RONNIE WAS STARVED.

Like seriously.

She was gonna die if she didn't get down to the kitchen in time! She ran like crazy through the halls and to the kitchen, running face first into the large pear and falling backwards on her back. She looked up and realized she had totally forgotten to tickle the pear. *facepalm*

She stood up, quickly tickled the pear, and dashed into the kitchen.
"I'M SO HUNGRY!"
she said loudly, looking around quickly to see if anyone had heard her. Because that was kinda embarrassing. Why the heck did she just say that...

As Ronnie looked around the kitchen, she saw Cardigan. "CARDIGAN!" she called, running up to the girl who was wandering around. "Hi hi hi wanna eat ice cream with me?" she asked, bouncing on her heels excitedly.

Gwen was a bit confused that she was able to do things pretty well with magic, and without it she was lost. What would she do with magic anyway? ‘I don’t think I could ever live without magic’ Like moving to a muggle neighbourhood.No way! It was bad enough when Ari spent a couple of weeks in muggle France and she only got the letters from her. It was still bad, and it was only her best friend living there. Not even herself. But then Jory said something that interrupted her thoughts. Afraid she’ll spill everything. Yes. Obviously, Gwendolyn thought. ‘No. Of course not’, she said, but wasn’t able to keep a straight face. That smirk proved once again what a terrible liar she was. Heh.

‘Right’, Gwendolyn gave a small nod. She could manage to take the pans to the oven. Casting a simple levitating charm on one of them, Gwendolyn directed it to the oven. Hmm. Was there room for the second one too or would they have to wait for the first muffins to be done?

‘Do you think you could wait for twenty minutes?’, Gwen asked her friend. ‘If not, there are still some muffins left…’, she said, obviously only joking. Besides, she wouldn’t let him eat the muffins she baked, since there was the high risk of food poisoning him. And no, that was not a joke. ‘…or some proper food around here’, she finally finished the sentence.

As she waited for the muffins to be done, the Ravenclaw took a seat and drew her attention back to Jory. ‘So… what have you been up to lately?’, she heard herself asking. Well, normally she wouldn’t care about what other people had been doing, but Jory was one of her best friends. Best male friend, actually. Or at least Gwen liked to believe so.

Jory's grin widened. "Of course you aren't,'' he said jokingly as Gwen smirked. He watched as she levitated her pan over to the oven. "Don't drop it!'' he called teasing her. He knew she wouldn't- she was far better with magic.

The Badger followed with his pan in his hand. "I think there's enough space to hold both,'' he told his friends as he examined the oven. Yes, there definitely was space. He placed his pan on the rack at the bottom of Gwen's and closed the oven.

Jory walked back over to the table to finish off the cleaning. "I think I'll survive the twenty minutes,'' he said as he pulled out his wand and cleaning the utensils they'd use. He got always got tired of manual cleaning fast.

"Well, mostly school work,'' the Puff said, carefully inspecting a bowl to make sure it was thoroughly cleaned. "Homework's just coming in one after the other. I've hardly got time to read anymore.'' He set aside the bowl and picked up another. ''And OWLs are next year...I think I might panic soon,'' he added.

’Fine’, Gwendolyn nodded and glimpsed at the watch. Twenty minutes. It wasn’t that much… She left the other muffins far more time in the oven. Five more minutes and smoke would have come out from the kitchen. Heh.

As Jory started talking, the fourth year drew her attention back to her friend. ‘I see’, she mused. Yes. She had been quite busy lately too, mostly because of classes and homework. And she was relieved OWLs weren’t coming up now, since she was absolutely sure those exams would leave her without any energy by the end of next year. As she thought about this, the fourth year could hear the Hufflepuff mention something about OWLs.

Might panic soon?

Might?!

‘Already did’, Gwendolyn said with a small nod. Yes. She had already had one of those panic moments. She was almost sure she wouldn’t FAIL at OWLs… or at least she hoped so. ‘Maybe we could study sometime together?’, the girl asked. She actually preferred studying with a friend, rather than spending a lot of time alone in the library. Well, most of the time, anyway. ‘Would you help me with Muggle Studies? Please?’, she finally managed to say. Or she would fail with Troll. Truth be told, she hadn’t been fond of the subject, and that was mainly because she wasn’t good at it. ‘I could help you out at some other subject…’ Like… Potions or Arithmancy... something she was good at. Gwen waited for some sort of a reply from Jory before going on talking. After all, he might prefer studying alone.

"You still skeptical that the muffins will come out all wrong?'' Jory asked looking amused. He was sort of confident they would be alright. He wasn't that bad in the kitchen.

"We'll I'd say I'm handling it better than you,'' the Badger said smiling as he finished up the last of the cleaning. The thought of failing a subject made him go cold. He never failed anything at school nor did he intend to but there was always a first time for everything.

"That's a great idea,'' Jory said. He'd thought of finding a study buddy before but he wasn't sure to ask. When he was in the library alone he usually just stared out the window. "Of course I will,'' he said. "You'll end up with exceeds expectation,'' the boy added, feeling sure. "You can help me with Arithmancy. I'm hopeless with it.'' Jory despised all the mistakes he made in Arithmancy class. In front of his Head-of House, Professor Hadley. He couldn't imagine what she'd think of him.

"How much longer for the muffins?''the Puff asked.

Was she sceptical?

Always.

Gwendolyn suppressed a grin after having heard her friend ask that. Though, she was almost sure that he hadn’t messed anything up. If there would be anything wrong, then it would have to be the muffin tray she had worked with. Hmm.

As she heard him agree with the plan, the Ravenclaw actually gave a small smile. Not smirk. Not grin. And actual smile coming from Gwendolyn Greene. ‘Great’, she said with a small nod as she drew her attention back to Jory. Hmm. Exceeds Expectations. That sounded definitely better than Troll, but Gwendolyn had her mind set on Outstanding. And she was not going to give up her plan. Her thoughts were interrupted by something Jory said, making the fourth year look back at him. ‘Arithmancy?’, she mused. She could definitely work with that. For some reason, she really liked the subject. Not like she was planning on becoming a curse breaker, like her father, but perhaps she did inherit something from him… Anyway, it was even one of her favourite subjects, so as a response to Jory, the Ravenclaw nodded.'Agreed.'

How much longer for the muffins?

Gwen checked the time. ‘Should be about done’, the fourth year mused and headed over to the oven. As soon as she wanted to take the pans out, a powerful smell of pineapple muffins came from the oven. Judging by the smell and their appearance, there was absolutely nothing wrong with them.Hah! And she hadn’t burnt down the kitchen! Wooot! That was good news. Gwendolyn used a simple spell to levitate the pans to the table, and then started looking for something where to put the muffins and empty the trays.

Jory noticed Gwen's smile. It was different from the others, this one seemed...genuine. He was sure she felt relieved she had now gotten a study buddy. Like he now had for which he was grateful and he told her. "Thanks,'' he replied. "With any luck I'll get Outstanding.''

Now, the badger realised he'd said something wrong. "Did I say exceed expectations?'' he asked. "I meant Outstanding. I always get mixed up with which goes first.'' He grinned sheepishly.

The delicious smell of pineapple made Jory's stomach rumble again. "They smell great! And they came out just right.'' He added with a sly grin "And we didn't burn the place down.''

Outstanding… Exceeding Expectations… it was almost the same. Almost. Anyway, as long as she wouldn’t fail any of the exams, it will be fine. ‘Fine’, the fourth year said with a small smirk. The plan of studying together seemed pretty good. So she was going to survive with Muggle Studies. All was left to worry about was Divination. But she would try to listen to Joanna and leave studying for the exams for next year. There was plenty of time left.

Hmm. Jory was right. The muffins looked good. The fourth year started to empty the pans and put the muffins in the bowls she had found a moment ago. Of course, since she used magic for this, it didn’t take her long before the pans were all cleaned up. ‘Right…’, Gwen laughed at his remark about burning the place down. She could have done that. Mhmm. After she put the rest of the thing in order, the Ravenclaw grabbed herself one of the muffins. ‘These really turned out great’ Really. The muffins were delicious. ‘Thanks for helping me’

Ella was very busy down in the kitchens gathering and organizing ingredients to make cupcakes. Not just any cupcakes, though. These were going to be VERY special cupcakes because it was a VERY special day. SOPHIE'S BIRTHDAY! And Ella had agreed to come and bake with her. It was definitely going to be fun! BEAM.

Once all of the ingredients, bowls, and mixing utensils were out on the counter, Ella sat back and eyed the very imortant birthday gift she'd brought with her. It was sitting off to the side where it wouldn't get covered in cupcake batter but the second year couldn't help but worry about it. She had made sure her dad picked out the exact items she had specified in her owl and he'd done great! Now for Sophie to see it! She hoped she really liked her gifts!

BIIRTHDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!

Sophie was beaming since the time she woke up. BEAM. BEAM. BEAM. BEEEAM!! She was going everywhere with a huge grin on her face. Birthdays were cool. She really liked birthdays. Especially her OWN!

Awesome!

After opening the gifts her family had sent, she played around with spells for a little bit in the dorms before going to the kitchens. She had not been that frequently and was starting to feel the need to do so, since it was so close to their Common Room! It was only logical that she spent more time there, right?

After tickling the pear, she jumped in the kitchen, stretching out her arms and BEAMING more! "HELLOOOOOO, HOUSE-EEEEEELVES!!!!" FLAIL! She spotted Ella already there and her smile widened. "HAAAII, ELLAAAAAA!!!!"

Cue MORE FLAILING!

Ella was busy organizing the counter top, because something like that was CLEARLY necessary, when she heard a very familiar voice greeting the house elves. BEAM.BEAM.BEAM. And then her! Ella grinned, turning and attacking wrapping her friend in a hug. "SOPHIE!!!" FLAILING "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!" And Ella LOVED helping her friends celebrate their birthdays! "Oh! And this is for you!" and she skipped over to the floor space beside the counter and picked up the gift bag and then handing it to her friend. "Open it!!!" And she would, right? Because Ella couldn't wait to see her reaction...which knowing Sophie, would probably be more flailing! BEAM. Oh, and just because..."And no, it's not Morbid. Unfortunately I couldn't fit him into a gift bag." TEHEHEHEHE!!!

PARTY. PARTY. PARTAAAAAAY.

Okay, maybe it wasn't an actual party, but Theo was counting it as one. He had brought pointy, party hats for EVERYONE! Skipping down to the kitchens, with Sophie's present and card under his arm, he halted to a stop when he saw two Hufflepuffs. Yea, he'd be nice to Hufflepuffs today, because he sensed a lot of them would show up to this party gathering.

"SOPHIEEEE, HAPPY BIRTHDAAAAAAAAAAAAAY." Theo bellowed behind Sophie, then pushed the present towards her. Card first, though. Always card first.

Wanna know what it was....... it was.. a chocolate frog and a LLAMA PLUSHIE. OH YEAH.

Here's a Llama, there's a Llama, and another little Llama! FUZZY LLAMA, FUNNY LLAMA. LLAMA, LLAMA, DUCK. Ahem... Theo grinned so hard his cheeks hurt. "Oh, hi, Ella...." He gave her a suspicious smile. Mmmm..

YAYAYAYAYAYAY!! THANK YOOOU, ELLAA!! FLAIL! She beamed some more as she reached out to grab the gift Ella was giving her. "Aww, thank yooou again, Ella!" Sophie gave her friend a BIG BEAR HUG, because the blonde was awesome! She giggled as the girl rushed her to open it andd obeyed. Before she was done, Ella made the Morbid comment. "SSHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!" Sophie put one of her fingers over her mouth and looked around quickly, to make sure not even a house elf had heard what Ella had just said. "Shhhh!!" Because... SSHH!! NO ONE CAN KNOW, ELLA, ARE YOU CRAZY?

Right. Back to the present! OOHH!! SO COOL! They could now have another Bertie Bott's partay in the dorms! D'AWW! BEST FRIENDS! FOREVA! FLAIL MORE! And GDLFKMGDFLK! "A STUFFED OWL THIS IS SO CUTE, ELLA!!" Because teenage Sophie still loved those, teehee! WHO DOESN'T? "THANKS ONCE MOOORE, EELLAAAA!!!" Another bear hug! She had the most awesomest best friend in ze world! BEAM!

OH! Sophie spun on her heels as she heard a familiar voice coming from the door. "THEODOOOOOOORE!!!" It's been so long since they last spoke! "THANK YOOOOOOOOOOU!!" She received the card and present as he pushed it to her. Before opening, she also gave him a BEAR HUG! Because she was extremely happy aaand because he was a dear friend as well! And dear friends should always get bear hugs! FLAIL!

She finally opened his present while he greeted Ella quite... awkwardly. Sophie completely ignored it, since she just realised she had gotten another stuffed animal! A... llama?? "Hahahaha, that's so cool, Theo! Thanks!" YAY! Her collection was now groowiiiing! And more sweets! That was good too! Wooooooooooooooop!

Her friends were so awesome! Sophie skipped to an empty corner of the kitchen and placed her cool presents there. She didn't want to get them all covered in... ingredients. Whatever they were making today, her gifts should stay safe and cleeean!

"WHERE DO WE START??" 'Cause she wanted to BAKE BAKE BAKE! She had never baked before and it sounded like FUN!

YEAHH. This partay was gonna be AWESHOME.

"SOOOOPHIIEEEEE." Flail. The tiny girl named Alice Fischer skipped into the Kitchens with a giant smile plasted on her face and her hands filled with her gifts for Sophie. She wasn't sure what to get her Jigglypuff Hufflepuff friend, since she hadn't known her too long, but she had a general idea of what every child her age liked. "HERE." She said, dumping the cotton candy and sugar quills into her friends arms. And, of course, a little yellow birdie ring that she had found in the Room of Requirement. 'Twas pretteh, and she thought Soph might like it. "HAPPEH BIRTHDAY. You're awesome. And you're extra awesometastical today, 'cause it's your BIRTHDAY."

Uh-huh. Sophie's awesomeness was like radiating today.

Ella watched as Theo arrived...with party hats?! This made her smile a bit more than she had planned at the first year. Mostly cause it was quite nice of him to think of something like that. But WHAT was that smile? It looked...suspicious. Hmmm. Raising her eyebrows, Ella waved. "Hey Theodore." You little smiling weirdo.


Ell smiled and definitely returned the bear hugs as Sophie FREAKED OUT as one was allowed to do on their birthday! Mhm! She couldn't help but burst into a fit of giggles as her bestie seemed quite scandalized about the Morbid comment. Hehehe. Mission accomplished!

Ella BEAMED as Sophie opened the gift and seemed to love it. "I'M SO GLAD YOU LIKE IT!" She said equally loud and excited. D'awww and more hugs? Ella laughed and squeezed Sophie tightly. This was going to be fun!

Oh....where were they meant to start? Ella frowned, looking around at the spread. "Well first we have to measure some ingredients!" Yeah, that seemed legit!



O__O Queen Alice?! Ella didn't know that she knew Sophie! The second year grinned and waved at the blonde excitedly. "Hey Queen Alice! Nice to see you." And she curtsied before giggling. Oh and look, the little heart throb was surrounded by girls...he must be in heaven!

"YOU ARE WELCOMEE......... I -" He would have continued, it she hadn't engulfed him in a hug that felt like his breathing was being completely cut off. Theo squeaked and when he finally pulled himself away from Sophie, he made a face of discomfort.

One does not simply hug Theodore Kinsley.

Though, he was very pleased that she enjoyed her presents. Who WOULDN'T like a llama plushie? Oh, where do they start? Here have a hat. Theo pulled a few of the pointy things from his bag and handed the BIGGEST one to Sophie.

OHYEAH. Wasn't he the BESTEST buddie out there?

Now.. "What are we cookinnnnnn?" Theo could not cook, FYI.



Theo eyyyyyyyyyyed the girl who had joined them. He remembered her as... Alice, the girl who assumed that HE was a girl when they first met. Yeah, he didn't like her much. And he also was NOT aware that Gryffindors were allowed in their circle of trust.

Being the good guy he was, though..... Theo offered her a smile and a party hat.

After letting a few initial moments pass for Ella to make her bludger throwing moves, Theo decided that she probably was not going to do that. Perhaps he SHOULD let it go after all this time. So, he transformed his suspicious smile into a BEAM and gave her a party hat. "HAY."

"Party, party, parteeeeeeeey.. Who else is invited?" He asked everyone.

ELLA WAS HERE, TOO. She hadn't noticed the familiar blonde head of hers bobbing in the crowded Kitchen, with the House Elves still busling about and whatnot. "ELLS. HAII." Inner flailing. She saluted her friend after her lovely curtsy all the while resisting the urge to drown Ells in hugs 'cause she had called her Queen Alice and bowed. "Tis nice to see one of my favourite Jigglypuffs again!" Cue greeting hairflip. Giggle. She and Ells still hadn't gotten over the Alec-imitation phase, so they were still acting like tiny children and copying him. But, y'know, whatever. AND. Then she saw.. Theo?! The boy who.. who she had mistakenly called a girl that one time. Oh, yeah. Oops. HEY. She was sleepy. Forgive a person, won't you? ANYWAYYS. He seemed to have gotten over it and was being all nice-ish. SO. She guessed she could get over how he had snapped his tiny fingers at the QUEEN. Kind of. Maybe. Not.

So she kinda smiled back up at the tiny boy and took the party hat from him. "Thaaaaanks." BEAMBEAMBEAM. "Could I have one more, please? For my frog." Frank, as usual, was sitting on her shoulder and burbling at the boy in front of them like the good Chocolate Frog pet that he was.

How in the name of Superman's Super Senses did he end up running late?

Alec had no time to figure out the answer to this question because he was too busy running like the wind towards the kitchens. Hopefully Sophie wouldn't be too mad at him for being a bit late. He wanted to make sure that everything was perfect and now... now he was late.

GULP. She was the Charms Queen. She could just as easily hex him today and he wouldn't be able to defend himself very well. ... He was not going to be hexed! She wasn't too mad, was she?

Reaching the special portrait, Alec tickled the pear. He took a moment to catch his breath back before pushing open the door and yelling, "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOPHS!"

... Maybe that wasn't needed.

Grinning sheepishly, he walked over towards the birthday girl, a bag of gifts in his hand. "Erm... well, happy birthday!" he said, "Sorry about... erm... being late. I had a bit of trouble with things..." Like his hair. But Sophie didn't need to know that.

Looking around, he grinned at the other party members. Ells! Yeah, she was bound to be here, what with being Sophie's best friend and all. And Alice? The Hulk! And... Theo, the nose whipper. This party was going to be awesome!

"I DO! I DO!" Sophie flailed some more. Whenever people flailed around her she felt like flailing MORE! And that was awesome! Especially when it was her bestie flailing with her, yep!

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Today was going to be BRILLIANT!



The Hufflepuff notice how uneasy Theodore was because of the hug but completely ignored the fact, BEAMING some more. Her smiled widened eeeven moooore (how was that even possible?) when he pulled out some pointy party hats! "That's so cooool, Theodore!!" She exclaimed as he handed the biggest to her. "Aw, thanks!" SO SWEET OF HIM! Wasn't this little snake the coolest ever after Mordred???

The second year quickly placed the wicked pointy hat on top of her head and grinned. She was feeling really cool. HEH! "We are going to make some-" But before she could finish her sentence, the kitchen door opened again.



"AALIIIIIIICE!!!!!!!" MOOORE FLAILIIINGG! Sophie just couldn't get tired of flailing today. Or ever, for that matter. She rushed in the girl's direction and bounced up and down. She hadn't known the Gryffindor for that long, but she had already figured out how cool and nice the girl was. So she was obviously invited to her birthday party/baking gathering/whatever that was.

And she also had brought her presents!! AW, THESE PEOPLE!! Sophie seriously loved, like REALLY LOVED all of her lovely friends. They were so nice and lovable it was truly easy to love them all. "THAANK YOOU, ALIICE!" Those were a looot of things there! The badger chuckled at the third year's words. That girl was funny indeed! "Hahahaha! Thanks!" What a cool way of complimenting someone! Teehee!

Alice also receive a BEAR HUG. Awesometastical was a really cool word and it always put a smile on Sophie's face. And it reminded her of the crazy Slytherin prefect. And Slytherins were nice!

Ahem.

Oh? Ella and Alice knew each other already? That was cool! They were both nice and Sophie would be glad to introduce them, buuuut... no need! BEAM! Sophie's friends were SO awesome!




Sophie was startled this time! But that didn't make her smile vanish one bit! "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!! THANK YOU, ALEEC!!" She bounced up and down, flailing her arms around. The kitchen was getting pretty crowded already!

When he handed her the bad she stepped forward and hugged him TOO! Yeah. Everyone was getting hugs today! And not just regular hugs, but BEAR HUGS! WOOP! "Thaaaaaaaaaaanks!! And you're not late!" They hadn't even started doing anything! So he wasn't late, really. She opened the bag and saw ze cool gifts. 'S' and in Sophie! How coool! But when she saw what else he had gotten her... her eyes widened and she looked from the little thingies to Alec. "Tickets for an Appleby Arrows match?? APPLEBY ARROWS! MATCH! TICKETS!" WOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Sophie jumped up and down and gave Alec another huuuuug. "THANK YOU, ALEEC!"

Meerliiin! This was turning out to be great! Her friends knew her too well! And this made her feel special and even HAPPIER! "Okaaaayyyy! We could get started on the cupcakes theenn!!" She said placing the gifts she had just received with the other ones and rushed to where Ella was. She had NO idea of where to start or what to do, so she waited for the instructions. "What now??"

Ella laughed as Theodore's smile suddenly changed. It was quite humorous to watch, actually. He could totally be an actor if he wanted what with the way he was able to change his smiles like that. She BEAMED right back at him, accepting the party hat with a smile. "This was nice of you, Theo...bringing the hats!" And she placed her GREEN one on her head, adjusting it slightly. "Now we're ready to party." Giggle.


Ella giggled and returned the salute, a serious look on her face. The seriousness lasted all of two seconds as she couldn't keep up the act and bust into giggles. Teehee. And D'awww! Ella was one of her favorites? This caused the second year to BEAM at the blonde. OH! AND a hair flip? Ella burst into laughter before doing one of her own...like a shampoo commercial worthy one. Heh. "It's great to see you, too!" And now they could do mock hair flips all ze time! Mhm!



Ella laughed as Alec entered the kitchen all enthusiastic-like. Way to make an entrance, hair whipper! The second year smiled as she watched him then give Sophie a gift, wondering what it might be. Probably hair products or something, right? I mean Alec probably had a lot of those lying around. Hehe. She waved at her fellow Hufflepuff and greeted him cheerfully. "Hi Alec, what's up?" Y'know, besides the whole being awesome and celebrating Sophie's birthday-thing.



O__o Alec had gotten Ella Abbleby Arrow tickets? Ella blinked several times before flailing with her friend, so excited for her. She beamed at the second year hair flipper, feeling quite jealous he had thought of such a great present for her bestie. "Alec, that's a brilliant gift!" Way to go. Much better than hair products!

Oh...and now Sophie was looking at Ella all expectantly. Right...so she was meant to take charge now? Ahem. "Alright, well here are some copies of the recipe. I hope everyone likes strawberries." And she handed everyone a piece of parchment with the directions written down.



"I already asked the elves for help chopping the strawberries and making the frosting so we just need to add the ingredients together, mix, and pour!" Right! Shouldn't be too hard. "Ohhh and preheat the oven! We should do that now!" And the second year skipped over, making sure the temperature was at 350.

Carigan peeked through the door of the kitchen before she made her entrance. "Correction, NOW the party can start because I'm here!"

She smiled and lifted her arms up in a stretch. She loved living near the ktichens.

Summer must really be around the corner since the Slytherin boy wasn’t up to anything. Every after class he would just plop down on his bed and take a nap, or read dragon books. He thought that he must be reading a lot about it since he dreamed about him as a grown up Auror riding a Dragon...probably because a broomstick was too mainstream for him.

Stretching on his bed, he caught sight of Theo walking out of the boys’ dorm room with party hats and a gift. Curiosity got the best of him and walked silently behind the first year and was directed to the Kitchens. Theo did shout something about greeting someone Happy Birthday, but the throng of students coming in and out of the kitchen made it impossible for Mordred to understand what he said. Before proceeding, he took one look behind the corridor and gently opened the door. He didn’t want attention drawn to himself. He simply wanted to know what was going on since party crashing was a no-no.

He took a peek first and entered the room just a few feet away from the door. Theo, Ella, Sophie and Alec were there donning party hats. “So it is a party.” He thought as he kept his hands in his pocket looking at the party people slightly grinning. The thing is, who was celebrating their natal day today?

A few seconds later after he arrived, a Gryffindor came inside the kitchen. Mordred eyed the Gryffindor until she made her way to Sophie and greeted her Happy Birthday. Mordred simply stood there still his hands inside his pockets hoping to catch Sophie’s attention. He didn’t want to ‘intrude’ the gathering since he didn’t get any invitation—his parents made it very clear that it was rude to crash a party. As soon as Sophie’s head was turned to his direction, Mordred grinned at her, waved and mouthed the words Happy Birthday.

Alyssa was told by somebody that somebody had told her that somebody wanted her down in the kitchen to celebrate somebody's birthday. Alyssa quickly dressed into something more formal than her regular 'relaxing in the Common Room clothes. After changing she realized that she may have overdressed, since the party was down in the kitchen, but right now, it was too late she was the last to arrive.

She quickly looked for Sophie and hugged her. "Happy Birthday, Sophie"she greeted her friend before handing over her birthday gift.

"I'm sorry. I really didn't know what to get you, but I hope that you like it." Alyssa told her friend.

Those hats Theo brought were pretty cool! Sophie wiggled her head to feel it. Teehee! COOL! But TIME TO BAKE!


Or not. Ooonce again, Sophie turned her head to look at the person that had entered the kitchen. "CARIGAAN!!" She beamed bouncing and waving her arms. "Come on, we're starting the cupcakes!"

But then someone EEELSE arrived! Sophie hugged Alyssa back with a BIG smile on her face. "Thank yooou, Alyssaa!" She bounced some more as she opened the present. "This is so cool!!" She said as she held the... thingy up. She didn't know what it was called, but it was cool anyway! Heh!




Sophie was still bouncing up and down with Alyssa's gift on her hand when she noticed someone at the door. WHUT! When had HE got there?? And how hadn't SHE noticed HIM??

Merlin, he was good.

GDLKFGDKLM! He wished her a happy birthday! YES! SHE WAS GOING TO HAVE A HAPPY BIRTHDAY just because he wished that!!!!! With like, the MOSTBIGGEST. GRIN-EST. EVEEEERRRR-EST! she waved back at him enthusiastically!! BEAM!

She quickly turned to face Ella and held her bestie by the shoulders, with Alyssa's gifts still hanging from her hand and with a GDFKGMDKLGMDFL expression on her faaaace. She WHISPERED, glad that everyone else was entertained by some other stuff, TOO BUSY TO HEAR HER! "He said happy birthdaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!" MEEEP! She shook Ella a bit before letting go and rushing to place the last present on the pile. Maybe she should cast a spell over the presents, so they wouldn't get covered with food or something?

But then again, Sophie should have thought about that spell, but she didn't. She was so giddy right now that she just skipped her way back to where she was, gesturing to Mordred to join theem. "You're not glued to the door, right??" She asked, grinning.

Kitchen. The one and only place Messer avoided but now thanks to his Hufflepuff friend he has to step his foot in that place.

Birthday party in the kitchen. How come Sophie want to have a party in the kitchen. Why can't she make it in the common room or the RoR or even the grounds, they have a lot of ground she could used for her birthday party where there won't be house elves running around. He was thinking not to come but its Sophie birthday. It'd be very rude of him if he didn't come. He just need to give Sophie his present and say Happy Birthday to her then leave the kitchen. Sounds like a good plan.

Please don't let the house elves near me. Please. He repeated that sentence over and over again in his head before Messer pushed the door to the kitchen open. He saw a lot of people already arrived even his roommate was there.

The Hufflepuff made his was toward the birthday girl. "Hey, Sophie! Happy Birthday." he gave her a basket full of candies to Sophie. Maybe now its a perfect time for him to leave before someone else noticed he was here or a house elf decided to pop. The horror!
