Yes! Something inside leapt for joy at the affirmation that now she could be cured, and C.C couldn't help the ridiculous smile that broke out on her face. Oh, to have her own head again and just her own head! The bliss it would bring!

Taking her hand off her hip, she waited for Melanie to talk and when she didn't, Abigail walked over to her and took the vial from her. "I can deal with this," she told her with a smile.
"Okay..." she finally spoke up for the first time in minutes. "C.C., I would like to know another thing about this polyjuice potion that might help us know why it didn't work." She paused for a moment as she glanced at Lima before turning back to the woman. "How long did you brew this stuff? Polyjuice potion should be brewed for no shorter than a month....or 31 days, however you want to look at it," she asked. There had to be a cause for this potion problem and Miss Weather was going to find it out. Even though she was running out of possibilities.
'How long did I brew it?' Great, back to questions: she prayed this was the last (or very,
very close to the last). She frowned again as she returned to the same thoughtful state she'd been in with the questions earlier, tapping her chin to complete the effect.
'I gathered the ingredients two months ago. I started brewing it just over three weeks later.' She shrugged casually.
'I'm not sure how long it took me to make it, but it felt like a month, so ...' But then again her time scales weren't always correct. Yet he was certain this time.
Besides, she was going to be nothing but truthful. Maybe just a little elusive instead when the occasion called.
Which it didn't right now.
'A month,' she nodded confidently.
