Ever wish you could learn how to get those notes just right with your voice or maybe learn how to be as good as these band members playing a cool instrument? Well today is your lucky day! In this area you will find that many of the musician are here, when they aren't on stage, to give you a chance to learn how to sing or play your favorite instrument from them.
So grab your own guitar or if you didn't bring one pick up one that’s been placed there just for you. Grab a key board or sit down at some drums and Charles Hollingberry or one of our amazing musicians who want to give back and show their appreciation for their fans will give you a lesson or two. If you are here for singing don’t worry there is a place for you as well. Some of our lead vocalist or solo singers are eagerly waiting near the microphones to teach you how to get to that perfect pitch.

It felt oddly strange to be in Diagon Alley once more, even if the place had been completely transformed to look different for the event. Ness assumed it had to do with the fact that she barely came this way anymore, for one she was too busy to shop and she also didn't need to come all the way to DA for huge amount of things, other than visits, possibly, which was part of her reason today.
With Ethan grasping tightly at her hand and with the boyfriend hopefully close-by, Ness wandered about trying to find where the music lessons were. She felt something like that would keep an eight year old like her brother entertained, or so she wished because if his shyness got in the way-well then she'd be a pinning board for him to pin onto all day. Small little thing he was...
Finally the guitars and other instruments appeared, which was where the red head stopped and began gazing about. "You see Mia and Issy anywhere?" she asked with her usual pout, and directed it at both her boys.
His sister was the most awesome adult ever! She took him out and always made sure he was alright when things were a little off edge and that's what he most loved about her; that she cared for him. Even now; look at the event she was taking him to! His mother would never, not even if he asked; she'd always send someone with him instead. As for Tom, sister-stealer,intimidating yet okay were the three best ways to describe him in Ethan's eyes. It wasn't that he didn't like him in a personal manner, but in general Ethan didn't like people, or most of them anyways and he was too young to understand much better.
Silence was his best solution in a case like this and so silent he remained until an answer was completely unavoidable.

Music lessons sounded fun, so Mia had no problem heading in that direction, her daughter's hand in hers.
Ness would be around somewhere with Ethan and maybe Tommy so they could chat on top of learning about a musical instrument. Too bad Zayden wasn't there, but he was looking after the boys as well as working at the cafe. "Okay, Issy let me know when you see Auntie Ness."
WEEEEEEE!!
Issy was so excited because she was going to learn to make MUSIC! She would me the first ever ballerina who could play a musical instrument and it was so awesome! "Okay, mommy!" She was very good at finding her Auntie.

Charles had been hidden by some of the equipment as he sat cross legged on the ground tuning his acoustic guitar using one set of chords while he hummed a tune that could not be any more different in tone and tempo. Merlin it felt weird, in a most excellent way, to be doing this sort of warm up again. Even if he was a bit rusty.
Hearing voices, he set the guitar down and popped up like a Jack-in-the-box with both arms held up high above his head excitedly.
"HELLO AND WEEEEEEEELCOME!" Short pause. "LADIES AND PRINCESS!"

Tom had got distracted a few yards back from Ness and Ethan by some street entertainment. He followed the pair through the crowd with his eyes though, as they approached the music lessons. He mused to himself that it might be good for little Ethan. A way of expressing himself without words perhaps.. which Tom, who was fond of the little lad, would encourage wholeheartedly. Particularly so if that expression was artistic.
Tom was enjoying himself. Just relaxing and soaking up the atmosphere. He didn't get the chance to do this sort of thing much these days and being with Ness was a huge plus. Adult life was busy and not much fun.
He heard the little girl and smiled before catching up to Ness and Ethan. “Hey' E-fan. There's Izzy. You see her?” He said, bending down a little to speak to the boy and point her out to him. Were they friends? He hoped so.
He straightened up, his fingers reaching for Ness's and he took her hand into his and he smiled towards Mia and Izzy.. before nodding in acknowledgement to the guy running the music lessons who appeared out of nowhere. He seemed rather excited. “You gonna 'ave a go, Ness?” He asked his girlfriend. Tom was tempted, he had to admit. "I fink I might give somefin' a try."
No response from Ethan, that was well expected and slightly worrying on Ness's behalf. She looked towards her brother's way but was stopped at a loud call of her name. That had to have been Issy, nobody else called her auntie; Issy and Mia it sure was.
The red head smiled some as she greeted the two girls making their way over. "Hello, kiddo- and Mia, it's been ages!" Tight hugs were given before Ness was to bend down to get Ethan to say hello, although it appeared her boyfriend had beat her to it. Instead she observed for reasons of her own and pouted just a little as specific thoughts appeared. Thankfully for her Ethan for once took the courtesy of listening to Tom and greeted the others without her asking. Well done, boyfriend.
"How you all been?" she continued at Mia as she felt Tom's hands hold onto hers and as she noticed the music man that looked oddly familiar; or perhaps he did not. A quick small smile was given to the man before she returned her focus to the boyfriend. "Um..yeah, if you do I guess? Why not? Might bring back some good memories of my childhood." Another pout was urging to form, but she resisted it, not wanting those around to know she was in thought-mode. "You'll join us too, Mia?"The kids would probably prefer it anyways if they all did the lesson together with them.
With that Ness pulled both Tom and Ethan along as she found a place to sit, sure that Issy and Mia would do so too beside them.

That was how Ethan had wanted to respond when Tom had spoken to him but as he gazed up to look at his sister he knew she'd want him to try; for his own sake even. "Ye-yes." That was all that splattered out for the adult.
"He-hello Issy an-and Mi-Mia" The greeting was uttered extremely quietly; all whilst squeezing tight onto Tom's leg only to realize a moment later it was his and not Nessie's.
Almost having a panic attack, he rushed back to his sister's other side and wished he didn't have to deal with his urge to hold onto her when all anxious like this. He grabbed her hand though and it did sooth him some.

Mia knew that Issy would have been able to find Ness; that girl had quite the pair of lungs on her. Oooh, and there was Tommy! Good to see him as well! He got a big smile. "Nice to see you, Tommy. How are things?" It had been a while, sadly. "I'm sorry it's been a while," she told her best friend as she happily returned the hug. "My kids keep me so busy. I hope things are well?" No matter, they were all here now and this seemed like it would be a lot of fun!
And little Ethan! "Hello, Ethan! Are you excited to learn some music?" Seeing him so shy, she wanted to give him a big hug, but felt that might not be a good idea.
"Oh, I'm definitely going to try it out. Hopefully I will actually be good at it." Otherwise that would be pretty embarrassing. Holding her daughter's hand, Mia joined the others in finding a seat as the man holding the lessons called for their attention. As she sat, she sent Ethan a smile. Poor boy really had terrible anxiety and she didn't want to make him feel worse.
Happily Issy ran to her Auntie Ness and wrapped her arms around her. "Hiiiiiiii!!!" she said eagerly as she snuggled into her godmother's legs. It had felt like a MILLION years since the last time they saw each other, and she had really missed her Auntie Ness.
Tommy got a hello and hug around the legs too, but Ethan didn't because he was hiding behind Auntie Ness. Was it because of her? Did she make him shy with all her enthusiasm? "Hiiii, Ethan!" Big smile because he had nothing to worry about with her; she was a ballerina and ballerinas were awesome.
Skipping with her hand in her mommy's, Issy joined the others and took a seat. The fun was about to start and this was awesome. "HELLO, MR. MUSIC MAN!!!!" she called out to the guy who knew she was a Princess. It really was obvious, wasn't it?
Making her way into the Music lessons area, Nicole was at first stunned at what she saw. The guitars, key boards, drums, and microphones. She always wished she could sing notes perfectly. This was her chance to learn! So far there were a few other people there too, including a man who seemed to be the instructor.
The twelve-year-old took a seat beside a young girl and smiled at everybody around. "Hello, I'm Nicole," she said. She could not wait to get started.

Tom waited for a response from Ethan. Which received a grin when he finally spoke. Tom tried to be encouraging and supportive of Ethan even though he knew fine well the little lad was petrified of him. He wasn't sure why.. because he toned down the accent around him and tried to speak softer then usual. ..But he knew what it was like to grow up being different from the other kids. It wasn't the same, but he really hoped Ethan would grow out of this shyness for his own sake. School was not going to be an easy ride for him if he remained so timid.
He was pleased to hear the way he greeted Mia and Issy so politely even if it was quiet. And then his leg was being clung to which surprised Tom, momentarily so. Ness was always the one he went to. He couldn't help but chuckle when Ethan realised his mistake and scampered off back to Ness. “I ain' gonna bite cha, E-fan.” He reassured the kid in his strong, gravelly accent.
Ness would give something a try? “Did you learn an instrument when you woz a kid?” He asked curiously. “I've always wanted to try me 'and at somefin'. Ma an' da could never afford lessons or noffin'” Let alone an instument.. so it was always drawing for Tom to express his creative side.
He turned his attention to Issy and Mia. “Mia. It's great to see yer. You're lookin' real well. Hiya, Issy.” He smiled widely at the little girl. She was quite the contrast to Ethan here. “I'm doin' well fanks.” He replied to Mia. “It's nice to do somefin' a bit different on me day off.”
He chuckled and hugged Issy. What a sweet little girl. “You got your eye on any particular instrument?” He asked her.
Issy, why was she so adorable? The red head squeezed her goddaughter tightly."Look how even more beautiful you've become!" Such beautiful hair, and those eyes; she was one lucky girl.
That was understandable, the whole kid thing that was, they took up time and effort and very seldom did mother's have time of their own. Or so Ness thought from watching other's go through that experience. She supposed that was life. "It's alright, really. I'm not much of a free bird either with dancing and all." she responded, yet felt slightly silly at the dancing bit; it didn't seem like a legitimate excuse, but it sure was. If only people knew the amount of practice hours it took. "Yeah, things are alright. New York is beyond amazing, I feel like it's a long lost home of mine."Strange, yet true. There was just something about that city that had grasped the Dixon to the maximum. "Things are well with you too?" such as with Zayden, and the kids as well?
Oh boy, Ethan. She watched as he huddled to her side again; he needed to relax although she could see he was trying. "Don't make it bigger than it is." She shook her head with a half frown. Obviously his intentions weren't to worsen the situation; but she knew her brother and knew both the laughing and comment were not going to be taken the way normal people would have done so. Insecurities did that, she of all people knew.
She hadn't ever told him this? Her brow raised slightly. Perhaps she hadn't then; after all her childhood was not something she enjoyed enlightening people about. "Guitar. When I was around 10." Short and to the point to indicate she didn't want to say much further. "Really?" That pout was urging to form more than ever now, but her resistance continued. "So if you could of you would of gotten into music?" The questions were mostly because for the life of her she could not picture Tom and a guitar or in fact any musical instrument together; or well maybe drums, those would suit his preceding teenage tempers, but even then it didn't seem so.....'him'. Either way; today, whether she'd be able to picture it or not, she'd get to see his "musical" side and it appeared she wasn't the only one eager to start, hello there adorable Issy.
The leg incident was more than enough to have Ethan completely ushered. He refused to say anymore and so instead he just looked towards Issy shyly and nodded abruptly at Mia's question. Nodding meant yes, anyways. Please don't be upset Ness, please. He was trying his best, he truly was.
Tom got a nod too, at that bite comment, even though the eight year old would of much rather preferred he had not said anything. Why couldn't Ness tell her boyfriend off for that one? It wasn't fair! She knew how much he hated being made a scene of. Again, he did not like people and he did not want their attention. Was it that hard for all of them to understand that?
THANK GOODNESS, SISTER.
He squeezed tightly at her hand in thanks for saying something. Then he focused on the music guy and gave a quick glance to the other girl that had joined them. Yeah... Issy could be the friendly one there. He was happy with his one and only friend Georgie; he didn't want to meet any others.

That was understandable, the whole kid thing that was, they took up time and effort and very seldom did mother's have time of their own. The questions were mostly because for the life of her she could not picture Tom and a guitar or in fact any musical instrument together; or well maybe drums, those would suit his preceding teenage tempers, but even then it didn't seem so.....'him'. Either way; today, whether she'd be able to picture it or not, she'd get to see his "musical" side and it appeared she wasn't the only one eager to start, hello there adorable Issy.
The leg incident was more than enough to have Ethan completely ushered. He refused to say anymore and so instead he just looked towards Issy shyly and nodded abruptly at Mia's question. Nodding meant yes, anyways. Please don't be upset Ness, please. He was trying his best, he truly was.
Tom got a nod too, at that bite comment, even though the eight year old would of much rather preferred he had not said anything. Why couldn't Ness tell her boyfriend off for that one? It wasn't fair! She knew how much he hated being made a scene of. Again, he did not like people and he did not want their attention. Was it that hard for all of them to understand that?

He squeezed tightly at her hand in thanks for saying something. Then he focused on the music guy and gave a quick glance to the other girl that had joined them. Yeah... Issy could be the friendly one there. He was happy with his one and only friend Georgie; he didn't want to meet any others.
"Pleeeeeeeease, just call me Charles," he beamed at the small group that had gathered. He gave each of them an approving look over and grinned as they discussed among each other which instrument to try next...and then he reeeeeeally got a good look at the young redhead girl and his face pretty much exploded with excitement.
"IF IT ISN'T RENESMEE!" he exclaimed, arms opened wide as he swiftly stepped towards the little dear and wrapped her up in a giant bear hug. Did she remember him? Surely she must. It hadn't been all THAT long ago that his little ambassador of cuteness had had her wedding. Picking her up off the ground in his hug, and swaying her back and forth once or twice, he DID put her down eventually and then stood there with both hands on his hips and his chest all puffed out.
"You all just tell me if you'll be needing any help. ANYTHING for friends of my little sunspot."
To which he meant his daughter, and not Renesmee. Although the distinction was not entirely clear.

"Um, I was wondering if I could learn how to... sing?" The sentence came out stranger than what she had thought. Every girl her age could sing with no problem. It was just that Nicole could not sing well. Not as good as the vocalists and singers she heard back at the Main stage, anyway.
She looked down at herself at the mention of pipes. No, she was not carrying any pipes with her. "Pipes?" Nicole asked curiously.

Even though she did not know any of his albums, she could hang the autograph on her wall to show everybody who cared that she had met a lead singer. "Cool name," Nicole commented, standing in front of a microphone, gaining more confidence as the minutes passed. "I will ask my father if he knows your band." If he did, she could tell him all about getting a vocal lesson from the lead singer of the band.

Nicole jumped as the man clapped loudly. She had been thinking about some songs she had recently learned. The only song from the Wizarding world that she knew was A Cauldron Full of Hot, Strong Love, which she did not like very much. Focusing on the lesson, she made a mental note to ask the guy how he could clap so loudly.
She pulled up memories from years ago when she once watched a chorus practice in her muggle elementary school. "The... lip trill exercise? I don't know what exactly you call it though," Nicole said, remembering a particularly interesting one. "Like this, brbrbrbr," she demonstrated it for the man to see, blowing air out from her lips.
