"Ok, that's not good." Cove didn't press the subject any further, Nika didn''t seem to like talking about it.

"Yeah, look." She gave the magazine to Nika. The picture was of her and John standing side by side holding a giant trophy abover their heads. His Left arm was around her shoulders and both of them had one hand holding up the trophy. Behind them you could see the other surfers in the competions. "That was a pair competion." Cove told Nika. "What does the article say?" Sh scanned it for a second and read aloud. "Cove Brett and John Clayton both agree that August 21st was the best day of their lives. 'I can't thank John and my friends and family enough for supporting me.' Cove says. 'Cove's my inspiration, she's that one ray of sunshine that never goes away.' Clayton says. The Australian Surf Cup now belongs to Cove Brett and John Clayton, two of the world's best surfers." She couldn't believe her eyes. She didn't know John had said that about her. "Well there it is, my proof of John liking me. And look, that's all I said about him, I feel bad."

Zara blinked in amusement. Wow. "Oh, well I guess she wants to be a witch too." Zara said, her lips pursed in deep thought, eyes wandering from afar.

"I guess it would take time for her to realize that she's special in her own way, though she's not a wizard," she said softly.

Rosemary giggled, "Maybe part of my Transfiguration skill is from him..." She chuckled, "And yeah! That would be so cool!" She was getting beyond excited.

"I had been trying to find it but she locked it somewhere really secretive so only someone like her could find it... Took me all summer to even get into the room without my parents finding out! And I think I know where it is!" She pointed out.

Rosemary giggled as they hugged before she summoned some of her clothing to change, "At this rate will be ready for Charms exams!"

Ronnie found her trunk and found a decent bed. Her mom had put an extension charm on her trunk so she could pack all her things she needed. She began to unpack her things for her bed (sheets, pillows, blankets) and made her bed. She then took out a little cage with her rat Scabbers sleeping in a little bed in it. She set it on her bedside table, along with a teddy bear she named Pookie. After, she began to put her books in her bag that she would carry along with her throughout the school year. Then she put the bag under her bed neatly, and she stood back to view her little space. It looked great. She smiled and looked around, hoping for someone to talk to. Rosemary McGonagall looked really nice, so she walked up to her and said, "Hi, I'm Ronnie Weasley. Want to be friends?" she asked, hoping she was making a new friend.

Rosemary smiled, "Hello! I'm Rosemary McGonagall.... Nice to meet you..." She smiled softly, the best way to become friends with her was to get to know each other.

Elle was still talking to Nika, when she noticed Ariella come into the dormitory. She hadn't spoken to her in quite some time, and when she flopped onto her bed, Elle almost didn't say anything, but decided to anyway. "Hey, Ariella! Haven't talked to you in a while! How are things?"

"Oh, well, I need to meet her then, too!" Elle replied. She was dedicated to meet as many of her fellow Lions as possible.

"Um, nothing really. Just trying to keep up with homework and everything! How are you doing in Potions?" She asked.

Heather entered the dormitory-looks like no one is around- a breath of relief escaped her lips and she entered with Mr. Panda and closed the door. "Mr. Panda, i want to practice singing-so i can complete my Defense against the dark arts homework." The doll tilted its head in curiosity. And Heather only laughed. "I know, sounds silly, but hey, it's fun. The thing is, i don't really sing..." she said, putting her violin case on top of her bed and climbing on it then opening the case.

"i wonder if i can still sing even while playing the violin, dad taught me, but i might have forgotten..." she said, as she looked at her violin and observed it for a few minutes. "But i promised i'd practice with Kurumi. Let's wait for her."

Practically crawling her way up the stairs from the common room to the girl's dormitory, Kurumi made her way across the floor almost like a slug until she made it to her bed and used the bed post to pull herself up. Finally standing herself up, she collapsed backwards onto her bed and reached her hands high above her head to stretch out her tired limbs.

Breathing in and out deeply a few times, Kurumi sighed heavily. "Hey Heather," she said as she rolled onto her stomach and grabbed her legs, pulling them up until they hit her back to stretch her quads.

Heather was surprised-since when did Kurumi get in the dormitory? AND WHAT HAPPENED TO HER? "K-kurumi! Are you all right?" she was a little surprised that Kurumi looked really tired. What was she doing earlier on anyway? She handed the girl a glass of water. "Water?" she asked.

"T-T-Thank you," Kurumi mumbled stretching out her left arm to grab the water. Her legs collapsed behind her onto the bed and she took three healthy gulps. Why couldn't Lord Borr have asked them to eat 10 servings of vegetables a day or something? Why did it all have to be rigorous physical activity. "I just did a bit of jogging, then some meditation, and now I am here."

And she would much rather take a nap.

Kurumi then noticed Heather had her violin out. "Oh, are you going to sing while you play the violin?" she asked sitting up a bit and a few loud popping noises from her spin echoed in the room.

"that must be so tiring..." Heather said watching Kurumi stretch some more and she went back to her bed. She was going to try those the next day. "Glad you're done with those...Lord Borr's homework is so difficult; i don't even know what front rolls are." Maybe they're food? That'd be fun. Eating 50 of those.

Turning back to her violin, Kurumi asked her if she was going to sing while playing the Violin. "Y-yeah...i t-think i could do that...It's a little difficult..but my dad always told me with the proper practice, i can do it. I was also thinking of doing the last task in the homework.." she picked up her Violin. "Hey, i know, how about i sing to you, Kurumi? I have this song I've been practicing on...here goes..." she said and started to perform once more for her friend, this time, singing along.

when she was done, Heather was still blushing. She still couldn't get the hang of singing along while playing her violin-come to think of it, she never really got a hang of singing. She put her violin down and took her journal to write down her achieved task of the day. She looked at Kurumi as she wrote. "H-how was i-it?" she asked.

Kurumi hugged a pillow to her chest as she listened to Heather play and sing at the same time. Sure, part of it was because she wanted something fluffy to hug while she listened to a rather romantic song and her friend playing the violin, but mostly she wanted to hug the pillow so that she could stretch out the crinks in her back. She heard a few loud pops as her spine straightened, and she hoped they were not loud enough to disturb Heather, which they thankfully didn't seem to be as Heather finished playing and singing.

"That was lovely," Kurumi smiled clapping when the shorter girl her friend finished. "Who is the Romeo you were singing about?"

Heather blushed red at Kurumi's question. Romeo? she felt really flushed, she thought she was going to faint, but she can't leave Kurumi hanging for an answer. "uhm...uhm.... e-e-ed..." she squeaked. Maybe Kurumi heard? She doesn't know. "Ahehehehe...i-it's n-nothing..."

"Yeah, school work's getting crazier everyday. I hope I finish all my homework in time," Tayla replied. "Have you finished all yours?"


"Surfing! Cool!" Tayla replied with a grin and then chuckled. "So I guess you must live in a place by the beach. How long have you been surfing?"


Tayla laughed. "Okay. So, have you finished all your homework yet?"

Zara woke up the next morning to a bright and sunny day. The sun was getting ready to rise and she was up as soon as a ray of the sun had reached her sleeping eyes. As she opened her eyes, Zara blinked once or twice and rolled over her bed so that the blinding sun didn't hurt her eyes. Deciding that it was time to wake up, Zara slowly sat up straight and yawned as she stretched her hands upward. Sighing afterwards, she got her feet out of the covers and was stood standing up in front of her bed.

Looking around, no one was still awake. Zara grabbed the opportunity to do the DADA homework and stretched. First, she reached for the sky, stood on tiptoes and did her best to stretch upwards and began counting in her mind. 'One. Two. Three. Four, five, six, seven, eight. Eight, seven, six, five, four. Three. Two, one.' Returning back to her normal standing position, she began to reach for her toes now. Bending her body forward, her hands tried their best to reach her toes, though with a little difficulty since Zara had long legs and boy, she was tall for her age, standing 5"2.5.

Counting again, 'One, two, three, four, five. Six, seven, eight. Eight, seven, six, five, four, three to one.' Eep, it hurt her legs, so she sat back in her bed. Enough footwork for today. Deciding this, she began to reach for her back instead and held it for 16 seconds using her usual counting. Then shifted using her other arm, and held it for 16 seconds as well.

Doing all kinds of stretching exercises she could think of using her hands, neck, hips, and head, Zara managed to do this with 16 seconds each too. Satisfied with her work, she saw other people began to wake up and decided to go grab some breakfast now.

She hopped and skipped her way down the staircase as she whistled a happy tune. This day so far was good, and Zara hoped to see her friends soon.

"Yean, my family and I live on a big house right on the beachfront." Cove said smiling. "I've been surfing since I could remember, I've played the violin for that long too."

OH! Nika looked at the trophy and at the soon-to-be-couple holding it. "Wow." She looked at Cove and giggled. "Not that bad looking." She winked. "Mind if I steal him from you Cove?" Hehe like Nika would ever do that. "I'm only kdding of course. You two are destined to be together... I think." If only she had some of her divination things with her. Then she might have been able to tell.

"Yeah maybe." She replied without much emotion. "I just hope she forgives me when I go back home." She replied with a small smile.

"So Zara anything other than chainsaws on your mind?" Shiver. Chainsaws. No. They are bad.

"Yeah all of the Gryffindors are so nice!" The hufflepuffs were too and so were the ravenclaws for the most part. Slytherin as well even if there are a few select meanies.

Potions? Ugh. Potions. "Thankfully one lessons gone by and I haven't blown anything up yet." Thank merlin. "I guess the class isn't that bad. It's just Lafay... she's really mean." Dragon lady is never nice.

"Not yet..." She said blushing. "I still have to make my poem for arithmancy! I'm not really much of a poet. I only write songs." she said bobbing her head up and down. "And that really long journal thing for DADA. Haven't done much of that either." She said sighing loudly. "What about you?"

Other than chainsaws? Hmm, a nail file, perhaps? Or anything sharp that could probably break their humongous gate. But Zara knew better than tell Nika than. Though she very much wanted to scare her again. Heheh. "Piano?"

"I think he's handsome, although, I'm in a dilema now though. I was in the courtyard and this other John started hitting on me....he was cute too, but my John's cuter." Cove smiled. "No, he's mine!" She giggled. "I know you are! Really? You think so?" Her smile grew bigger. "I'm only fourteen, though. How can I be in love with someone?"

"You surf and play the violin. Cool!" Tayla grinned. She wished she could do them, too. "They're both difficult to learn right?" Tayla asked, recalling her past attempts with the surfboard and watching a friend of hers from Muggle school practicing the violin.


Tayla shrugged. "I've written poems for school but I'm not very good. I don't expect to do very well in Arithmancy..." Tayla snapped her fingers as Nika mentioned DADA. "I've almost forgotten that one! How could I forget? Sigh...nope, haven't started either." Tayla chuckled. "I'm procrastinating again...I better get starting then."

Kurumi heard it, whether or not Heather had wanted her to, she had. Giggling as she finished stretching her neck a bit by rocking it back and forth and occasionally looking up as far as she could and then down, and then sat on the edge of her bed.

She...supposed...that it was her turn now...

Sitting crossed legged now, Kurumi took a deep breath as her cheeks turning bright pink. Heather had been brave, so now it was her turn. Swallowing, Kurumi closed her eyes and began to sing.

Heather's jaw dropped upon hearing Kurumi sing. Wow. Does everybody she know have good singing voices or what? Kurumi sounds like a professional singer, no kidding about it too. "Wow, Kurumi." she said, after the girl had finished. Even if she did not understand what Kurumi sang, Kurumi singing a japanese song was really...beautiful. "That was so amazing!"

Kurumi's face turned bright pink and she threw a blanket over her head to try and hide herself. "H-H-Heather, you are flattering me too much," she mumbled from under her blanket. "Y-Y-You were amazing as well and you even played the violin while you sang."

Kurumi tugged the edges of her blanket a bit. She was sure her hair was a dusty orange color right now from embarrassment.

"N-no, i mean it." Heather said, laughing and moving over to Kurumi's bed to hug her friend whom was hiding beneath her blankets. "You were awesome...just like big brother!..." she blushed as well when Kurumi mentioned about her performance. "T-thanks...hey, i have an idea....Kurumi, why don't you and big brother have a duet? I'll be playing the violin with you guys."
