Matthew grimaced, "Ohh that's not good at all! What can I do to be of assistance?" Matthew thought back to when he had tried polyjuice potion, he had impersonated his brother Mark. Mark was really freaked out, it was completely worth being punished for all those years ago. But this situation was serious so he blocked those funny memories from his mind.


While Matthew was still in conversation with the Lima, he noticed his wife had decended from her 1st floor office. He flashed her a grin, but payed complete attention to what Lima was saying.

Piper made it to the office and noticed that most of the department was trying to help the woman with two heads. I see... Piper said as she examined the woman roughly. She had couple of ideas but she was keeping them for herself for now.

"Well, we would appreciate any brainstorming as to ways to help her. And we need to check out the potion that she made." It was great to see that he was wanting to help them out here. The more people there the better.

Then she noticed that he was looking at a woman who had appeared out of nowhere. Or so it would seem. "Hello there," she said greeting her.

And someone else was coming around too. Maybe she would be willing to help as well. She seemed curious about the woman with the two heads. Well, who wouldn't be. "Hello there. You want to help us try to fix this woman's problem?" She was so stoked to see that more people were coming.

Serena scowled. That really had put her in a bad mood - and so instead of the sarcastic and leadingly rude comments she'd made, she was now going to be outwardly rude. She had plenty of reason! She growled again, unable to speak due to the hand clamped over her mouth - so she bit it. Again.

But C.C didn't flinch. She merely smiled at Melanie, accompanied with an, 'I'm sorry about her. She's not usually that rude,' and a gentle flush of embarrassment on behalf of her other head. Which really was Serena's twin.

She turned to the girl as she returned, expression stony once more. The vial - that was the one thing needed now. With that (hopefully) Serena's head would be banished from C.C's body.

The prospect couldn't make her any happier. 'You can get rid of her now, can't you?' she asked eagerly, following the vial with her eyes. 'You can get her off my body and whatnot?' Oh, they'd best be able to. That was the whole reason she'd come here in the first place.

From the corner of her eye, she watched the first division head ... and what, to her, felt like hundreds more people enter. Great. Just great.

She heard C.C. Ask if they could cure her now. Poor woman must feel desperate and humiliated now. "We'll cure you, C.C. And Serena," she added as almost an afterthought. "And we have more help too." She tried to reassure both of them.

Abigail placed one hand on her hips as she let the others in the room talk amongst themselves, as she really didn't know when was the right time to jump back into the conversation. She waited for minutes and when Dora came back with the vial she got from C.C.'s house, she watched as she handed it to Melanie. Taking her hand off her hip, she waited for Melanie to talk and when she didn't, Abigail walked over to her and took the vial from her. "I can deal with this," she told her with a smile.

"Okay..." she finally spoke up for the first time in minutes. "C.C., I would like to know another thing about this polyjuice potion that might help us know why it didn't work." She paused for a moment as she glanced at Lima before turning back to the woman. "How long did you brew this stuff? Polyjuice potion should be brewed for no shorter than a month....or 31 days, however you want to look at it," she asked. There had to be a cause for this potion problem and Miss Weather was going to find it out. Even though she was running out of possibilities.

Matthew nodded, "Sure, no problem. I'll help as much as I can! Where is the woman now? Is she on our floor?"

Yes! Something inside leapt for joy at the affirmation that now she could be cured, and C.C couldn't help the ridiculous smile that broke out on her face. Oh, to have her own head again and just her own head! The bliss it would bring!

'How long did I brew it?' Great, back to questions: she prayed this was the last (or very, very close to the last). She frowned again as she returned to the same thoughtful state she'd been in with the questions earlier, tapping her chin to complete the effect.

'I gathered the ingredients two months ago. I started brewing it just over three weeks later.' She shrugged casually. 'I'm not sure how long it took me to make it, but it felt like a month, so ...' But then again her time scales weren't always correct. Yet he was certain this time.

Besides, she was going to be nothing but truthful. Maybe just a little elusive instead when the occasion called.

Which it didn't right now. 'A month,' she nodded confidently.

"I know it must be a bit nerve racking that we can't just wave our wands and fix you up straight away! But, if you will be patient with us we'll have you fixed up in no time," Dora told her, trying to ease her mind a bit. Then turning to the rest of the people in the room she said, "So our next step will be to break the potion down and pinpoint the problem, correct?" Dora smiled reassurinly at Serena and C.C. and waited for someone to answer

"Excellent. She's right over here," she said as she headed back to C.C. waiting for him to follow. Pointing at her would have been rude. Especially in her condition. "This is C.C. And Serena," she added so that he would know who the head was as well.

She was glad to see that the woman seemed to feel a bit better now. Then she realized that the woman didn't even know her name. Well, that wasn't good. "Oh, I'm Lima by the way." Now they were on a first name basis. "And this is Matthew," she added as she indicated her newest employee.

She then listened as C.C. told them that she had brewed it for a month.

"Yes, that's exactly it," she said at the woman who was waiting for approval.

"Hi Matthew, I'm Dora Lovegood, nice to meet you," said Dora smiling briefly before turning back to Lima, "Lima, why don't we get started now then, I have a cauldron here," she whipped her wand around and a cauldron appeared and she pulled a chair over toward it and sat down, ready to work. She waited for Lima and the others to join her and get started.

Smiling, Lima took the potion from Abs and headed over to the cauldron that Dora had set up. She opened up the stopper and poured it in.

"Okay, people. Let's all gather around and see what we can do here." She wanted everyone to try and get this done. Even C.C. and Serena were welcome to join.

Dora watched intently as Lima poured in the potion and hoped that they could figure out the mistake quickly enough and help poor Serena and C.C. " How long do you estimate this will take to break down and then to brew the antidote?" Dora asked to whomever was listening.

Matthew followed Lima over to the, for lack of better word, patient. When he was introduced to C.C. and Serena he quickly said," Hello" then got to thinking. He then moved over to the cauldron with everyone else.

A month. Abigail nodded towards C.C. as she responded to her question. If this woman was sure that she had brewed the potion for one month, then there had to be something wrong with one of the ingredients used. She start tapping her foot against the ground as she looked towards Lima, who had just taken the vial from her.

She followed her friend over to the cauldron her employee got for them and watched as Lima poured the potion inside of it. Gripping her wand, she pointed it at the cauldron and muttered the bluebell flames charm. A blue flame came out of her wand and landed on the desk in front of her. Placing her wand back in her pocket, she picked the flame up and placed it under the cauldron so it would heat up the ingredients and then they would be able to tell what was used in making this Polyjuice potion.

She saw Matthew and As join her and Dora at the cauldron and watched as And but a bluebell flame under the potion. Good. Heat would help break down the potion. But Dora had a good question.

"That's a good question. Not sure. Hopefully this potion will break down in a few minutes or so." She had no idea. She never had experience with something like this before. "Hopefully the antidote will be simple however. I mean.. the problem in the potion could be something rather small."

As she watched the potion start to heat up, she wished she had a better answer.

Abigail stared at the potion, which was doing NOTHING. She glanced down at her watch on her wrist and sighed, it's been 10 minutes and nothing has happened. As she began to pace around the cauldron, she started to think about how they would see what ingredients were used in the potion. Then, something hit her. "We are so dumb," she exclaimed as she stopped pacing and ran over to the cauldron. "Heating it up won't do anything." Why didn't she think about this before? She pulled her wand back out and pointed it at the cauldron, but then thought that she would need something to write on.

Not caring that she wasn't in her own office, she walked over to Lima's desk and started looking through the drawers to find some paper and a pen. Once she found them, she ran back over to the cauldron and placed the paper and pen down beside it. "Write down the ingredients when I say them, okay?" She addressed Lima before she did anything to the potion.

She raised her brow as Abs left them. Well, hopefully she knew what they were missing. 'cause standing in front of a boiling cauldron was starting to make her feel rather hot right now.

Though she did wonder why the woman was rummaging in her desk. That was not cool! She should have asked. But whatever. She kept silent and watched as she returned and placed a pen and paper by the cauldron. "Yes, ma'am!" she replied as she was then told to write down the ingredients when given to her.

Abigail smiled at Lima and then focused her attention back towards the cauldron. First, before she did anything, she needed to get rid of the blue flame that was warming up the potion. She gave her wand a little swish and the flame disappeared from sight. She lowered her wand for a moment, so she could glance at the potion inside of the cauldron. Why would anyone want to drinnk polyjuice potion? It looked DISGUSTING!

She shook her head and looked at C.C., who probably couldn't wait to be herself again. Giving the woman a smile, she finally lifted her wand and pointed it back at the cauldron. "Sperevelio," she said and when the potion started doing something funny, she lowered her wand and stepped towards it. It took the potion a few minutes before she could tell what ingredients were used.

When she was able to tell what ingredients were used, she told Lima. "Lacewing flies..." that hopefully were stewed for 21 days "...leeches, powdered bicorn horn, knotgrass, shredded Boomslang skin, and the hair of the Serena." When she was done, she stepped away from her cauldron and looked towards Lima.

When Abs put out the fire and performed the spell, she could have hit her head on the desk. Of course. Why had she been so stupid? And this was the reason why she was so bad at potions. Sigh. Maddox probably would have known this if he was here.

But anyway, she was supposed to be writing down the ingredients.. She picked up the pencil and started scribbling everything Abs told her. When she was done she looked up and said, "There isn't any Fluxweed here."

Hmm..

Matthew watched this all take place, he was impressed by another woman who took action. How could they forget to do something so simple? Well potions had never been his specialty so he supposed it was understandable. He questioned, "Is there some sort of antidote now that we know that she did not put one of the ingredients correctly into the potion? I am not all that great at potions but if she took the correctly brewed polyjuice potion would that reverse the effects and once the potion wears off she'd be back to normal?"

"Exactly," Abigail exclaimed with a smile on her face as she pointed towards Lima. "There's no fluxweed. Great job, Lima!" She knew that something was wrong in this situation and they just found it out. Yet, didn't that girl mention putting fluxweed in the potion? Hmm. Well, she could have thought she put fluxweed in the potion and didn't, because there was NO fluxweed in that cauldron.

She turned towards the man that had introduced himself as Matthew Weston to Lima not too long ago. "There's has to be an antidote for something like this," she answered. Honestly, she didn't know what it was, but if you gave Miss Weather a few minutes to think, she will think of something. She nodded in response to the man's question. "You are correct, Mr. Weston. If she did brewed this correctly time would reverse the effects," she told him. "Sadly, this potion wasn't brewed correctly."

Darn how had Dora forotten something so simple as an incantation?? well, potions wasn't exactly her forte either. Defensive magic and Transfiruration was her thing. Oh well, at least they knew what the problem was now, but how in Merlin's name were they going to fix it?? " I am going to go see what I can dig up on antidotes, I am not a Potions Master, after all." Dora was feeling a bit disgruntled, she didn't like being wrong or second guessing herself. "I will return as soon as I have found something that may be of use to this particular case." She turned on the spot and disapeared with a pop

C.C nodded in greeting to the newcomer (another person - sigh), and at Lima, now she finally knew her name. Gosh, if she wasn't being gawked at she was being treated rudely! Keeping her thoughts to herself, she locked her lips shut and turned back in the direction the potion was being poured into a cauldron.

Fluxweed? Her eyes widened in confusion. She'd definitely got it ready along with the other ingredients! Her memory may not have been the best but she was sure of that.

Serena giggled; though what was funny was beyond C.C's knowledge as she turned to glare at the other head. 'Once the antidote is found,' she began through clenched teeth, still glaring at Serena, 'how long will it take before I can use it to remove her?' One step closer to being free again, she thought with relief, shoulders sagging ever so slightly.

Seemed that no one else here really was great at potions. Well, she wasn't sure about C.C. Or Serena, for that matter. This wasn't really promising for their case, but there had to be way to fix it. She started tapping the eraser end of her pencil against the pad of paper as she listened to the others talk.

They would have to figure out how to make an antidote.. but how? She was a failure at Potions. And once again she wished that her boyfriend was here to help them. But he wasn't.. Sigh.

Though it seemed that Dora had her head on right. She nodded when the girl announced that she would leave to do some research. hopefully she would find out everything that they needed.

But her thoughts were interrupted by C.C.'s question about how long until she could use the antidote. It was a pretty good question really. But she wasn't sure what to tell her. So she just settled on a half answer. "Well, we can't say for certain yet, but I think that as soon as the antidote is found, we can use it right away. And the effects should kick in relatively quickly." She was looking up at the woman now and she had what she hoped was a reassuring smile on her face.
