Professor Rae leaned against the shack and took deep breaths. She waited for Lainey to follow her around the corner, wondering how she could get those poor students back to the castle quickly when she couldn't even be within a few feet of them without feeling great loss and disgust.

His demenor was calm, but focussed and determined. He would do whatever it took to keep the other students safe. He had his hands in his robe pockets, as he stood firmly in place, his right hand on his wand, if necessary. He turned to look at the other stdutents with him. They were all quite ready themselves. He then turned back towards the Entrance Hall once more. He was ready ::

Professor Lainey was so relieved to finally see Rae. But, a bit worried at the apprehension from her..."Alright, Rae..." she said, moving to follow her. "Well, let's be quick about it, then. I had to either leave the door unguarded or not come at all if I didn't leave them there. Terry walked out the entrance and saw Kristie and Elijah standing just outside the doors. She looked over in the direction of Professor Shine's hut and saw Professor Lainey floating nearby. Professor Rae and she were having a serious conversation. Terry then noticed the blanket laying on the lawn. For the first time it finally sunk in. The rumors were true. Five more students were dead killed by Voldemortist. She scanned the Dark Forest beyond the school. Surely Voldemortist wouldn't return with two former aurors so close. Terry turned her attention back to the entrance. So far, no students had tried to come out on the grounds. She hoped it would remain that way. | |
