Located in the village of Upper Flagley, Yorkshire, inhabited by both Muggle and magic folk, is St. Oswald's Home for Old Witches and Wizards. This institution serves as a wizarding nursing home for the elderly, providing a small community within an already co-exisiting community. Residents here are given the opportunity to live comfortably and enjoy their own daily routine with the confidence of safety and support through assisted living and, for seniors with able bodies and minds, independent living. Them having to do magic for a reason is a thing of the past.
St. Oswald's Home boasts about its friendly, light-hearted atmosphere. This is primarily because of the residents who keep the nurses on their toes, all in good fun of course. It is not an uncommon sight to see zimmer frames being conjured into life, knitting wool being enchanted into chaos, and the nurses -- the male ones in particular -- being made to dance the tango. Naturally, the nurses are all good sports about it.
Other than teasing the nurses, the residents take pride in personalizing their living spaces, sharing meals in the community dining room, playing traditional wizarding games and listening to oldies music on the wireless in the living room, spending hours reading in the attached conservatory, gardening on the grounds, and making use of the facility's fitness room and infinity pool. Here great memories and many friendships are made.
For Ashley!Ella and anyone else, really! Got an oldie? COME PLAAY!

Sophie was super excited too be there that day. She had grown up visiting her grandparents in care homes - the Muggle kind - and she was really looking forward to volunteering in a magical one.
Actually, if she hadn't found her true passion in Charms and working at the Ministry, she would've probably ended up working at one of these. She always found homes to have such a great, lovely environment!
"Oop!" She ducked as soon as she saw knitting needles zooming past her head. "My, oh my, I nearly lost an eye! That was close!" She said, and she heard a 'hey, that rhymed!' coming from somewhere in the other room.
That was sure going to be interesting! And she was only at the entrance hall still!

"Oh!" Ella ducked too, thankful her old quidditch reflexes were still working for her. She laughed a little nervously as she righted herself again, eyeing her best friend of forever with raised eyebrows. "Well, that's one way to greet volunteers. Should I have worn protective gear, you think?" She smiled a little and nudged Soph, looking around as she did.

Upper Flagley, Yorkshire.
Yes, Krittika knew the place. Not well, but well enough to focus on the exact spot where she wanted to appear. It remained her sole focus through out the entire Disapparation, not even the fact that Miss Beitris' own had been flawless and silent bothered her. Krittika was confident in herself to know that such a moment would too, come for her.
Just outside the main gates, not within the grounds.
Her feet hit the ground, and she opened her eyes which had been closed before she departed thr Fountain. She stood outside St. Oswald's main gates and not within the grounds. She heaved a soft sigh of relief, the way Miss Beitris' words had been so firm that it made her think that others had not followed the instructions and had appeared where they hadn't been supposed to.
As she quickly checked for any Splinching, her gaze also scanned about for the examiner. There was no Splinching, by the way. It seemed Krittika had been successful as this one too.

Beitris stood already waiting just a short distance from the ivy-tangled gates of St. Oswald's, her presence as sharply defined as ever against the Yorkshire mist. She had been there mere seconds, yet looked as though she had been waiting long enough to judge the punctuality of the wind. Upon spotting Krittika, whole and precisely placed outside the gates, Beitris offered the faintest tilt of her head in approval.
Correct placement. No disturbances. All limbs accounted for, she noted on her clipboard.
When she looked up again, her pale eyes assessed Krittika not with scrutiny, but readiness. "We will now conclude your practical examination with one final task: Side-Along Apparition."
She took one step forward, her robes brushing in a clean sweep of motion. "You are to take me to the precise location from which you began today's test—inside the initial hoop you started the practical exam at the Ministry. I expect a clean arrival. Same visualised posture, same orientation. Take care to account for our combined mass, and do not attempt the jump until your grip and focus are both firm."
Beitris extended one of her arms, wrist rigid beneath the polished cuff. Today, Krittika Joshi had earned such a privilege, though temporary.
"Whenever you are ready, Ms. Joshi," she said calmly, "you may begin."
OOC: Feel free to make a post here with your character departing with Beitris via Side-Along Apparition and proceed to the Apparition Test Centre.

Krittika found Ms. Beitris quite easily, and she lifted a hand in acknowledgement. Did that head tilt mean that the Ravenclaw continued to meet the examiner’s expectations? This may be something she found out soon enough as the practicals were almost over. Side-Long Apparition, hopefully, would also continue not being complicated for her. The younger woman had to hand it to Beitris: she certainly seemed prepared for this. Wasn’t she nervous that Kritti would accidentally Apparate them to somewhere dangerous? On the edge of a volcano, perhaps? That was probably far-fetched but the point was, Beitris certainly was taking some risk.
“I can manage that,’’ Krittika said cheerfully. Luckily, she had not lost sight {mentally, obviously} of her starting point. The advice and expectations of this final bit of the examination were taken quite seriously; as she nodded solemnly, she quickly thought about all that she had learnt in preparation for this moment. Their weight together was possibly the most difficult factor for her but Kritti had the knowledge and knew how to apply it to the current situation.
The offered arm was taken, with Krittika holding firmly but not enough to cause discomfort to Beitris. She pictured that first hoop - the one she had first stepped into in the Examination Room before Apparating to the hoop at the back-centre, a bit beyond two pillars. “Here goes.” Mind firmly affixed on her destination, she gracefully moved as she did before and without any hesitation.
