2015: Meet Lissy Longbottom

Hello SSers! I'm Lissy! I've been on SS for years, basically half my life at this point o____O But I absolutely LOVE it. I've made so many amazing friends and learned a bit about myself along the way. I've done a bit of everything on here - I was a Department Head in the Ministry, Divination Professor in the RP, Quidditch Captain for Gryffindor, etc. and currently, I am a moderator for Madame Malkins as well as the Slytherin male prefect (even though I AM a girl, I just play a boy! )

My favorite Harry Potter character is pretty obvious - I love Neville. LOVE LOVE LOVE. That love extends to Matthew Lewis, of course. I wish I could be best friends with him I'm also a Hufflepuff to my core, despite what my current SS house would suggest (although I am having WAY too much fun playing a snake ) I've been to WWoHP three times (once with the new DA edition) and it was seriously the best. Highly recommend it 10/10 5 stars.

When I'm not on SS, I am currently a vet tech in training and I work the front desk at a pet hospital. I have a coonhound mix named Shenzi and I'm waiting for the opportunity to move out so I can have like, twenty more animals I love sports (namely the Chicago White Sox!) crafting, shopping, and watching way too much TV - mostly Game of Thrones. I'm also BJ Novak's #1 fan (probably) and got to meet him and it was just AMAZING. I'm also OBSESSED with any and ALL things Disney. I even worked at the Disney store for a while *cough* ok like 3 weeks *cough* this summer!

Anyways, that is ME in a nutshell. Ask away!!

1. I just finished the Deathly Hallows and I was wondering, do you think everyone ended up with the right person?
2. Throughout the whole series, which part made you cry the hardest?
3. Have you tried Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans? If so, which is your favorite flavor? Which is your least favorite? If you haven't, I can tell you from personal experience - the reward is worth the risk!
4. What other Fandoms are you in beside HP and Disney?

3. Um...in general? ENGLAND! So I guess that kind of counts for magical too I've never been and I ADORE the culture and just want to go sooo bad and see all the history and whatnot gahhhh

The fact that it brought me to Snitchseeker! I have made so many friends and enjoyed the world of HP so much more than I think possible if I hadn't gotten immersed in it here.

1. Well Neville should have ended up with me SO ahem. YES hehe. I have always been a Ron/Hermione shipper. And I was never a huge fan of Ginny/Harry but I never disliked them either so I was cool with them.

And of course I'm glad Neville found SOMEONE. Even if it wasn't Luna. I was honestly a bit of a Ginny/Neville shipper so I was KIND OF ROOTING for Harry to die simply so THAT could happen but I'm just happy my boy is happy

3. I have! I HATED the popcorn flavor and black pepper >____< and honestly I don't remember the other flavors haha. Only the ones that scarred my taste buds, I suppose

4. LotR sort of - I used to play the online RPG game. Pokemon, totally. Just got Alpha Sapphire TODAY *fist pumps* Other than that, HP and Disney are my big ones

1. I've been to Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando, but nothing else. It was amazing!

2. Order of the Phoenix was both my favorite book and movie. Although I was pretty bummed about how the movie turned out. They could have done a LOT more. Still, the whole students vs. Umbridge and the Ministry plot and the DA and everything is just my absolute favorite thing EVER

3. I am 24! Almost halfway to 30 o______O

4. I joined when I was 12. I have literally been on this site for half my life. WHAT.

5. As I said above, I have a Hufflepuff shirt that I LOVE. I also have all the books, a wand from WWoHP (that I actually got from Ollivanders and the whole wand experience, it was SO FUN) and then some knick knacks from the bookstores like a Time Turner, Rememberall, mini Hedwig, etc.

6. I've tried Chocolate Frogs, Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans, Peppermint Toads, a Cauldron Cake, and then Butterbeer and Pumpkin Juice and they were all amazing

1. Favorite Death Eater is definitely Lucius because he's really like...a pathetic Death Eater who tries to be tough but turns out to just be awful haha. And least favorite is Bellatrix, not because of her character, but because of what she DID to my POOR NEVILLE

2. Totally Ron I LOVEEEE Ron. Least favorite is probably Harry. HE DOES NOT THINK and it drives me nuts

3. Favorite - Lockhart. He is so ridiculous I can't help but love him. Least favorite - Snape. He's an awful teacher not just to Harry but EVERYONE I'd have failed potions like every year if I had to deal with him

4. I dunno WHY, but I can NOT see myself in Ravenclaw at all. Which is odd because I like learning and I love being logical and I definitely don't just jump into things but I dunno. I DON'T SEE IT

5. Slytherin - d'awww I love Draco. Same reasons as Lucius above - he's trying to be all tough but he's not and I just wanna pinch his cheeks and give him a "you tried" star. Ravenclaw - Lockhart. DID YOU KNOW HE WAS A RAVENCLAW? This blew my mind. Hufflepuff - mah girl Tonks. I love her

6. Probably Care of Magical Creatures since I love animals!

7. I HATE THE NAME ALBUS SEVERUS. I just feel like Dumbledore and Snape didn't do nearly enough to warrant that kind of honor from Harry. I dunno. I liked Dumbledore and all but I didn't see him as this knight in shining armour hero and the 7th book certainly didn't help. Same with Snape. I felt sorry for him yeah, but what did he do for Harry? Really?

My favorite Death Eater is actually Bellatrix, I think she is a strong character and portrays women well, despite what she did. I love all three from the Golden Trio, but I'd say Hermione for the same reasons as Bellatrix, a strong girl character who will not be told what she can or can't do. Fave professor is Lupin, he's there for Harry when nobody else is. My least fave is also Snape for the same reasons. I am the same way, I couldn't see myself in RC even though I might have all the qualities. Fave Slytherin is probably Draco but I also love Regulus Black, he's awesome and he really cared about his house-elf. Favorite Ravenclaw is Luna Lovegood, and she is my second favorite character, and I did know Lockhart was Ravenclaw. (First is Sirius Black) Hufflepuff is also Tonks. I completely agree with you on the Albus Severus thing. I hate Snape and I hate the way Dumbledore treats Harry in Order of the Phoenix. I really want to take transfiguration, I think it would be amazing.
