"Maaaaaaaybeeeee." Maggie smirked, but acting all casual otherwise. There was no way Noel was going to get any more information out of her because frankly there was none. Sorry not sorry. This was her secret. Or secrets. Or whatever.

Candidates? Her lips curled into a grin when he said candidates. CandidateS. Plural. Once again she wasn't going to give him any names because no. There was SOMETHING she could say though. Which was why she leaned in again. "What's your opinion on Ravenclaws?" Hmm? That was vague enough.

And he was older so he probably knew more about the houses and stuff.

Maggie giggled at his next words, glancing back up at his hair. "What an honor...."

The view was amazing but the lake had an even more amazing view in her option. Emmylou felt a tap on her shoulder. She jumped a little. Ugh! She really hated how jumpy she was lately. She felt as if there was something wrong with her but it was something completely different. She had no reason to be jumpy at Hogwarts. There was no reason whatsoever. The blonde turned around and looked up at the person behind her. "Hi baby." She blushed, that was second time that she had said that to him. She rubbed her cheeks lightly. She didn't know why she blushed so much around him. She wasn't embarrassed, she's very comfortable around him. So what was the deal?

The blonde nodded. "I am, it'll be winter soon and I don't do good with the cold so I might as well enjoy the warm sunshine while it's still here." She said taking his hand and following him into the courtyard. Emmylou looked at the blanket at the ground and smiled brightly. "I would love to." The sixth year said while sitting down on the blanket.

Benzi was unamused by the wand twirling. He didn't understand why people did that, it was a dangerous and annoying habit and they should stop.

. . . His 'awesome' shrinking abilities? Was he aware that shrinking objects was second year material? Perhaps third for the more struggling students? Honestly. Benzi pulled out his wand, and raised his eyebrow pointedly at Chace.

"Finite," he cast down at the book, and watched with smug satisfaction as the book returned to its original size. "Or you can use Engorgio, I just think this way is neater," because when it came to magic Benzi was very neat and tidy. His room was very much a non magical entity and therefore could be as messy as he liked. Likewise his area of the dorm.

"You're Chace right?" You know, just to make sure he was picking on the right person.

Henric grabbed the back of his head and began rubbing it. So blurry....he shook his head, hoping to clear his vision while trying to smooth his throbbing pain. He looked up, to find Lux peering down at him, concerned. He waved his hand indicating that he was alright..NOT...he was obviously in pain but he tried not to show it to her. Henric looked at her with a pained and embarrassed expression on his face, he said,"No no...I'm f-fine...sorry."

When she mentioned his pet toad, Henric sat up straight and looked around frantically.
"Yes! Where did she go?!"he asked her.He needed to find her or he would be dead meat if llia found out he had let their shared pet toad got away. Oh no...no...not good! Henric got up, rather unsteadily and started to look around for his toadette. Blimey...where was she hiding?! Fortunately, he spotted two little webby feet peeking out under a nearby bush.

"There you are!"he cried, rushing to catch his toad before it could go any further. Henric managed to grab hold of Princess Charlotte and held it up for him to see. He checked his toad for any kind of injury that might harm this little thing. Fuuu...there was none. Henric turned around to Lux and announced,"Got her!"

Kace grinned and chuckled when she blushed calling him babe. There was nothing wrong with that. He smiled and just stroked her cheek and kissed the top of her nose to let her know everything was okay. "That is right we need to enjoy this summer sunshine. I need to work on my tan though can't you tell.." he joked referring to his already tanned skin. He saw Emmy needed a little more work. He grinned at that idea and sat down with Emmy on the blanket and then he summoned some sandwiches from his dorm. He gave one to Emmy and said, "Do you want one?" It was Peanut Butter and Jelly which a classical favorite in his opinion. He was gonna dig into his sandwich anyways and he took a first bite and smiled. "Do I have something on my face?" he grinned.

It was the boy she had seen around in classes...Henric! He didn't look too good, and that made Lux feel a little more worried. "Maybe you should rest for a moment, then I can talk you to --" Or not. Looked like he was going after his toad instead.

Shaking her head at how silly boys could be, Lux watched him have at it. She would have joined in of course, but he managed to locate the creature on his own. Smiling, she looked at toad that he was holding triumphantly. While she would never call them pretty, they seemed like decent pets and at least they weren't rats. Lux didn't like rats.

"What's her name?" she asked as she cautiously reached her hand out towards the toad.

...... What was this kids problem? Chance decided to brush it off. Maybe the kid had some bad pumpkin pastries or something that was making him act like a total butt prick. It was always good to brush up on the basics. He picked up his book, not commenting on how he had made his book back normal sized or even the fact that Chance had forgotten that spell. Seeing from the demeanor of this kid, he wouldn't let him forget it.

Chance was about to try another spell, one more advanced, but first he needed to get himself from mister know-it-all here. Chance wasn't a quick learner and had to practice harder to get things to stick in his mind. He didn't need some stranger coming up to him and telling him how to do things. He hadn't asked for anyways help. He was about to walk off when he was asked if his name was Chace.

Shaking his head, he replied with a simple, "No sorry." He didn't need to let the kid know that he was only one letter off. He could let himself figure that one out. Besides, it could be that he was indeed looking for a Chace. But he surely wasn't one.

Evie only laughed again when Caleb told her to be more careful. ASSAULTING? Hah. DETENTION? Yeah right. Evie walked around the bench he was sitting on. "Good thing we're friends, then." She sat down on the bench and crossed her legs. Why was she pulling his hair? "Why do you think?" She wasn't MEAN, so there was really only one reason. Even if he didn't read the aparecium, he had to have heard about it by now.

"It was more the element of surprise," Caleb corrected her. So really how hard she pulled was a moot point. It was SNEAKING UP ON HIM and scaring him that he took issue with. Plus it was just rude! And embarrassing. The fact that she actually BELIEVED the Aparecium article or even wondered a little bit about his hair was...well, disappointing. He hoped no one would even think twice about whether or not it was fake.

"You don't know that. In states of emergency I bet I could. Like...if vampires tried taking over the school," he said with a shrug. If someone was fooling around when the vampires were invading and Caleb threw them in detention, he was sure Truebridge would back him up on that. Anddd...of course he knew WHY. He just hated to ADMIT he knew why she was pulling his hair and whatnot. Sigh. This was even worse than when people thought he'd killed Ethan for the badge.

"For the record, I have real hair. AND so does my dad. Plus, if I really was balding, do you think I'd send CUTTY to do my dirty work?" he asked with a smirk. He trusted his friend about as far as he could throw him...at least when it came to doing anything just for him. If Cutty got a benefit out of anything, he'd do it, but not just for Caleb.

While the Hufflepuff Common Room was one of her favorite places at Hogwarts, Leah did not want to be seen there as of recently. She was avoiding people. Actually, she was avoiding one particular Fourth Year Puff. She did not know why she was being so - sensitive about the Aparecium article. That gossip paper was all lies anyway.

And even if it was true, she did not care. She should not care.

But it still hurt. She thought Henric liked her. She thought she liked him. Now she was not sure about anything.

The Fifth Year walked through the corridor and into the Courtyard. She continued towards her faaavorite tree for a much needed break when her dark brown eyes landed on... her. "His female" or whatever phrase the Aparecium had delicately used. So not only did Ilia decide to take her friend away from her, but also chose to steal her tree. Nice.

Biting down on her lower lip, she turned around to leave.

Emmylou smiled at him as he stroked her cheek and kissed her nose. That was his way of saying that nothing was wrong and everything was okay. It made the sixth year relax a little more. "I'm not looking forward to the winter weather." She would probably end up sleeping next to the fireplace just like she's been doing since she's been attending Hogwarts. Emmylou looked at him when he asked her if she wanted one. She looked at the sandwich and nodded. "I'll have one." Just like that Kace had summoned a few sandwiches. She took one and took at bite into it. She looked at him and shook her head. "Nope." She just looked at him more a moment or two because she loves his face and couldn't stop looking at it.

As the big puff began to stroke her cheek, he noticed how relaxed she was. He smiled at her and continued his gesture. "I know but I am. I mean I am looking forward to ice skating, making snowmen, eating cocoa and snuggling by the fire with a certain someone." he playfully grinned and tickled her a little bit. When he offered her the sandwich, he was glad Emmy accepted it because she seemed like she needed some nourishment. I mean the way her mother acted seemed to affected her appetite slightly. As he began to eat, he smiled and was glad he didn't have anything on his face.

He was gonna be a little mean and he smiled slyly and took a little bit of his jelly and smeared it on her cheek. "I think you have a little something on your cheek.." he said chuckling.

Henric grinned,"Her name is Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana...we named her after the royal princess,its alright...you can hold her if you like, she don't bite," he told her as he watched as she cautiously reached out to pet it. The throbbing pain he felt earlier on his head was slightly starting to feel better.

"About earlier, uh..I didn't mean to startle you, I was trying to catch this little critter, uh...I don't think you remember me..uh...I'm Henric by the way,same house..uh..different year,forth year to be exact,"he rubbed the back of his head, rather sheepishly.

Emmylou beamed and looked up at her boyfriend. She still didn't know how to ice skate and she built one snowman. She really loved the idea of cuddling by the fire. "I don't know about the outdoor activities but I like the idea of drinking hot chocolate and cuddling by the fire." She nodded, then she looked at the sandwich, the sixth year set it back down on the small plastic baggie. She was hungry but she needed to stop eating for now. Emmylou looked away for a moment after she stopped eating but then she looked back at Kace as he smeared jelly on her face. Emmylou giggled and tackled him to the ground. She had him now. She nodded and looked at him with a big smile on her face.

"Well I can teach you all that stuff nothing to worry about. Besides IF you can come visit me this winter, you can come skate at the pond near my house. That is where I learned.." he shrugged. She didn't have to if she was nervous. "But of course you don't have to do it Emms." he added in. He smiled and cuddling by the fire sounds nice. "I mean I can obviously stay at Hogwarts too. That is not a problem or if you wanna go somewhere you are more than welcome to crash at my place.." he offered and kissed her lips. He knew things were tight at her home right now. Also he was wondering what her holiday plans were.

When he felt her tackle him to the ground after he was laughing smearing jelly on her face, he was impressed. He didn't expect that. "You know you owe me another half of a sandwich.." he teased. "What are you gonna do now?" he challenged her.

She wasn't sure if she wanted to learn how to ice skate right away. The pond at his house would freeze over? Emmylou gave Kace a confused look. "The pond at your house freezes over?" She didn't know that Kansas got snow at all. That was weird. Well living more south that him was different. She had never seen snow in Alabama. Emmylou didn't know where she was going for the holidays. She wanted to spend it with Aunt Raeanne and Uncle Cam but she also wanted to spend it with Kace. "I don't know what I'm doing for the holidays yet." Maybe she would just stay at Hogwarts? Emmylou smiled as he kissed her, she kissed him back.

The blonde looked down at Kace. It wasn't very often that she was looking down at him. Maybe just when he got to class before her and was sitting down, that's about it. Emmylou sat back up and gave him her sandwich. "Here." She said handing him the sandwich that she only took one bite out of.

Kace nodded and it was common knowledge for him but possibly not for others. "Yeah it does and then in the summer sometimes I swim in it. I mean you will see it whenever you visit me.." he smiled and bopped her nose. He nodded and he understood, she didn't know what she was gonna do it. "Do you know if Cinna is spending the holidays here?" he asked curiously. I mean maybe she can be a helpful deciding factor on whether Emmy should stay at Hogwarts or go home.

To be honest he had no idea if he wanted to go home and spend it with the family or stay at Hogwarts. "You know what me either. I know my mom gets kind of bummed if I stay here because then it just isn't the whole family together thing you know?" he shrugged. He would figure it out eventually. But his mother is like whatever makes you happy." She is like you do what you want Kace but he knew deep down she was hurt.

Kace knew Emmy wasn't gonna do anything. I mean he might have tickled her and that was about it. "Awww why thank you.." he said and took another bite and chewed and swallowed. She needed some kind of a payment so he kissed her jelly stained cheek and he licked some off.

That was good! "Maybe we will!" he smiled happily. So cool. Ohhh, how could Margo think a Kraken was in the water?? That would be DANGEROUS! At the question, Jay looked up. "No... my mum said we have to learn about the muggle world too and be able to fit in to both worlds because one day we might need it." Mhmm. "So she lets us watch TV and films and play football and stuff."

Nodding enthusiastically, Jay beamed. He wouldn't give up! NEVEEEERRRR. He was going to be super awesome with magic and be able to transfigure things like mum and dad did all the time! High five-ing Adi back, Jay bounced a little. He had done it!

"Oh? I like Christmas. I looooove cards though!" Mhmm. "Thankyouthankyouthankyou!" That was going to be AWESOME! He was going to have a full set in no time! Wheeee!

"Yeah, he plays loads of pranks and he does naughty stuff to see if he can have fun at the same time." He eyed his brother. "I always get into trouble with him." It was fun sometimes, but not all the time.

She nodded to him. "Do you guys just freeze it over with magic?" It was a question that had to be asked because it still was confusing her right now. Emmy already knew that answer to that one. She nodded to him. "Yeah, she's going to go home for the holidays." They didn't talk about it but Emmy had been getting letters from Aunt Raeanne and her little cousin Chase. Chase was so adorable. He couldn't right yet but he had given her and Cinna a lot of drawing and Emmylou had hung up every single one in her dorm.

Emmylou nodded. She understood the whole family wanted to be all together during the holidays. Emmy knew that her grandmother and grandfather Duchannes would want her to come and stay with them for the holidays but she still didn't know what she wanted to do. The sixth year gave her boyfriend a nod when he thanked her for the her sandwich. Emmylou closed her eyes when he licked the jelly off her face. "Gross!"

Beverly had noticed how tall he was, so she gave him and unimpressed look. "I would need a whole stock to catch up to you." She grinned at the hair tugging and lightly nudged him. "Got nothing on my hair, though." At least.

The Slytherin was trying to stop marveling at the tattoo, but it was just THERE. And...it was beautiful. "Bet it was. Did it hurt a lot?" At his next statement, she tore her eyes from his arm, listening intently. She knew the life of Durmstrang, her dad helped train her as if she were a student from there. "Four at once? That's a cowardly way to go." Because a confident witch/wizard would go about their duel one on one. Honor and all that.

And why was she feeling like kicking their butt? She didn't even know them and that happened ages ago. It was this badge. Ever since she's had it she's felt like...protecting people or something. Or maybe Jeremiah's Gryffindor-ness was rubbing off on her. Bah.

She couldn't help laugh. Challenging good looking Gryffindors. Hehe. Exactly that. "Besides that," she started, her cheeks tinting a bit again. "I've been interning at a dragon sanctuary my cousin runs." School stuff was boring, so on to the interesting stuffs.

Ilia was lost in her thoughts, meditating her predicaments and worries. The sound of feet on the grass nearby brought her back around to reality though and she looked up. Oh, it was Leah. The slightly older puff was a mutual friend of Henric, Adi, and herself. Though of course, she was sure that the boys knew her a little better. Still, she liked Leah and was about to smile at her. Leah ,however, bit her lip and turned away. She looked troubled and Freya frowned slightly.

Normally she would have let her be, but then she didn't have many friends.....especially not other girls. Being a little concerned, she stood up to see her. "Hey Leah. Is everything okay?" Hopefully she was just worried about a class or something.

Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana? That name was quite the mouthful, but Lux thought it was cute. As Henric gave her the okay, she began to pet the little toad. "Hello there. I think I'm going to call you Princess Diana if that's okay." Less work, and she didn't want to butcher the real name. Toads were actually kind of cute in a way.

As she continued to pet the toad, Lux shifted her gaze to Henric. He seemed rather shy and embarrassed. That was adorable. "No worries, I just don't usually have people hanging out under the benches I sit on." Amused, she laughed. At least he wasn't hurt, and that was the important thing. "I remember seeing you around classes. You're friends with Adi, right? How are you liking your Fourth Year so far?"

Kace chuckled at her question and shook his head. He thought it was adorable that he used magic. "Actually no, I just let nature take its course. See it is really cold in Kansas and it gets to like 20 degrees and that is enough to freeze over the lake." he shrugged. He was excited to go back. He heard Emmy saying she was going home for the holidays and he understood because he wanted to go home too. "Well you know I am gonna miss you very much but that means I will have time to shop for your perfect gift..." he grinned and boped her nose. She was gonna love what he had in store for her.

Onto the licking the jelly off of her face, he laughed loudly at her reaction and she was a typical girl. "You know I wouldn't have done that for just anyone." he grinned and was still laughing. "Well I mean now your face is a lot cleaner." he said on the bright side.

Element of surprise, riiiiiight, that's what it was. "Either that or you're just too Slytheriny to admit you're a pansy." Oooooop. Evie gave him a teasing grin, definitely, totally teasing, which she enjoyed to do to her friends. Him particularly because he made it rather easy...

If vampires took over the school? Evie was pretty sure there were about 5,000 security precautions that would prevent that, including the school's Board of Governors AND the Ministry of Magic. Plus, they had the protective wards around the school, so even if they tried to sneak in, they probably couldn't. Although, the thought of meeting a vampire was PRETTY cool to Evie. "Well, in the event that that happens," Evie said, tossing her hair over her shoulder, "feel free. But for now, good luck." She was pretty safe.

She laughed before he even finished his sentence. "I believe you, Caleb. What I don't believe is ninety-eight percent of what the aparecium says. I just wanted to see what you'd do if I pulled your hair." And what he did is got defensive and used his prefect power to compensate for something that wasn't even real. It was actually kind of cute. His Slytherinness was cute. "Besides, you'd have to be desperate to send Cutty to do your dirty work. He wouldn't do it without a price." A LARGE price. She knew that for a fact.

"Your mother is a brilliant woman,'' Adi observed out aloud. His own interest in the Muggle world was because apart from him and his mother, his entire family consisted of muggles. "Yeah! We've got some really cool shows and films! Action movies are the best, though. The ones with lots of Superheroes. Batman especially.'' Batman for the world, yo!

Adi laughed. It seemed James was a HUGEEE fans of all things cards. "I'll remember that.'' He would look for uncommon Christmas cards sometime and give it to him. Or maybe mail it. Yeah! That would be better since James was into Muggle things. "You're welcome!''

His eyes glinted. Torie minded him of himself. "He sounds like fun!'' Ehem. Really, Adi? Is THAT what you're going to tell James? You're supposed to be his Prefect for Merlin's sake. "I mean, I'll keep an eye on him and make sure he doesn't get you into anymore trouble.'' Adi was looking out for his Badger but at the same time scheming in his head, wondering if Torie had any good ideas for pranks.

"Oh." Was the only thing the sixth year could say about the weather in Kansas in the winter. She didn't know it got that cold there. Emmylou blinked at Kace. Did he think that she was going home for the holidays? No, she still wasn't sure yet but he asked about Cinna and what she was doing for the holidays. "I still don't know what I'm doing yet for the holidays but Cinna is going home." Emmylou knew how much Cinna missed her dad, Chase and Zoe. Mostly Chase probably because of his letters. She didn't know what to get Kace but she didn't know if she would be able to get him anything again this year for his birthday or for Christmas and even their anniversary.

"I know you wouldn't have." Emmylou blushed. "My face is always clean, I always wash my face and take a shower everyday." She had super oily hair so there wasn't much she could do about it besides taking a shower everyday.
