Nothing makes a music festival as entertaining as it is without some dancing, of course. Close by the main stage is an open area of the street that has been magically transformed to look as if it filled with fresh, field grass. There are benches spread about in a circle-like arrangement for those that wish to sit yet, for the party rockers that wish to dance, there is an open dancing space between all the benches. Blankets have also been placed on the odd spot here and there for those that wish to enjoy the night picnic style.
For those that are of higher importance and are VIPs, a wide tent-marquee has been set up amongst the benches. Here it is likely you may see any well known wizard that can afford such privileges or, more excitingly so, you may see a performer taking a break. This tent has been filled with luxurious couches and fancy tables to make you feel as comfortable as you can.
Either way, whether you’re inside the VIP tent or whether you’re sitting outside by the grass, the main stage is visible to all even with the roaring crowd straight ahead. So dance along, or sit and relax whilst you enjoy the rhythm of the night.
Kalla gave a great shrug about his modesty comment. "They also say a lot of other things are becoming. I'd rather be myself, though." She gave him a wink and a grin at that. He fell for her being herself so why woukd she ever be anything elae? "I love you, too," she said as she turned slightly in his arms to beam at him. And she did. She really loved him.
Giggling she squirmed in his arms as he tickle assaulted her. "Okay okay I'll stop. You're with me because I'm pretty and fun. Not because of what I have or who I am." Or something like that. She knew ivan wasn't as shallow as he looked. Hahaha. But she kept that scathing remark to herself.
She sat for a moment seeming to think before she burst out laughing. "Yes I can properly dance, Ivan. I had to suffer ballroom classes and the lot. I had to do society events and galas." She gavr a littlw snortle as she wiped at her eyes. Too funny.
"I can't wait to meet your family. I'll introduce you to some of mine soon enough. Not my parents, though. I'm freezing them out at the moment. Aunts and Uncles definitely. Oh... I forgot to mention I am supposed to take my little cousin and his boyfriend on an adventure this summer. I promised... would you like to go with us? We'll be traveling. They're really good kids though. Not at all annoying."
Well wasn't that true enough. He remembered how many times his own mum wished he'd be more like Miles and smiled, "I wouldn't want you to be anything other than yourself." He looked at her as she said she loved him with that huge smile and matched it with his own smile. He could honestly say he hadn't been this happy in a long time and that frankly terrified but also pleased him. Everyone deserved a little happiness right?
He stopped tickling her when she gave in and laughed, "Precisely. And you're with me because I'm devilishly good looking and just plain awesome in all aspects." He gave her a wink and pushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
Then she was laughing...what it had been a serious enough question after all. Miles had two left feet when it came to dancing and he was pretty sure if Fia didn't hold him up he'd just trip over himself every time. Now there was an amusing image. "Alright...prove it to me." He eased her off of his lap and stood up. Offering her a bow he held his hand out to her with a smile.
"I'd love to meet your family." Wasn't that a big step. Well for him it was maybe not for her. "About that..." he said shifting his feet. "I'm leaving the military." He hadn't exactly told Gregor that but he intended to. "Thought I should tell you before I did it. They offered me a promotion but...seems my priorities have changed a bit." He looked at her and smiled, "So yes, I'd love to travel with you all." And Gregor was going to be maaaaaaaaaad. Maybe he could offer up some treat before he gave the bad news.
Looking around as she ate a slice of her pizza, Penelope finally spotted West a little ways away. How had she not noticed him before? Swallowing her bite of pizza, she grinned and waved back but then-
-something hit her shoes and her feet felt very wet. Merlin's beard, what...?
Penelope turned to find a cup and a girl at her feet. Oh, just a spilled drink then? That was o-
Cutie? Huh? Who? She took a split second to look around, wondering if the girl was talking to someone else...but no one else was really all that close by? So...huh.
Anyway.
"S'alright," she said, wiggling her feet a little to get some of the liquid off. Which didn't really work since most of it seemed to have seeped in already. But a quick Scourgify or something would probably fix it just fine. Though would she have to take off her shoes to clean it all? Hmm. "No worries, it happens." Spilled drinks weren't uncommon, so it wasn't anything to freak out about.
Dani felt so duumb. She was normally...not..this clumsy. Oops. Luckily the girl wasn't being a jerk about it--being all nice and stuff. Dani whipped out her wand, though, and did her best with a drying spell--you know--magic was really very handy. Dani didn't know how muggles did it. It was probably why she was going on to study more about them in Uni.
Ahem. Secretly, of course. Father Morganzo couldn't know anything about all...that.
Also. Dani definitely frightened her with her...sentiments. Oops. She..well...the girl WAS cute so MERLIN--she just brushed herself off and stood up. "I can pay you back for the shoes you know..if they're ruined or anything..." Dani felt BAD. Her shoes were dry, at least. Because Dani was quite HANDY with her wand. "I--yeah--oops--I promise I don't usually trip over things--" Gosh. And she had gone to Beauxbatons for SO long that she was used to apologizing in FRENCH.
Merlin. Maybe she was just a MESS without Tabby here.

Amd his agreement that she should just be herself made her smile wider still. He appreciated her for who she was, flaws and all. THAT was not something she was used to. It seemed even her "friends" judged her lately. Strictly speaking she wasn't sure she actually had any friends anymore... but that didn't matter since she had Ivan.
"You're right, babe. And you buy me pretty things." Jokes, she had them. She leaned her face into his hand as he pushed the stray hair back. "I'm not sure what I did to deserve you, but I'm not letting you go."
What... wait... he wanted her to ballroom dance? Right now? This music was NOT suited to it. But what Ivan wanted ge got. Shrugging she took his hand and dipped into a proper curtsy. Now she'd just let him lead her...
...he was leaving the military? So he was going to be able to spend time with her now?! Like come to matches and take holidays and all kinds of fun stuff? A smile crept I to her face and she launched herself into his arms. "Oh Ivan that's amazing!"

Ivan laughed and gave her a nod, "Yes and buy you pretty things." He ran his thumb over her cheek as she leaned against his hand. "Well that's good to hear. I'm not letting you go either."
He watched as she curtsied but before he could pull her closer he found her jumping into his arms. He laughed and held onto her. "Glad you approve." He spun her around and gave her a kiss, "Thought you might like that." And it helped that he realized that he had only agreed to go into it in the first place because his Uncle made him and he had been extremely unhappy. Now he most definitely was happy.
"Now...dancing..." he let go of her slowly until her feet hit the ground and he held onto her hand. He slowly started humming and then sung quietly in a waltz beat, "Take my hand..I'll take the lead, and every turn will be safe with me. Don't be afraid, afraid to fall, you know I'll catch you through it all..." As he sang he slowly moved in a waltz with a smile.

"I'm really good, we're performing tomorrow, yeah. Afternoon." He grinned and nodded as she continued talking. My my my she was excitable wasn't she? It was awesome!
Okay, was she done? Perfect. "Talk as much as you like, of course you can have an autograph, and yes, Odin is his real name." Shriek, however, wasn't. But he wasn't going to say that out loud, they were both very guarded about their true full names... He took a pen out of his pocket - yes, he carried them around, who knew when you were going to have to sign something? - and glanced at the poster with a grin, before taking it and signing it with a flourish. "The others are... around, I think. D'you want me to take this with me in case you don't see them? I'll have them sign it and send it back to you?"
Okay okay, it seemed overly gracious, but Charlie Black was known for how much he loved the fans. He would do anything for them. Well... not anything... but a lot of things, yep.
Marigold's hands were cold and shaking a bit because HER IDOL. RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. TALKING WITH HER.
WHEN HE TOOK THE POSTER HIS HAND BRUSHED HER HOLY MERLIN.
"COOL! I mean, yeah, cool. I'll see you tomorrow onstage, then?" WOW. WAY TO BE CASUAL, MCALISTOR. She was just SO GLAD she had managed to come. If she had missed this, it would've been DEVASTATING.
HE WAS SAYING IT WAS OKAY TO TALK ASDFGHJKL. "SORRY! Heh, I just talk a LOT when I'm excited! Which I am!" In case he couldn't tell by her BROAD GRIN AND BOUNCING HEELS!
"ODIN IS A SUPER COOL NAME!!!" she said, wiggling slightly, then "!!!!!! YES PLEASE! That would be super awesome! And in case you have to owl it back, I'm.. uh… MarigoldMcAlistor… yeah… THANK YOU SO MUCH ALSO COULD YOU SIGN MY HAND!?" She held out her right hand with glee. She wasn't weird, just extremely excited because this could be a ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!
She might've hugged him around the middle a few times but it's all good. She's calm.
Abby always loved festivals, she had been to a few over the years and they never ceased to amaze her. As she stepped in, she could feel the music vibrating through her bones, the rhythm catching her feet and making her dance-walk across the floor. Yeah, she would really enjoy this.
She looked around for a familiar face but she couldn't find any. No biggy, she thought, I'll just have fun by myself. And with that she waved her tattoo covered arms up, shook her tousled silver hair, some of the tattooed images on her arms and back dancing to the music as well.

The drying spell was definitely helpful, so that was nice. Her feet even felt a bit drier too, though they did still feel a bit sticky from whatever the drink had been. So maybe taking her shoes off was needed.
"Nah, they're fine," Penelope said, shaking her head. They hadn't been brand new and it'd probably take more than a spilled drink to ruin them, so the girl didn't need to pay her for them or anything. Starting to work on getting her shoes off, she laughed a little at the girl's next comment. "So I'm one of the lucky few who got to see you trip? Thanks." Not that she'd actually seen her trip since she'd been distracted at the time but...yeah. She was just teasing so pretend she did. Just trying to lighten the mood and be nice or something.

After finishing his signature with a squiggle to underline it, Charlie looked back up at the girl. "I'll look out for you. Might be able to see you if you get somewhere down the front." He gave her a big smile. There would be lots of moments for fangirls to swoon over him, oh yeah..
He just nodded at her being excited, thinking it was totally understandable to be excited when you were in the presence of such a magnificent wrock god. As for Odin. "I'll tell him that, he'll appreciate it." Probably. It was better than the rest of them begging him to name his first son Thor. "Marigold McAlistor, got it." He jotted the name down in small letters on the back of the poster.
That was one of the more innocent places he'd been asked to sign... and he never refused a fan an autograph. "Sure thing. Just wait until you're of age to get it tattooed on, okay? I don't want to get in trouble." He flashed her a grin as he took the girls hand and carefully signed his name. He had lots of tattoos and was under the impression everyone should try it at least once, but he didn't want to get in trouble with anyone's parents for encouraging it...

"So that was fun."
No really, it was. No sarcasm was being meant here.
After disappearing for a bit, Grayson headed back into the main hubbub of the event, holding onto a certain Slytherin's hand. Didn't care if anyone saw and he certainly didn't care what they thought of it. Dude had become slightly more protective of the girl he was walking with back into the scene of things at the festival, especially after recent events.
Oh look! TDK were playing! Brilliant timing, man, brilliant timing. Imaginary pats on the back for you, Grayson Whitlock. And look at the atmosphere around the place! Maaaaaaan! Whitty was eating it all up because music festivals were the BEST places to be.
The crowd near the stage? Lulz, not going THERE. "C'mon, the stage area looks way too busy," he said, tugging her over towards a seating area instead. This was probably better for the girl AND might be preferred because of the sixth year's love for dancing. See? He totally paid attention when he cared. It was also a good idea to keep her as far away from Nigel as possible. Not that he'd get JEALOUS -- psh, talk about freaking nonsense-- but he knew that she wouldn't take it well to be so close to him.
"You wanna take a seat or dance?" he asked, glancing over towards the fellow Slytherin and giving her an eyebrow!wiggle. Decision was aaaaaaaall yours, Ruby Banner.

Smiling at Grayson, Ruby adjusted her hair a bit with her free hand, making sure there wasn't anything caught in it and that it hadn't got too mussed. Hair had to be perf in public after all. And it was, of course.
"It always is, babe." And like honestly the day could only get better, right? She could hear TDK playing, that first song she actually knew since she'd been at their practices more than once and everything, and the second was one of their standard covers too, she liked that Vesper was singing it instead of her cousin this time. But yup, she was content to hang around back here where there was space to dance and not be crushed by people. They wouldn't forget she was totally an original fangirl after all, even if her particular appreciation of Nigel had totally cooled off in recent times for reasons. A whole ton of reasons, actually. She was therefore totally willing to be tugged along wherever Grayson saw fit to go... because he was smart enough to know where she would prefer to be. Ruby would tell him otherwise if that wasn't the case, nooo problems.
"Ooooh lets dance!" It was nice to be able to, really. She'd had to take it kind of easy lately. This was also the first time she'd been out anywhere in a while. Ruby hadn't been up to it, and had needed some time to herself to kind of regroup and recover. Not that she was all the way... back to herself, but on the way at least, thanks to Grayson really.
Yup. He was a good friend. Among other things.
She gave him an appreciative smile and then it was her turn to do the tugging. Dance floor! And then maybeeee she'd see some of her friends? Maybe they'd see some of their mutual friends, who she felt kind of bad about neglecting lately even if it had been kind of necessary. And he'd probably want to check out the food right? And she was considering a piercing... was the body art station doing piercings though? But for now, dancing. Smiling bigger than she had in weeks, Ruby closed her eyes and tossed her head back, letting the music run through her body.

Louisa couldn't help but laugh at his failing attempt to be edgy. She enjoyed the closeness, a level of intimacy with a stranger was mysterious and alluring, she missed this feeling. It was the first time in months since she experienced something exciting and challenging-- the boring routine her life had fallen to after her graduation was making her miserable and cynical. But this, she needed this and so she let herself dance with him with no concern of a repercussion. She was wild but she rarely showed it. Like right now.
He seemed to be enjoying himself as well, though not at all edgy, he was cute and when he turned around and did a bum wiggle, Louisa let out another loud laugh and she simply imitated him; Turning around and slithering her way down then up finishing with a bum wiggle just like his. She was smiling now, it was a bit mischievous but a smile nonetheless. "Names will create a barrier between us, let's have a bit more fun first." She shouted back, and let her arms back on his shoulders once again.
When the song ended and another started, Louisa realized how hot it was in here, her hair was already sticking to her neck and cheeks, but she cared not for how she looked but how much she was enjoying herself. She stopped dancing to take a breather, and laughed once again. "Do you really want to know my name? I'd rather this dance remains as sweetly vague as a fantasy, like a nice dream where details don't matter." She didn't want to know his name, to be honest. She didn't mind having more fun with him, either, but not knowing things about him meant this was probably going to turn from a sweet fantasy to a headache. She was tired of headaches.
Józsua just grinned watching as the she imitated his bum wiggle.. with extra style. Oh, so she was going to play it like that, was she? Amused, Józsua took his turn to imitate her, slithering down and then up again. For someone who freely admitted he sucked at sports and wouldn't run unless something was chasing him, he was pretty flexible when it came to dancing. His inhibitions were lost when there was music and he could let go and dance. Plus this woman was drawing out his cheeky/confident side and he liked the feeling. He liked feeling free of his usual anxieties and lack of self-confidence.
No names then? She liked an air of mystery? His eyes glinted and he said something to her in Hungarian knowing people found it all mysterious. If she wanted mystery, then she could have it.
She was right though. The fact that they were just dancing together, not knowing any details about each other other (other than she had the moves and he could speak another language), was adding to Józsua's feelings of freedom. It was easier to be like this around a complete stranger. You could pretend to be someone else just for a little while. “Fine, Ms No Name.” He shouted above the music, his hands finding their way to her waist. Pretty girl with no name. He was enjoying himself immensely.
The song came to an end and, boy, was he hot now. He blew his hair out of his face which had fallen across his brow. Phew.
He shook his head to that question, his hands dropping to his sides and he shrugged. “I would.” He said contradicting the head shaking. “But.. maybe not yet.” Not if she didn't want to. “You can tell me later, mystery girl.”--Woman.. Hmm.. and that sounded like a pick up line. He smiled widely, pleased he was already hot to disguise a blush. “I mean.. before we go our separate ways.” Nice save..... The music had started up again. He hoped Olly was alright on her own. Euh.. that queue for food must've been a nightmare.....
He reached out his hand. “Another dance?” He smiled brightly.
Emrys chuckled. "I don't think she needs me to show her any tricks," he said, looking past Louisa to see Amelia... being pulled on stage. Merlin. Of course. "She seems to have that all sorted on her own. Gryffindor." Amelia was her own person, fiercely independent, and certainly didn't take anything Emrys said to heart. Or at least, he didn't think so, anyway.
That was certainly a way to look at it that Emrys hadn't considered. Every time someone asked what he did, all he saw was monotony and wasted potential, but absolutely no idea how to move forward from there. "I suppose. And not too often. Sometimes when he's not sure a source will be fruitful, I preview it so he can decide whether it's worth his time." But that happened rarely. Emrys didn't quite think the man trusted his opinion.
"No one has ever accused me of being cool before," he laughed, lightly, trying to relax. Just a little, please. "I don't get out much, though..." and he gestured vaguely in the direction Amelia had gone off. "She keeps trying to set me up. Filled out forms for a matchmaker, for merlin's sake." So Emrys had maybe had one date in months. And while it wasn't the worst experience in the world, he was still feeling weird about it.
What were social skills, again?
Louisa followed Emrys' gaze back to the main stage where she, too, saw the little girl who was here badgering him a few moments ago now being pulled up on stage with the playing band. She laughed, "No, I guess not." She was doing splendid on her own. "Maybe she would show you some tricks then." Louisa corrected herself with another laugh. In all honesty, Amelia was slowly reminding Louisa of her young, teenage self. She was a bit uptight when she was twelve but as she grew up away from her magical-hating family, Louisa gained that wild and intensely independent personality. Just like Amelia, it seemed. But Louisa's personality had a hint of intellectual sarcasm due to her Ravenclawness, Amelia... hmm. "Does she go to Hogwarts? Is she like us?" A Ravenclaw? Louisa doubted it, which was why she was asking.
Aaaah, see, that was the interesting part of his job, in her opinion. "That's interesting. You should focus on this while juggling the other regular things he assign to you." She encouraged him with a nod. "Do you have a five-year plan or something? Like, in five years, I'll be doing this and that, or I'll be this or that." She had a life plan, in case he was wondering.
Oh! A matchmaker! Louisa laughed with him, and nodded, "I sent in my application once too. I like to go on dates, it doesn't have to be serious, just getting to know people and secretly judging them while being hit on. It's not half-bad if I could say so myself!" She grinned. And if the other person was hot enough, you'd have a good time looking at them. It was all a win-win, really. "Unless you're ready to settle down and find the one, then... in that case, yeah, dating could be stressful." Louisa squinted her eyes at him trying to read him. He didn't look like the 'fun' kinda guy, he was too sweet and nice to be like that.
Actually... he... he reminded her of one sweet, adorable, witty Ravenclaw boy... that she loved so dearly one time, but she didn't dare bring his face or name on her mind now, that was how she usually got jittery.

Okay, okay, okay, this guy... wherever he came from or whatever heaven he fell from was the one tonight. It was so easy eliciting a fun reaction from him, they were communicating in body language and he got what she was challenging him to do. Louisa laughed at their little 'bum-wiggle off' and when he leaned in to say something foreign to her, her smile widened and she stared at his mouth where the word came from for a moment. Ohhhh, this was even better than she expected.
He looked particularly fresh and young when he pushed his sticky hair out of his face, she tucked her hair into a messy bun while she tried to study his face, but it was awfully difficult with this dim lighting. What he said did get her full attention, though, away from face reading. Louisa was so pleased he was with her about this whole no-names strategy, she usually would have to give out a fake name if the guy insisted on one, but being honest with the fun guy over here felt good and promising. "Okay. I owe you a name at the end of our fun night." She subtly flirted with him, not realizing his first pickup line wasn't intentional. "Before we go our separate ways, I mean." And also imitated his nice save, but she was teasing him with a smirk now.
She took his hand and chuckled at his smile. "We need to teach you how to smile less." His smile was contagious, Louisa couldn't be edgy and no-smiley when he was being all sunshine and rainbows over here. She'd think of a good teaching method while they danced to this new song.
It was still a fast one so she got closer to him as her body bopped to the fast rhythm, her arms were raised slightly and moving in sync with the rest of her.
"Anticipation is fun, sure, but nothing compares to when I'm up there with guitar strings under my fingers and a song on my lips." West said, suddenly more serious. And it was true, when he was in the music there was nothing better. It felt like anything which troubled him slipped away, and he found some kind of peace. If West had to choose between music and breathing as what most kept him alive, he'd say it was the music.
He ran his fingers through his hair and gathered himself, smiling wryly. "What exactly would I hypothetically be celebrating?" Honestly, if he didn't chicken out later, he'd only be going to see out of curiosity, he sure wouldn't be paying extra for anything. He felt that would be crossing the line, really.
West was about to say something else when he noticed a couple of familiar faces. First, Penelope, who got a big smile and a wave and... what was she doing? Err... hehe. Making a new friend? Right then. He'd catch her when she had a spare moment, but he was glad she had come along to support them... he just wasn't sure if he should point it out to Ascanius or not, if the guy didn't notice her on his own accord that was.
The other familiar faces....
West blinked, smile fading, his usually cool blue gaze filling with something else, something more burning... possessiveness? Anger? Jealousy? Confusion? Maybe all of those? Maybe something else?
...With a concentrated effort, he relaxed his hands from the fists he had unconsciously balled them into, and pressed the flat of each palm against his sides. He'd bitten the inside of his mouth too and now tasted the tang of blood. He could use this. Channel it. On stage. Into his music. It was safe to express it there.
Speaking of which...
"I have to head off, I got a few things to do before its showtime. Catch you some other time yeah? I'll be looking out for you in the crowd." New friend and all, new fan, right? West gave Justine a little salute and then slipped away, he had someone to find. A really important someone.
Justine nodded, though their professions were different, she knew the exact feeling he was trying to convey. Being on stage in front of a crowd and performing, her in acting, and clearly West with his music, there wasn’t anything like it. “I’m sure it doesn’t, nothing beats doing what you love.” It was a rare moment of seriousness for the Canadian girl, but then she was always serious when it came to art, even when it was other people’s.
“The success of your concert, of course,” She said. Wasn’t it rather commonplace for rock stars to go off after shows, wreak havoc, ‘cause mayhem? Then again; West didn’t seem much the destructive type.
She hardly noticed when he shifted his attention from her, she was hearing Jun’s words in her head about not flirting with anyone, they were on replay now, like her conscience had recorded it and then decided to play it on repeat. Internally she was berating herself when she noticed West’s beautiful features shift and his blue eyes clouding over.
Naturally, she was curious to know why, but it was none of her business, considering how little she liked people butting into her own, Justine made it a point to leave others alone.
She grinned, it was more subdued, not as cheeky and it took more effort, but she was managing. “Go do your thing.” She said, nodding to the young man, maybe just a bit disappointed not to have been to spent more time, but perhaps it was for the best. She laughed. “You’ll definitely see me… Bye Rockstar,” She added, saluting West back.
Now to the drink tent.

Scout stood in an area surrounded by people, enjoying the loud, great music. She rocked back in forth on her heels as she smiled and casually people-watched. She loved music, but it felt lonely being there by herself. She was never a person to have many friends, but she felt that this needed to change, and she was at the right place to do it.
She couldn't help but grin at her Aunt, her Spanish was getting better. "Si, Wigg something. Mum likes them." She had heard the songs before as her mum moved around the house cleaning and dancing. It was such a funny sight to see. She went back to looking at the stage until she heard her Uncle, "I can meet some of the bands? Really?" She jumped around in excitement. "I'm going to meet the bands.. I'm going to meet the bands." Oh yeah she was going to be the coolest kid on the block. Wait until her friends heard she got to meet real live band people. So what if they weren't from Spain and most her friends wouldn't know, she was still meeting them.
"Sure, I can help with the food." The faster they got food the faster Isa could go check out the stage. Turning her eyes to another group that came on she couldn't help, but notice they were actually a younger group. The fans yelling was enough to sell her. She had to know this band, they were going to be AWESOME!! "Can I get a Dead Sneazle shirt?" That's what the announcer called them, right? She couldn't really hear over the screaming.
He shook his head as she got the first band wrong and talked about his sister. He felt his niece was aging him talking about music they listened to compared to her. Though she was dancing, so it was not that bad. "They aren't bad." He was just glad she was having fun and laughed as she started getting excited, "Now I don't know if I'm going to fully be able to get backstage, but we can certainly try." He was going to get a few interviews today, but he didn't want to get her hopes up in case he couldn't take her with him. Some of those bands could get very egotistical.
Looking down at Regina as Mariel took her out of her stroller. Smiling as he watched his daughter for a few minutes. "We'll just go see what they have." He still wasn't fully sure, but figured it was nothing that would be good for them, which was okay in his book. He enjoyed the awful for you type of food.
Looking at Isa he was chuckling again, "The Dead Kneazles Isa, that's their name and sure we can get you a shirt if you really want one." He thought it was interesting she was so into the music and bands, though he was glad she was having a good time. He always worried about that when she came to visit. "Alright, let's go get some food." Motioning to the ten year old as he headed that way.
"Yes, Wiggenweld.." Mariel nodded at Isa with a smile. She would suppose that the band named themselves after the potion of the same name for whatever reason, but she didn't follow them enough to really know for sure. But apparently she had been right about them being internationally know as her sister-in-law was reportedly a fan. She chuckled a bit watching the young girl dance to the music and smiled at her excitement as Jorge talked to her about possibly seeing some of the bands up close. Nothing that she personally cared about, but she supposed it was the dream of a tween girl to have an uncle work in media and be able to meet celebrities. "I think Regina and I will hang out here while you two are off getting autographs and quotes."
But for now they could go get some food. She kept her eyes on her daughter as the baby wiggled a bit, perhaps trying to roll over, nodding as Jorge mentioned about seeing what they had to eat. "Pizza sounds good too.. or whatever.." She wouldn't mind some festival food once in a while even knowing it wouldn't be so healthy. Then she looked up as a new band came on. This one was rather loud and she glanced at Isa. "The dead what?" What kind of name was dead sneezles anyway? Looking at her husband, she shook her head and chuckled a bit. The dead kneazles wasn't much better.. was she really so old to think that was an odd choice for a name?
Mariel nodded as they left in search of food then glanced back down at her nearly four month old daughter. Her smile as she talked to her faltered a bit as the baby started to get fussy. "Is it too loud for you?" she asked as she picked the little girl up and rested her against her shoulder, trying to calm her as she cried. "Or are you getting hungry too?"

Takeshi moved to push his glasses up, resulting in him nearly poking himself in the eye because he had utilized a potion today rather than gone natural. Entirely because he wanted to avoid performing this nervous tick of his. Fantastic. Now he would just nearly poke himself in the eye all the time.
"Uh...no..." he said, glancing around nervously and wondering if he had just made a grave mistake. "I'm Takeshi...Takeshi Hollingberry. I'm looking for a Chelsea...who I am sincerely hoping is you."
Otherwise he was just going to go crawl into a hole somewhere.
Was she expecting him to dance like...some of the other people around here. That close? And with rhythm? He had two left feet...in case anyone cared.
Chelsea nearly stepped backwards until she heard the words he had said. Oh. He was…wait? Had she said his name wrong? She blushed and felt her eyes widen as she stood there. “Chelsea? I’m well sorry for that,” she laughed nervously it came out more strained than anything. “I’m sorry for mispronouncing your named then Takeshi,” Chelsea smiled.
“Yes I am, I’m Chelsea,” She kept smiling even if it looked painful or awkward to smile so much she didn’t care. “or…well I am a Chelsea…Chelsea Payne” she admitted before clearing her throat. Where had her boldness gone? Right. It disappeared before she had even tried to show up today or so it had seemed.
“So um…what do you want to do?” They could get food, or sit and talk…that might have been the easiest thing to do really honestly. Sit. Talk. Grab food if they actually ended up getting along.

Oh the Dead Kneazles, well Isa was close and she was digging them. They were so cool and the drummer was cute. The ten year old bounced around and yelled as she walked with her Uncle for food. Hoping the lines wouldn't take a gazillion years and she could get back to watching the band play. Finally coming back with their food she plopped down on the blanket to eat.
"WOOOHOOOO" She wasn't even sure what she was yelling for but everyone else was doing it, so why couldn't she. Shoving more food in her mouth she wanted to be done fast. "When I'm done can I make my way toward the stage?" She had to get up there and see them closer! This was just the coolest day ever!
He squinted and moved his head away from his screaming niece. When did she become such a teenager, she was only ten. No this wasn't happening already, boys should not even be in her thoughts yet, nor wrock bands. He was starting to regret the decision of bringing her, but yet she was having so much fun. Looking at all the food he decided the easiest to carry would be the pizza and he got a few plates with drinks. Looking towards the stage as that band was still going. He might have to move towards the stage to see about some interviews soon, but for now he was still doing family time.
As they got back to the blanket he sat down and set the plate in front of his wife. "She alright?" Not liking that Regina was crying, maybe they should have left her with a sitter for the day. "Isa we will see." It was starting to get dark and he wasn't sure he wanted her up near the stage without them. There were so many people now and so many young teenagers.
"They are kind of loud, aren't they?" He knew it was a concert and it was suppose to be loud, he was just glad they were back a bit further. "Are you having fun?" He wanted to make sure they were all having fun.
A Music Festival was THE place to be. Agatha was going to get her amazing skills all ready for the Camp she was going in a few days and what better place to do that than showing off in a place that was sure to be PACKED?
The Slytherin did flip her hair before approaching the open area where people were allowed to dance. She took a good look at her surrounding and... saw Ruby with stupid Grayson. Urgh. Way to go ruining her mood. But she was ignoring him, REALLY ignoring. Not even shooting glares or frowning or anything that day. No, she was there to have a GOOD time, thank you very much. Hmph.
She walked all the way over to the OTHER side so she wouldn't accidentally end up glancing their way as she danced and turned to face the stage. She needed to feel the music, mhm.

Yeah see, honestly Zander wasn't really the one for a music festival, except apparently everyone was going to this thing, so he just had to check it out duuuuh. HA. That was only the reason that he'd lie and tell people if they asked because really a music festival wasn't really his scene no matter who was going, unless it was someone really, really important. Like Lottie or maybe even Kevin, but something told the (technically!)fifth year that his best mate wouldn't be at this place. Besides, his real reason for showing up to the event had to do with two horrible older brothers that he wanted to avoid for as long as possible. See, they weren't exactly happy about the pranks that Zander may have tried out last summer and revenge... Well, it wasn't so sweet when you were on the receiving end.
And as for the festival? It blows. Well, that's all Zander had gathered so far. The music wasn't terrible, but the food was highly disappointing because none of it was free. And Zander didn't really have much money on him so clearly he had to stay away from that before the smell of pizza became too overwhelming. So here he was, in the middle of this crowded grassy area with no one he even knew. Wait! There was Grayson and-- Actually on second thought... Gonna walk away from them... That was the girl who gave him that Valentines card and it looked like the two of them were getting kinda cozy.
Walking away from the pair, he desperately looked around for another familiar face. Where were his friends and why weren't they-- Oh. He knew that one. The one dancing and facing the stage. And.... She was a familiar face.. Friend? He wasn't all too sure, but she was all he had at the moment. 'Sides, there's something he had to ask her about. Important things. Marching all the way up to her, he raised his hands up and tried to dance along side her, just being casual you know how he does. Ahem. Except he looked utterly and completely ridiculous so yeah, no he was stopping the dancing now. "Agatha," he nodded politely whilst trying to think of the ever so most casualest way ever to ask her about AHEM things. "DIDYOUSNOGSIMON?" 'Cause you know, just checking. It was Agatha Hapgood that Simon was talking about, right? Also tact, Zander did not have that. Well not right now anyways.

Agatha had just started to feel the music and was getting in the mood when suddenly some guy started flailing her arms right next to her. The ballerina slowly turned her head to see who on EARTH that MADman was.
Zander. Of course.
The girl blinked at him and simply stared with a blank expression when he stopped dancing. In fact, she stopped dancing too because what even WAS that? She resisted the urge to ask him if he was ill and waited until he spoke first. "Zander." Was her response to his first word which happened to be her name. He was about to explain himself, probably, because he was... what now? "What?" She couldn't HEAR him because of all that noise, but she sure wanted an explanation for what had just happened.
Please, Merlin, let that not be Zander in his normal state.

Oops. Really he hadn't meant to make her stop dancing, you know? But really this whole dancing thing was way too uncomfortable, so she probably felt ridiculous doing it too. And THAT'S why she stopped dancing, not cause he had just waltz over doing his thing. She was bound to stop anyways and that is exactly why he didn't even feel sorry about it. Just smiling at her 'cause that's what he did when he was trying to hide something. SUPER CASUAL.
The staring was a little unnecessary though. Or maybe he dance moves were just that good? Did she like them? Should he do some moooooreeee? No. He was here on important and very casual business. Ahem. Right. Ah, good so she had remembered his name. The real question was, did she still remember other interactions because sometimes he got the feeling that she thought he was weird or something. But pft, it was only a feeling anyways. How silly of him to even think such a thing. RIGHT?!?
..... Crickets.
Did she need him to say it even louder 'cause this place was pretty packed. And you know, nothing against people who want their love life out in the open, but personally Zander didn't want an entire music festival knowing his snoglife (lol what snog life????). But shrug, if she wanted him to say it even LOUDER he could. "AREYOUINLOVEWITHSIMONHOLDEN?" If she didn't get it this time, he could do an interpretive dance to act it out, though it may or may not be just as silly as the arm flailing. If not worse.
Normally the Gryffindor had some shame. But this was important and desperate times call for desperate measures. They also call for yelling at a girl in front of an entire music festival. Heh.

Sweet Merlin, what was wrong with Gryffindors, REALLY?? Agatha had truly not tried to see through their weirdness to see if there was some deep meaningful qualities in the people of that house, but they were plainly mental.
What with the smiling now? "Are you ill?" She couldn't help it. Look at his face. What was WRONG with him??
And now he was yelling things very clearly. ...Actually, not clearly at all, but she could tell what he was saying now because of the full name he just said. Simon Holden. Of course Zander was asking about the 'incident' with Simon Holden. Agatha just kept her blank expression on as she looked at him.
...
"What?"
Her tone was just as blank as her face. She should go into acting if ballet didn't work out for her. It was obviously going to work out though.
...
Did he KNOW there was a band playing really loud just over THERE? She looked back at the stage because. What kind of a topic was THAT, Adair?

Ill? Noooope the Gryffindor shook his head 'cause he wasn't ill nu uh. Or at least, he didn't think he was ill... Wasn't exhibiting any symptoms at the moment, but you know sometimes illnesses spring up on a person when you least expected them so it was probably-- No. Okay no, he wasn't ill. Just smiling because really he had a lot to interrogate her about and most of them, no all of them, had to do with one of his mates. This was real important business. Totes casual.
....... Still nothing?
Merlin. What did a guy have to do to get a girl to hear him out in the middle of a huge music festival!? Could someone tell the performers to lower the volume or something? Because really this was rather rude. They were trying to have a very casual conversation over here. Kinda inconsiderate. But alas, he kind of knew this moment would come. "DIDYOU--" he started shrugging his head for the "DID" part and then pointed at her for the "YOU" bit, 'cause that was pretty good for a start, right? Now uh, this next part... It would be tricky.
And also uncomfortable. Almost uncomfortable as the dancing from a few minutes prior. But desperate times. So puckering his lips, he brought his hand closer to his face and gave it one nice smack "SNOG--" and last but not least... Uh. He'd just have to yell this part louder 'cause he didn't have any way to show a Simon to her face "SIMONHOLDEN?" And if this didn't work then he'd just have to ask the band to quiet down because this was crucial.

Agatha watched his little performance without moving a muscle of her face - or body. She did blink here and there, especially when he kissed his own hand. Wow. That wasn't something you saw everyday.
The Slytherin finally squinted her eyes the slightest. Zander was asking about snogs. Actually, she had heard somethingabout him asking for snogs even... was that something he still did? The girl squinted her eyes even more when he yelled Simon Holden's name once more. Her thoughts weren't fully on her housemate, however. She was thinking about the boy right in front of her. He was actually not bad looking at all. And desperate for snogs, was he...?
Hm...
But no. If Agatha did kiss him right there he would definitely open his big mouth and tell the entire world - including Simon - and that would be all of her chances ruined. "I did." She replied, not raising her voice one bit, as if it was the most normal thing ever. It was, though, wasn't it? She kept staring at him with a neutral look. Daydreaming, maybe. Or just giving him a look she knew that would make him feel uncomfortable sooner or later.

How come she wasn't reacting? Like at all. Merlin, was he going to have to go into theatrics again because if he thought Potions was tiring, this was something different all together. If only there was some parchment lying around somewhere here.... Maybe if he could find a Ravenclaw sitting around. Like Sophie Brown, she probably had parchment on her right? It was a requirement to get into the house afterall, was it not?
Anyways he just kinda waited to see exactly what she was going to say next because if she said another 'what', then the Gryffindor would've probably resorted to dragging her over to a quieter place and from experience, most people didn't really liked to be dragged. See, knowledge like that was also another big requirement of being sorted into Ravenclaw, but he could probably pass off as excusable since he wasn't in that house or anything.
But back to the important business. The casual stuff. HA SO SHE DID!! WAIT. Blink. Oh. Oh man. You know, for what seemed like a very casual plan... There wasn't actually that much planning that went into this and Agatha didn't look at all phased, which in itself seemed super strange. 'Cause if Zander was confronted about this well not this 'cause as much as he did like Simon, he'd never snog the boy MERLIN NO he'd probably be all blushy and avoid the topic all together. But Agatha, man she REALLY had no shame.
Which also brought him to the next question, "Why?" It was an honest question. Did Agatha like him? And if not, did she know that Simon liked her? 'Cause if she did that would be pretty uncool of her and all just leading him on like that. And not that Agatha didn't seem like a cool person, 'cause really her dance moves were only slightly behind from being up to par with Zanders. Heh. Jokes.
But anyways, this was pretty important stuff considering that Simon Holden was like a brother to the Gryffindor. No, okay not brother because his brothers were horrible. More like a distant cousin or someone he didn't see quite often enough because they were always locked up in the dungeons studying or something, 'cause who did that anyways? Well, other than Ravenclaws, 'cause studying was definitely the third on the list of requirements, right after requirement #1 always carrying parchment and requirement #2 knowing not to drag people around.
