saw recently that people who he had amitted only a few hours ago had been magically recorded in here. He had to check it regularly as it wasn't the most reliable recorder of information. Several times it had taken it upon itself to write that someone had visited the 'Dept of Axes and Cats' instead of 'Dept of Accidents and Catastrophes'. He checked the last few pages and and the only correction he had to make with his wand was changing 'Dept of Miseries' to 'Dept of Mysteries'. He put the files and pages away in the drawer again and locked them away.
He decided to stretch his legs a little and began to have a brief stroll around the atrium.

Becca nodded to show she understood what Mei Lin was saying "I take it your parents are proud of who they are and like to keep their reputation intact" she commented.

Richard had just walked a short distance from the desk when a paper aeroplane flew towards him. He grabbed it from the air and saw his name written along the wing. He quickly unfurled it. His request to transfer departments had been approved! He had made it into the Obliviators. He pocketed the note and turned back to the desk. He sighed as he realised that he'd no longer be greeting people in and out of the Ministry. He wanted a transfer but he thought he'd probably miss the security desk a bit.
He bent down and pulled out his wand and tapped the desk. A door opened, his cupboard, he pulled out a few items such as paperwork, a box of quills and a few other things all in a large cardboard box. He was sure he would see Edward around soon and he'd explain the transfer to him then. His shift on the desk was supposed end anytime now so someone would sure to be along. He hoisted the box into his arms and pointed his wand at the door which shut magically behind him.

Edilson walked over to the Magical Security Desk fashioning a confused look on his face as he wasn't sure if the employees also needed to check-in.

Before heading for the desk, Edi walked up to the two ladies who looked quite immersed in their conversation. "Excuse Me?" He said to both of them. "It's my first day at work & I am a bit confused. Are the employees also required to check-in here?" He asked flashing his most gorgeous smile..

After seen a guys was standing in front of the Security desk, unattended for a long time, Brian paused from what he was doing and took a walk towards the Desk from his office. An advantage of Glass door.

When he approached the spot he smiled at him, "Yes. May I help you?" he asked him, noticed his Ministry Staff ID.

Looking up as someone spoke to her and Mei Lin, Becca smiled back at him "Yes?" she then listened to him "Erm, to be honest, I'm not too sure, this isn't my level.. I'm up on level two" she nodded, noticing his smile.

As she was about to tell the new guy that Brian would probably be able to help, Becca smiled happily "Bri" she grinned at him before explaining for the new guy "He's new here, wants to know if he has to check in or not" she shrugged and then leant on the desk while waiting for Brian's answer.

Wyatt noticed Brian walk by and he quickly got up and followed Brian quickly and said to Brian "Dont worry Brian I will be able to help them I will also let Ed know that there was nobody out here to help these nice people with any assistance." Wyatt grabbed a bell from under the desk and placed it on the counter and then put a note next to it saying:

Then Wyatt turned to the nice people and sayed "Hello. My names is Wyatt and how may I be of assistance on this very fine day?"

Brian smirked at the beautiful lady of level two. The lady in command. Shrewd, smart. Oh..stop it Brian. Ofcourse this's not your office but the rules fits for everywhere around this level. Your level Okay. Put full stop. "I see. So what are you doing here Miss?" he raised his brow at her, noticed her leant on the desk. Oh..No. No Becs. No leaning.

As his left hand in his pocket securely. The word safely would be suitable here. He turned to Wyatt, one of his staffs. "I was wondering where did you guys go for this much long time?" he slightly shook his head, and letting him deal the matter.

Glancing over as someone ruined her fun, Becca smiled "Hello Wyatt, nice name. This gentleman here wants to know if he has to check in before he starts work, and I've already got what I came here for" she beamed at Brian.

Seeing his ever present smirk, Becca smiled back at him "I'm here for you, I've got a surprise" she stood up properly and raised her eyebrows as if telling him it was a - you come with me now and nothing goes wrong - surprise. Well, she'd been planning this for weeks, choosing a day when she got off early. Thinking about the Leaky Cauldron and it's warm atmosphere, she'd decided to take him on a lunch date for once.

Wyatt turned to the gentlemen that is starting work here and said "We just need to get your information. First I will need your wand and then I will need your name and what department you will be working in. After I get your information I will make you a badge and then I will excort you to where you work since you do not know where it is I presume."

Seeing Wyatt inquiring the new Ministry staff, Brian gave him an approved nod. Then he turned to his fiancee and gave her a no-temptations kind of look. "Shall we move from here? YOu can tell whatever surprise you have then." he grinned, expecting something interesting by the way she smiled and looking at him.

Giggling at his no temptation look, Becca nodded "Of course, anything you want. Shall we?" she offered him her hand so she could lead him to where he needed to be.

Brian wish he could read her mind. What you have in your mind Becs? He was so curious. As usual. Always. He took her hand in his happily and walking down on the corrider, hoping that his staffs would be around and taking care of new visitors of ministry.

"Now..tell me, what surprise?" his voice echoed his mind. Curious and excited. Haha.

She smiled at him and tapped her nose gently as he asked her what surprise "Not here" she smiled "We've got somewhere to be" she grinned "We're going home to get ready first." she glanced at him to see what he said.

He noticed her actions. Tapping her nose, thinking. She was really really upto something. It wouldn't be a bad one obviously. She was only capable of doing good things. It was her strength and weakness both. He shook his head, smiling, "Okay. Your command my wish. So where you want to go?" he teased her as squeezed her hand softly.

She grinned and started to walk a little faster, gently pulling him along "We're going home, and then it's a surprise" she smiled. He would like this, it wouldn't be something totally new to him. It'd just be different. Very different.

"Home?" he stopped in mid-way. Baby, is it possible?! It was only afternoon and they had still few hours left to get home. ""Are you kidding Becs?" he raised his eyebrow, grinning, "Only after working hours. Okay?" he said convincingly.

She rolled her eyes and tugged his arm to get him moving again "No, we have to go home to get changed, you don't think I'm going to tell you the real surprise do you?" she giggled and pulled him again "Come on! I wanna get there while the weather is nice"

Aw. She seemed determined today about this thing. Surprise thing. What was the surprised surprise?! He squeezed his brain to find out atleast a hint. Hmm. But now she almost ordered him. Me and my weaknesses. Brain shook his head, "Okay, okay. I'm coming with you Ma'am." he playfully bowed at her, walking down to the entrance to get back to hom.

Surprise. He had no clue, still. Hehe.
