2015: Meet Lissy Longbottom

Hello SSers! I'm Lissy! I've been on SS for years, basically half my life at this point o____O But I absolutely LOVE it. I've made so many amazing friends and learned a bit about myself along the way. I've done a bit of everything on here - I was a Department Head in the Ministry, Divination Professor in the RP, Quidditch Captain for Gryffindor, etc. and currently, I am a moderator for Madame Malkins as well as the Slytherin male prefect (even though I AM a girl, I just play a boy! )

My favorite Harry Potter character is pretty obvious - I love Neville. LOVE LOVE LOVE. That love extends to Matthew Lewis, of course. I wish I could be best friends with him I'm also a Hufflepuff to my core, despite what my current SS house would suggest (although I am having WAY too much fun playing a snake ) I've been to WWoHP three times (once with the new DA edition) and it was seriously the best. Highly recommend it 10/10 5 stars.

When I'm not on SS, I am currently a vet tech in training and I work the front desk at a pet hospital. I have a coonhound mix named Shenzi and I'm waiting for the opportunity to move out so I can have like, twenty more animals I love sports (namely the Chicago White Sox!) crafting, shopping, and watching way too much TV - mostly Game of Thrones. I'm also BJ Novak's #1 fan (probably) and got to meet him and it was just AMAZING. I'm also OBSESSED with any and ALL things Disney. I even worked at the Disney store for a while *cough* ok like 3 weeks *cough* this summer!

Anyways, that is ME in a nutshell. Ask away!!

1. OOOOH let's see. Probably selective color. I abuse that tool most days but whatever #noregrets

1. I have a LOT of favorite animals, but I really like bears. Like, black bears, brown bears, etc. And of course dogs. I LOVE dogs.

2. AGAIN A LOT OF FAVORITES haha Arya and Jon are probably in a dead tie for the top spot, though.

3. Bagels and cream cheese. Hands down.

4. Oh that's a good one! I LOVE that he is just so sweet and never gives up, even though no one really thinks all that much of him. He never really does get a ton of confidence in himself, but he doesn't let that stop him from at least TRYING and I love that. I relate to that so much.

GAH OMG SO MANY DISNEY QUESTIONS THIS IS GONNA BE HARD

1. Magic Kingdom for sure. I love classic Disney

2. UGH OMG UMMMM. Probably Splash Mountain. Although I absolutely LOVED the new Seven Dwarfs Mine Train so that is probably taking over the top spot. I seriously almost started crying during the mine scene because I felt like I was REALLY THERE and I get really emotional about that movie for some weird reason lol

3. HMMMMMM. I think that would have to be...

*Akerhaus - Princesses and also the food is just REALLY GOOD. I loved the butternut squash ravioli

*50's Prime Time Cafe - while it doesn't have the BEST food, I love the waiters and how they give you a hard time and really get into their roles

*Crystal Palace - Their breakfast buffet is to die for. Also WINNIE THE POOH!

4. I used to be SUPER scared of Tower of Terror but now it's one of my favorites. I'm still a bit leery of Mission Space: Orange, which is the more intense one, but I can handle the green one. And even though this one has been GONE for a while and that Stitch ride replaced it, I used to be TERRIFIED of that "Alien Encounter" ride they used to have in the Magic Kingdom. Never went on it before it closed and probably wouldn't now

5. I don't know why, but I could totally imagine you as a Photopass person haha One of the ones who makes you do silly poses and stuff too, not just the generic picture And me...I would LOVE to work on the Jungle Cruise because I have all the jokes memorized already sooooo yeah Hehe

1. Anything with peanut butter. I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to ice cream JUST PUT PEANUT BUTTER IN IT AND I WILL BE HAPPY. This applies to most foods, to be honest.

2. I have a couple, but my favorite is probably from Gandalf, which I actually have tattooed on my side. Here's the full quote:

Long story short I have bad anxiety and I went through a really bad bout of it during college, but feel stronger for it, so it was kind of a blessing in disguise, which is what I feel the quote is all about. Plus I just love LoTR

3. OOOH UM I think just behind the chair in my living room lol. I don't remember playing hide and seek much but when I did I feel like I hid there most of the time

OK ANYWAYS

1. I had a LOT of favorite Disney movies, namely Pocahontas and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, but I think Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree was my all time fav. My mom says I broke the VHS haha

2. OOOH fun songs? I can't remember to be honest >___< I remember the Disneyland sing along video though and that was AWESOME

3. Donald Duck! But I also love Cheshire Cat, Dopey, Sleeping Beauty and Lady from Lady and the Tramp. But Donald is my favorite "classic" character

4. Any type of hound dog. I'm biased for obvious reasons But hounds are just SO ADORABLE AND SO STINKIN CUTE

5. OH I ACCIDENTALLY ANSWERED THIS ONE ABOVE haha. Sleeping Beauty!

6. STORY TIME. Ok so KEVIN JONAS was the model I used for Cale, Caleb's dad, back in the day. When it came time to pick a model for Caleb I wanted someone who had darker hair and had lots of pics so I wouldn't have to change models as he got older (I hate doing that haha) and one day I was like....why don't I just use JOE? I knew he had a lot of pics, he OBVIOUSLY looks like Kevin...and there ya go

Cale's model is now Tom Hiddleston cuz the curly hair just FYI in case you were wondering hehe

1. STORY TIME x2 so I was on the bowling team in high school, and we would always come up with nicknames since they were shorter to enter into the computer for scoring haha. But I hate the nickname MISSY (MY REAL NAME IS MELISSA IN CASE I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT) so my friends were like well what about LISSY and when I started getting active on here and making fraaaaans I just told people to call me that!

2. Is it cliche if I say MADAME MALKINS? hehe No but really I LOVE graphic making and seeing everyone's graphics and the contests and all that fun stuff. After that, it'd have to be the school and ministry RPG

Hello! Nice to meet you as well!

1. I actually didn't get sorted into Slytherin haha. SS has a really awesome policy that allows you to switch houses after you've been an active participant in the RPG for 7 terms! I was originally sorted into Gryffindor, which I get about 30% of the time...70% of the time I get Huffie I did Slytherin for this character because he is the exact opposite of me in almost every way, except his love for animals! haha

1. HMMM. I don't really remember honestly haha. I know that I just started looking up coloring tutorials online, got myself a free trial of PS, and just kind of went from there!

2. OH WOW. They just kind of...come to me I guess? I usually see actors or actresses I like and go "OOOOOOH, they'd make a good charrie!" And go from there, so I probably go in the opposite direction most people do haha. I like to make different types of charries too, so I think...what have I NOT played yet? For example, with Addi, my current Ministry charrie, I knew two things. I wanted to play a Longbottom, and I wanted Emmy Rossum as the model. And then I thought..."wouldn't it be cool if she was a Ravenclaw?" 1. I like it! I like oldies rock more than current rock, like The Beatles, The Who, Queen, etc

2. RED! But I'll eat yellow too. Candy is candy, man

3. Soft copies, I like to be able to bend the covers a bit so I can get comfortable reading, and I have bad circulation in my hands so hard covers are just asking for me to have my hands fall asleep haha

okay, I know that's TOO many but well... hope you don't mind. hehehe

1. CHEESE. Any and all cheese. I'm a very easy girl to please when it comes to pizza haha.

2. COFFEE 10000000%. Although I've really gotten into tea lately. I've been trying to cut back my coffee intake and replace it with tea to get my caffeine fix haha.

3. Hehe. Love the hashtag UMMMMM. 1 - I have 3 tattoos (technically 4 but the one I just got is right by an old one so I am lumping them together) 2 - I originally went to college to be a teacher. I taught for a year and HATED it and now I'm going through a career change but I couldn't be happier about it! 3 - I recently signed up to be a Jamberry nails consultant and it is soooo fun and highly addicting collecting nail wraps 4 - I still play Pokemon on my DS and also Pokemon Stadium on my old N64 5 - I have never had a cavity in my teeth *knocks on wood*

4. Oooooh that's a good one! Let's see here...I think best memory would be getting my new job back in April My last day at my old job was pretty cool too and they gave me a really nice card and a Starbucks gift card! That was really sweet

5. Oh yes! I am definitely loyal and hard working. I do have Gryffindor traits too, but I prefer the hard working and loyalty to risk taking any day

6. Canon professor - I absolutely love Gilderoy Lockhart because he is just SO RIDICULOUS RPG professor - I have to say I love Bunz. She goes all the way back to when Cale was in school and he had a huge crush on her in Herbology class hahahaha

7. England! Although I would take Germany too. It was beautiful and I miss it

8. I'm um...not a big ice cream person BUT I do love Peppermint ice cream when I do have it!

10. Alex is AWESOME! haha awww I'm so glad someone remembers him He is currently wandering Europe harvesting trees for wand manufacturing and using runes to seek them out and stuff....interesting things. He sends OWLs to his niece and nephew for the holidays and also sends Sierra Christmas cards, but doesn't really keep in touch outside of that. He's ok with that though, he likes being on the road and traveling and stuff

Definitely Brunette Neville, because Matt's performance in the movies was actually what got me interested in him as a character (around the 4th movie or so) and I didn't even REALIZE he was supposed to be blonde until I reread the books haha. 1. This has happened to me once before actually haha. And it was "Africa" by Toto. No lie. I had it on repeat in my car from like...August to October of last year.

2. Depends on the day and the weather! Sandals are fun because I get to show off my tattoos and they let me toes breath butttttt sneakers can also really complete the look sometimes.

3. I'd have to say Pokemon X but I haven't had the money to buy the two newest ones which I bet would easily take the top spot if I weren't poor!
