The Queen Of Hearts 11-22-2009 07:49 PM

Well since I am from the United States I have an American accent.
I am from the western part of the US.

PatInTheHat 12-12-2009 05:32 PM

I'm also from the USA, southwest. but my friends say I speak like i'm from up north

grintalicious 12-22-2009 02:43 AM

I was born and raised in the southeast region of the U.S..
Being from the redneck state of South Carolina, you would expect I would have a very southern accent. However, I have a Scottish accent because of the way my family brought me up here (they're from Scotland, haha).

Jokun 12-22-2009 02:46 AM

im orginally form N.Korea so i guess a Korean accent... is that even possible ... i guess asian.... idk im so confused

RedRabbit 12-31-2009 11:40 PM

I grew up in the states in LA but my granmum raised me so I have a Brittish/American thing going on. It's fun to watch people when I say

"Would you like some tea y'all?"

dumbledork89 01-02-2010 07:20 AM

I have a midwest accent with a little bit of Chicago mixed in there.

mrs.bellatrix 01-02-2010 07:29 AM

california accent? lmao
someone from Ireland told me that californians talk slower??? idk.

DragonStar 01-02-2010 07:52 AM

An Aussie accent :P

Zodiac524 01-05-2010 03:41 AM

a slight dublin accent

handiangel 01-06-2010 11:56 AM

English accent. Midlands to be more precise, so a little Northern

TheDarkLady 01-06-2010 06:21 PM

Im from the US. Georgia. so I have a country southern accent. But don't make fun of me y'all

UnicornDragonPatronus 01-06-2010 08:20 PM

I'm from the USA... but I do not have the Philadelphia accent that many of my friends have!! I say water instead of wooder (that's the Philly way of pronouncing it! Haha)

oribiablue 01-07-2010 08:59 PM

I have a Californian accent, although I've been told I can execute a very accurate Southern accent as well.

xxJedwardxx 01-08-2010 06:35 PM

my accent is Irish, because i am irish:)

SlytherinGirl94 01-12-2010 06:29 PM

I'm from Germany but we learn the British English in school.
So I guess I have a British accent but I'm not quite sure.

bonnieginnyfan1 02-08-2010 10:04 AM

I have an aussie accent!

Louisianna 02-08-2010 12:22 PM

Australian. But I don't speak like Steve Irwin! I have a city accent, not a country accent!

TrophyKill 02-11-2010 11:52 PM

I'm from Newfoundland, Canada. So my accent is like a really strange hybrid of English and Irish. If anyone watched Corrination Street it's REALLY similar to that. ACTUALLY!

YouTube - Nissan X-Trail - Bonavista

Mine isn't THAT extreme, but I have family and friends who talk EXACTLY like that. It's pretty funny.

Calezilla 02-11-2010 11:56 PM

Kentucky Accent , wooo hooo :D
I dig my Kentucky accent though .

Lilly94 02-12-2010 08:42 PM

I'm from the south-east end of Britain, but I seem to speak with a London accent with a little bit of American in there. Its funny when people ask me what I mean when I throw a bit of slang in there being from Grantham.

James_Potter 02-12-2010 08:47 PM

I was born and raised in Maryland, USA. So I don't really have a coolio accent. Now, even though I live in Colorado, I still don't have an accent (when I speak English, that is).

I can speak Spanish. I'm almost near fluency; I've been learning it through school for six years. I've almost mastered covering my English accent when I speak in Spanish.

Also, ever since I went to Ireland and England, I can mimic an Irish and British accent quite well.

Poisonedbyyou 02-15-2010 05:30 PM

Hm... a north US accent, I suppose? It's close to a "Boston accent", but not entirely. I can do an Indonesian accent if I want, though :D

Ladybug 02-15-2010 05:33 PM

Im English..So mostly a English accent....though some people say i have quite a posh Accent...i kist laughed...soo yeahhh English

Siriusly Moony 02-15-2010 05:49 PM

Alright follow me on this one...

I'm originally from Dun Laoghaire, Ireland [[about 20 minutes from Dublin]] so growing up I had a Irish accent.

When I moved to America when I was thirteen, I tried to make my accent less noticeable by adding in a bit of British and American but that didn't last long. And I have a lot of friends from the Boston area so I kinda say things with Ahhh alot. But mostly, I have an Irish accent.

Lissydove 02-20-2010 03:13 PM

Downstate New Yawk, yo. Long Island girl.

magicworks 02-20-2010 06:57 PM

So I'm from the USA...I have an American accent. And it's New-Englandish haha; I don't know how to explain.

I do have fun faking a British accent though...even if I fail at it.

Harron Peasley 02-20-2010 07:11 PM

SCOUSER!
Because I'm from Liverpool, like the Wombats xD
But my accent isn't too extreme, really, although I do know a looot of people who's is.
And I kind of pick up on peoples accents wherever I go, so when I'm in London, I start talking Cockney, and I was in Leed's yesterday, so I started talking, eh, I don't know. Whatever accent they have in Leed's!
But I have a pretty good American accent. We're doing Hairspray in drama xD

Emzily 03-05-2010 04:02 PM

I have an full on English accent

PercySonOfPoseidon 03-06-2010 06:42 PM

my accent is kinda like English but sometimes i can sound American, but im English :D

Christopher Danford 03-12-2010 10:01 PM

Do to some odd reason, I have an insistent Scottish brogue even though I've never been there... Odd...

hippy☮ 03-15-2010 12:34 AM

Much to my, and I'm sure to Foxxie's disappointment as well I've completely lost my Minnesotan accent. So depressing.

D:

sgtpotter89 04-12-2010 10:39 PM

i'm English so an English accent but i'm from an area of England which doesnt have a distinct accent unlike for example Cockneys (from London), Brummies (from Birmingham), Stokies (from Stoke), Scousers (from Liverpool) all have a distinct twang to their dialect, but my area of Staffordshire doesnt seem to for some reason

p.s. the bracketed areas were for any Americans or Canadians who dont know what Cockneys, Stokies, Scousers or Brummies were.

Rosa Chispa Princessa 04-12-2010 10:43 PM

I don't really have an accent. I grew up the first 8 years of my life in New York but never got that accent and when I moved to Florida where I have lived for 12 years now I always though Southern accents sounded barbaric and made it a point to never speak like that so I really don't have an accent.

MissWeasley 04-13-2010 01:58 AM

I'm from Canada... we don't have accents... do we?

camille ryans♥ 04-27-2010 04:17 PM

i hate my accent my friends are mocking me about it..so i avoid speaking
it`s british but with a splash of french or is it spanish[?]..idunno but british is dominant :l
teehee~

MissGlee 05-05-2010 11:30 AM

I'm Irish but I speak with a hint of an American accent! All my friends say I have a real American accent! Probably from watching too much American shows!

Sordane 06-02-2010 12:08 AM

I'm from western New York, and I don't have an accent because I talk perfectly normal!!

:voldie1:

TeamHermioneGranger 06-02-2010 12:10 AM

(apparently very posh) English accent :D

samthehpfreak 06-14-2010 06:56 PM

AUSTRALIAN!!!!!!! and a little bit of British :D

AlwaysSnapesGirl 06-14-2010 11:27 PM

I'm...not sure I really have an accent. xD I'm from the USA and where I live we don't really have very distinct, strong accents or anything like that. Except may be a little bit of a country accent in some people. So I guess I might have a little bit of a country accent sometimes. xD I do enjoy faking other accents though. :P

Lottiepot 06-14-2010 11:33 PM

I'm not sure if I've posted here before [:/] Well anyway, I have a proper Full on English Accent. I'm from Hampshire so I may have a twinge of the west country accent but my friends make fun of me because I'm too posh compared to them!! Apparently it's more Kensington then West Country!

HaRoHeGiNeLu 06-14-2010 11:38 PM

I'm American! I have a normal American accent with south MD mixed in. Especially when I say my 'o's'. They're like elongated. Like 'home' and 'bone' and such. My friends said it sounded English once.. But I was like 'Nahh'.
And I also have a little New English accent.. Like if I were to say 'accent'... It would sound weird... I don't know how I'd describe it... But, yup.

TheLethalBandit 06-15-2010 02:53 PM

As I'm not European or American, I don't know how I would call my accent. I'm from a country from Asia whose official language is both English & *toot*, so I don't really know, lol. But, I guess that whenever I speak English, I follow the standard way of pronouncing the words. (standard--the internationally approved ones, whatever, xp.) Although, I like playing with British & American accents. ;)

Bookworm 06-19-2010 11:47 AM

Oh,I dunno...
I'm absolutely in LOVE with British accent, but, unfortunately,I don't speak that way.
I prefer that,but...Ugh,I guess my accent is similar to American.
It's easier to talk.

Magical Soul 06-23-2010 12:27 AM

^ I agree.. American is easier to talk with for foreigners, but I won't lose hope ^_^
I have an American accent (mixed up with Indian eew!), but I'm learning the English one :D yeah I know it's ridiculous but I do it any ways...

JackW092 06-24-2010 04:41 PM

I have a Scottish accent!

CaityCrucio 07-31-2010 03:01 PM

I have an English, Yorkshire accent.

Zoom 07-31-2010 03:06 PM

Aaaaamerican!!

GoldenSnake 08-01-2010 10:11 PM

um...i guess I have a CHinese accent maybe?? i can't really tell :/

WillowSeawinds 08-02-2010 07:24 PM

I do not have much of an accent. I am from Maine but do not have the strong accent. When I was growing up in Hawai'i (until I was 5), our neighbors were Texan. Every once in awhile, if I am particularly tired, a Y'all might slip out. I do however tend to use what I call Mainerisms......sayings that only Maine people would use. For example, feeling like you are up to your neck in clam flats (meaning overwhelmed).

Bodicea 08-03-2010 01:19 AM

I try to say everything the way it is supposed to be said, regardless of accent--except for on those frequent days when I wake up and everything that comes out of my mouth sounds Irish! When it's worse, it sounds Scottish, and some days, I can't get anything but German out of my mouth. It gets a bit annoying when both your parents only speak Spanish or French!!

KatielovesHP 08-03-2010 11:07 AM

I have a Scottish accent. My friends say it is quite posh.

MugglesStink! 08-08-2010 06:26 AM

I have an awesomeness boston accent!!!! I love it!!!! :) you may know it as a new england accent. For people who have no idea what im takin about a boston accent is when you dont say r's in words like car so its pronounced like cahh. Myne isnt that strong. Besides that I can do a killer english accent!

Lissy Longbottom 08-09-2010 03:03 AM

I have a thick...and I mean THICK...Chicago accent. That typically means we stretch our vowels out a LOT and sound rather nasally :xd: For example when I say Chicago it comes out "Chicaaaaaahhhhgo" I love it though, and I barely notice it unless I'm down at school, where the accents are much more southern...then people are constantly bringing it to my attention :lmao:

squidnie 08-09-2010 03:24 AM

I'm from the western(ish) US, so I don't think I have much of an accent. Although when people point out something that I say, I usally blame it on my 'Hillbilly Accent.' :P I say words like ain't, dunno, and gonna instead of don't know and going to, yer instead of you're, shoulda, woulda... and I don't pronounce t's in words like kitten, button and mountain. So they come out like kih-en, buh-en, and moun-en.

neaped 08-09-2010 08:21 AM

I live in the Netherlands, and people in the Netherlands... Well, have terrible accents when speaking English. But I try to sound as much non-dutch as possible, and so far it's working pretty well.

kallamigk 08-15-2010 11:26 AM

My Swedish accent sounds like a frog when I talk rapid, and my English is okay... I'm trying really hard to make it sound better though. :)

B~Lee 09-11-2010 05:31 AM

I have a southern accent... so Im told...but not the country kind though

Kounuctla 09-21-2010 12:32 PM

According to a lot of people, I have a half-british, half-Aussie accent. Although, my friend who comes from England, says I sound more Aussie.

TheYoungTimpani 09-28-2010 07:10 PM

I had never thought that I had an accent, but now that I'm at college, several people have commented on it. When I was in Florida, someone asked me if I was from Alabama (quite the insult). Dad always told me I had a Midwest accent because I would say certain words funny.
However, now when I hear myself, there is no denying that Arkansas drawl. Its not quite a full-on Mississippi Southern accent, but it is distinctly Southern.
Its fun to say smart things in a Southern accent. ;)

TeamVolturi 10-07-2010 10:45 PM

German-Australian sounds weird actually

harrypottterbroadway 10-07-2010 10:53 PM

Heh, I have a thick American accent... how average.

CelticPagan#3 10-27-2010 08:11 PM

I have a pretty strong Yorkshire accent, I never really thought I had too strong an accent until I came to university and i had to repeat things several times, it was as if I was speaking a different language...and I've only moved to the midlands, like an hour away from my hometown! lol. Apparently my accent is very thick lol but I love it, it makes me, me. so what the hell, right? lol

ThePastelBookworm 10-27-2010 08:19 PM

i have noraml amercian voice you should her my sister

ThePastelBookworm 10-27-2010 08:24 PM

I have a southren/britt acent its a mix when i talk but you can't tell becuase i hide it.it only comes out when i'm talking to someone on the phone who talks southern or briit.

Mugglemad 10-27-2010 08:26 PM

Berkshire accent!

MeggieMew 10-27-2010 10:18 PM

I have a Cajun, South western accent.

gabbie 11-18-2010 08:57 PM

I guess that i have British accent :)

Some Mystical Girl 11-18-2010 08:58 PM

English Acceentt. I have quite a neutral one- no real strong accent. Kinda think Emma Watson and that's what i sound like. :) <33

city_girl_95 11-18-2010 09:01 PM

LANDAN, no apparantly I have quite a neutral posh accent (I don't think so though) I always get compared to Joanna Lumley (it's a lie)

UnicornDragonPatronus 11-19-2010 03:27 PM

American- East Coast- Philadelphian (kind-of) accent. Compared to many other people our area of the U.S. I don't have an accent- but I pronounce a few things differently. Like orange, I pronounce arange. And while I don't do it, other people in my area pronounce water as wooder... it's quite funny.

*Mad_Hatter* 12-01-2010 08:32 PM

I have the American accent, although my first language is Spanish. Sadly, my Spanish now has an English accent to it...but all is good:D.

TheLethalBandit 12-23-2010 12:45 PM

Sounds pretty interesting to me. Lol. Not to sound stalker-ish or anything. Anyway, the word "german" simply caught my eye. Just nothing--I'm pretty much an enthusiast to German stuff.

i have a georgie accent;)

SarcasticStrawberry 01-31-2011 04:23 AM

I have a Southern, North American accent, I sound like Paula Deen Ya'll :D

itsjustjesse 01-31-2011 07:23 AM

I can speak in a pretty good British Accent from Cardiff region (was told so by a college friend from York area).

I guess I have barely an accent compared to the people in my state. I live in Vermont. And I say T's. (thats a big deal here)...normally vermonters or the people in my town area say Vermuhn instead of Vermont...me, I say the T.

I absorb and am able to reproduce accents easily, when reading french I can have a pretty fluid french accent...I can speak with a french Canadian accent, as well as an English-Canadian accent.

AshleyWheat 03-09-2011 09:20 AM

I have a light southern accent, I've been told. I can't notice it, though :/

tonks2 03-09-2011 09:42 AM

I have a completely RP accent, I'm happy to say - despite the fact that I've grown up in the north of England, surrounded by Mancunian, Scouse, Brummy, Stoke, Essex, and Bristol accents!!

I pick up, and imitate other accents very easily - including Scouse, American, Bronx, Italian, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, and even Indian! Very handy, considering my chosen profession...
(I'm an actress-in-training!)

weasleytwinsROCK 03-12-2011 04:56 PM

I have a (what i would say) fairly normal english accent. Its more southern than northen

Watson 03-12-2011 05:06 PM

I have an Australian/English/American accent due to moving around a lot. It's more british than Australian now (Even though I am an Aussie -pouts-)

SlytherinX_Green 03-12-2011 05:12 PM

I have a soft southern American accent. You wouldn't think that since my first languages were Italian and French but...there it is, ya'll. Lol.

slytherus 03-29-2011 09:03 AM

Mostly Southern English. Sometimes I use American accent. I like to imitate Australian's though. :P

Slowfie 04-01-2011 07:36 PM

I don't really have a strong accent, but according to someone in my class you can hear some Irish and American mixed accent whenever I speak English.
And whenever I speak Dutch I don't really have an accent either, except for a weird 'r' which all the posh people use, but I just can't say it any other way haha.

mitchie08 04-08-2011 02:51 PM

I'm a Filipino but I can do American and British better than my own language....I guess I was over trained in English...hehe...

chrisd2000 04-11-2011 04:28 PM

I have western pennsylvanian accent.

LunaLovegood5 04-11-2011 04:36 PM

Irish! Irish! Irish!!!! :d

JustAlice 04-15-2011 03:58 PM

Clear and well spoken British I suppose... but sometimes it's very Northern/Manchester... it ends up scouse if I'm annoyed about something XD

Sugar_addict 04-15-2011 11:23 PM

I have an American accent, to be more specific I have a Wisconsin one, but it's not very strong.

natekka 04-22-2011 07:42 PM

Ummm....I have no idea :) My Dad is from London....so it's more Southern than most people's :D

TwistedHearts 05-03-2011 05:50 AM

No accent. Well, I'm from the Philippines but I don't have a Filipino accent. I'm more of those call-center agent type of accent. Because, I have to admit, some people you find out on the streets here don't really speak English that good.

ThexGoldenxHeart 07-10-2011 04:13 PM

I don't really know where my accent is from. Maybe a bit American since I got it mostly from American movies and series. I've also gained a bit of British accent in the past few days because of SOOO much Harry Potter stuff and I can speak with it if I want to. But my natural accent is closer to American (:

city_girl_95 07-10-2011 04:24 PM

Souuf Landan!

Nah I'm joking, I've got an obvious London accent but its quite neutral for my acting  so I do sound like I'm london, but sometimes I trick people and break out in Gloustershire ;)

stephani 07-11-2011 04:19 PM

I think my accent eastern Java language support is very strong, because from childhood I lived in Surabaya Indonesia, but now I think a bit confused because I went to taiwan

marshmallowXpie 07-12-2011 12:09 AM

I have a bit of a New England accent, but it's not that obvious when I talk.

SupaWeena 07-12-2011 02:37 AM

I'm country sounding. Southern, to be a bit more descriptive.

VelociraptorPatronus 07-16-2011 04:45 AM

I have a really strange Australian accent. Any non-Aussies immediately pick it and insist I have a "cute accent". But any fellow Aussies INSIST that I must not be Australian because of how I talk. I have been mistaken for British, Welsh, American, Kiwi and also French, but only when I speak Russian :P
It drives me crazy as I'm always asked "Your accent is so interesting? Where are you from" and I'm like "Here. Just here." And no one ever believes me!!

LelanaJ 07-16-2011 07:08 AM

Texas accent. I tend to use 'ya'll' inevitably because 'you guys' seems awkward to say... haha.

PrincessVoldemort 07-16-2011 10:32 PM

It's kinda strange. I've lived in Wisconsin all my life, but I don't have a Wisconsin accent. It's a mix between a Baltimore accent, an Appalchian accent, a Brooklyn accent, and a Chicago accent.

Sarah Bogle Fleming 07-19-2011 05:36 PM

New Yorker baby!!! I really don't notice it unless I'm around people who have Southern accents and they point it out lol. It is weird though because when I went to the UK for 3 weeks, I started sounding British! I wish I had a Scottish accent though!!!

potter06 07-31-2011 06:42 PM

i guess i have an Americn accent, i dont really notice ,aybe to others it
does sound like i have one
