Or I did it wrong too, but I'm nearly positive its a recent change that was made in the way classes are done
Which does make a whole lot more sense ... like hey, you can't say you don't know this student/professor because you've been going to classes with them for three weeks now. So this is not your first time meeting, unless you're admitting to sleeping during classes
