Off from the stage you will find multiple vendors have set up tables with merchandise for you to browse and buy. Whether you are enjoying hearing all the great bands, savoring the food, and just having fun, you won’t want to forget to grab some souvenirs to remember this great day. From t-shirts to posters, the merchandise tables have everything to fill your number one fan needs. Every band is represented in this area and, with an event like this, you never know who might be around for an autograph or two. So make sure you don’t wait to get your signable items. Aren't seeing what your wrock soul needs? Make sure to ask the vendor for some assistance.
OOC: Lizasaurus will be playing just one of the many vendors at the booths in this area. Feel free to interact with her!
Ara was near her booth that had lots of music cd's from the various bands that were at the Music Festival as well as sheet music and books. She had a display of her own piano music that she had recorded and some songs that she had written as well. She watched as the festival opened and people started arriving. Reaching up she straightened her hat nervously Katrina had insisted she work at the festival, normally she was happy sorting music in the backroom away from customers!
Artemis looked around the different tables, so much cool merch! What did she want?
Hmmmm?
She wasn't sure. There was a lot to see and maybe the blonde thought she should see it all before deciding, yeah? She bit her lip a little and shoved her hands into her pockets as she walked.
Art needed a new favorite band, music was always fun.

Cassie was soooooooooooooo glad that it wasn't overly windy today. The slightest wind would probably have her pulling a Marilyn Munroe. Her dress was everything though and she was very happy to show off her custom made piece.
And look...she was away from work..actually away from any form of work and would be for at least another day or two. Let no one say Cassie Storm was not having 'fun'.
"I wonder if I remember how to do this fun thing." She bumped Brynn a bit as she walked over to the merchandise section.

Ever since the plans had been made at the end of term after their big talk in the observatory Leo had started to build up anticipation and nerves for their date. On the day he had changed his outfit a number of times until he had settled on a casual long sleeved blue shirt and jeans. The forecast for the day hadn't promised any rain but warmth and sunshine so hopefully there was no chance he'd get surprised by a rain shower.
Strolling down the festival street Leo made it to the festival vendors and where he was going to meet Cassie ahead of time. Pushing his hands into his pockets he walked over to the nearest vendors to check out the t-shirt selection. He had a plan to walk home with at least one TDK souvenir.
Life was rainbow, sunshine and fluffy clouds for Jessa lately and it showed on her face and the way she walked and how she talked. Being someone's girlfriend felt great! It was a foreign feeling but she loved it all the same. Brynn was aware of the recently changed relationship status of Jessa's, of course, but since her other 'friend' was not interested in being her friend anymore, there was no need to tell her.
Today she put on her little yellow dress, showing off her tanned body, and let her hair cascade down her back and shoulders.
Having arrived at the music festival with her two flatmates, Jessa announced with a big grin on her face. "WELL, ladies, I'm going to get a henna tattoo today. Just to see if I like it." The fact that her boyfriend inner!gasp was the one managing the Body Art section maaaay have something to do with it, too. Hehehe. "I'll leave you to your fun, but you should swing by and check it out later." YES, fraaands? Yes!

This was exciting, EEEEP!! Sh was actually finally on a date with Leo, after almost an entire term of thinking he was off limits he wasn't and no he asked her out and they were here for their date!! Since it was a music festival Cassie made sure to dress the part in her stylish pale pink Capri's and fun flowy shirt. Though she wasn't sure if she actually knew many of the groups, listening to mostly calming nonvocal music did have it's downfall, she was still soooooooooooo excited to be there. The atmosphere as she entered just jumped with excitement and energy. It was going to be a great day!
As she walked around the merchandise she glanced at the items. Possibly debating on buying something, but seeing Leo her thoughts left the items. "Helllllllo Leo." She almost sang as she came up behind him, giving a huge grin and reaching up giving him a hug. "I hope you didn't have to wait long." She tried to be on time, but when one is trying to find the perfect shoes to go on a date with a man as tall as Leo one loses track of time. She didn't think she was horribly late though, so all was good.
Looking back around, "Seems like it's going to be a busy day." So many people already here and had the first act started? ' "Were you thinking about buying something?" Oooh maybe one of his favorite bands were here, something she'd have to learn if this date went well.
Iwin wandered over from the main stage and wanted to check out what he could buy Eden--she liked stuff right? And he liked to buy her stuff, like the nice older brother figure that he was.
Right.
Nice.
Certainly a word only few could call him. The twenty-seven-year-old glanced around. Hmph. This was so not his scene,it wasn't even funny. But he had at least tried to fit right in. Positioning his glasses just right on his face, he stepped towards one of the display areas--Merlin help him. There were some posters here...t-shirts...probably overpriced, as usual. Hmph. Iwin didn't MIND paying inflated prices, but it made him rather grumbly.
Whatever.

Huh..
Those were some of the first thoughts from the thirty-six year old. There was a nice variety of music collection around here. Withdrawing out his camera, Justin went on ahead to *SNAP* one. There. Just one was all he needed as his face looked satisfied. Next up would be the main stage. But since he was already here and could do with some souvenirs he tucked his handy camera back into the camera bag.
Now on what to get. He was at the section with all the posters lined up. He supposed his younger bro could use another poster.. That is if there was room left on his wall. Heh.

Leo was looking through the pile of TDK t-shirts when he heard and felt how Cassie gave him a hug from behind. Turning to face her, still embraced he beamed warmly."Hello Cassiee," Shaking his head he responded. "I haven’t waited long at all. I was just browsing through the souvenirs to have something to do." He knew from experience, growing up with sisters that women needed a little longer to make themselves presentable than men did. Glancing around at all the people walking up and down the festival street he nodded. "Yes, the music festival seems to be quite popular and it's just the first day. I bet even more people will turn up tomorrow since its the weekend."
Grasping onto Cassie’s hand without a second thought he gestured to the table he was standing next to and motioned her towards it. "I was hoping to buy some memorabilia from one of the bands performing. Some former Hogwarts student's are playing in the band; West Odessa and Vesper Bayliss." Letting go of Cassie’s hand to lify up a t-shirt he held it out to show her. "What do you think Cassie? Would I look cool in a TDK t-shirt?"

This 'fun' thing. Mhm.
"Well, if you don't remember how to do this 'fun' thing, I won't hesitate to tell you how much of a wet blanket you're being," Brynn smiled. It was only her duty as best friend, after all.
There probably wasn't any merchandise worth getting, in Brynn's honest opinion, but she would browse with Cassie....
.....and Jessa! Her smile lengthened some and she shook her head slightly. "Head over heels," she murmured to Cassie at the sight of her. "Henna? That's a good place to start." You know, instead of going out and getting some stupid permanent tattoo with no meaning just for the kicks of having a tattoo. Brynn Pierce was never very impressed with those who got tattoos more to be trendy than to express themselves or appreciate a creative and original piece of art. So, to make a long story longer, Brynn approved of the henna idea.

"What are you thinking of getting?"
Cassie chuckled. "I'm sure you won't hesitate to tell me." She wrinkled her nose as she looked at the stuff on display. Maybe if there was a handsome enough face on one of the T-shirts she would get one or two and do some cut designs. That could be wearable for the incoming summer.
She flicked through the records quickly, nothing there she wanted. If she could be honest....this kind of music wasn't reeeeeeally her thing.
This T- Shirt wasn't bad though...she picked it up and held it out in front of her, squinted at it a bit.
"Do you think this could work after cutting it up some?"

Jessa was too busy grinning and bouncing to hear Brynn's whisper, but she was glad a henna tattoo seemed like a good idea to her friend, too! "I'm too afraid of the needle, is the truth but shhhh." She put a finger to her mouth and laughed, paying no attention to the vendors yet.
"I was thinkingggg something like a star? On my right hipbone?" She answered cheerfully, y'know because she aspired to BE a STAR in the showbiz? "Or some really fancy creature? Like a phoenix on my back, with its golden wings spread out to my shoulders?" That was an awfully big tattoo, though, that would be stuck on her skin for the end of times. GULP. "Fletcher has a Cockatrice tattoo on his bicep, he defeated it when he was in the tournament." She added unnecessarily, just because it was cool and she liked to play with his moving tattoo.
As for the shirt-shopping. Eh. Jessa wasn't that big of a fan of any of those bands to buy their shirts. Maybe a record, though. Yes, oooooh!

What a WONDERFUL idea! Nessa was a giant supporter of the arts - performing, musical, visual, whatever.. She just loved creative expression and she could not wait to come to the music festival. What was even more exciting was that a few of her former students would be performing as well as an old acquaintance of hers from WADA, so of course she would be supporting all of them!!
With the beat of the music infused in every step she took, Nessa walked closer to the sounds, enjoying every bit of the atmosphere. OH! She knew Cassie was meeting Leo here but she was totes not going to interrupt their date. No, she could have best friend time later so her BFF could get a little romance in. She was here as a complete free spirit. But that didn't stop her from giving them an excited little wave before she headed over to the merchandise tables. She'd get the dish from Cassie later on when they went home.
Hmm.. what did she need here? Because of course she needed a souvenir.. Maybe a cool pin. She started to head that way when the flash of a camera startled her and she let out a surprised little, "oh!" Laughing to herself as she saw the man put his camera away, she added, "Sorry, you startled me.. Are you the photographer for the event?" Or just an enthusiast?

Whatever.
She needed one of those Kneazles shirts, yeah it had to happen; firstly because she adored the band, and secondly because they were so cool looking and that material was soft and felt amazing on her lightly tanned skin.
Maybe she ought to grab two? One for her and one for Jess? Oh, and Sol too, and Amon, she couldn't not buy him one, naturally she couldn't leave Jus out so... Four? Yeah, four seemed right. Tala tucked back her blond hair and grabbed up a bunch of the shirts, making her way to the front of the tent and not paying any attention, which naturally lead to her bumping right into a tall, masculine figure.
"Oh! Oops!" Tala giggled, looking down where she had dropped her mercy before turning her blue eyes to see Iwin. Cutie-cute cutie Iwin Howell. "Oh, Hey... I didn't know you'd be here," Tala said, smiling up at the Welshman. No, but like, for reals, why so cute?

Now then let's look here at the poster selection.. As Justin's ears picked up a distinct giggle nearby him. Oh, did he miss something funny? As he turned his head to see a woman before him. He smiled friendly at her as she went on ahead explaining.
He scared her? Whoopsie. "Oh, sorry about that." He couldn't help cheesing a little into a chuckle at 'the photographer' suggestion. It sounded nice. "Oh no. I do photograph for the Quibbler, but I'm freelancing this week." Given the reputation of the paper he so frequently hears, perhaps his freelancing could be cut short in any case.
Well, she seemed nice and since he didn't scare her off, "I'm Justin. Justin McLeod." offering a hand out for her to shake or observe or whatever she felt comfortable with it. "So what brings you here?" Music was more than likely, but given the air he seemed to pick up from her. She seemed to have more depth, so to speak.

Smiling brightly, Nessa shook her head a bit and waved her hand dismissively. "No need to apologize, was just one of those things." It was actually quite amusing if she really thought about it. But then as he continued and corrected her on what he was really doing with that camera, her eyes widened and her hands quickly covered her opened mouth. The Quibbler?? "Are you serious?" she asked once she regained her composure and she beamed in excitement. "My roommate and I have a subscription to the Quibbler!" Oh Merlin, she needed to tell Cassie this! She glanced over at her friend but no, she would wait. She wasn't about to interrupt her date just now.
Turning her brown eyes back to the man in front of her, she shook the hand that was offered to her, the cheerful smile still firmly in place. "Very nice to meet you, Justin. Of course, he did, being a photographer, for that was a form of creative expression in itself. "Such a wonderful way to showcase local talent.. plus I know a few of the performers so I just had to come out and support them." But she was here for the entertainment value too and general good time.

He wasn't waiting long, that was soooo great! She hated making people wait, but she wanted to look super cute too. She looked around as he did and noticed all the people. WAS THAT NESSA OVER THERE *SQUEAL* She was with a guy!! Yes she was getting all the eyes for just a second and quickly turned her attention back to her date, because who wouldn't want to look at his cuteness!! "There are sooo many things to pick and so many bands playing. I haven't heard of many of them though." She listened as the first one was playing. It was pretty good. She might have to learn more about these groups and singers. "I bet you're right when people aren't working." She wasn't really thinking about the weekend though, just this moment and this date. Hehe
HE WAS HOLDING HER HAND!!! *INNER FLAILS* She felt like a teenager with her heart skipping with excitement. She grinned and held his back as they started to walk a little. "Hogwarts students are in these bands. That is just fabtastic." Snapping with her free hand that was just sooo exciting. "Oh I remember West, he just graduated last term, right? Though I don't know this other one." He must have been a student before she started.
Watching as he picked up a shirt she snapped, "Ohhh of course you would. Super cool." She beamed at him and thought maybe she should get a band shirt too. They were super cute. "Do you have any of these in pink?" She looked around seeing if you could find any. If not she could probably settle for just a bright happy color.

Cool beans, now that they got that out of the way. Justin then blinked as he saw how surprised she was. No.. scratch that. Excitement. "Oh yeah?" Yeah, he was cheesing again. "So what are your favorite articles from there?"
Nessarose. "That's a very nice name, Nessa." Highly unlikely that he'll ever forget it. "Sure do. I got into photography since it can give us the closest look through another one's eyes." Still smiling, "How about you? What sort of arts are you most into?" Did she have a profession in one? That was always nice to hear of. "Cool.. you must be quite close with them. In a way I'm doing the same as my younger brother's working at one of the booths today. But also to check out the groups." Lots of music and fun. Who wouldn't after all.

Iwin picked up a particularly NICE t-shirt of TDK..weren't all the kids into that little band? Iwin hadn't actually heard them at all but..yeah. Whatever. Kids.
Even though he wasn't THAT old to begin with--MERLIN. HE REALLY WAS TURNING INTO HIS FATHER. This was not awesome. NOT awesome. But he supposed he'd rather turn into his surly father rather than his...snooty and...overbearing mother. Noooope. No thank you.
As he folded up the shirt to go purchase it, he felt a little bump and furrowed his brow for a minute as he made to ask this PERSON why they weren't being careful-----when he saw just exactly who the assailant was. Tala...Taalaaa. Her name had such a niiiiice taste on his tongue. "Apology accepted." He teased with a smirk, raising a curious eyebrow at her.
"I'm here with my younger cousin. Aunt didn't want her coming alone." he said with a snort. "But you..this seems the right scene for you, for sure-----also. YOu look...really....good." She did. OWO. She didn’t know he wore glasses, he hadn’t been when they’d met before, but now that she saw him wearing them Tala found she really liked the bespectacled look on his strong features. HolyToledoHeWasCute, and not just cute, but handsome and polished in a way only older, mature boys could be, and Merlin help her but Tala had always had a thing for older boys. Oh, she hadn’t actually apologized, now that he mentioned it. Oops, again? “Oh, um, sorry. I wasn’t looking where I was going,” Duh, obvi, Tala. And then he was smirking at her and Tala had to try very hard not to giggle and blush like an idiot and seem like a chill chick.
“You are? That’s so decent of you, though… “ The Blond said, grinning up at him, her blue eyes discreetly studying him, something she tried to stop, but was having a hard time actually doing. “Yeah, does it? And what does that mean, exactly Mista Howell?” – The smirk and cheeky tone dissipated a second later as the boy complimented her. “Yeah? You look pretty nice too… “ Tala said, biting her pink lips and grinning up at him.
Nice? Ugh, he looked better than nice, what even, Tala.
“Hm? What?” Nope, totally not distracted by the hair ruffling, nope, nahh. “Oh, Uh.. Yeah… TDK… Love those dudes… “

Iwin could just...FEEL his ego inflating as he watched Tala. She was smitten and giggly--and Iwin wasn't STUPID. He could very well run with this, couldn't he? Emmalee's words rang in his head though..wasn't he trying to get AWAY from younger, less mature girls? Wasn't he looking for something more SERIOUS?
SIGH.
But he looked at Tala...and he couldn't help it. He smirked and grabbed her arm, leading her in a certain direction. "Pick something out. I'll treat." Was that forward? He didn't care. He meant it very casually. He had lots of money. Why not spend it on pretty girls like Tala, anyways? Still, for some reason the voice of reason/conscious in his head had taken on EMMALEE'S voice and he couldn't shake it. Merlin, Emmalee, GO THE HECK AWAY. AHEM.
"Decent? I guess. She doesn't have anyone else, really. Not to take her to thing like this." Uncle Iden and Aunt Irene were busy with things a LOT. Especially since she wanted to open her own little bakery. WHICH he was funding. Secretly. From his family. Mostly his grandfather. He'd be blasted out the family--maybe?--if they found out. "And yes, you're young and like to have fun--I assume." Iwin liked fun, too. He just had different ideas of what fun was nowadays. Though, he supposed his male friends all around his age shopping for wedding/birthy-gifts wasn't fun, either. He felt too YOUNG for those friends--and then people like Tala made him feel ANCIENT. However, Iwin was still young enough to not feel..completely weird here...ish.
"Do I?" he asked smugly, fixing the glasses on his face. Iwin was not oblivious. "I don't wear glasses actually. These are fake-for the look--" Yes. For the LOOK. "Do you?" Merlin. She really did seem young now.

Tala raised an eyebrow as he grabbed her arm, the wolf growled, but she ignored it, he was being friendly, not pushy and besides, that voice was not one she liked to listen to, and definitely not when Iwin was so charming and smelled so good. “Oh, no… I mean, like... That’s really sweet, but I’m buying a disastrous amount, you know.” Tala had money, not that that mattered to her, in fact it the thought never really occurred to her at all, but that was beside the point, she didn’t need the pretty boy to buy her things. “Wouldn’t be fair to make you buy ‘em all.”
The Blond nodded, she knew that feel, not being to go off alone or to a big cool thing alone, at least. “Aw man, she must be so excited then, how old is she? Is she around here?” She peeked around, half expecting this younger cousin to appear, as if she were hiding behind Iwin. She crinkled her nose playfully at his next words. He made it sound like she was a teenager and not a girl in her early twenties. “I’m not thaaaat young, gosh… I’m twenty-three… “ She teased, lightly pulling on the bottom of his shirt, and smiling.
Sure, she wasn’t as mature and grown up as Iwin seemed, but Tala could be responsible when push came to shove, it was just a little hard right now when she was feeling so giddy in his presence.
Ugh, no, wait, why was that smug look attractive? It should have been turning her off, not the opposite. “Fake?” She giggled, taking the glasses without asking permission and trying them on herself. “How do I look, then?” And there she was giggling again, way to be mature. “Yeah, I mean… They’re not really sophisticated or anything, but I like them,” Sheepish, Tala? Maybe just a bit.

Iwin let go of her arm and internally berated himself for being eager. And probably coming off so WEIRD to her. Meh. He was doing an overthinking thing right now and was so...well..just BLANK on his features to hide the battle in his mind. "Ahh--then another time. Perhaps." Maybe? "how much do you HAVE to buy?" he air-quoted that because really---she didn't HAVE to if she didn't want to, right? HMPH. "And no, it wouldn't, but...it's okay." He smirked. Did he ever stop smirking?
"She's sixteen. SO she's off doing her own thing obviously--" he snorted and rolled his eyes. "She's ALMOST like a littler sister since..I'm an only child..and SHE'S an only child. Our fathers don't really get along, though." Understatement. "And once I get my own place I'll...definitely be spending more time with her." Kid needed it, too. Poor little confused cousin. Eden.
Aaaand her age. Ah! She wasn't that much younger--FOUR YEARS. That wasn't BAD, right? "Young enough to be really cute--" he smirked. "And old enough to be interesting." He said. Smooth, Howell. Smooth. Shirt pulling was cute. Talaaaa was cute. And interesting was certainly a word he could use to describe her, yes. Straightening up and tossing the across he wanted to buy Eden across his shoulder, he crossed his arms over his chest as he glanced around.
OOOH. His glasses--had they been real he wouldn't have appreciated this--but since they weren't he just laughed softly and made a half-hearted swipe for them---but boy, she looked really cute in them. CUTE. "They're supposed to look...stylish. Not sophisticated, so good. And they suit you, too, dear." Smirking more, he grabbed another t-shirt that HE liked...he could get some cool merch for himself!

Browsing was what Adi was doing, checking out the posters and stuff. There was no way he'd be leaving here without something to remember this festival. While he was doing this, he was also keeping an eye out for Benny and AJ. He wondered if he would find AJ over by the food station... and he wanted to find Benny super fast because there was Music lessons, too. Adi was always joking with Benny that he would help him with his vocals and well... this was the perfect opportunity for the Lion even if it wasn't Adi who was teaching him.
Adi shoved his dark rimmed specs up the bridge of his nose using his left index finger. It had been weeks since he had gotten the thing but he was still unused to it. At least they made the constant headaches stop.
So, it seems like neither of his best friends were there. Maybe he should go check out the food station.
