Nika saw the shock in Cove's face and nodded in response. Yeah. It was really happening and she couldn't believe it either. "I think she said France, but I can't quite remember... It was a erm.. very short conversation." Because Nika ran away. She shouldn't have, but she couldn't keep herself from crying and she didn't want to do it in front of Emily. So she lied to her best friend. For the first time ever. Nika didn't know what to say. Cove was only making her feel worse. All she gave was pity. Nika didn't want pity. She wanted to talk about something else. She wanted sleep.

Ariella bounded into the Girls' Dormitories. She needed to get some more of her DADA assignment finished. The next tasK? Stretch daily.

She propped her foot up onto her bed and bent her hand to touch her toes. She was very flexible, since she took dance lessons back at home. Hold it! One...two...three.........

She held each stretch for 20 seconds. She did some lunges, butterflies, and half-moon yoga poses.

Easy enough, right? She thought to herself. Now I just gotta keep this routine up........

Rose ran into the dormitories and lay on her bed ,face down, and cried. She felt like she'd never stop... She did so as quietly as possible, which was hard, as she was so upset. She didn't think she could feel such hatred for someone...

Nika looked up from spot on her bed where she was talking to Cove a while ago about Emily leaving. The second year was doing a good job keeping her sadness hidden, well for the most part. Other than the first day when she cried in the corridor and in the bathroom she only teared up every now and then. But for some reason she couldn't take the pain today. After ripping up her songs she regretted it, but she couldn't do anything to make them come back. Nika got up and looked in her trunk to find some tape. It had taken her forever to write those songs and she just ripped them all up. Some of them were even real good.

She threw all of her clothes and the contents of her trunk all around her as she searched for tape. She always had some with her just incase and she needed it now more than ever. Seeing the small plastic thing at the bottom of her trunk brought a weak smile to her face. She held the tape in her hands and ran to her bed again where the ripped up papers were sprinkled all around. She'd just have to clean up the contents of her trunk later. After taping together the songs as best as she could she frowned at them. She couldn't even read the smudged handwriting. Stupid anger. Stupid tears. Stupid Nika.

She heard a sound coming from not too far away and looked up. Someone was crying? She didn't need another episode of her all over again. Is this really what she looked like when she cried moments ago? Did Cove see it like this? Nika rushed over to the girl in an attempt of comforting her. "Erm Hi." She said lamely. "Are you alright?" Stupid. Stupid. Stupid. OF COURSE SHE'S NOT ALRIGHT! "What I meant was that do you want to talk about it? My friends keep telling me it helps, but I still don't think it does." Wait what!? Okay even more stupid!!! Nika stop talking now. "I mean it does help, but sometimes it just..."

She took a deep breath and decided maybe to start over. Hopefully the girl wouldn't think she's crazy. "Hi I'm Nika."

Cove saw Rose run in a ran over to her. William had told her they broke up and she wondered if thats why she was crying. "Rose, what's wrong? Is it because of William?" If he did something to her, she was going to be the Gryffindor known for almost hurting a first year.

'Partly, but we've made up now as friends, but m-m-my rabbit died at home!' Rose said

'No, I look like an idiot when I talk, I blubber and cry... Not attractive!' Rose smiled at the girl. 'Well, I've just had a break-up which we've both gotten over and I-I had a rabbit a-at home and m-my parents just wrote saying it died!' Rose sobbed. She loved Chestnut.... Rose pulled herself up. She wiped her face and said 'Hi, Nika, my name's Rose...'

Nika opened her eyes widely. Wait a minute. This girl was the one dating Willie right?.... "Willie right?" She asked hoping she'd recognize the nickname. She forgot that to other people the boy was 'just William'. "Well if it makes you feel any better my best friend just told me that she isn't going to Hogwarts next year?" She suggested hoping that it would make her feel better. Nika wasn't sure how she even managed to tell that to Rose with a straight face. Normally when she told someone she started tearing up, but she managed to say it normally this time.

'Yeah, William... But that's fine now, we're mates...' Rose said and listened to NIka. 'Aw, that's terrible! Have you got other best friends? Why isn't she coming back?' Yes, Rose could be very nosey, but it could help cheer Nika up!

Nika shrugged slightly as she thought about it. Well, yes there was Samira and she always had Elyon, Zara, Thea, Ella, and wow... the list actually continues!? Now that Nika thought about it she did have many best friends, but Emily was the best friend. She let out a small sigh as she thought about the next question. She wasn't sure if Emily wanted other people to know and besides she only just met this girl so she didn't really want to tell her too much. "Well... erm... I'm not sure if she wants other people to know. It's sort of private." Nika responded with another shrug. Only she and another friend knew. It wasn't really her story to tell. If Emily wanted she would tell other people.

'That's fine, she will tell people if she wants them to know!' Rose smiled. 'Hey, have you got a cat?' Rose asked randomly

Sophia walked into the dormitory and flopped onto her bed. All she really wanted to do was sleep. Her family's drama was driving her insane. They all needed to chill. Silly melodramatic Italians. She put her head on her knee. Even though they were silly and melodramatic, she still missed home.

Nika shook her head being a little surprised by the question. "No, I don't have any pets. I really do want a puppy though!" She said earnestly. "Have you got a cat?"

Nika walked into the dormitories and smiled as she saw someone she didn't know. Although the girl looked like she was tired and Nika didn't want to be rude. Buuuut it was a perfect opportunity to meet another fellow lion. EH, worse come to worse the girl will yell at her and Nika can go all Gryffindor on her. So she skipped up to the girl. It was funny how it was late and Nika had so much energy, honestly she was like an owl. She is absolutely awful in the mornings!

She waved at the girl as Nika made her way to the bed. "Hiya! I'm Nika!" She sang, yes sang. Nika rocked back and forth as she waited for the other girl to give a response.

Sophia heard someone enter the room, and she looked up to see someone that she hadn't met before. It would be nice to meet a couple more Gryffindors. She was mostly friends with Slytherins. Wow, this girl had LOTS of energy, and it made Sophia chuckle. Wait a second, how late was it? She looked at her watch, and it read 11:00 PM. It's not even that late. Awesome.

She smiled and waved back at the girl walking towards her. "Hi! I am Sophia." she said, in her Italian accent. "May I add that you have a wonderful singing voice." she said, chuckling. "I can't sing." she added, smirking slightly.

Ronnie walked into the Girl's Dormitories, and slumped onto her bed. She looked around at all the girls talking and laughing. She wished she was one of those girls. A happy and joyful girl. She thought about what happened to her family, which was about three days ago. Tears began to fill her blue/green eyes. She put her face in her hands and began to sob. She sobbed on and on and on. She's been crying too much lately, way too much. She wanted someone to be next to her, to comfort her and be there for her. To tell her everything is okay. But no one seemed to be talking to her lately. It felt as if she was under an invisibility cloak, no one could see her at all. She wished she could get over what happened to her family...to be the happy Ronnie Weasley she used to be...the one everyone knew and loved.

delete... Woah, why was I posting here, I'm at the Hospital Wing!

Ronnie sighed and looked at everyone. Her eyes were very teary. She decided to write a letter to her favorite brother, he was very close to her and was the only one who would probably talk to at the moment. Who knew what was going on. She wiped the tears from her eyes and slowly got out of her bed. She began to go down back to the Gryffindor common room, to write her letter.

Nika smiled back as she raised her eyebrow slightly hearing a bit of an accent. Hm, it wasn't a British accent and she had gotten to know American accents pretty well after hanging out with Samira and Cove so it definitely wasn't that either. "Nice to meet you Sophia! May I add, you have a wonderful accent. Where's it from?" She asked curiously. Well that's what you get for living in England and not traveling all your life. She twisted a strand of her hair around a finger.

She blushed a bit when the girl complimented her on her singing voice. "Thanks," she said with a small smile. "I'm sure you can sing! Everyone can sing." She nodded reassuringly as she chuckled a bit. "It's actually the only thing I can do." Unless you count falling and talking because she's the best at those.

Sophia was definitely jealous of anyone with a British accent. They were just so freaking awesome. Sophia's, on the other hand, can be difficult to understand. "Oh, thanks! And I am Italian!" she said, smiling. She did love Italy. A lot. It was home.

Sophia chuckled at the girl's comment. "Oh believe me. I can't sing." she said, smiling. She knew she couldn't sing. That is why she chose to play instruments instead. "I play a lot of different instruments though. I guess that makes up for it." she said. "And I totally know what you mean." she said. "I'm not really good at anything else." she added, chuckling. She liked sports, but they definitely weren't her forte. No pun intended.

Lily enters the dormitory excitedly. Having fallen seriously ill, she is anxious to get back to classes. Hopefully her mates haven't forgotten her!

Nika's mouth formed an "O" as she nodded her head. Italian. Well now it shall be known that Nika Adler likes Italian accents. "Did you ever live in Italy?" Nika had always wanted to go there... Well she wants to go everywhere. Staying in England isn't ever fun. Especially when you're there your whole life and you've never been any place else. It is a beautiful country, yes but she gets bored of it after living there for twelve years and counting.

She chuckled thinking that the girl was being modest or something. She only shrugged because in her mind she thought that everyone had the potential to sing and be good at it. Then the girl brought up instruments! "Oh! What instruments do you play?! I'm learning how to play the piano... but I truthfully want to learn how to play the guitar." She admitted. "I like to write songs and I want to play guitar with the songs that I write so I can sing along with it!"

Sophia chuckled when she saw Nika's face. Yea, Italians are cool like that. "Technically, I still do live there." she said, tucking her hair behind her ear. She still lives with her parents, and her parents still lived there, so she still lives in Italy. "I am from Rome, but I live in Venice." she said, nodding her head. Venice was gorgeous. She missed it so much. But, England was really cool too. It's a completely different culture.

Sophia was definitely NOT being modest. She couldn't sing. At all. She would love to learn, but it was just something she never got around to. Meh. Nika could play piano? Sophia could play piano! Yay! "I play French Horn, piano, trumpet, guitar, trombone, flute, and clarinet." she said, trying not to seem like she was bragging. She really wasn't. She was a HUGE band nerd. "That's really cool! I have never tried writing music before!" she said, smiling. "And guitar is really easy, so you will pick it up really quickly." she added, truthfully.

Nika nodded her head as Sophia explained. She smiled before she responded, "Lucky! I live in England and I never get to travel." Except for well Hogwarts. That was pretty much it. Then Sophia started naming places in Italy that Nika had never even heard of. So she just continued nodding her head and smiling pretending as if she knew about them. "So do you eat a lot of pizza and pasta?" YUM. Italian food is the best not like she knew, but the restaurants made it seem legendary.

"Wow." That's a lot of instruments. She couldn't even remember half of what the girl said. There was the French Horn, piano, guitar... that's all she got. "How do you have time to practice them all!?" Even practicing piano was hard to fit into her schedule. Granted, it was probably because she didn't try to fit it in but still.... It's the thought right? "The thing is I don't know when I'll have time to learn. You know other than the summer holidays I'm here all of the time!" As if it was something to even complain about... She loved Hogwarts too much to leave it.

'Aw, puppies! I love puppies! Yep, I've got a cat called Maxine! Oh, here she is!' Rose grinned

Maxine jumped onto her owners bed and curled up in a ball. Purr.

'I got her in that transfiguration class! She's gorgeous!' Rose grinned lovingly

Ronnie stomped into the Girl's Dormitories, her bright orange hair in her face. She flipped it out madly and got into her bed. She pounded the bed with her fists and screamed into the pillows (it was muffled so it wasn't too loud ) She sobbed and sobbed on and on....the letter from her mum still clenched in her hand.

Sophia was shocked as she watched Ronnie storm into the dormitory. She walked over and gently laid a hand on the crying girl's shoulder. "So I am guessing it was bad news..." she said, looking at the floor. "I am so sorry." she said. She really wanted to give Ronnie a huge hug right now. She looked like she needed it.

Sophia chuckled. "Too be honest I don't travel much either." she said, nodding her head. She only traveled from Italy to England and back, and it was NOT an exciting trip. Just a looong plane ride. "Have you heard of Venice?" she asked the girl, who seemed like she had no idea what Sophia was talking about. "It's a city built on a river. Instead of streets, we have the river. We use boats as means of transportation. It's absolutely amazing." she said, beaming. Home. The lion laughed at the girl's question, but not in a mean way. "Well in Italy we do eat pizza and pasta, but not any flavors that you would know." she said. "Living near the sea, we eat LOTS of seafood. I personally LOVE Kalamari." she said, smiling.

Sophia laughed. "I know. I play wayyyyyyy to many instruments." she said, shaking her head. Why had she chosen to learn all of them? But, she loved all of them. She was definitely a virtuoso. "I don't practice all of them. Like I know how to play the trumpet, but I don't practice a lot. I mostly practice French Horn and Piano." she said. Those were her favorite. "You could always bring your guitar to Hogwarts!" she suggested. "I bring my French Horn every year." she said, smiling. It always made her feel better when she was down.
