She was exploring, and would be whenever she could for the next several... days? weeks? forever? It was a big place. Evie had never been to ONE place that was this big. She still hadn't discovered much of the castle yet, but she wanted to be outside before it got too cold. For now it was slightly dreary and it was probably going to rain again soon, but she didn't mind. She was under cover of the roof of the wooden bridge. Which was good, because she hadn't really planned her outfit to work with rainy weather.

She walked along the bridge quietly and kept to herself, which was easy considering there weren't many others around. Halfway across, she stopped and leaned her arms on the rail to peer over the side. Quite a long way down, wasn't it?

Had it really been one year already? One year since Adi and AJ started dating? Time really did fly when you were having a good time and for the fifth year, the past year had been a great one.

Dressed in his usual style (which had also developed last year), Adi made his way to the Wooden Bridge, sporting a basket which the awesome House Elves had stashed something that was AJ's favourite. Well, multiple somethings. Hehe.

Adi paused at the exact spot where the duo had gotten together and he waited for his girlfriend to join him. Obviously this Bridge was his favourite place out on the Grounds.

One whole year had passed since AJ and Adi officially became a thing. It was weird to think about sometimes because AJ never pictured herself being tied down with a boy, but now that she was she was glad that she took the plunge. Being with Adi was the greatest thing since tacos sliced bread. The lion had fallen in love with the badger, and all was right in her little world.

AJ made her way down to the grounds to meet up with Adi. She had already gotten to see him more that she had over the summer, but she still didn't have her fill. Would she ever? The third year practically bounced all the way to the bridge. Their bridge.

Not too long into her walk she spotted her prefect. A huge smile played on her lips, and she ran the rest of the way to him. Her arms wrapped around him in a hug and she smiled up at him. "Hey you, looking good." Did he ever not, though?

Adi was watching out for AJ and pretty soon he saw her. The moment he did so, his face lit up with his signature grin but this one was just for her. He noted how happy and excited she seemed and he was glad he had something to do with that. AJ had the same effect on him. As she drew closer, Adi couldn't help but think she got more beautiful each time he saw her. She was sight his eyes would never get tired of looking at.

"Hi,'' the fifth year replied and hugged AJ back with one hand since the other was since clutching the basket. "Thanks. And so do you as usual.'' Adi kissed the top of her head. "I've got something you'll love,'' he continued, gesturing towards the basket. "Want to guess?"

Adi hadn't given a clue away as to what he had in there, not even when he had told her to meet him here at the Bridge. His girlfriend was in for a treat. Yep.

He was smiling, and she was smiling. Life didn't get much better than this. It was really something knowing that she was the reason for happiness. It was safe to say that she was on cloud nine. It was then that she noticed he was carrying a basket. Her eyes had been so focused on his face that she missed this little detail. Looking at it now she had no idea how she managed to do so.

Oh, a guessing game. It was something that she loved. Obviously it wasn't Adi because he was standing right in front of her. Ah, she knew what it was. "Chocolate." It didn't have to be frogs... chocolate anything would put a smile on this chick's face. Yup, that was it. He could tell her that she was right whenever he would like.

Her eyes darted from the basket to his face, and vice versa. The anticipation was killing her, and if there were actually some of those chocolate frogs in there then she would need to sink her teeth into them pronto.

Adi laughed when AJ gave the single word reply to his question. Of course. Chocolate. "I was expecting that answer, AJ.'' Yep, because he knew his girl that well. "Maybe,'' he said with a wink. "You'll see in just a bit.'' Actually, there was chocolatey goodness in there. Loads of Froggies from his stash in his trunk.

"Come on.'' Adi tugged AJ closer to the rail of the Bridge. It was so battered... and despite repairs, there was still a spot that would allow the couple to sit with their feet dangling off the edge. All they had to be careful about was falling off. But Adi didn't think that would be a problem

Now seated, he patted the spot next to him then held out the basket to her."The suspense is over now,'' he told her, smiling broadly.

It was a pretty nice day today Domino thought to her self as she walked down the pathway of the bridge. Even though she was a Slytherin, she was book smart. She marveled in awe a bit as she couldn't even imagine what it must have been like...she looked down and could imagine all the bodies that were lost because of the war that she read about...yes, they were evil and Voldemort's followers but...still. It was all fascinating to her. She watched curiously as a few students were conversing and walking the bridge too.

So... admittedly, this place was kind of cool. The castle was both intimidating and welcoming at the same time, in a weird way. Kody had decided to check out the grounds first. There was a lot, apparently, to check out outside the school and he wanted to do so before it got too cold. So here he was, his hands stuffed into the pockets of his trousers and his nose tucked into a scarf that was wrapped around his neck.

A familiar face caught his eye, and since Kody had said he'd catch up with her later when they were on the train, he went over to the girl. "Hey," He greeted, leaning his arms on the rail so that he was mimicking her position. "Evie, yeah?" Just making sure.

He leaned over more, looking down at the ground that was a ways below them. "This bridge is kind of sketchy, isn't it?"

It was getting a bit too crowded now for Domino's taste. She headed away from everyone to the black lake hoping she would be alone there.

She was still peering over the edge when she heard footsteps come up and slow down beside her. Evie looked up and saw the familiar face from the food trolley on the train. A smile appeared on her face. He even remembered her name. "Yeah. And... Ko....ody?" That sounded right... right? Right.

Evie looked down again, following his gaze. "Yeah, a bit." The wood was old and creaky, but she was sure it was magically reinforced. She would be surprised if it wasn't.

Nudging his arm gently with her elbow, she looked over at him again. "Are you exploring?" Because she was. And now that he was there, they could do it together. They had said they would on the train, after all.

Eden needed an OUTSIDE!break. She had been to the library for a bit but...she headed outside and...AH. AIR. FRESH OXYGEN. Her second(or third?) home! OUTSIDE. IN the wiiiiild....AAAHHOOOOO---

Well. Not Really. Plus, Eden would rather live amongst the SNAKES rather than WOLVES. She didn't know which was more dangerous. Hmph. At least she was licensed to handle snakes? And not wolves. She'd probably get eaten as a SNACK or something before long.

Speaking of snacks, Eden's stomach growled fieeeercely. She, for once, had no snacks with her. This was an issue. And she was already on the bridge. Sigh. But--she had brought--"AHA!" she found the bag of rocks she had picked up yesterday--and--she grabbed one, and leaaaaned over the railing, grinning broadly. For some reason, she had REALLY been wanting to do this. Right. Here we GO--

PLUNK.

She didn't hear it, but when the rock hit the treetops below, she imagined the sound. Hmph. This was interesting. She'd try to aim for certain spots next--but she would NOT throw one. NOPE. That would be mean if anyone accidentally got HIT or something.

Rollin', rollin', rollin'... Toby was rooooooooooooolling down the length of the bridge on his skateboard, picking up speed as he went. Even though this bridge was slightly crooked, and there were massive wide open gaps all along the side of it that any unsuspecting student could probably trip and go tumbling through, Toby LOVED to skate down it. It didn't seem dangerous to him, just fun, and, of course, he liked making little 'nyoom' noises as he went.

But then something caught his attention. Or someONE. Toby wasn't exactly a very observant person; things passed by his notice all the time. But one thing he was good at spotting was... FRIENDS. Even going at full speed down the bridge ('nyooooom'), Toby instantly recognised the blur of EDEN MCGEE... right as he nyoom'ed right past her. The Hufflepuff slowed down to a stop as soon as he could, flipped the board up to his hands, and turned back towards her.

"Eden, hey!" Toby called out as he headed towards her, y'know, in case she'd not noticed him flying past.

Then a memory suddenly popped into his head, one of him and Eden hanging out in the courtyard, when E had named Phillip the Skateboard, now held in Toby's hands. Toby felt a pang of guilt about that, particularly when he remembered Phillip's traumatic summer, but did his best to push those feels waaaaaaay way away and off the bridge and down into the abyss below. Friend time was happy time.

Eden pulled out another rock from the bag and examined it in her fingers. Rocks were kinda' interesting, right? Like--she was pretty sure not nearly as interesting as snakes, but...you know...still really cool and stuff! She was aboooout to drop this one off in another spot, aiming for a whole int he coverage of the trees. She'd give herself TEN POINTS for that. You know, if she made it.

Only she heard...something HORRIBLE--like--the worst sound ever--it was loud--and it sounded--

OHHHH!

Toby TEMPUS! Tobias! PHILLIP! Eden's eyes widened and she watched him pass her up--she gave him a quick wave. Merlin, the boy should be a bit more careful. If Toby died rigt now, she'd surely get the blame. WHY DIDN'T YOU STOP HIM, EDEN? And she'd go right to Askaban. And then she'd die because Askaban....Eden wouldn't LAST THERE, SURELY? "TOBY--" she called out--but he was comin' back this way.

Right. Merlin.

"How's it going? Please don't die--also--Hi Phillip!" she said, giving the skateboard a wave.

He was expecting that answer because besides her sisters, nobody knew her better than he did. AJ noticed the way he said it too. Did that mean there wasn't going to be any chocolate? Nah, this was Adi she was talking about. There would definitely be chocolate. "Is that a yes?" Just making sure here.

AJ followed AJ over closer to the rain. It was a good thing she wasn't afraid of heights, or just afraid in general. The bridge was looking kind of rough, but she didn't mind. The lion loved the bridge for obvious reasons.

Following suit, the third year took a seat next to her boyfriend. Oh, she was able to look inside now. She was not going to open it up and ransack it. Nope, she was going to be a lady or ladyish. AJ opened the top and saw her favorite food and drinks. She was now beaming from ear to ear. "Oh, Adi. This is perfect." Shall she start setting everything out?

"You know it, AJ.'' Adi smiled. How could the two not have chocolate? It was their thing. It was a silly made up story about Chocolate Frogs that made them become friends in the first place. Chocolate was good in more ways than one. Hehe.

"Not afraid of falling off, are you?" Adi teased. She wasn't, he was sure of that. It was exactly the way she was sitting last year when he found her after she had been all distant from him, anyway.

The Hufflepuff confidently watched his girlfriend survey the basket's contents. Annnnd... there it was. AJ's big grin. Success! "I'm glad you think so. See, I even got your favourite stuff in the tacos.'' Yup... there was the sour cream, shredded cheese and hot sauce included. Adi knew AJ that well. Listening and watching her habits had paid off.

Yessss! She knew that it had to be true, but it was still nice to have that confirmation. Chocolate was serious business, okay? She could go for some of that chocolate right about now, but that could be said at any time when it came to her. "Good. I loooove chocolate." As did he.

Adi got a laugh out of her. "I'm terrified, Adi. Will you please hold my hand and make sure nothing bad happens to me?" Was she convincing? Cause she was totally pulling his leg, and she was sure he would catch on to that little fact. "You're not afraid, are ya?" She pushed him a little closer to the edge playfully. AJ would never let her man get hurt.

AJ looked up at him, and leaned over to hug him once more. "This is really great." He did get all of her favorites on there. "You made me the perfect taco." Boyfriends that paid attention to the little details were very rare, and AJ was glad that she got lucky with him. "How about we have some fun with these..." Did he get where she was going with this?

"Not more than you love me though... right?" Adi questioned with one of his eyebrows raised. He already knew the answer though he had never asked it before. Somethings you just knew.

Adi playfully poked his girlfriend. "I know you're saying that to get me to hold your hand.'' He smirked. "But don't worry... here.'' He reached over with his left hand and intertwined his fingers with her right one. Now he laughed. "Yeah, I'm terrified." Cue the wink! "If I fall, you do too.'' Unless he let go of her hand.

Another hug! Adi liked hugs especially when they were from AJ. He hugged her back, squeezing her just for a moment. "I'm glad you think so. It wasn't hard to put together some of my girl's favourite stuff.'' Anything for AJ. "Thankfully the House elves had all the ingredients." Fun? The Hufflepuff knew exactly what the Gryffindor was talking about. "You're on! And you'll be loosing.'' Hehe.

A place to think...
That was a place where Savannah trying to find, she needed to be alone to clear her head and collect her thoughts, although there wasn't really a place to go around Hogwarts that wasn't busy. The lake was WAY to pack for her taste, she could barely hear herself think due to all the chattering that was going on around her. Don't get Savannah wrong, she loved being around people and meeting new friends, she just wanted some alone time, or someone who understood her. Savannah really didn't have that, she had Sophia who mother died when she was young, but other than that she didn't have anyone older than her to talk to. Now that she thought about it, she had now Kace and Adi now, but she was sure they were busy with their own lives.


Savannah's feet seem to have a mind of their own, her mind wondering as she strolled down the corridor of Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry. Snapping back into reality she seen that she was at the wooden bridge and looked at the few around her and sighed. "Better than nothing, and it's quiet! "Savannah thought to herself. Sitting on the bridge her feet danged over the edge as she went back in deep thoughts, she was wondering what her life would become now that her parents were divorce, she just couldn't handle it. It was a good thing she was going to be busy here at school, it kept her mind off of it, but it didn't help that her parents were sending two different letters when she was used to just one.


Savannah looked at the scenery before her and sighed to herself as she felt the wind rustled through her hair. Savannah didn't know how long she been sitting here, but she didn't care as long as she cleared her head. As tears came down her face, Savannah wanted to scream but she kept in so instead she picked up a pebble thst was on the wooden bridge and threw it angrily. Sobbing so hard her body was shaking she put her knees to her chest and cried.

Walking down the bridge with the feast still on his mind, Gregoire was rubbing the bruise that was still on his cheek. I deserved this. He thought. The memory kept replaying in his head: He went over to play matchmaker. Both Austin and Ophie were being stubborn. Austin and Gregoire started to yell at each other. The Prefect next to them, Gabe, silencio'd the boy. Then the outraged Slytherin charged at him, but got tackled to the ground by the Claw he was having a "lovely" conversation with. The Eagle's fist then made contact with Gregoire's face. Slipping out from underneath of him, Gregoire proceeded to then get ontop of the other boy, ready to punch him. Some people came over and immobulused the two of them. His own house Prefect, Beverly, came over and thankfully released him with the charm 'Finite'. That was basically the memory that kept running through his mind.

In his right hand, Gregoire was absent-mindlessly twirling a muggle pen between his index, middle, and ring finger. Finally making it down to the bridge, the Slytherin sat down on one side. Taking a deep breath, Gregoire smelled the fresh mountain air. The autumn wind blowing through the trees making them peacefully rustle. Out of his backpack, he pulled out a sketchbook. Looking around, Gregoire then went on to draw the landscape.

That was one of his favorite past-times. Drawing. The boy always loved to draw. In his room back at his house in London he had several pictures of Notre Dame by itself. Gregoire also drew the Seine, Le Louvre, the Eiffel Tower, and the Arc de Triumphe. That's what Gregoire mainly liked to draw or sketch. Landscapes. That's what he was best at. He liked to capture every detail of architecture. The Frenchie was decent at drawing people and animals, but he was best when it came to drawing landscapes.

Kace made his way to the wooden bridge. He got a letter from Savannah asking to meet her here. As he walked down to the bridge and noticed how uncrowded it was, he felt at peace here. No wonder Savannah suggested it. Then he heard crying....no wait....sobbing? He turned and furrowed his brows trying to find the source of the sound. He turned to his left and noticed it was a girl crying. Not just any girl it was Savannah!

The puffer frowned and went over and sat down next to her. He didn't know if she wanted hugs or anything but he wasn't gonna ask if she was okay because obviously she wasn't. His common sense was used this time. "Hey Savannah it will be okay.." he comforted her.

Was she a little nervous to be on the bridge?

Yes.

But was she frightened of heights?

Only sometimes. Especially when what might happen if the bridge were to say... collapse.... while she was on it. Not to say that the bridge was about to do that anytime soon. It just... crossed her mind sometimes.

Arms crossed along the bannister, forehead resting on her arms, she temporarily ignored the rest of the world. The air was a musty due to the rain that had stopped only recently, but the coolness and the smells after the rain were enough to let her drift off to sleep, which she was currently fighting.

A soft sigh escaped her lips but she didn't move. The only big of her that moved were her thoughts.

Cilla decided to take a walk to do some thinking and to also explore the castle. The bridge seemed like a good location. As Cilla walked along, her eyes fell upon a Ravenclaw prefect looking rather lost in thought. Cilla walked up to her.

"'Ello there. Are you okay?" she said with a concerned tone.

Ollie had decided that instead of wandering around the school, as nearly every one else was doing it seemed, he would head out to the grounds and see what exactly there was to do there. He had heard about the lake, and he knew about quidditch and knew to stay away from the whomping willow, but he figured there had to be more than that around here, right?

With his backpack on (only Hogwarts, A History, some parchment, a quill, and ink in it), he made his way down the wooden bridge happily, glad to be on his own and not entirely terrified of getting lost. He figured he could meet up with Timmy later, but now it was just HIS time. Or so he thought.

After getting about halfway down the bridge, he saw someone, an older boy, sitting there and he was wearing Slytherin robes. Ollie's immediate thought was possibly bothering this boy in hopes of becoming his friend, but the closer he got, the boy began to look more and more familiar. It wasn't until he was right next to him that Oliver was able to see that the boy was none other than Gregoire! COOL!!

Quietly sitting down right next to him, he blinked at Greg's bruised cheek and couldn't figure out whether he was supposed to start with a hello or just automatically ask what had happened to him...

After a few seconds of quick thinking, he finally said, "Uh...hey, Gregoire?" There was obviously some concern in his voice. Hopefully the Slytherin didn't get upset with him for distracting his drawing.

Toby, a very alive and well and SAFE TOTALLY SAFE TOBY, simply laughed.

"Me? Die? Never," he replied, holding up Phillip to wave right back at Eden. He reached where she was standing and grinned at her, before setting Phillip down and hoisting himself up to sit on the ledge that ran along the side of the bridge. A veeeery slightly puzzled look crossed his features momentarily as he looked down at the bag she was holding and then back at her face. "What're you up to?" Toby asked, his smile edging closer shark grin status (except totally not, because you sort of had to look more threatening to have a shark grin, and that was a look that Toby would likely never achieve, even if he wanted to.)

(Which he totally didn't.)
