Bright and sunny was the time of morning. The arena looked especially nice with the windows opened all the way, allowing the warm air and rays of light to fill the area. There was no need for an extra cloak or jumper here. The usual purple mats were situated in rows in the middle of the arena, alongside their respective small desks that could pass off as stools. Professor Romanos was currently sitting upon her own burgundy mat in the front as a small mechanical bird with long wire legs sprinted around her with no signs of stopping. Come in! Have a seat! Enjoy the sun.

Oh, how we drift away from our friends. And the ones back home play remember when
Samantha entered the arena and greeted Professor Romanos with a smile and a, "Good morning, Professor!" She found herself a mat and promptly sat down on it.

Jasmine made it to defense Against the Dark Arts class on time, thank goodness. She noticed hat class was pretty full, so she headed for an empty yoga mat. Seeing several of her friends, she gave them a wave along with a general "Hello everyone". Thornton got a special wink because she'd be keeping an eye on him.
"Hello Professor Romanos", Jasmine said when she saw her. It was a beautiful day and Jasmine was happy to be warm in the classroom again. Taking a seat, she tried to do a little subtle stretching. She just had to wait for class to begin.

Ah yeeeees. Defense Against the Dark Arts. It was one of those subjects that he actually gets. DADA was starting to become like second skin to him. Ethan was relieved that today’s lesson was actually going to be held in the usual room…with freaking WINDOWS. Last term’s lesson was just…suffocating, but the activity made up for the missing fenestration.
Anyway.
Ethan entered the room, and was about to greet the professor when he saw Lex discussing with Romanos. Oookay. Now something was definitely up. The prefect assumed that the Head Girl was being bossy and stuff because Professor Glendower had asked them to make an entrance. Ethan considered her to be in character back in their HoM class, but today was for DADA. No ‘make an entrance’ required. Not wanting to disrupt whatever it is that they are talking about, Ethan waved at the professor to get her attention, and gave her a polite nod. He then eyed Lex, as he plopped down next to…Zander.
The Slytherin clapped the Gryffindor’s back, and made himself comfortable in his mat. “What’s up with your prefect? She’s acting strange lately.” Ethan whispered to the boy as he prepared his parchment and self inking quill.

Defense Against the Dark Arts was a class where normally Soph liked to sit somewhere near both Tobes and Mo, but with no Mo... she wasn't sure it'd feel the same. She considered this the whole way to the classroom, how the absence of Mo would feel like the end of the world and how yoga mats would undoubtedly make her think of him the entire time, and as she stepped into the classroom, she couldn't help but sigh.
Yes, the yoga mats were still a thing. Romanos was doing her thing as always, but the temperature and general ambiance of the room were especially welcoming today - Sophie instinctively gravitated toward the mats nearest the windows, wanting to be as close to the fresh air and sunlight as possible, and was not the least bit surprised to see Tobes as close to the windows as he could possibly be, too.
However, Soph's thoughts had turned sad and missing Mo, and Tobes looked like he already had a little friend with him, so... not a recipe for sitting with him today. Instead, she stayed as far toward the back of the classroom as she could near the windows and chose a mat all by her lonesome.
Since she was significantly far away from Romanos, Sophie didn't voice her hello - instead, she gave the woman a wave accompanied by the warmest smile in greeting she could manage. Hi, professor. Hi. Totally happy to be there without Marcus Branxton. Totally okay. Nothing to worry about. She wasn't going to cry, nope.

Hopefully, this wasn't going to be one of those classes where everyone had to be all super happy and fake through the whole thing. Because Heather didn't think she could sit through another one. The fact that there were no cups or signs in view was a good sign, as were the yoga mats. Kind of hard to be fakely positive and happy when you were all zen-ed out.
"Hello, professor," she greeted, plopping down on a mat. And obviously the head girl was still going with the whole.......whatever that was. This was going to be interesting.....

♡ A heart full of Love l ☾ A night bright as Day l
The third year cautiously made her way into the classroom, keeping her blue eyes focused on the ground below her. 'Watch your step...Watch your step..' She might have seemed a bit strange looking the way she did, but because of her really embarrassing tumble in History of Magic, Josie certainly didn't want to take that chance of making a fool of herself once again.
Feeling less stressed once she was inside of the classroom, she let out a sigh of relief before averting her eyes away from the floor & focused on Professor Romanos sitting on her mat with a mechanical bird sprinting about her. She made sure not to get too close to the Professor, in fear that the bird might attack her, but close enough where she could give a polite curtsy followed by a soft, "G-Good Morning Professor...I-I..um..I like your..bird.." She gave a small smile before turning on her heels which was when her blue eyes had settled on a particular Slytherin, sitting next to a particular Gryffindor she recognized. Ethan & Zander were these two familiar faces, which made her feel a little better to see people she knew.
Without even thinking about it, she walked to the empty mat beside Ethan & carefully plopped down before turning her direction towards the older boys. "H-Hi Ethan..H-Hi Zander...I-Is it alright if I sit by you?" If it wasn't there were still plenty of other mats she could possibly sit on, she wouldn't be upset nor offended at all.

Had Lex dyed her hair or something?
Marigold walked into class holding her things under her arm, eyeing the head girl suspiciously. Very suspiciously. WHAT. She was asking Romanos to give her her chair or something? Weird. "Hi professor," she said in passing, before finding a seat separate from people she knew so she could focus. Oh yes. Marigold was going to ACE her OWLs.

...Well, maybe a little bit upset...
Ethan wondered once more where his Watson had gone. Did he know that today was going to be Defense? He looked to his left and saw a couple of his Slytherin buddies: Grayson, Cayleb, Cutty, Brooklyn…and that first year whose aim was as deadly as the Death Star, but no Simon. Shaking his head, he turned to his right to see…
Oh well hello there Josie.
The prefect saw her approach in slow motion, and the boy watched as his beautiful girl pal sit beside him. Oh my Merlin. Did she…will she…? Ethan took a deep breath, and released it slowly to prevent himself from flailing in excitement. Can she sit with them though? “You can sit beside me forever if you want to!” the boy thought as he scooted to make more room for Josie. He was sure that Zander won’t mind. “Of course!” He said grinning from ear to ear, as Josie chose the spot next to him.
OH YEEESSS! Best day everrrrr.

Smirking at the memory, Grayson made his way down towards the arena where the class was going to be held. The warmth was welcomed, even embraced by the fifth year as he stepped into the arena. "Hey Professor!" he called, waving at her, "Greece was nice." Dude had some questions, actually. Questions about said field trip and what had happened towards the end of it but he'd leave that for now.
Instead, he headed right over towards that mat over there which had a ray of light shining on it. It took a lot from him to not spread himself out and lay back on his elbows, like he would if he was at the beach and trying to soak up the sun. Shame that they were in a classroom and social etiquette was a thing. A stupid thing but a thing. He did, however, pull out his writing equipment and placed it onto the small desk near him.
Enjoy the sun? Well, you don't need to tell him twice.
Transfixed on Sonya running in never ending circles around her, she very much happily turned her attention to the first student to enter the arena. "Good morning." she smiled, nodding her head a little. "It vos. I did hope you all enjoyed your time there."
And not been traumatized and all that. Ahem.

"Hello Professor!" Hello mechanical bird. Maddie wondered if Romanos was against live pets for a reason. Perhaps she wasn't good at keeping them alive what with her busy schedule. Perhaps.
Spotting Grayson, the brunette smirked. He'd be entertaining enough and maybe she'd get to hex him if the class went in that direction. Here's hoping. Maddie strolled right on over to the boy, purposely blocking his light while she dropped her bag. She then flopped down on the mat beside him and got comfy. "Snake." Hello.
"Gooood morning, Miss Cooper!" she perkily greeted, doing nothing to stop the bird from running around. And around. And around. Sooner or later it would be stopped, for fear that a motion sickness should arise if someone stared too long.

There was another young Ravenclaw girl there too, but Caleb wasn't about to try and talk to HER, being young and all. And also a Ravenclaw.
Did they have the first student to arrive to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed? Hmm?
"Good morning." she nodded kindly, not paying too much mind on body language.

"How Goes It, Professor"
Uh, he was early. Way too many seats to choose from. Or mats in this class. Why mats. Where they going to wrestle or something. So he took a seat staring at the purple mat.
Before she could question Caleb on his summer, one of their new first years had arrived. "Hello... Mister Barrington." A name she was curious to know about, if he had any relation to Nigel Barrington. Oh, what the fuzzy slipper, might as well ask. "Any relation to a Nigel Barrington by any chance?"

Gazing through the door a wave of relief over came him when he realized that he wasn't late at all. He was early. YEAH! "HI PROFESSOR! Bodie! Grayson!!" Dante got a wave too! "Greetings greetings, yes, I have arrived. Hold all applause til the very end." It was simply tedious having to present herself in a modest fashion so often.
She sauntered gracefully to the front of the room, to where the woman she assumed to be in charge sat. "You, my dear, happen to be in my seat." If one was going to rule, they needed the seat of power and to get that, one must unseat the previous sitter. This didn't take a lot of thinking.

Eyebrows raised a little before Medea slowly broke out into a grin. Was this a new higher found confidence Alexa found from the Head Girl badge? Or the new hair color? "Oh, forgive me, I had no idea. Watching the two Valentine siblings, she resisted showing any signs of surprise or confusion or... well, befuddlement mostly. Mental? Really? "Good morning." she nodded to the small group, not really thinking about saying anything more. As long as they didn't raise voices...

The mats were certainly still there. "Good day, Professor," he greeted, acknowledging her presence as he walked further inside. Following AJ and Angel since they were headed towards his best friend anyway, he took a seat on the mat beside Adi.

The only people she really knew that were already there were Hady and Dante, and sort of Grayson the prefect stealer. After Astronomy, anyway, but she’d never spoken to him. Therefore he didn’t count yet, and she made her way over to a mat near Hady. “Good morning professor,” she said to the woman at the front, taking a seat instead of curtsying, and eyeing the hooded figure up reprimanding the professor about taking her seat. That wasn’t very royal, even if she was acting like it was. Besides, there wasn’t a throne anywhere, just all these mats. It was just weird.

"Hello Professor Romanos", Jasmine said when she saw her. It was a beautiful day and Jasmine was happy to be warm in the classroom again. Taking a seat, she tried to do a little subtle stretching. She just had to wait for class to begin.
Alas! She was beginning to question whether the other prefects were going to show up or not. It was the first defense against the dark arts lesson of the term! They had to give a good example to the young ones and all.
"Good morning, Miss Guidry." she warmly greeted and smiled.

Two in a row.
Goodness, they weren't still waking up were they? It wasn't thaaat early!
Or perhaps Medea was just used to getting up so early, but nevertheless, that didn't make her opinion of simple waves and nods as greetings any less enjoyable. They were just as lovely when it came to voiced greetings.
Though she did give her own finger wiggle!wave to Ethan and Sophie.

"Hello, professor," she greeted, plopping down on a mat. And obviously the head girl was still going with the whole.......whatever that was. This was going to be interesting.....
They certainly had plenty of fourth years at Hogwarts this year didn't they?
"Good morning." she smiled towards the Gryffindor.

"H-Hi Ethan..H-Hi Zander...I-Is it alright if I sit by you?" If it wasn't there were still plenty of other mats she could possibly sit on, she wouldn't be upset nor offended at all.
...Well, maybe a little bit upset...
Taking note of the time, which seemed rather frequently now that she actually had a watch that she would never lose again (unless the charms wore off ahem), she looked up to a rather timid girl. Oh dear, it wasn't new school jitters was it?
"Good morning." she smiled warmly, taking just a quick peak at Sonya still running in circles. "Vhy thank...you." Off the girl went. No matter! If she was making friends with Ethan and Zander, all was fine.

"Hi professor," she said in passing, before finding a seat separate from people she knew so she could focus. Oh yes. Marigold was going to ACE her OWLs.
Four down, four to go! Prefects that is.
"Good day, Miss McAlistor." she nodded to the fifth year, taking a moment to stretch her back.
This was ridiculous. Angel was having a complete melt down over being "hot" and AJ was left to pick up the pieces. Poor Benny had to be confused as all heck about what was going on. Then again, the Valentine sisters have been known to be crazy so for all he knows, this was just another day in the life of the Valentine's. Next time though, AJ would wait until after the pair left to come to classes.
They were walking just fine, and once they arrived at the entrance of the classroom Angel flipped. "Stop it," she called back to her identical sister. "You can't not come to class just because you're mental." Benny should have been the one to bring Angel in, but he was too sweet to drag her, and AJ had absolutely no problem doing just that.
Holding on to her sister's arm, she drug her into the classroom. If Benny wanted to grab her other arm that would be great. "Hello professor." Nothing to see here... just helping a sista out! Her eyes landed on Adi, and she drug Angel that direction. "Hey," she said as she plopped herself down on a purple mat beside the boyfriend, which made Angel plop down beside her as well. "Don't ask," she said to Adi.
Angel just didn't want to go to class... seriously she wanted to go back to bed and just stay there for the next millennium. "I am not mental..." Angel looked at her sister. "And I'm not coming to cla..................." Angel started before she was being dragged inside.
Okay so she was going to class and was being dragged by her sister towards Adi. Seriously couldn't she have sat away from him for the one lesson.. once her sister sat down and forced her to sit with her because she hadn't let go of her hand she just stared at the front of the class looking at the door.
Angel then shifted onto her own mat next to her sister because well she couldn't share a mat with her sister. She just hoped that this lesson wouldn't take long. She wanted to get to sleep and forget about this day.
Tapping her fingers upon her knees, she continued to pay no mind to Sonya and instead focused primarily on greetings. "Good morning." she smiled and nodded once towards Cutty, taking note of the lotus position. She had not forgotten about their conversation from the term previously. "How vos your summer, Mister Mordaunt?"
"M'dad came over for a visit." He smiled and said. And that was a strange feeling, because he could've said that he'd learned some magic over the summer or he made some money or connections at the summer program. Maybe he valued his father afterall and wanted him around like any young boy. Even the semblance of normalcy in a two parent household meant something. He too had not forgotten their conversation and he had been able to take confidence in not being a cold one, but after the incident with Kyroh Scabior he wasn't sure if that ruled out anything else. "I heard you went to Greece, Professor." Maybe she'd talk a bit about that in the lesson.

Encourage all the creativity!
Although this sudden awkwardness from the boy was... oh my. "Good morning, Mister Adair." she spoke softly, though her normal warm smile was in place. "I hope you had a vonderful summer. Anything special happen?"
Ahem. Was he shifting from foot to foot? No. Pft. Ahem. Yeah no he was acting totally normal. That wasn't sweat forming on his forehead. Just, uh... He was uh... Yeah. Anyways. Totally normal here nothing wrong. AND THEN THERE SHE WENT WITH THE "V" THING AGAIN. That was most definitely chort behavior. He had it listed in his notes-- which he DIDN'T throw away by the way. Simon and Ethan weren't the only investigators around here. He still had his theories too, okay? Not like he was going to let it get out this time. He'd be secretive. Only keeping an eye on her to make sure.
Flamsteed was off the radar for now, but Romanos he'd have to be careful about. Especially after that yearbook superlative. It couldn't be a coincidence. His was just a joke. That's what Sophie said. But hers, hers was different. This was the real deal. "I uh-- Special?" Like discovering her true identity as a Cold One? No. Not yet. "I-uh-I bought some chocolate frogs... Do you want one?" Was it even legal to feed a Cold One? Not implying that she was one, but it was still possible.
SPOILER!!: Ahem, third wheeling over here don't mind us; Ethan and Josie!

He was sure that Zander won’t mind. “Of course!” He said grinning from ear to ear, as Josie chose the spot next to him.
OH YEEESSS! Best day everrrrr.
The Gryffindor was too distracted by all his sudden Cold One thoughts to really pay attention to everyone's entrances today. He basically went a whole summer without thinking about them, so it was about time that the wheels started turning again. It wasn't until he spotted Ethan, that he began to smile. At least he had a friend for the lesson. Was the Slytherin boy going to start smelling things again today? Because that was a thing last term. It happened. Definitely happened. Just as he went to greet the boy... Prefect? Scanning the room for Lex, he-- Ah. She definitely was not hard to spot. "Uh... I actually don't really know?" Merlin, he was right. She was acting strange. And not just Lex strange, like REALLY strange?
But he'd give her the benefit of the doubt because maybe this Headgirl stuff was stressing her out or something? Uh. "Maybe she uh.. Had a bad run in with Kevin or something?" Kevin always seemed to put her in a bad mood. Or vice versa. It was kind of hard being on good terms with both of them, when the two despised each other. Ahem, was he staring? Quickly turning his attention back to Ethan, he finally took notice of the "Prefect?" badge. Woah. "That's awesome, mate. Congratulations!" Merlin, they should all get together and celebrate! Though, Simon probably already threw a party or something knowing him.
And then, before Zander could go on to say anything more, Ethan's eyes must've grown to the size of golf balls... And he looked like he was staring off into space or something because-- Huh? At the sound of his name, the Gryffindor turned around to face none other than Josie! Oh, he hadn't seen her in a really long time. "Uh, hi Josie," he smiled. Didn't bother answering the question though because Ethan most certainly took care of that. And he thought Lex was acting strange?

Layla couldn't help but admit that the name of today's lesson had intrigued her. The 'dark arts' sounded mysterious and a little baffling at first. She hoped as a fifteen year old living in Muggle London that it would not be possible for her to come across any form of dark wizard but then again she had heard lots of stories about what happened at this school. Clearly they didn't know how to protect their students, sometimes she wandered how exactly they were still open.
Moving on..
The Ravenclaw entered and sent a small smile over at the Professor. She didn't do greetings as she didn't actually know the staff yet but she didn't ignore them completely. Smiles she felt were sufficient enough.
She chose a seat in no particular place and folded her arms on the desk before her. There was nothing special much about the classroom and there was nothing to draw her attention to. Instead she watched the door waiting to see if anyone she knew came in. Probably, but whether they were people she wanted to see was a completely different story.

Though it's confusing vhy my name is on this one then." Reaching forward, she lifted back the front of her mat to show her last name engraved on the fabric. Har har har.
Chuckling softly, she leaned forward a little and spoke quietly, "Don't let the badge go to your head, Miss Cambridge."[/FONT]
She could feel a headache coming on. "I will curse the very next person to call me 'Cambridge'--or this 'Lex', whatever the bloody hell that is." Was it even a word? Where did these people get their insults?? It was quite the headache inducer. How did they NOT know who she was?????
With an impatient sigh, she reached down and with a well inked quill wrote in tall, cursive letters the name 'MALEFICENT' then a small line beneath it 'Mistress of All Evil'. "Would you look at that? It appears as if the mat now has my name and I don't fancy sharing it with the likes of you, Peasant. If you'll be kind enough, remove yourself or you'll find even your great grandchild cursed to the spinning wheel."
How thoughtful of her to give this commoner the chance to run. She had best take it, the Dark Queen wouldn't be waiting forever.

Ian waited as long as he could. He reluctantly made his way to the arena. He greeted the professor, found the first empty mat and sat in it, looking at no one else. He had determined after his discussion with his head of house he couldn't avoid going to classes the whole term.
As he sat on the mat, he was grateful to experience something beside the cold darkness of the corners he had stuck to. He stretched out his legs and then bent his body over his legs and reached out to stretch his back and leg muscles.
So...Eden was interested in this class because they didn't offer this class at Durmstrang. It was like...a WEIRD and NEW subject. She smiled as she slipped inside, though. The arena, right? WOW it was bright. She enjoyed it, though. Being outside was the BEST. She found an empty cushion next to a very quiet-looking boy--Ian. He seemed nice, though, so no harm in sitting here.
"Hi, I'm Eden--hope you don't mind--" she said quickly, and she winked and smiled over at the professor.
Right.
You had to say HI to them, here. "Good afternoon, professor--" she said with a wave and a smiiiiile. Today she was in such a good mood. And not feeling that shy--maybe she was getting used to this school? She sure hoped so. Hehe. She wiggled her bum a bit on the cushion and got all comfy. This was a LOVELY environment to learn, at least for Eden.

Ian was enjoying the feel of his muscles extending. One of the things he'd learned from his mum was the importance of loosening his body before 'strenuous' activities. She even stretched before gardening. He felt his body and mind relax a bit as he did so. He began to ponder what the rest of the term would be like. After his talk with Headley and letter from his mum, he didn't feel more confident, but he did feel determined to continue.
As he released his feet and started sitting up, he noticed a person sitting next to him. She introduced herself and asked if he minded. He shook his head no and said, I'm Ian. S'okay with me if you want to sit there. He laid back, felt his back against the mat and extended his arms over his head, joined his hands together and closed his eyes briefly as he enjoyed the warmth of the sunlight on his face. It made him think of the days this summer where the sun shone as the sea water splashed over the bow and hit him in the face. Good times. He also thought how nice it was to see people face to face again. He'd just be more careful with how he treated them.
Let your light shine || Be the sun || You're important. Always.
Running in, out of breath, Chance scanned the classroom for a place to sit. Spotting one beside a fifth year Ravenclaw, (LOTTIEPOT) Chance scrambled toward it and sat down. He grinned at the Ravvie before looking around the class for anyone familiar. He loved this class, though it didnt come naturally to him. But, this was one class that Chance would work at.
"Hey Im Chance Coeur." Chance said to the Ravvie, sitting beside him. He smiled at her again.

"Zdrasti." she greeted, switching into the lotus position. And now keeping an eye on the fifth year. Oh? With a small grin, she spoke softly, "Don't fall asleep, Mister Lecium."
Or fear the wrath of doing jumping jacks during the lesson.
Kace gave the professor a quizzical look and didn't know what language she was speaking. He smiled and nodded politely towards her. He was just about to fall asleep when he jerked himself awake and heard her warning. "Don't worry I won't" he assured her sleepily and did some yoga poses to wake up. He began stretching and did some back stretches and he heard some crack crack crack noises. Hey at least he was doing something other than sleeping.

Honestly, Dec was far from being okay with morning classes, but he's supposes he has some sort of bond with Professor Romanos. She was the first teacher he met when he first started and they did share near-death experiences for two summers in a row. So, yeah. He could spare some mornings for her.
"Good morning, Professor Romanos." Dec greeted, plopping on a mat near no one in particular. He noticed that Lex was still acting weird in this class too. More like, bullying. She was trying to get the professor to move off her own mat! Joke's getting old, Cambridge, joke's getting old.

Simon made his way into the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom a little later than most of his mates. He'd gotten caught up on the stairs and had finally made it. As soon as he saw Professor Romanos, he couldn't help but think of Zander's preposterous theory about her being a Cold One. He coughed a little underneath his arm in order to avoid letting out a snicker. Heh.
As he went further into the room, he went over to Professor Romanos to say hello. "Hello Professor! How was your summer?" he asked with a wide grin. After doing so, he headed over towards Zander, Ethan, and Josie. "Hey guys!" he said to Zander and Ethan before turning to Josie and then asking. "Hey Josie. How was your summer?" Then the boy took a seat on the other side of Zander and nudged his mate. "Quickly! Someone grab the popcorn," he whispered with an evil smirk. Simon was sure that Ethan was going to turn as red as Zander's robes.
He waited patiently for the interaction between Josie and Ethan; however, he was distracted by Miss Head Girl pronouncing that she was Maleficent. He smirked for a second, thinking it was all an act. "Sheesh. She's really keen on getting into character." After a while, he pulled out his notebook and started making notes. Yes, don't mind him, just keeping an eye on the crazy Head Girl.

Mmhmmm special. Such as family get-togethers or hanging with friends or...
Chocolate frogs. She supposed those were special too. Had their own individual witch or wizard cards within them and all. "Oh, no thank you, Mister Adair. How generous of you." Her goal of lessening sugar from her life could very well be at a loss with that chocolate frog.

Checking the time again (just because she COULD), Medea looked up just in time to see Layla's wave. With a smile, she returned the wave with a little finger!wiggle wave of her own to the fifth year.

Her smile was going, going, going, going...and goooone when Alexa's quill met her mat. Although she wasn't so fond of the language that was being used either. Craning her neck, she had to twist her body a little too to read what was actually being written though. Mal...ef...icent. Maleficent? That sounded familiar. Mistress of all...

"I..." SHE. What!? Peasant? Curse her...great grandchild? "...beg your pardon? Miss Cambridge..." Ahem! Sitting up straight, her toes curled in her boots as she stared somewhat sternly at the seventh year. She would keep her composer, but good Merlin, even if it were a joke, Alexa was Head Girl and there were quite a number of youngsters in earshot of everything. "That is enough. You may take your seat. Vith the rest of your classmates."
Norah's droopiness was expelled suddenly when a seventh year started screaming. Ahem, it was far too early in the morning for that. But wait...wasn't that the head girl? Lexie or Lex or something? Jeez, she was taking that badge seriously. She opened her mouth to say something along the lines of hush-you're-blowing-out-my-eardrums, but closed it quickly when the girl started calling the professor a peasant and calling herself Maleficent. Wasn't that some kind of evil queen from muggle stories? Wellllll that was getting weird. The second year scoot bag to the very back of her mat to get away from all the crazy.
Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite

"I..." SHE. What!? Her own smile grew as the woman's faded. Was she finally being taken seriously? It was about time. She was beginning to think everyone in this forsaken crumble of a castle was daft but ah not so, not judging by the loss of a smile. She had gotten the point she was trying to make.
Or not.
Maleficent gave an exasperated sigh, tired of these peasants and everything they represented in this new life she'd found inside this girl. "They are no classmates of mine, I will not be brought down to such levels and I must say I'm disappointed. Does 'Maleficent' sound so close to 'Cambridge' that the mistake is repeated?--Nevermind it all, who knows where those boots have been, I simply can't sit there anymore." She summoned a mat and placed it dead next to the woman's.
They would NOT be ruling together but this was somewhat more agreeable.

Walking into the room Gregoire immediately noticed something rather odd about the peculiar classroom- Change that thought. Two things extremely off about it, and the one was rather odd. First of all there were mats...what seemed to be erm...what's the word he was looking for. Yoger mats? Yogurt mats? No, yogurt was a delicious and nutritious snack you'd usually eat for breakfast and/or lunch. Which also came in a variety of many different flavors. Hmmm. This would annoy Gregoire to the point of no return until he could figure out what this word was. Grrrr. Yogat? No, but he was getting closer! He had that gut feeling he was extremely close...almost is as if he was only one letter off!
Aha!
It hit him like a train traveling at the speed of light! They were yoga mats! Finally! It took Gregoire like a bazillion million years for him to finally get it correct. Now for the second thing in this room that was off. The bird...what was with this thing? This bird went in circles. And circles. And circles. Around the professor. How odd. His eyes just kept on following it. The circling bird was hypnotizing to him. It took all of Gregoire's willpower to take his eyes off the bird. Afterwards it made him dizzy and lose his balance nearly collapsing in the front of the room. That would've been embarrassing. Gregoire thought to himself being that he was in front of all these students.
Regaining his balance he looked at the professor and said "Bonjour professeur! My name is Gregoire." His French accent extremely heavy. If it weren't obvious enough how much he spoke the language, his accent made it completely clear that he came from the heart of it all. The place where everybody wanted to be in France. Paris! Ohh how much he missed home! And Beauxbatons! And his girlfriend! Giovanni! The very thought of her just made him more depressed and homesick! They only met last school year, and literally Gregoire had to move six month after they got together. Sigh.
Looking around the room for an empty mat, Gregoire spotted on behind his house prefect, Ethan. His new recent friend he had just met in Potions class needed some extreme lessons in French. The accent was all wrong, the words sounded a bit like a mess...it was a disaster zone for that boy. Good thing Gregoire was an excellent teacher. Also judging by the way he spoke to him in French during potions, it sounded like he fancied someone. Walking towards the mat in the back of Ethan he said "So who do you amour? Whoops! Je meant to dire en anglais 'love'."(say in English) Upon sitting down on his mat, Gregoire flicked his wrist a little for speaking in French to a non-fluent-French speaker.

okay now Bay was sure something was going on with Alexa… who is the "Maleficent" person.. starring at her he moved over to Professor Romanos and whispered to her "Professor, I think somethings wrong with Alexa" he said carefully not letting this Alexa/Maleficent person hear him. He was really surprised that no one hasn't gone up to her and shake her. Truth be told he has been watching her while she's been in the common room, in the hallway, eating.. okay so yes he's been stalking her. Sad but true he was really worried about her.
"she was fine when she was on the train" he whispered to Professor Romanos again.
