There! She was finished!

She stepped back to take a look at her Sid and his clean teeth. But she wanted to make sure they were REALLY clean. She got some more twine and wound it around her fingers to floss his teeth again. She did it even more thoroughly and saw in horror that she hadn't done it good enough earlier. But she was doing it good this time. When she finished flossing between every single one of Sid's teeth, she stepped back again to take a look. They looked better. His pointy vicious teeth looked clean, but that made them look even more vicious.

Adarian put the tooth brush on the work bench next to the Geranium. He was finally done. Those fangs never looked so white, nor it's breath so minty fresh. He sighed with a feeling of accomplishment running through him. He gathered up the used floss in his gloves and deposited it in the nearest trash bin. He then took off the gloves and flexed his tired sweaty hands. "Professor, I think I'm finally done." he stood by his plant admiring it. Even flesh eating plants looked better when clean.

Nodding "Good idea." he replied about asking professor Bentley if the plant started waking at all. Yeah he wasn't wanting to have to replace his wand either incase it was capable of snapping anything in its jaws. Plus he didn't really want to be in the way if it did snap anything 'cause it'd probably send pieces of whatever it was flying as well! "Thet was me thoughts as well. The brush will keep ye at a distance from even getting cut by the teeth by touching them. They sure look sharp enough."

Nodding as she stepped closer to the plant he took a deep breath clenching each end of the floss in each hand, stepping closer as well. "Here goes." Stretching out his hands a little so he wasn't super close incase it snapped, he started at one side of the lower teeth. As the plant shuddered he jumped nearly a foot backwards.

YIKES!

Pulling his hands back his eyes widened nearly squealing aloud. Realizing the plant probably was just reacting to the touch of the floss he moved forward again slowly reaching to start flossing the next tooth.

Minerva finally finished brushing the teeth and she laid the toothbrush down on the table. She rechecked the geraniums teeth just to make sure they were clean. When she decided they were clean she moved on to the floss. She pulled the string as far as she thought she needed. Was that long enough she thought, Minerva then took it near the plant and measured to make sure she had enough of the floss to do in between all those little teeth. She pulled the string until it came apart from the rest of the roll. Wrapping the ends around her gloves she went to the very back of the geraniums mouth.

Minerva took the string and went in between the last two teeth and pulled up, seeing particles fly up out of its mouth Minerva frowned "Yuck, flesh just got flung at me. That's gross" she moved away and tried to do it at a different angel. That was all she needed flesh all over her from the floss flicking it out of the plants mouth.

Oichi cleaned her tooth bush and applied toothpaste and then lunged at the geranium again and began to brush it's teeth again. Shecould hear it's snoring and feel it's slight movement. It was a bit un-nerving but she kept going. She wanted to get it done. She finished half the teeth on the geranium before she noticed that the tooth brush had to be cleaned again. She smiled as she backed away from the plant and smiled. I am getting closer and closer to being done with this crazy task.

Harvey was brushing the top teeth when Minnie cracked into a little tune just enough that she could hear.. but at some points he could hear her singing too.. and for some odd reason he began to brush in tune with her singing and soon no matter how hard he tried he could not get that tune out of his head to stop brushing to that tune. But none-the-less he continued brushing to get those teeth nice and clean... and soon he was done with the brushing and decided it was time to start flossing.. so he put the brush down and picked up the flossing twine

He rolled out a bit and picked up his wand and pointed it at his twine and chanted the spell he had heard others say even though he knew it was right it was still good to hear that others were using it as well "Diffindo" he said as he cut that piece of twine and held it in his two hands and started running the twine between the geraniums' teeth.. getting out all the food and things that had been stuck there since its last meal.. he looked at the geranium to make sure that it was still asleep and not like Minnie's Mr Fangs who had woken up to thank her.

Minerva had done one side with the floss when she realized that her floss was really really gross. "EWWWWW" she said holding the floss. She moved it to the table and pulled at the floss again. Once she pulled the floss it broke off the roll. Good thing the floss was just like human floss, well maybe it was the same to be honest it looked it. So it was easy to break.. Once she broke the floss she went back to putting it in between the geraniums teeth. She moved through it's mouth making sure to get every spot.

As she finished up she looked around making sure she didn't miss a step. Nope it looked like she was finished. She gently closed the mouth of the geranium "Ok Mr. Fangs I think your fresh and clean. No more flesh mouth for you.' she giggled a bit. Then took the two pieces of gross floss and found the trash to throw them away. Once they were thrown away she put the floss roll back into the place she had retrieved it from when starting and put up her hand. "Professor am I allowed to use my wand to clean the fleshy pieces off the toothbrush for you or is there a sink I could do it in? I could clean other toothbrushes while I'm doing mine if you would like."

Alyssa continued to keep an eye on Oakey as she finished up flossing the left lower side of the Pirahna Plant's teeth. Now she started working on the upper left side. She twirled the used yucky strand of thread around her right finger, while releasing more from her left and then she stuck the minted floss in between the gap of the teeth and leaned forward to pull the thread back and forth between inside the gap. Again she could see small meaty stuff getting dislodged from in between the teeth and almost gagged. She tried to think of other things less disgusting but all she could think about was food and she almost gagged again. If she didn't finish up this job quickly, Alyssa realized that she would end up not eating anything tonight, so she decided that she needed to speed up the flossing process for this side of the plant's mouth.

She removed the floss thread from the back gap, twirled that portion around her right finger and then stuck the unused section of the floss in between the next gap of teeth. She pulled back and forth until she was sure that the area was thoroughly clean of food. It was then that she realized that Milton must be getting tired by now holding the plant's mouth open while she had been flossing the teeth, so she turned and said to him.

"Milton, I can take over holding the mouth while you finish brushing the teeth Somehow I don't think that I'm going to be able to convince Oakey to do it properly."

By this point, Sierra and her partner had gotten a fair amount of the teeth cleaned. Still, there were more to be cleaned. Sierra twisted her body sideways to get a better angle on the brushing process. She scrubbed the brush against a particularly nasty, yellow tooth. "This is disgusting," she mumbled to her partner. She got the back of the teeth, as well. She had a feeling Bentley would notice if she missed that.

When that tooth was clean, Sierra moved on to another tooth. She repeated the process, scrubbing up and down and all around. Finally, she'd gotten at least half the teeth and left the other half for her partner. "I'll go ahead and start flossing the ones we've cleaned," she said, putting away the brush and reaching for the flossing material. "Merlin, this stuff looks more like rope than floss..." Nevertheless, she got a good-sized piece off the spool and began to thread it through the plant's teeth.

After nearly losing a finger to the plant, Kaiden had to resist the urge to flick the plant on its little plant head. "Alright, lets do this." he said to himself, just as much as the plant. Putting some plant toothpaste on the brush, he stuck it in its mouth, and started to scrub its teeth. HE started with the teeth in the back of its mouth. "your teeth dirty." he said, as the plants teeth started whitening up.

Addie smiled when the girl accepted Addie as her partner. "Nice to meet you also Selina," she said with a smile. Another Selina different from the head girl.

Addie grabbed a big toothbrush thing to brush the plants teeth. This was going to be disgusting. Whatever Herbology is what it is. "So we just brush the plants teeth?" Addie asked as she took the toothbrush and began to move back and forth on the sedated plant. This was just weird. Brushing a plants teeth. Never in a million years would Addie imagine herself doing that. Addie stepped back. "Your turn," she said to Selina.

Onto flossing now. That sounded worse than brushing! Sophie got the floss and looked at it closer. It was quite nice looking! She liked the colors.

She looked back at the flesh eating plant and got to work. With a small piece of floss, she carefully placed it in between the plant's teeth and pulled it out. Geesh, that was actually a little hard! And gross.

She kept doing the same thing over and over with the teeth of lower part of the plant's mouth. This was taking her foreveeeer because it was a little complicated and she wanted to make it right. The poor plant needed dental care and Sophie was the one that should help her. Maybe professor Bentley wouldn't have enough time to take personal care of all those plants by herself, so Sophie was the one who should floss it all nice and pretty.

Yuck. It was just gross! When she was done with the lower part, she got a clean piece of floss. Taking a deep breath, Sophie started working on the upper part of the plant's mouth with a disgusted face. Bleeeergh!

This was pretty gross, even for him. The stuff that was coming out of this little plants mouth was not for the faint hearted. What sort of flesh did these thing eat anyways? But the teeth in the flower head he was currently working on were finally turning white. It was time to move on the the next flower head in his pot. This head was way more docile than the first one he had worked on. Again, he started scrubbing at the back of the mouth, and worked his way forward.

Seren had noticed some sort of commotion occurring through the eyes on the back of her head, because ALL teachers had those, special implants they were... she could have sworn she saw a flying Odessa. Now that was certainly not supposed to happen. Was there something wrong? Had the plant woken? Where they in danger? ... Why no screaming? Despite not hearing her name, she had turned to the group which had caught her attention. West, Aspen and João.
"You three," she called out, eyeing them as she approached. "What's going on?" In other words, explain yourselves and make it quick.
She spared the plant a look. It was safe.. thank Merlin for them.





Seeing Gideon approach, Seren gave him a nod, then turned her attention to the room.

"You're attention please class.... if there is still someone without a partner, I've found you one. If not, could an established partner please accept a third? It'll mean less scrubbing for you." .. more hands, less work. It all made sense. Now to wait and see who stepped forward.

"Ooohhhhh yay! Well done!" she replied brightly, heading over to admire the first years work. A very good effort. Those pearly whites could do some damage now.

"You're very welcome dear, so pleased you enjoyed it." She giggled a little at the mention of appreciation for dentists. It was important work after all.

Was she not familiar with the process yet?
"If you are able to, then of course you may use magic... if yoou don't now how, the you use the sink by the entrance." Simple simple.

Silvia scrubbed the last tooth of the fanged geranium. There, finished with that part. She picked up her wand and used scourgify to clean the brush, then set the brush aside. Now for the flossing. Silvia didn't like flossing herself, but it had to be done. She reached for the roll of flossing twine, unrolled a long piece of it, and broke it off. The flossing twine was mint flavored, so she hoped it would help with the smell.

She had to move in closer to the plant to floss its teeth than she did with brushing. Silvia tried not to think about the danger this plant would pose if it weren't sedated as she reached her hands inside its mouth with the floss. She started on the bottom left and slowly made her way around the front, making sure to do her best, despite not taking much pleasure in the activity.

Almost done now... there, Sophie, you can do this! She kept telling herself. These little pieces of flesh that were coming out of in between the plant's teeth were stinky! Blaargh!

She had stuck her tongue out and was really concentrated now. That way she could be done with that faster! Some teeth were really close to each other, making it harder for Sophie to floss. She was glad the plant was sedated... she was sure it wouldn't be appreciating what Sophie was doing to its mouth.

There!! Done flossing! Thank goodness! She dropped the gross floss and stared at the plant's mouth for a bit, checking if she had left any dirty spot. She brushed it one last time - just to make sure - and decided she was really done now.

Noticing that some other students were already leaving, Sophie got up, pulled out her wand and cleaned her working station. It was so much easier to use a spell to clean stuff up! She really liked being back at Hogwarts for this special reason as well! Hehe!

"I hope it likes my job!" She said happily to professor Bentley. "You too, professor! I hope you like it!" Because it had been kind of nastyy! But if she pleased the plant - and then professor Bentley - she was happy. Although she knew she would never choose to have a flesh eating plant of her own... "See you around, professor Bentley!" And waving goodbye, Sophie left the greenhouse.

So apparently the younger kid wasn't going to be of much help. Milton glared at him briefly. "Get over yourself," he said with a bit of attitude. And the kid seriously looked like he was going to pass out. It was probably better if he did; that way he wasn't wasting space. It was a sedated plant, for Merlin's sake. It wasn't going to kill him. Or even hurt him at all. He was being such a pansy. And Milton was being mean and irritable.

Milton watched as the Hufflepuff girl took charge of all the flossing. Luckily the floss was mint because the mouth of that thing smelled rancid. It was getting better though. Milton wasn't being a sissy about it though. He kind of liked Herbology and all the business about plants. It was rather intriguing.

After Milton had been holding the plant's mouth open for a while, he heard the Puff suggest they switch places again. Milton nodded and let her hold the mouth open. Picking the giant toothbrush back up, Milton scrubbed and scrubbed, glad to see a change finally happening. It was looking much better than before. And didn't smell as bad.

Scrub, scrub, scrub..."

I-I'm fine Lyss Oakey said her name in short again, which was really odd even to Oakey.


Maybe if I just concentrate well enough on something else, I can pull through this. Oakey thought, He turned his head to look for something else to watch but all he saw were more students cleaning Evil Piranha Plants. He looked quickly to his other side and just saw more of the same, well mostly. He also caught a quick glimpse of a first year headbutting someone, but that quickly left his train thought. He turned again and again until it seemed that the room was spinning around him. Then the spinning stopped and he saw who he believed to be the Ravenclaw boy that Alyssa and he had partnered up with...only his head had been replaced with the Piranha Plant's. He felt himself falling, Perfect. he thought I hadn't actually planned on fainting for real Then everything went black.

Looking up at him she couldn't help but recognize him as that guy from the train station. He had helped her cross the platform to 9 3/4 and she was grateful and he needed help.

He needed a WISE girl to be his partner. Mmmmhm. Maybe a first year wasn't the best choice but she was determined to say thaaaaaank you to the guy with the super thick accent.

Taking a few steps closer she tugged on the back of his robes as tapping his shoulder was out of the question unless she had a stool with a booster seat, a step ladder or some insane magical device to make her float...like a flying carpet.

Aw too bad she didn't have a broom right? Well she couldn't use it anyway - what with the insane rules regarding them.

"Excuse me" she chirped up at him her little voice sounding no larger than a fledgling bird.

Most of the students appeared to be too absorbed in their work to respond. Though at least someone had approached them.. a first year though?

She watched as the girl tugged on Gideons robes...
"Yes?" she asked, offering the little Eagle a smile. Was she volunteering?

Then she turned to Gideon and smiled. "I heard you asking about partnering and its my way of saying hey thanks for helping me get through the platform way back when on the train" she smiled over to him..."so if you need a partner still i'm offering my help. Name's Amelia Johanson you can call me Mia, Mika - anything really" she was still smiling that confident I'm an ambitious first year (I'M GOING TO TAKE OVER THE WORLD) smile.

There was nothing wrong with a first year that had confidence.

Silvia continued to floss around the bottom teeth, and soon was flossing the top row. She had become less wary of the flesh-eating plant, trusting that Professor Bentley had given it plenty of sedative to last the entire class, and her momentary pauses to check that the plant remained still had nearly ceased.

After finally reaching the end of the top row with the floss, she made a quick inspection to ensure that the fangs were as clean as possible. "There you go," she muttered to the flesh-eating plant as she closed its mouth, glad to be finished. Then she disposed of the flossing twine and made sure her work area was clean. "I'm finished," she said.

So the little one WAS offering her assistance. That was rather brave of her, shame she wasn't a Lion. Oh well.
"I'm fine with that, you're call Gideon," she added leaving the two to sort things out.

It seemed as though she was needed elsewhere...

Approaching another group, she peered down at Oakey.
"What happened here?" He didn't have a heart attack did he? He looked more like he was sleeping, or something.

Left right left right left right aaaaaaaaaaaand... circular motions clockwise across the top and then counter clockwise going back across...

Kurumi sort of wished they had one of those hourglass timers, the ones with the colorful sand in them. Her and her brothers used one, with red sand, whenever they were brushing their teeth in the morning and evening. Ryunosuke always turned it over the moment they were in the bathroom to make the brushing time shorter though. He was always cutting corners.

Right...she was brushing this carnivorous plant's fangs. Ahem.

Working on the back fangs now on the lower half of its mouth, Kurumi nodded when Penny went into a bit more detail. "Ah yes," she nodded, almost finishing up the fangs. "Still, it's a shame that their saliva doesn't produce some sort of enzyme to fight that. Or, you know, that their saliva is like that of dog's, able to heal wounds of their own kind." Hmmm....that seemed like an interesting research topic come to think of it. Maybe she could study some of Xavier's saliva sometime. She would have to ask Professor Bentley after the lesson.

Brushing over the last fang on the bottom, Kurumi quickly did one last sweet over the gum line before removing her gloved hand from its mouth and setting the brush down. "Do you want to try flossing?" Kurumi had already had plenty of practice doing so with Xavier, so it wasn't like she needed this time to practice more. "It really isn't too bad...once you get past the smell." And the idea that it might try to chomp off your arm.
