" he smiled as he said this realising that he had just named her his best friend too, and it felt right seeing how close they had become in such a short time. So were they best friends to each other now? It seemed that way, they were entitled to hang out with each other more now right? Well as much as they had been already if not more.

He saw her raise an eyebrow and knew that she was still suspicious, and hoped that she wouldn't ask anymore. Cause really if she did, what was he to say he himself didn't have an answer for that! He had never been this clueless before in his life, so why now? He was glad that she didn't ask, maybe she was suspicious before but now she bought his story? He hoped so.. "It's always good to think ahead" he smiled before he had an even bigger smile "Oh of course we do! Can't go to Diagon and not go to Sugarplums and stock up for the day. Oh what a sugar-rush filled day it will be!" he said. Hoping they wouldn't bounce around Diagon too much on a sugar-high rush.

He saw her smile increase too just as his did before he saw her frown that the sundae had ended. He looked into his bowl and saw that he had some still left, probably less than a 1/3 of the original quantity since he had been too busy chatting. His thoughts went back to earlier about the sharing thing, now was a good time to do that seeing how she was about her bowl being empty now "Erm.. I still have some if you want a little more, I don't mind! sundaes can be made for sharing too" he smiled as he held out his bowl offering her some of his sundae. His mother's word rang in his ears telling him that saying that he had heard many times growing up with two siblings. The saying being 'That Sharing was Caring', sharing with someone showed that person that you cared.

Ella's eyes found his quickly when he said he loved hanging out with her. She felt her cheeks going all pink again and cursed her stupid blushes, bringing her hands up to her face in attempt to hide the color that as now rising up. Realizing she must look a bit ridiculous standing there holding her cheeks, she dropped her hands and laughed again before stepping forwards and pulling Harvey into a hug. When she let him go again, she pushed him playfully and shook her head at him. "You're too nice to me Harvs." Seriously. He had to stop being so nice.

A sugar-rush day. That seemed like an awesome kind of day to Ella. Though she was usually hyper on a daily basis anyway so...it would be an interesting day indeed. Grin.

Seriously, with the sharing. JKLHKLJH! WHY did he have to be so nice?! Ella smiled at him but shook her head. She wanted to eat the rest of his ice cream...really, she did! But it was his and he deserved to enjoy it! They whole thing! "I appreciate it Harvs but you finish it. Really." And she pushed the bowl back towards him before hopping up on the counter to sit. "There are delicious though, right? The sundaes?" She said cheerfully, swinging her legs back and forth.

Harvey listened to Ella kind of not believing what she was saying. Harvey Watson NOT wanting more best friends? That was new! He hadn't heard that before "Well it.. depends on the person. Usually when I become very close friends with someone.. What was this a pulling and pushing game? first you pull the guy then push him away?! "I am? and here I thought being nice and getting you to hang out with me was my way of annoying you. Well that didn't work did it?" he laughed at his joke. He just couldn't help that he was that nice, it was just natural to him.

He didn't seem convinced when she told him to finish it. "Erm.. ok" he said as he ate some, sure thats what she said but he had other ideas, something his mom used to do *shifty*. He nodded "Yeah they are! the toppings just make them even more awesome. " he smiled.. right now for his plan.. as an ice-cream lover himself he knew how it worked. He picked up her spoon, scooped some up "Go on just one spoonful" he smiled.. and then another and another until they had shared the rest of this sundae together.. well that was the plan.. he wouldn't force her to go along with it, he would try to persuade her but in the end it was her choice or not whether she wanted more.

Poor Harvey, he was kind of like a human rag doll at the moment, the way Ella was pulling and pushing him around. It's just the way she treated her best friends though, so it was something he'd have to get used to...her crazy pushing and pulling. She laughed at his joke but raised an eyebrow at her friend. "You were trying to annoy me, Harvs?" She asked innocently, pouting. "Well that just isn't nice." And she turned away from him, crossing her arms.

"Jusssst kidding!" She said finally, after making him sweat it out for a moment or two. "Am I annoying you yet?" Probably. "Aren't you glad you decided to be my best friend." She added sarcastically with a smile. Ella didn't know where all the sarcasm and joking was coming from these days. Honestly, she blamed Edric.

Ella beamed at Harvey when he said the ice cream sundaes were good. She was glad he was having fun. That was the whole point of a sundae making get together, yeah? When he picked up her spoon, she looked at him, confused. What in the world was he doing-OH. Heh. She smiled at him before taking the spoon into her own hand. "Well...if you insist." And spoonful by spoonful, Ella helped Harvey finish his sundae. When it was done, Ella placed her spoon down on the counter and rested her head back against the cabinet, a grin on her face. "Best sundaes ever...thanks for sharing."

He breathed a sigh of relief as she said she was kidding.. he shook his head "I guess I am going to have get used to you doing that to me, getting me all worried for nothing." he chuckled as he heard her question .. mmm did she annoy him yet? he shook his head "Nope.. you don't annoy me... yet" he smiled.. "Of course I am glad!! I mean who else is going to eat a lot of candy and have awesome sundaes with me" he chuckled.. he didn't think that she could ever annoy him.. but he wasn't about to tell her that... yet

"I do insist! " he smiled as spoonful by spoonful they finished his sundae. He watched as she rested her head back against the cabinet behind her, he knew that she had enjoyed the extra sundae. "[b]Yes they are.. thanks to you!.. and no worries about sharing.. its always nice share[b]" he smiled as she sat there. He was glad that they had come here and had the best sundaes that he had tasted, for some reason Ella's customised sundaes tasted better than the muggle ones that he'd had before.

The second year only stopped her evil plotting when Harvey asked if he'd need to get used to this sort of thing. "I guess you should. Though I'm kind of new at it myself. I guess I think it's fun to tease friends sometimes. Is that mean?" And she was genuinely asking because sometimes she thought Edric was mean for doing it to her.

And phew! Harvey wasn't yet annoyed with having her around all the time. That was good...especially because she liked to be around Harvey. The second year wasn't really sure how she would react if there ever came a time when he was annoyed with her. "Good. And you're kidding about the yet thing...right?" Ella asked him with a smile, knowing he was. "And I guess you're right...I am quite a good eating partner. I can eat a lot." Not to brag or anything!

And then they were done. Both sundaes finished. Ella hopped down from the counter and silently grabbed her bowl and spoon, motioning for Harvey to put his on top of hers. She then headed to where the sink was located and placed the dirty dishes inside along with the spoons and scooper they had used. When she returned, she looked at Harvey and smiled. "You know what you really want to do right now?" And yes, she was totes Jedi mind tricking him. "You want to help me put all this topping stuff away."

"Yeah I am right.." he chuckled.. of course he was right! "Yeah you can .. you did have a whole sundae plus a bit of mine.. which I didn't mind giving you." he smiled. Hanging out with Ella was always fun so it didn't surprise him that he had fun eating sundaes during the winter months, good thing his parents didn't know that he had.

Harvey placed his bowl on top of hers as she had motioned for him to.. he watched her place them into the sink, she then returned and asked him whether he knew what he wanted to do right then. He looked at her a little confused as to what she was meaning, what did she expect him to do? he was not a mind reader to know what she was thinking, luckily he didn't have to think for too long cause she told him. He smiled and nodded.. oohhhh so thats what she meant.. could have just said that in the first place. He then started helping with putting the toppings away, he had to cause he had eaten a sundae too so it was just polite of him to help out.

Harvey's confusion about her question only made Ella smile. It was cute, Harvey's confused face. She would never admit that to him, though. Nope. NEVERRR...and she was happy when he began cleaning up without saying a word. She too began gathering ingredients and placing them back in the cabinets where she had found them. When she was done, she walked back to the counter where she had been sitting before and leaned against it. "So I uh-I guess we should go now?" They'd been hiding out in the kitchens for quite a while so it was probably time.

He helped put everything away, then joined her back at the counter where she was standing. He looked at her as he stood next to her "Yeah I er.. guess we should" were they going somewhere else or were they to part ways from here? he thought.. the only way was to ask "Erm.. are we going somewhere else or are you headed to your common room now?" he asked her.. wondering very curiously what she meant.

Hmm. Harvey didn't seem to know what he wanted to do. The good part was that he hadn't suggested they go their separate ways. This meant they could keep hanging out, yeah? "A walk might be nice." She said after thinking over the options he suggested. "Want to go walk on the pathways?"
