Once again, it is that time of the year when another term passes and a new one begins. Let's wave goodbye to the Term 46 chat thread and say hello to the shiny new chat thread for Term 47. 
It is now time for your eager student to board the train back to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, their home away from home for the next nine months. I'm sure everyone is ready to head back to school, even after the strange events that occurred just months ago. Will this term bring something even more stressful than an international magical competition? Will student lives be put at risk once more? Or will there finally be a quiet year at Hogwarts?

Seeing how fast the timeline goes, it's just easier for sanity and makes a lot more sense. The only time when a lesson could logically be the FIRST one of term is if it's done right when school opens.
Gryffindor actually seems really fun to play. Maybe partly because I am so NOT a Gryffindor in real life. | |

Now THAT is making me nervous because hahahahha aaaahhhhh I have no issues RPing a Gryffie because I'm one and then Huffie was pretty easy toooooo! I was neeerrvvvooouuuussss like akldjfnsdjkf when I went green but my charrie developed by herself and it was like I was just watching and it was WEIRD, lol. But I survived.
Might go back to the green house again someday  after Ravenclaw, that is.

I like the whole 'this is not your first lesson' thing but I suppose there's the option of saying it is if the professor wants to I definitely am glad that my first actual lessons with staff charries I RPd them as their first lesson taught at Hogwarts since IC wise it made it a lot more interesting and fun for people to adjust to the individual charrie teaching and points 'distribution' ahem style. I don't miss the old 'what do you know about X' stuff but I also remember as a newbie how fun it was to literally experience that first time too so there's that lol.

Hufflepuff was super easy XD Slytherin is like stranger than I imagined it to be, even if i equate myself with being one. But I think it's strange because watching Skylar develop and when these Slytherin tendencies comes out it's like WOAH Quote:

oh and about the whole first class/ succeeding class = IC timeframe discussion, i for one like it for the most part, however it gets tricky when the subject is taught by a new Professor. theres always the feeling of getting-to-know-the-new-guy thats expected in every first lesson, and i gotta say its kinda a weird RP feeling that, IC your charrie is supposed to be familiar with the new Prof already, but OOC you have no clue what to expect
naturally we cant have all the new Profs start their classes that same OOC week just to satisfy an IC timeframe, but that may be a conundrum we can all think about and try to make a compromise on?
