History:

Hecate was born on leap day in a poor pureblood family. Her family can date their lineage back to Gunhilda of Gorsemoor, but as generations went by the fortune that came with being a pureblood was no longer associated with them. She was the third child of nine children, an eldest brother, then one older sister, herself, two younger sisters, triplet brothers and a brothers after that.

Both her father (Lucien Sr.) and mother (Nerys) neglected her, so Hecate grew up knowing she couldn't depend on anyone but herself... she vowed to succeed in everything she did. In school she was top of her class, prefect and head girl. She began Wizarding University, at the Edinburgh, Scotland campus, and she cut all connection with her family when she met Professor Gavin Grey and became his live-in apprentice. At university she had the highest grades and she was named most likely to succeed.

After she graduated, she went to work for her former professor and Scottish potioneer named Gavin Grey. He was 20 years her senior but the two worked long hours late together and soon fell in love. They had a winter wedding. All their friends were of the same mind. They were the perfect couple. Unfortunately their marriage ended after two and a half years of marriage when Gavin's died in an exploding cauldron incident. The potioneer lab was left to Hecate.

A few months later Hecate was given a near to impossible request for a potion to cure a man by the name of Terrance Tralkey who was dying of a rare malady. Hecate worked hard day and night for months and was able to finally brew a successful potion to save the man's life. Terrance Tralkey and Hecate spent so much time together that they fell in love, and even though he proposed many times, she didn't accept for a year or so. Unfortunately, Terrance developed a side effect to her cure and while Hecate continued to work to reverse the side effect, he died suddenly, leaving her an undisclosed fortune.

This is when the press had a field day. Hecate was successful in creating the potion to reverse the side effect, a year too late. She needed to get away from the press so she quit her job, and left the lab in Scotland to travel to Sydney Australia where she stayed for nearly two years..

On her plane ride back to Scotland, because Australia was too bright, too hot and too filled with arachnids, Hecate sat next to a man who began chatting her up. Libatius Lavery, an auror with the ministry of magic, had just been released from a muggle prison where he'd been wrongfully imprisoned, and was returning to London. By the time they landed, Libatius proposed to Hecate. She told him never to speak to her again. Libatius didn't give up, with his resources found out where she lived and send roses upon roses every day, with love notes and candy. After a few years of wooing she allowed him into her heart and soon after they married. Hecate continued to make all sorts of potions, while Libatius worked for the ministry... but one cold November day Hecate was visited by his superiors and informed her husband had been killed in the line of duty by a female death eater that they could not identify.

This is when the press dubbed her The Black Widow, ironic because of her (and her typists) fear of arachnids. Hecate closed herself in her lab and dove head first into her work. She has made progress in many potions fields, not only limiting herself to healing, but also cosmetic and gastronomical. Finally, because her money had run out (potion ingredients aren't cheap,) Hecate applied to Hogwarts for the Potions job, which she currently holds.

2071-72
Hecate, in the attempt to test a burning unction, set three students ablaze, without causing physical pain. Three prefects attempted to stop her, but she placed them in detention. The Headmaster would not support her decision so she quit. Suddenly and without warning, parents of students complained to the Governors of the school. They, in turn, told the Head Master that Hecate was asked to return, not only as Potion's Mistress but as Slytherin Head of House as well.

2072-73
Hecate's had been under the impression that Sage Dodson, Herbology Professor, had been sweet on her, and in order to get her hands on free and limitless ingredients in the greenhouse. She played along... She'd also developed a friendship with Alexia Carlton, Charms professor, and to her dismay the two developed a close friendship... So close, in fact, the potions mistress took offense. Carlton was a friend and betrayed her, and Sage thought he could toy with her emotions... Well... inflicting revenge, she now won't need to see either of them at Hogwarts again.

2073-74
Hecate's Hogwarts Quidditch Captain came to meet her and patched things up with her after not speaking to each other since she was 17 and he 18. While their relationship became more serious, at school Hecate became closer to certain students and not to others. Her connections to the cult brought her gifts of expensive, rare and sometimes illegal ingredients. A club was started to create potions for Muggles.

2074-75
The year started out well for Hecate Lafay. Maybe because her love life was going so well. Unfortunately due to a fire, which was later discovered to be a diversion for the theft of potion ingredients, all her stock burned up. Thanks to the donation of students, some families of students and the generosity of the Minister of Magic, Lord Berty Borr, she was able to replenish her stock. More privately, her boyfriend's ex-wife showed her face and is now trying to start problems. So her great mood is now not so good. Slytherin won the Gobstones cup, the Quidditch cup and the House cup.

2075-76
Hecate Lafay began the term single again. Not because she was dumped. Hecate Lafay would never be dumped. Because she felt she was caring too much for her boyfriend and his daughter. Classes got harder. She was crueler and the students felt the pain she was going through. Catching Slytherins leaning a non approved picnic on the grounds, she was told how Hufflepuff seemed to want to hinder Slytherin from Winning the house cup again. She spoke to Hadley, the Hufflepuff Head of House and was not impressed with the woman's responses. During Christmas break, her now ex-boyfriend's wife mysteriously disappeared. Was Lafay involved? Who knows. But shortly after that she made amends with her boyfriend, and he proposed. Back at Hogwarts Slytherin was doing well in all their quidditch matches. Hufflepuff lost, and one of their team members pushed her seeker, and head girl off her broom. Hecate was furious, and demanded the Head of House do SOMETHING. When she declined, she pulled Vindictus in for an impartial judgment, and although he seemingly sided with her side, he did nothing to punish the offending player. She'd remember that. Again for the second time in a row, her snakes won the Gobstones cup, the Quidditch cup and the House cup.

2076-77
Hecate Lafay agreed to marry her boyfriend Alexander Greingoth over the summer, and they set the date for Christmas Day. She asked they not tell anyone. The only ones invited to the wedding was their old chum Ian Amoroso and his insufferable wife, Alexander's twin Alexandra and his daughter Sierra, who was surprised by the nuptials as well. Along with marrying the man, she adopted the girl. During the year she 'befriended' Dash, the HoM professor. She seems to loathe the Hufflepuff head of house whom she believes cheated to have her house win all three cups.

2077-78
Hecate Lafay seemed less curt than usual. Maybe married life was suiting her more and more. Unfortunately the term didn't go very well as the potions mistress seemed tired and under the weather for the later half of the term. Slytherin was up for the championship game, and although they played well, Ravenclaw played better. She was on her way back to her office when she saw one of her Snakes punch a Claw, and another break a school broom. She stood back and allowed the Quidditch Official, Ravenclaw Head of House and Deputy Headmaster, Max Vindictus, to deduct points from both her charges. She didn't like however how he simply overlooked his own student forcing a kiss on the Ravenclaw captain. Hecate had had issues with this particular student's love life. She attempted to punish him, but was quickly outranked by the Deputy Headmaster. Returning to her office she was livid. So livid that as she was yelling at her boys, her illness flared up and a foul gray ooze came seeping from her eyes before she fainted and was taken to the hospital wing. At the feast the nurse spoke to Sierra and after consulting with St. Mungos, they determined the Potions Mistress has an as-of-yet-incurable disease called Acute Infericosis that is caught from having come in contact with an infected Inferi. (A wizard who died from an infectious disease and who was then turned into an Inferi.) This disease doesn't allow potions to work... so because she had this disease her night terrors returned, which caused her to be tired during the year, and she is now with child. To save her unborn child, she did what werewolf females do, and found a surrogate.

2078-79
Knowing her life was quickly coming to an end Hecate made peace with herself. Her stepdaughter, Anna had found a way to slow down the effects of the rotting. The new Headmistress seemed not to not like her, but Hecate just shrugged it off. The board of Governors also made it clear they'd be reviewing her employment. Her daughter was born Christmas Eve and she named her Ariadne. As time went Hecate kept getting worse. Finally an experimental potion was created in Africa, and Hecate made her way to Africa, to either be cured... or die. She survived the potion, and the disease, but not without side effects...

2079-80
Hecate returned to the school that year after having been "terminally" ill, miraculously cured, but altered: A streak of gray hair and one hazy gray eye now marred her looks. But she was back to her old self again... mean as a harpy. For the auction, she brewed a liquid luck potion that earned a school the most.

2080-81
Hecate didn't have a very productive year, other than supporting her daughter Sierra. She had noticed people becoming happier and happier, and after a certain detention, she realized that the happiness was due to some tainted ice cream the student and staff were consuming. She quickly taught a lesson in which she created an antidote that counteracted the ice cream.

PERSONALITY

Katrina is just one of the normal witches you'd know. She likes winning, but who doesn't like being victorious anyway? She is a total fan of magical games, but she loves Quidditch above all of them. She plays Quidditch for her house team, which makes her rather sporty. Katrina also has high hopes and aspirations, and would like to be able to achieve them in some point in her life. Despite being a Quidditch player, she does have some issues when it comes to getting dirty. At first, it was no big deal to her but as she grew up Katrina started to be really conscious of her appearance. She believes a lot in making first impressions and how it could last a lifetime, so she makes sure that she gets things done right. Katrina is also friendly and is very protective of her friends and fellow Slytherins. She can be a bit flirty (something that came when she started her fifth year) but that rarely shows as she sees boys as her equals and just friends. If you're worthy and lucky even, you might just end up in Katrina's hotlist. Although she is a Pureblood and a Slytherin, she respects everyone from different walks of life and blood statuses. HISTORY
Pre-Hogwarts

Just like any other pureblood witch or wizard, Katrina was raised knowing that she could do magic. Because she was born to the world of witches and wizards, Katrina knew that sooner when she turned eleven that she would attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry to learn the things she needed to know in order to become a better witch. When she was a year and four months old, her brother Alexander was brought to the world. At the young age of three, Katrina was already able to show signs of magic like burning things when she was furious and, in worst cases, blowing up home appliances without meaning to. She'd often change her hair colour when she was young defining her mood. Katrina also learned how to fly a broom when she was five. Her father was the main influence for her love of Quidditch, taking her to different matches whenever they had time. Jordan was her rock and source of strength back in the day because for some unknown reason, her mother Clarissa did not bother to even lay her eyes on her daughter. It was only until Katrina was eight when Clarissa started to care for her child, making up for the years she neglected her duties and responsibilities as a mother. On her eleventh birthday, Katrina received her Hogwarts letter a few hours after she woke up. She was really excited about finally getting to attend Hogwarts like her parents and sister that she slept with her letter that night. Her mother took her shopping for supplies and her uniform on August that year.

First Year
Term 29; September 2075 to June 2076

Katrina, just like every other Hogwarts student, rode the Hogwarts Express on their way to the school. On the express, she met her first ever Hogwarts friend, Beatrice Castell. As the term progressed, Katrina got to meet even more students and became acquaintances with a fair number of them, like Erin Heyman and Elise Fairfield who soon became Katrina's best friend. Her parents had bet on which house Katrina would be sorted into: Jordan for Ravenclaw and Clarissa for Slytherin. To her mother's pleasure, Katrina was sorted into Slytherin House. The term was really crazy, considering that the Kitchens were closed and her sister had been telling her stories since she was a little girl that the house elves liked to, bake cookies and stuff. Katrina grew fond of duelling and some of the classes while she was in Hogwarts. She participated in the "Around the World in a Hogwarts Day" event, which was something she really enjoyed. There wasn't much that happened in her first year, but what she found out by the end of term feast was that the Kitchen was only closed because there was a new baby elf. Cute, right?

Second Year
Term 30; September 2076 to June 2077

Minutes before the Hogwarts Express left, Katrina went to get some food at the Western Concourse only to find out that her friend, Erin Heyman, was hiding from her Aunt behind some of the shelves. She was able to witness this and then soon the pair began talking and complimenting each other about their hair. Afterwards, they both boarded the Hogwarts Express. A few weeks progressed through the term, but Katrina wasn't feeling well. Probably it was something she ate back then? Hogwarts sent her home due to this sickness, fearing that the poor little second year would infect the other students. Katrina stayed at home for the rest of the term trying to recover from her sickness while she caught up with the lessons through a private tutor.

Third Year
Term 31; September 2077 to June 2078

After recovering from the sickness she acquired last term, Katrina expected herself to return to Hogwarts. She spent her summer in France with her cousins Savannah and Gweneth. The third year found out that she would be spending her third year of magical education inside the boundaries of Beauxbatons Academy. Although it was something worth looking forward to, Katrina started to miss the company of her Hogwarts friends and professors. She finished her third year in Beauxbatons and, in time, she started to become homesick. Thinking that it was best for both Katrina and their family, Jordan and Clarissa talked about it and brought them back to their old home in London. Katrina's Aunt Melanie had bought her supplies for her upcoming fourth year, which she would be spending again in Hogwarts finally.

Fourth Year
Term 32; September 2078 to June 2079

Two terms away from Hogwarts was a long break for Katrina. She was really excited to finally be able to come back home. This term, she found the guts to try out for Quidditch. She did, and got into the Starting Roster. Katrina was able to make friends with the Slytherin Quidditch Team and later on extended to most of Slytherin House and finally reached to the other houses at Hogwarts. During the term, Katrina played a total of three different Quidditch positions (chaser for Slytherin vs. Gryffindor, beater for Slytherin vs. Ravenclaw, and keeper for the scrimmage match again Gryffindor) before settling with playing Keeper for the rest of her Hogwarts years. The term consisted of a new Headmistress who had a major love for pink, and who lost her precious brooch. Katrina was also one of the victims during the Great Lockout of 2079, when she fell on her bum after an invisible force threw all the Hogwarts students out of their common rooms before they all assembled in the Great Hall. She, too, was one of the many volunteers for search parties and without anyone knowing, they all found the spirit Isfret in the library. You know what that meant? Yes, a destroyed library and almost-eaten Ravenclaw Quidditch Captains. In this term, Katrina developed feelings for her fellow Slytherin teammate West Odessa. It took her until the End of Term feast to finally admit it to him, which made it awkward for the fourth year whenever he was around her. Lots of pea shooting and butt-squishing happened and finally, it was goodbye.

Fifth Year
Term 33; September 2079 to June 2080

During the summer before her fifth year, Katrina met up with her friends. She visited Beezus's house, which was an unexpected visit for the Ravenclaw. She was also able to meet up with West at the Three Broomsticks, since he had sent her an owl. It was unexpected while during their conversation, they started mentioning about kissing. Later on, they actually shared a kiss. It was awkward, but it was one thing Katrina wouldn't dare forget as it was her first kiss. The thing between her and West did not interfere with Quidditch tryouts (she got the position of Keeper) and practices. Once West started dating Bliss, the fifth year found it best that she moved on and she successfully did. Another thing she did not see in the cards was another boy who was lucky enough to have grabbed her attention. Prior to the match against Ravenclaw, Clement Belrose told Katrina that if they won he would give her a surprise. And surprise it was. Slytherin won the match and when Katrina came back to the common room, she had Clement's lips on hers. Starting that day the fifth year had feelings for him, but later denied and dropped them since she made OWLs her top priority. Oh, the effects of #BodyByDylan on people. This term too revolved around the Hogwarts Board of Governors, which was something Katrina wasn't interested about. It was to her dismay when she saw candidates in almost every single class she attended. By election time, Katrina did vote and hoped for the best of the candidates she voted for.

Sixth Year
Term 34; September 2080 to June 2081

Her sixth year was, in general, a huge surprise. Katrina had never expected that she would take Sierra's place as Slytherin's female prefect after Sierra’s graduation. At first Katrina didn't believe it and felt like she wouldn't really be as great of a leader as Sierra was, but all she wanted was to make sure Slytherin was alright and that victory was in their favour. When the term started, she tried her best to be welcoming to the newly-sorted Slytherins. It was a tough and tiring job, but that was all good. Lots of weird things happened in Hogwarts that year, first with the Welcoming Feast when the whole castle was awfully dirty and the food wasn't as delicious as it used to be. It became even worse when they found out that there were turnstiles in almost every place in Hogwarts and the common rooms were as messy as everything else. It definitely wasn't the best way to greet the new school year and her prefect duties were all put to the test. Making it three years in a row, Katrina signed up for the Quidditch tryouts and got in the Slytherin team as Keeper once again. This term, Katrina had admitted her oh-so-deep feelings for Cle and the two began dating on March 2081 until now. Slytherin won the Quidditch Cup just in time for their captain Dylan Montmorency's final year in Hogwarts. During the End of Term feast, the sixth year bid her goodbyes to the graduating students. They found out that the turnstiles would all be taken away the following term and Katrina is so relieved about it. Indeed, the term ended with a big bang.

Theodore has grown a lot since his first year, and is still growing. From what used to be a skinny little thing, he has now bulked out and gained a fair amount of muscle. He says it's his quidditch physique. Theo has short dark brown hair with bright blue eyes. He has absolutely NO sense of fashion so you'll probably see him wandering around in his best friend's clothing... like all the time.

History

Theodore was born in London in 2066, to two muggles by the names of Jonathan and Emma Kinsley. He had always been an incredibly quiet, but stroppy child, and he certainly knew how to make a big fuss over nothing. He had been known as a drama queen from a very young age, always crying the place down if he ever got told off, and nothing has really changed now. Theo has an older sister called Kathryn, she is twenty-one years old and she picks on Theo. A lot, so he doesn't like her much. He also has a twin brother, (non-identical) called Casper. His brother is not a wizard like Theo, but a muggle. It has estranged their close relationship quite severely.

His father is a businessman, and is the manager of a dental company in their hometown. He works A LOT, so Theo rarely spent any father-son time with him, so naturally, he is closer to his mum. When Theodore got his Hogwarts letter, the parents were mortified and refused to believe it was true. It took a few letters to convince them, and they eventually accepted it. Theo certainly appreciates the opportunity!

Personality

Anyone who knows Theodore will know that he is a very typical Slytherin student, and is a BOY. He is competitive in Quidditch/house points, self-centered and in some cases, and a bit of a wimp. His defining feature is that he is extremely grumpy, and the only way he feels he can get out of a bad situation, is to cry. Not that he's doing it for attention, but he is just generally an emotional person. He is not a big fan of people, and he struggles to make new friends. Not that it really bothers him, because he happens to have the best friends out there and doesn't think he needs any more.

Theodore hates physical contact of any form, but has loosened up on this around SOME people. IE - his girlfriend and West. Anyone other than that can have a fistbump and a nod. He is a nice boy when you get to know him, and he takes a lot of pride in what he does.

SPOILER!!: Theo's years in detail

FIRST YEAR:
Theodore kicked off his first year of Hogwarts by peeing himself in the start of term feast. Yes, he was subtle about it, don't worry. He almost lost house points for throwing chocolate frogs at Mika , but he got away with it. Probably because he has such a cute face, you know? He jumped head first into classes, and has established that Charms is his best lesson and Herbology is his worst, so far. He hasn't got LOADS of friends, but his main ones are Blue Gracae and West Odessa . Got a lil trio going on there. Along with his besties, Theodore made the Quidditch team despite his long battle with riding a broomstick. He got it in the end, though. Late November and early December, Theo fell ill with a bad of the flu. He had to miss his first Quidditch game cos of it! It took a lot of energy out of the boy, but he did manage an epic snow ball fight as the weather thickened. He is now in a long term BATTLE with a gang of girls, to win various fights. The next one was a pillow/hair flipping fight, during which Mordred cast a hair growing spell upon Theodore, and his NOSE HAIRS grew.... so he flipped them.

Early March, Theo was preparing for his FIRST EVER Quidditch match, against Ravenclaw. He was scared, and it showed. He didn't score at all, but he made a good few passes and still managed to not get hit by a bludger! In his eyes, that was a success, event though Slytherin did lose. The NEXT match, was completely opposite. Instead of avoiding bludgers, he got hit by two of them. One by his arch nemesis, Oakey Gunter, and the other by one his BESTIES, Ella Bishop . Theo broke his arm, and got badly winded, but Slytherin still managed to win the match! Late May, the Quidditch Championship against Slytherin was to occur. Theo was terrified, because he had been lame at Quidditch ALL term. Whilst West swooped the first part of the match and scored an awesome SIX goals, Theo finally caught up and scored a further three. Slytherin lost the match, but Theo is HAPPY that he can happily try out next term, knowing he was somewhat good in his first year.

Theo was excited to leave Hogwarts for the term, because unlike everyone else, he realized that it was STILL school despite all the magicalness. It was still boring. Though, he knows he'll miss Quidditch loads over the summer.

SECOND YEAR:
Before second year had even begun, Theodore had already gotten himself into trouble. During a brief visit to the joke shop in Diagon Alley, he decided to harass a random girl to get her to drink some love potion. He didn't WANT a girlfriend or anything, he was just curious on how it worked. And he was hoping it would make her love her as a FRIEND or something, cos he was slowly losing his.... But it backfired, and Theo ended up with his first kiss. Unlucky, cos Theo wanted his first kiss to be with his wife when he was thirty. Oh well, it was something to brag about. Boarding the train, finally, Theo fell ill due to some dodgy sausages that his mum gave him for breakfast. The scary girl that had kissed him in Diagon Alley had followed him to the feast, getting everyone into heaps of trouble. Professor Scabior ended up putting a silencing charm on a bunch of the snakes, Theo included, but he didn't mind much.

The first thing Theo did once he was back, was sign up for Quidditch. He's pretty cocky that he'll make the team no problem again. He actually attended pretty much 99% of all the tryouts, and the practice had done him WONDERS. Come early November, the rosters were posted and Theodore had made it as Chaser again. He was over the moon that the same team from last term were still constructed, along with some newbies. Classes were going well during Theo's second year, and he'd even joined the Herbology Task Force, of which the first task was to create something plant-like and give it to someone to make their day. Theodore ended up making a daisy chain, which he left on the doorstep of Professor Bellaire's office.

The first Quidditch game was against Gryffindor, and Theo was as cocky as ever that they'd win. Maybe a little TOO cocky. It went well at first, and overall, he scored three times for Slytherin. However, their seeker was on form that day and caught the snitch three times. Just as the game was about to end, one of the beaters sent a bludger HARD towards Theo, causing him to fly off his broomstick and right into the stands. He almost died. After a traumatic experience in the hospital wing, Theo was soon up and ready for the next Quidditch match against Ravenclaw. And this one was important, because they needed REVENGE. Theo scored a respectable two goals, making him the highest scoring Chaser of the term so far! Though, they did not win the match, Theo still loves his team.

Since the Slytherin team got booted out of the championship, Theo was a little.... unenthusiastic with a lot of school related stuff, and was becoming more focused on his personal life. He soon developed a small crush on one his besties, Ella Bishop. Unfortunately, Ella already had a boyfriend, a stinking Ravenclaw, so Theo is kinda moping about. He is also about to embark on puberty.......

THIRD YEAR
Over the summer, Theodore had spent a lot of time with his best friend, West, where they went camping and also attended an awesome Quidditch match. It only boosted his love for the sport to a whole new level. Another happening in his summer involved Ella coming round his house for dinner and to meet his family. It was then when he declared his undying love for her, which of course, meant he was knocked back and heartbroken. From then on, all of his attention went on Quidditch and classes. Which was convenient because he soon made the team for the third term in a row!

Slytherin lost the first game against Hufflepuff, all Alec Summers' fault, but Theodore still made the top of the leader chaser board, with his best friend shortly behind. Of course. The next game was a complete turn around, and Slytherin WON against RAVENCLAW, their main rivals. It was a great day, Theodore was very excited.

As for his love life, things had developed in an unlikely way, involving a Ravenclaw called Isidora. She was good friends with West, and he had kinda set her up with Theo, for experimental kissing sessions. Despite being extremely nervous, Theo carried on kissing her for a ton of weeks and he eventually was completely over Ella. The end of the year was a good one for Theo, and pretty much everyone in Slytherin. They won the next match against Gryffindor, but just lost out to the cup to Hufflepuff. But that was okay for Theo, because they were still BACK. At the celebration tent, Theo spent it with Dora, who asked him to be her boyfriend. He said yes, of course! It was the perfect way to end a good year, even if the departure of his big sis Aurora was a HURTFUL one.

FOURTH YEAR
After growth spurting all through the summer, Theo came back to Hogwarts with a totally new look after cutting off his silly hair and getting some clothes that actually fitted him. Personality wise, he was much more grown up, too, ever since getting himself a girlfriend. The first thing Theo did was sign up for Quidditch, which he made again, obviously. No news there. But it seemed with all that going on, and being with Dora, that his friends took a backseat. Apart from West of course but he was more like family. Theo totally didn't notice any of this at the time, though. He was quite happy going on dates, and exploring the big wide world of being in a relationship. Which didn't ALWAYS go to plan since his girlfriend was extremely curious about everything.

By the end of the term, Slytherin had scored 600 points overall from matches, which bagged them the championship. Which was extra special since it was Dylan's last year at Hogwarts and as captain. But their final victory was cut short when a group of dementors attacked Theo and West on the pitch. Thankfully they had each other to cling hold of, otherwise Theo definitely wouldn't have made it. They were saved by Oakey's moose patronus, and Professor James' bear patronus. It was all a terrifying ordeal, one that Theo didn't think he'd get over any time soon. So when he got the GleeIceCream DISEASE, it was a much needed uplift.

He finished the term, earning the top chaser spot in Quidditch, and feeling extremely relieved to be going home. He was excited for next term, for reasons, but he couldn't wait to go home, too.

Personality:

Derry has chronic anxiety, and is pretty much nervous 98% of the time. She had a stutter when she was younger that still affects her when she’s in stressful situations. She is an avid reader and would probably prefer to spend time with her nose in a book than with other people (she’s slowly getting over this though.) The majority of Derry’s closest friends are guys, she finds them easier to get along with for some reason. This doesn’t mean she doesn’t get on with girls, it’s just that she’s never really understood half the stuff that girls are supposed to do or anything. In fact, getting along with anyone other than the animals in her farm and her parents has been a big step for her this term since she never bothered to make friends at muggle high school. She was bullied when she was younger, but instead of damaging her (though it did have a huge effect on her anxiety) it has made her pretty much resilient to most things people can throw at her. It’s when people are nice that her brain goes on override and tries to find what’s wrong with things.

Derry frequently forgets how to act around people and just voices her opinions without regards for other people’s feelings. It’s not that she doesn’t care about people, it’s that she forgets that people can hear her. She does have a line though, she’s able to filter her worst comments out by imagining what would happen to her if she actually said them out loud. Despite being quite a shy person, Derry is incredibly determined and will strive to be good at the things she loves... it’s just sometimes a pity that she doesn’t love her lessons that much.

History:

Derry’s mother is a muggle, her father a pureblood. Initially, she was brought up without magic, and when it finally began to show itself her parents were reluctant to send her away to school as they’re very protective. She is their only child, and they consider her a miracle since they were told they would be unable to have children. So her father taught her magic at home and she went to a muggle school two days a week before beginning Hogwarts in her fourth year.

Her family often struggle for money, her mother being a theoretical physicist with rare, sporadic funding and her father staying home to look after their farm and teach Derry. They live on a small farm in the hills, with horses and chickens, and Derry went to a small muggle high school in their town, not too far from Edinburgh.

Her father is a pureblood who was disowned after marrying a muggle, his family said they would have nothing to do with him. When it was decided that Derry would go to Hogwarts so that her father could go back to work - they need the money - her father’s family became interested in her once more, and provided money to buy her uniform and school supplies.

Term 34: September 2080 - June 2081

Derry joined Hogwarts when she was fourteen after three years of homeschooling because her parents could no longer afford to teach her at home and miss valuable work time on the farm. She was not impressed by the general state of Hogwarts that term, with the lack of good food and the dirty common room and the fact she had to pay for everything. Her family aren’t exactly rich, so she lived mainly by borrowing money from her friends - which was difficult at first, seeing as she didn’t have any.

After learning to fly the previous summer and loving it, Derry decided she might as well try out for the Quidditch team on a whim. She’d never been good at a sport before in her life, spending most of her time on the ground falling over and injuring herself, but she really loved flying so she figured “Why not?” She was really surprised when she actually made the team, and focused so hard on getting good at Quidditch that she neglected a lot of her studying and received harsh reprimands from her parents and warnings that if she didn’t study harder and get better grades next term then she wouldn’t be allowed to play Quidditch anymore.

On top of Quidditch and failing half her lessons, Derry managed to actually make friends. Quite a lot of friends. Which was definitely something she hadn’t expected. She even made herself a best friend, an unlikely best friend. Ascanius Stark. Not that they started off on a good foot, since Derry dislikes pet names and Ascanius insists on calling all girls ‘Gorgeous’ or ‘Beautiful.’ Eventually they got to actually having a conversation that didn’t revolve around her having a go at him for not using her name, and settled into friendship. Don’t be fooled though, when one of them gets annoyed with the other it’s like sibling rivalry amplified a million times.

He has worn his hair long since third year, and has seemingly started a bit of a trend as several other boys also rock the longer locks these days.

West Scanlan Odessa born 2nd February, 2066 in Ambleside, Cumbria in the UK to Leon Odessa and Wendy Banner (d.July 2 2068). Has one sister, Aspen Odessa , a former Ravenclaw. Started his first year at Hogwarts in September 2077 and sorted Slytherin, though he was a Hatstall. He became Quidditch Captain for Slytherin during his 5th year. During 5th year he was scouted for Quidditch and now represents England for the Under-17 team.

Personality ♛

West is popular and he makes friends easily. He possesses a prodigious intellect, but he's selective about what he chooses to apply said smarts to learning. His main interests are Quidditch and music. He's very creative, and happens to be a particularly talented artist. He has an eidetic memory, but this seems to be fading more and more over time, and more selective in how it actually works for him.

West is an extrovert and always found in the thick of things socially. He's recently developed a bit of a knack for party planning. West doesn't at all mind being the center of attention, but as he matures he is less and less likely to show off for the sake of it. He's usually confident, but never truly arrogant, partly in thanks to experiencing a bit of disappointment and some rather humbling circumstances: learning experiences, essentially. He has had some trouble in the past controlling his anger when he's frustrated, but gradually he is learning restraint.

Despite being social, having many friends, and comfortable with attention, West likes some alone time and often needs some space to regroup and recharge. This is when you may be more likely to find him in the library reading (usually non-fiction), or somewhere in the grounds running, sketching, or playing his guitar. His energy levels tend to run from one extreme to the other, either full on and bounding around, or quiet and moody and silent. The difference is usually whether or not he's had a chance to recharge or not.

West is extremely loyal, and expects that same loyalty in return. This sometimes sets him up for disappointment, but also means he's a loyal friend who always does his absolute best by his friends, for as long as that loyalty is returned. He hates liars, and doesn't lie himself though he can get away with it quite well if he needs to, he just refuses to do it out of principle.

+General appearance: Sophie pretty much took 50/50 of what each of her parent's appearances had to offer. In some ways, Sophie takes after her mother, who has dark, tan skin and dark hair typical of her Puerto Rican relatives. In other ways, though, Sophie's brown hair and somewhat tanned skin has been toned down thanks to her father's side of the family. She also has blue eyes, which is a trait she seems to share only with her twin brother, Caleb.

AN IN-DEPTH LOOK

HISTORY/ABOUT ME
Cale Newell and Anna Greingoth met during the 2065-2066 Hogwarts school year. Anna was a fourth year and Cale a fifth year. They were both named house prefect and eventually began dating. After Cale's graduation in 2068, the two became engaged, but they didn't get married until shortly after Anna's graduation a year later. Sophie and Caleb, twins, came along a year after that, and the family of two became a family of four. Life simply began to unfold after that, bringing the Newell family of four to where they are today...

My name is Sophie, which, as far as I know, is just a name my parents decided they liked. My middle name is Annabella, though, and that's a combination of my mother's first and middle names. I'm a Newell and a Greingoth, which is important to make clear, because the Greingoths are equally great in my opinion. I mean, my grandfather was the Minister of Magic, right? Right.

I have a twin brother, which isn't as amazing as some people think. I mean, he's great, don't get me wrong, but...people just think it's so amazing to realize that two different people were born on the exact same day at nearly the exact same time. Besides that, twins sort of run in my family. My Greingoth grandfather was a twin, my aunt is...somewhat a twin? Maybe. That's a whole new story there. Then there's Caleb and me. I haven't caught on the wonderment yet, but hey, who am I to complain when people think I'm great?

Anyway, I'm eleven years old and starting Hogwarts for the first time. Because, you know, that's what wizarding children do when they turn eleven-years-old. I'm not necessarily bursting with excitement, because this is a school, but I do think it'll be cool to do something besides sitting at home and being home-schooled all the time. Oh, and I have a grandmother that teaches Potions at Hogwarts, too. I haven't decided if that's a good thing or a bad thing yet. Aunt Sierra seems to love her, though, so I'm guessing it won't be too bad.

Erm, I'm not really sure what else to say. I don't even like writing, even when I'm writing about writing myself. I really do have better things to do. Bye now!

I'm super fond of Greatness, winning, being first, and being part of a really powerful family. Other than that, I'm just like any other eleven year old. I like ice cream, chocolate frogs, school holidays, and Quidditch. I'm actually not trying out for the house team, though, because I really just enjoy playing for fun on my own free time. I think I'm really going to enjoy Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, Defense Against the Dark Arts, Flying, Herbology, Potions, and Transfiguration. Not that I'm a bookworm, though.
But I do not care for Failure, losing, being last, having homework, waking up early, following a self-proclaimed leader, or coming back to school after a good, long holiday. I do like reading, but only if it's something I'm really interested in. Having said that, I hate reading school books, especially for classes I'm not interested in. What a bore! Oh, that'd be you, Ancient Runes, Arithmancy, Divination, and Muggle Studies! Who needs to know about the Muggles anyway? So says my mother's side of the family. They're purebloods and have never needed to know how to live like a Muggle.

+Becoming one of those really powerful and badged student leaders. I come from a long line of them, after all. Mom, Dad, Aunt Sierra, and my Greingoth grandparents were all house leaders. It just makes sense, doesn't it?

A few fears sometimes get in the way
+Losing. Nobody likes a loser, no matter what they say. Second place is just first place loser, and that doesn't even count.
+Flunking out of school and having to go to Muggle school. That can't happen, right? We're protected as wizarding kids, aren't we? I could accidentally expose our whole existence!
+The headmistress. My mom says that she once tried to steal my father away from her back when they were students at the school! Then, Aunt Sierra says that she never once did anything wrong to the woman, but she ended up hating her out of association alone! What is that anyway?!
+What if a wand never selects me? Or what if the sorting hat can't find a place for me? What happens then? I'll still be able to learn magic, right?

Yes, this character is yet another Greingoth. I'm so pleased to be able to play a family and build on them as time goes by here on SS. Sophie is the daughter of Cale Newell and Anna Greingoth-Newell. For those of you who weren't around SS in 2007 and a few years afterward, Anna was my very first SS charrie. She was a Gryffindor and ended up being house prefect and Head Girl. She was actually SS's first Head Girl. Cale was played by Lissy Longbottom and was a house prefect, as well. Cale and Anna started dating when Lissy and I played the characters during their school years, and they ended up marrying and having Sophie and Caleb sometime later. So Sophie is a next generation character who hasn't been 'magically aged' just so I can play her. She was actually born eleven years ago IC time, and I'm finally getting a chance to play her! She's also the granddaughter of a couple of other well-known characters, Alexander Greingoth II (the former Minister of Magic) and Hecate Lafay Greingoth (the current Potions Mistress and Slytherin Head of House). Finally, she's the niece of my most current school character, Sierra Greingoth, and also the niece of one of Lissy's most current school characters, Alex Greingoth.

We're the LB family. So of course our names start with an L and our surname with a B. My mum is Leonora Blackwell and my dad is Luther Blackwell. I was born on a sunny day, or that's what they say. I think my parents were just so blinded at the perfection they made. Anyway, I'm their only son and heir to the Blackwell fortune (no, I'm not sharing).

I was born and raised in Godric's Hollow, the same place my dad was born. My mum is a snake, but she loves my dad so much she followed him there and...well, she lives there too. (Got a problem? Deal with it.) My mum (if it wasn't evident enough) is a former Slytherin, class of 20-something; same as my dad, except he's a Gryffindor. Mum is an artist (she paints LOTS). My dad is a professor at some wizard university.

I was raised in a pretty cool home. My parents have a lot of rules and stuff, but I mostly ignore them and since they consider me adorable I get away with it most of the times. Like my mum, I enjoy painting. Unlike my dad, I don't like school. But he's cool 'cause he likes Quidditch and so do I. It's our thing.

MY EDUCATION ~~how boring~~...

I went to a small school outside of town and learned basic stuff, like math, reading and writing, wizard history, stuff like that, y'know. Then I got my Hogwarts letter!

MY PERSONALITY..?

I'm a cool guy. Don't mess with me and I won't mess with you. Give me food and we can be friends. Steal my food and you'll be on my Naughty List, and trust me, you don't want to be there. I like making friends as long as they're not creepy or cowards. My dad says cowards are no good, so they're no good. I like reading comics while eating popcorn, and I also like running outside and catching moths and other flying things.

DO I HAVE POSITIVE TRAITS?

'Course! I'm an artist like my mum. Granted I'm not like, top-notch or anything like that, but I really, really like painting. Also, my dad says I'm hard-headed. Not as in my head is hard as steel, but that I'm stubborn as in I don't give up easily. Oh! I'm a great runner! I was the fastest in my old school and it was awesome, like, I was cheetah fast! Additionally, I inherited my parents' good looks. I have my dad's blue eyes and winning smile, and Mum's dark curly hair and pale skin. You bunch that up and you get a Lucian Octavius Blackwell.

WEAKNESSES, FLAWS AND FEARS YOU SAY? ERM...

Well, everyone has them, right? According to Mum my stubbornness has a bad side to it as in I think I'm always right (I don't see how this is a problem). I tend to get distracted with small things, mostly colors (painter in the making, duh!) and with things that fly. Grandpa Hector (my Mum's dad) claims I talk a lot off topic. He's just silly if you ask me. Like him, I have temper issues. I get mad easily. I say it's a reflex, Mum says it's a problem. What-ever.

I guess my biggest downfall is that I care too much of what others say about me. I don't like critics. So there. Also, I'm terrified of disappointing Mum and Dad (don't tell them I said that). I want to make them real proud of me some day, so it's scary to think I won't. Other fears are: failing my lessons and being at the bottom of the food chain, getting lost and ending up in the Muggle world, and sharing my parents. There's no way that's ever happening.

MY LIKES?

I like ~~love~~ my mum -- she doesn't scold me as much as Dad. Her cooking (BEST COOK EVER!). I like anything that has sugar in it. Be it an ice mice or sugar quill, gimme. Bug hunting is also on the list. Quidditch. PAINTING. COLORS. Blank canvases and paint brushes. Green food. Not healthy food, but food that's died in green color. Hippogriffs. Converse shoes. Games. WINNING. FOOD. Naps. Home. Galleons. Cookies.

Let me start off with broccoli. Really, why does it even exist? I don't like ties, they're so proper. Fancy shoes. Dancing. Dry paint. Boring people. Losing. Sharing. Rules. Second place (any place that's not first, actually). Being scolded. Tattletales. Colors pink and yellow.

RELATIONSHIPS...OKAY...

Parents: I get along with both my parents, not like some cousins of mine that have major daddy or mummy issues. My mum is the B.E.S.T! Every morning she makes my favorite: green blueberry pancakes with bacon on the side and a glass of milk. She's tall and beautiful with dark green eyes just like her side of the family, the Jones – McCoy's, whatever they call themselves. She's just as dangerous and graceful as a snake, it's awesome! She's very clever and is usually the first one to know in what kind of mood I'm in. ~~She loves me a lot.~~

My dad is cool! He's a great flier and really brave, braver than Hercules. I want to be like him one day. On his days off he takes me on muggle car rides (he's got a thing for non-magical things) and we toast marshmallows on Sunday evenings with Mum. Even though he's a busy man what with his work from university he stills has time for me, and we always have these man-to-man talks. We're cool like that. ~~He loves me too.~~

Friends: Bridgette and Jerry, they're my best friends from back home. We went to school together, but now Bridge is going to Beauxbatons where she's going to become all prissy and pretty. Jerry is going to Durmstrang where he's going to become a cool barbarian. (I'm going to Hogwarts where I'll be pure awesomeness.) Troy...he's okay, I guess. We met at his sister's wedding and we snuck food under a table and ate all day.

Cassia is a nice girl with a high amount of curiosity. She likes meeting new people and knowing about them and their lives. She likes honesty and she always says what she feels which can't be good all the time. She believes that trust if the most important feature between friends. She loathes betrayal and selfishness. She can be annoying sometimes due to her curiosity. She is a passionate girl who gets excited and fascinated easily. Even by the simplest things she could get enthusiastic right away. Probably being a fervent girl is not good all the time because that would mean making big deals out of simple ones. She appreciates the simplest acts of kindness. She also trusts people blindly which worries her family. Because that would cause her pain if she had been stabbed in the back. Cassia is the is the oldest of two children in her family. She lives with her family in London where she was born. She was raised by both her mother and her grandmother. As her Father works in the ministry, in the International Magical Cooperation he tends to travel a lot. Which usually requires her mother travelling with him. And leaving both of the kids with their grandmother.

Cassia and her younger brother ,Mike are best friends. They spend all the time together, playing and singing. They discuss magic a lot. And the two kids always talked about how excited they were to get into Hogwarts. When Cassia was to go to Hogwarts, the two kids were saddened to be separated. And the more Cassia thought about the fun she'd have at the school the more she felt sad about leaving her brother behind.

The girl and her brother have lots of friends. Considering they, too, travel with their parents which allowed them to meet many people. However, their best friend is Liam, their nextdoor neighbor. The three spent lots of time together. Liam is older than Cassia by two years and he goes to another school, he is a wizard too!

Not only Cassia spends her time playing ad having fun with her companions . Her father is so concerned about giving his two children the knowledge he can provide at home. Especially Cassia as she being the eldest . The father is strict logical person who takes care of rational things.

While her mother is a passionate person. Who is responsible for moral issues and sensations. And surely not to forget Grandma Margret who is determined to change her granddaughter !As Cassia spends most of her time playing with Liam and Mike. Goofing around and most of all talking a lot! Her Grandmother never approves of this attitude . As she ,grandmother, justifies her disapproving that a lady doesn't babble nor does she laugh out loud. And that was exactly how Cassia is all the time.

Grandmother Margret always complains to her son, Cassia's father, about his girl attitude. Marcuse is convinced that she is still a child and she will grow to be as her Grandmother taught her to be. But no one knows whether his prediction is correct or not

Marcus Somerlad is Cassia's ideal. She always looks at her father as a perfect person. She admires his confidence and his ability to make people understand his opinions by speaking a few sentences.
He is a strict person yet understanding. He believes in rules and boundaries that ,in his opinion, can make everything legit. He believes that an organized person is a successful ,happy one. So whenever Cassia feels like she needs to discuss something logically she goes to her father who gets her through the matter easily and smoothly.
Though the father travels a lot ,he makes sure to make up his absence by spending time with his two kids when he isn't travelling.

Cassia probably has most of her mother's characteristics. For her mother is a passionate person who mainly operates under the impulse of her feelings and the swinging of her heart. Laura Somerlad is the person to sooth Cassia down just by holding her close. The mother is a fantastic listener who never gets bored of her talkative daughter.
However, the mother is a quiet person unlike the daughter. If Cassia is feeling down and depressed and doesn't feel like talking about it or discussing it she goes to her mother who easily makes her forget about it and brings her spirit up again.

Cassia and her brother
Mike is Cassia's best friend along with being her younger brother. The boy is three years younger than Cassia. And despite that fact Cassia rarely feels that gap of age. Probably because the brother is smarter. Unlike his sister, Mike resembles his father for being confident and calm. He and his sister don't share most of their characteristics as Cassia is talkative ,Mike talks briefly and when necessary. Cassia trusts people blindly on the other hand Mike has a hunch that rarely fails him.
And yet the two makes great and compatible siblings. However, they are not perfect. For like any brother and sister the two have fights and arguments. But never did any fight last for more than a day. Because after a couple of hours it'd be forgotten.

Cassia and her grandmother
Margret Anna Somerlad is a strict person. Who believes in discipline and none else. She takes it on her conscious to raise Cassia into being a classy sophisticated young lady. And here comes the problem as Cassia isn't that type of girl and is never going to be. But the grandmother never surrenderes. She keeps trying to change the girl's attitude and interests which is far than done. And that what causes the tense between the granddaughter and her grandmother.
Despite that, Cassia of course never loathes her grandmother. Neither does the older woman. It causes regular arguments ,their different personalities but they love each other no matter what.
Especially that the grandmother has so many interesting stories to tell from her long life and that fascinates Cassia.

Cassia and her owl
Cassia has a honey-colored owl. When Cassia went to the pet shop she was intending to buy a cat because the girl is very fond of cats. And she has two cats at her home. However, once in the shop she decided to buy an owl to experience having an owl. She had started to learn how to take care of this creature and she named the owl Snaty. Because he is a rude snappy creature. Snaty always screeches whenever Cassia touches him. And not to mention how many times Cassia got bitten when trying to feed him. She always wonders about her owl's attitude. Other owls seemed to be friendly with their owners at least.

◤◢ H O G W A R T S ◤◢

◤◢ First Year ◤◢
Cassia was excited about her first year at Hogwarts. Though she was sad that she was leaving her younger brother behind, she couldn't hide her excitement about going to Hogwarts and learning all the cool stuff she heard of.

In Hogwarts Cassia was the same girl at home curious excited and easily fascinated by the simplest things. She tried as best as she could to get to meet students and make friends. However, she was surprised by herself that she couldn't always take the first step. She had always thought that she was a mixer person, which she was but she wasn't that used to take the first step. And despite that fact she met quite many students whom she become good friends with.

However, at the end of the year Cassia was so thrilled about what she witnessed of the cool events that happened at Hogwarts. She had learned so many things. Like being a wizard or a witch isn't always a good thing. As a kid she always assumed that being a witch was very cool and great. Which was true! But she found out just like her father used to tell her that some people miss-used what they had.

So, the naïve excited girl who entered Hogwarts had changed a bit to become less naïve and a slightly more wise. However, she is still curious ,squeaky and a bit clueless at some points. But she had the same spirit and eagerness to know more and become a good witch…and to have fun and keep up with everything going on around school.

◤◢ Summer Before 2nd Year ◤◢
This summer was different than all the other summers in Cassia's life. The reason of course was that she was waiting for something to come. Though she had had lots of fun as usual with her brother and friends and most of all Liam, the girl still longed to return to Hogwarts. She longed for the castle ,for the common room and for her friends there.

And she felt that she had changed slightly and gained some wisdom and experience. She was determined to be a cool, friendly and good second year. How? She 'll have to figure it out somehow.
◤◢ Second Year ◤◢

Cassia's second year started out in a different way. For on the ride to the castle an unknown reason caused the train to break down and the students had to use portkeys to get to Hogsmeade station. Cassia's plans of being stronger and less childish were kind of ruined as she couldn't help not getting afraid when the lights went out and the train made a halt. Though afterwards she was able to contain her fears using the portkey and then getting into the carriages to get to Hogwarts. Another thing Cassia was excited about was the new headmistress. Cassia had encountered her on the train but it wasn't a very good first impression. She then hadn't known that this red-headed woman was the headmistress. The opening feast was quite different as Cassia wasn't among the firsties who were nervous about the sorting hat. She steadily walked to her house table and sat there with friends and met other ones too. The twelve-years also found classes different as she had an idea about the classrooms and professors. Though there were a couple of new ones.

She was also grateful for her father who had gave her a couple of books to read during the summer which helped her so much throughout the year. She had worked hard to be a good student. She wasn't an excellent student but she wasn't planning on that and didn't care much about it. She only cared not to be a bad student. Because it would be un-cool. In this year Cassia met many new friends and was glad about this fact. She was determined to be all social and was trying to figure how that could be achieved. Though the creepy awkward event that took place at the castle somehow helped her. Like being locked out of the common rooms and having to sleep in the great hall. Such situations always made students stick together and spend more time together discussing and analyzing. Although ,Cassia wasn't so good at it she had thoughts and ideas. Some of them were a bit childish but she believed in them. And of course everything raised her curiosity and made her eager to know more. The second-year was also content that she had interacted with house-elves and ghosts this year. Well, she wasn't really glad about the ghosts part because they seemed to be responsible of most of what was going on. And so she and Theo decided to figure this out and investigate. They had become the Slytherin secret spies. And intended to accomplish missions and stuff because they were cool. And capable of doing so.

And when Cassia thought that everything was going back to normal, two professors got eaten by a plant. Of course Cassia wasn't a plant fan in the first place and this incident only made her theory stronger. She of course felt sad and sorry for the two professors who were the old astronomy woman and the Ancient Runes prof who spoke awkwardly. So because of the sad feelings she had had and because of the intense curiosity that had gotten into her. She decided to join the searching parties that were set to search for the professors and the plant. It might sound not reasonable to see Cassia choosing to do so. And she herself had been surprised by her sudden decision. But she thought that not always searching parties would be assigned and she was curious to know how this thing was done. Another reason she joined is because she wanted to make sure the plant was dealt with justice.

Which was what happened. As the charms professor blew up the plant when it was cornered by the students and staff in the greenhouses. Where a student was pulled by the plant but Cassia was too busy making sure she was far away from the plant and also trying to convince her friend Lex to not sacrifice her precious life for nothing. Of course Lex and Cassia were so convinced that they had saved the school from the plant. Though the snake didn't even get near it but they had embraced that fact and believed in it and intended to pass it on the coming generations. They also were going to have statues built for themselves once they got older. And so the turn events of the year made Cassia both sad and excited to leave the castle. Sad because she had so much fun and hated to leave her friends. But excited to tell her family about her awesome second year and to get taller and older during summer.

◤◢ Third Year ◤◢
Thirteen years old Cassia was pretty much the same with slight and obvious differences. One being her mood swings caused by her 'growing up' as in puberty. Like the girl she is, she had freaked out a bit dramatically. Especially with her grandmother drumming the concept of growing up into her. If the old woman thought it was helpful, she was wrong. It might have confused the people around her, particularly her friends. All thoughts were shared with Blue whom was the most to understand being the same age and on the verge of the same situation. Chocolate and candy provided by West also helped, as him being casual helped her being at ease and act casually in return. That though, wasn't the highlight of the year. Nothing seemed to be actually. As the wizarding world had the Board of Governors elections the school was occupied with that. Debates, lessons teaching them about all the electing thing and campaigns. It wasn't something that interested her. But she liked to snoop and have a look at mostly everything. Like during the hogsmeade debate, she and Lex had neglected whatever was going on on the stage and instead kept staring at the headmistress's hair debating whether it was real or not. The suspicions started when Lex brought up a time when Headmistress Truebridge wouldn't let the lioness touch the red hair of hers. While bored, the two could come with the craziest theories and ideas. Speaking of ideas, Cassia with Blue had had lots of talks about many girly things. Plus gossip of what was going on at the school as they shared their own opinions and point of views. That led them to an idea. Being quite confident and excited helped them develop the idea of starting their own business in the castle. Matching business. Since it was like one of the very things that interested the population of the school. They started with flyers and hanging them around the school. The brooms-cupboard was their headquarters as they did a bit of redecorating and cleaning. The thing was, that they had spent days there, munching on cookies and waiting for costumers to show up. No one did. They kept hoping though.
Between classes and randomly hanging out with friends as well as spending time in the broom-cupboard waiting for customers, nothing seemed to be happening. Away from the classes and all that, Cassia as usual was always attending Quidditch matches. Taking it on her conscience to cheer for her friends and more specifically those on the Slytherin team. And it was on one of those days that she and Lex decided to test out there theory about Truebridge's hair. With a quick plan, Cassia crept up on the woman from behind while Lex worked on the distraction. The snake had got her hand on a lock of hair and was about to give it a tug when the unfortunate happened blowing the entire plan. As she was a bit allergic to strong smells, cue her dislike for flowers, Cassia had sneezed smelling the perfume the headmistress had on that day. It would probably have been okay, had she not got snot on the woman's neck. It wasn't a pleasant situation. On the bright side, no punishment had been called for. Except probably sheer embarrassment. With that the blond strolled back to her seat. She might have felt a little bad having been yelled at, not that loudly nor abusively but she was one to exaggerate. She and Lex , down one of the corridors, managed a small note then the snake sent the note to the apparecium. The infamous paper took care of that and published an article talking about the headmistress's wig. It was a good laugh for both of the girls, especially when students spotted the headmistress having a haircut in hogsmeade. Maybe in a decade or so they'd feel bad and realize the wrongness of what they did. Or maybe not. That was something to lift up her spirit after the sore disappointment and failure regarding the Clue matching up business. Both the Ravenclaw and the Snake started discussing and analyzing trying to see where they had gone wrong. The year dragged on, the third-year continuing with her life routine at the castle, getting by with classes and homework while spending most of her time hanging out with friends and the only journeys she makes to the library were to see the librarian and TALK. He was a very good listener. The end of term feast came along, and with that the governors were announced. Like every feast, Cassia busied herself with a tour around the tables seeing her goodbyes then returning to the Slytherin's table when it was time for the speech and the food.

I was born in London. I’m from a fairly wealthy muggle family. I don’t share this with a lot of people right off. Don’t want to be seen as a spoiled brat. Once my magic started to show, my parents searched for an in-home tutor so I wouldn’t have to go away to school. Something about keeping their perfect image in the muggle world.

I continued muggle school while learning magic and was ultimately the outcast. I was the weird girl no one wanted to hang out with or that everyone just ignore. I finally begged them to let me finish my last three years at Hogwarts. Hopefully, I’m not too far behind everyone.

Christopher Stylinson was born on April 11th in Yorkshire, England. For three years of his life, the house in Yorkshire only consisted of three people. Then, just before Danielle was born when Chris was four, the family picked up and moved to Liverpool. Only spending one year there, the family moved down to Paris, France, where baby Charlotte was born. The family did not spend much time here before Chris’s father’s job relocated him to Barcelona, Spain. The family spent almost three years here until they had to move over to Staten Island, New York in the United States of America. Here they stayed for only six months before going to Athens, Greece. This is where they stayed for two years, during which Mason, the last of the Stylinsons, was born. At this point, Christopher was now 11, Dani was 7, and Charlotte was 4. Once Mason was about two years old, the family picked up and moved to Sydney, Australia. In those five years, Christopher had received his Hogwarts letter but his parents both decided that he would not be able to go until they felt he was ready. Not long after his eleventh birthday, Mr. and Mrs. Stylinson hired a personal tutor that would be able to teach Chris everything he’d need to know before entering Hogwarts. Just as he was settling into Sydney, his parents agreed that moving to London would be the best for the whole family in hopes that Chris would be able to make friends before entering school. At this time, Christopher was 15, Danielle was 11, Charlotte was 7, and Mason was only 3.

Harold and Eleanor Stylinson had both grown up in London and both attended Hogwarts around the same time. After the two graduated from the school and got married they had settled down in Yorkshire in hopes of having a simple life that only included magic when necessary. Not that they didn’t love their powers but they wanted to keep their future kids safe and decided the less magic the better. After being married for three years, Chris was born and each agreed on keeping their son away from Hogwarts until they felt right.

During this time, Chris was one of the most outgoing and energized kids any parent could ever think of. He was always bouncing off the walls and eating all sorts of candies and that’s how his parents liked him. Once Danielle was born, Chris changed a bit. Though he was still just as spoiled as ever, he no longer got the attention that he was so used to and so he hid himself a little more than before. There was nothing he didn’t love about being a big brother though. Whenever he got the chance, Chris would carry Danielle and help feed her because that’s just what big brothers did. And, even though Chris wasn’t so fond of moving around all over the place, he was glad to be around his family rather than at a muggle school. Once Charlotte was born, Chris’s mother began working at a local hospital and his dad wasn’t seen very much around the house anymore. The live-in babysitter was constantly attached to the girls of the house, leaving Christopher to find other forms of entertainment. This was probably around the time when he was no longer so sure of himself all the time. Christopher was now an official big brother and had to constantly make sure that his sisters were okay; he could never ever let anything happen to them. With two adorably cute sisters, both younger than him, he rarely ever got the attention he searched for and just gave into the fact that he wasn’t as cute or important as he once was. After Mason was born, he was sure of his feelings and couldn’t help but express himself that way. No longer would Chris run around with excitement because he was too afraid of annoying someone. It was cute when six year olds ran around, not when eleven year olds did it.

When Mr. and Mrs. Stylinson took time out to notice that something had changed within their son, they got him started on his schooling in hopes that he was just bored. Once they realized this wasn’t the case, they took the eleven year old boy to a psychiatrist in Australia and wondered what could have gone wrong. For about two years, Christopher attended counseling sessions until it was agreed among family that Chris no longer needed to be counseled and could move to London. While Dr. Starr, his psychiatrist, was not very happy about this, she agreed to let him go as long as Chris checked back in when he wasn’t feeling well and continued to take his meds. With a few bumps in the road, he made it to London with hopes of only ever having to return to Australia for vacations.

Personality

Rid of the insecurities of her younger years, Sky is everything one would expect a spoiled little rich girl to be. Arrogant, boastful and insistent that she is going to get her way, by Merlin! She also cares about the social ladder and is certain of her place on it, and completely determined to climb it, no matter what. The adults around her would say that she is actually smart, she just applies it the wrong way. Gone too, are her prankster ways.

Background

Sky was born into a very wealthy wizarding family. The ironic thing about her family's money is that it's all from a muggle company (her great grandfather founded the popular retail chain Wall-Market, an alternative to the even more known Walmart). She was raised like a princess, and had everything money could buy.

At the age of five, Sky started her education at an elite muggle private school. She was well liked by her peers (despite the overconfidence and lame ability to keep up with friends). Her teachers, however, reported that while she was very smart, she had a tendency to not do her homework. At the age of seven, after an argument with her mother on that very topic, Sky showed her first sign of magic by making her textbooks fly into the toilet. After that, her father and aunt began regaling her with tales of their Hogwarts days in order to prepare her for hers. At eleven, she did, indeed, get her Hogwarts letter and off she went!

Sky started her first year at Hogwarts with a bang, (almost) literally! She set off a stinkbomb in a house meeting led by the Head Boy and Girl. She was trying to get a housemate she felt was being mean, and ended up serving detention for Professor Lafay (yes, the other girl got the same punishment). Not to long after that, she meet Erin ( whom she supposes could be called a friend), and went on a fun adventure in the Room of Requirement.

About mid way through the school year, strange things started happening around Hogwarts. Stuff started disappearing, there was a fire, just strange things like that. It was revealed at the end of term feast to be the work of a baby!house elf (after, of course, said baby elf caused all kinds of mayhem there, too). At the end of this term Sky returned back to New York, eagerly awaiting her second year.

Sky's second year at Hogwarts was a whirlwind of activity, what with the school celebrating it's 1000 year anniversary and all. On top of that, the creatures from the Forbidden Forest began randomly appearing on the school grounds, scarring some of the students and exciting others. When asked why, one of the creatures explained that there was something in the forest scarring them just as much their sudden appearance was scarring the students. When Professors Scabior, Williamson, Vindictus and Roslund went investigate, they returned with a weird orb thing. This orb was passed around all around until it landed with Headmaster Tate.

As for personal happenings, Sky was pulled from Hogwarts toward the end of her second year, due to her grandfather's sudden death. Her father no longer approved of her being so far from home for such a long period of time. So, Sky was enrolled back in her old muggle private school, with a magic tutor spending an hour or so with her everyday.

Sky's return to the Constance Billard School was eventful, to say the least. She found that her mortal enemy from her youth (Libby Summers) now wanted to be all buddy buddy, her former bestie (Karina Smith) was now the rather evil queen bee and wanted nothing to do with her, and perhaps much more complicated, her male neighbor (Cory Schmidt), the one that also attended Constance Billard, was romantically interested in her. She decided to tackle the easiest problem first and befriended her former enemy, who turned out to be a much better friend than her former one. With both Libby and Cory's help, Sky ended up earning back her top spot in the school. Much to Karina's disgust, which ended up sparking an out and out war for dominance between the two former friends. The school's teachers put a stop to this after a well aimed glass shattered right in Karina's face one day, almost taking out her eye. The two girls and their friends were locked in the counselor's office and told that they couldn't come out until they had come to a truce. Which they did rather quickly, because who wants to be stuck in a counselor's office all day? They still haven't found out who threw the glass......

The next year led to Sky admiting that she had feelings for Cory (or Schmidt, as she affectionately calls him), and they began to date. Their relationship was largely drama free and they were the 'it' couple of the school.

Sky found out towards the end of her fourth year (or freshman year of high school), that she would be returning to Hogwarts, due to her parents wanting her to have a more formal and traditional magical education, which they felt that she wasn't receiving from her magic tutor. And they felt that it would be easier for her to take her OWLs in a school. So, Sky went to London for the summer, to stay with her aunt and get caught up with the goings on in the wizarding world, so that she wouldn't be so out of the loop. This put an end to her relationship with Cory, since they both felt that a long distance relationship wouldn't work for them.

HISTORY/ABOUT ME
Cale Newell and Anna Greingoth met during the 2065-2066 Hogwarts school year. Both of them were Gryffindor prefects, and despite being at separate schools during the Cooper's and Belle's fiasco, they managed to get together and became a Hogwarts Power Couple (with one small hitch involving a certain Paul Kutcher character in Cale's sixth year). After Anna graduated, they got married and a little over a year later, Sophie and Caleb arrived.

Hi, I’m Caleb! My father usually refers to me as “Junior” even though I’m not TECHNICALLY a “Junior” because I have a different middle name. My parents are super cool and left pretty big shoes for us to fill around the school, and I fully intend on making them proud and doing the best I can to leave my own legacy. Dad keeps joking that if I get sorted into Slytherin I’m not allowed to come back to the house for Christmas, but he’s going to be pretty surprised in that first letter home!! (Also he’s not serious, he’d NEVER deny us Christmas!)

I have a twin sister named Sophie, and she’s pretty cool I guess. I mean, she’s a girl and I’m a guy so there’s only so much we can talk about and have in common, ya know? We have very similar personalities though, and I’m sure we’ll get closer at school, especially now that we’re in the same house!

Overall, my family is just awesome and I could talk about them for days. You know my granddad was the MINISTER right? I’m also looking forward to seeing my grandmother in potions class – I’m super excited to see what she has to teach me! I LOVE potions! I don’t really know her that well and I think I’ve only seen her once but she has to be really cool right? I also have a huge extended family. There’s my great uncle Ben who is really crazy and likes to make origami swans, and then my aunt Sierra who just graduated and is really sassy (I can see why SHE was in Slytherin for sure) and then there’s my Uncle Alex. I think he’s an Uncle. I dunno. Apparently there’s some complicated story there that Mum and Dad aren’t in any rush to explain. Whatever, he’s cool too, and likes to teach me how to read runes.

This is only the beginning of my story, so I’m sure I’ll have more to put here later!

I'm super fond of My house, my family, winning house points, reading, Potions, Care of Magical Creatures, Charms, wizards chess, eating, being outside, swimming, CANDY (especially jelly slugs!) eating, having a lot of pets (we used to have a pup named Bella, I’m trying to get our parents to get us another for Christmas!!) comic books, eating, Wizard Rock, Gobstones, and did I mention eating?
But I do not care for Being hungry, History of Magic (history is SO DULL) Quidditch (It’s just kind of…boring I guess? Oh well. I’ll still go to the games though! To socialize and stuff obviously) drawing or anything that involves any shred of artistic ability, tripping and embarrassing myself, scary magical creatures who want to eat me, toads (they’ll give you warts ok!) girls who talk in high pitched voices for no reason, being sick and donuts. I don’t know why I don’t like donuts. I just don’t.

WOOOOT second generation Newells! This character is obviously the son of Cale Newell, my charrie who was a Gryffindor prefect. He almost immediately began dating his co-prefect, Anna, and after she graduated, they got married and had kids. Imagine how surprised they were when ANOTHER set of twins entered the family! Anna Banana plays Anna, and she is currently her Ministry character, whereas Cale is currently working in the Healing program to become a certified healer someday (he bounced around a couple of temp jobs, not really settling down until recently, because his wife had such a successful job, he figured it was time to really have a CAREER) I’m super excited to play his son, and in SLYTHERIN as well! Look out snakes, there’s another Newell coming through!

Background
Józsua Istvan was born on 17th February 2066 to his French mother, Monique Laurent, and his Hungarian father, Andras Istvan. He was born in England and the family settled there for the first two years of his life after his birth. Józsua was taught to speak his parent's native tongues from birth, together with English. He is fluent in all three languages.

From the age of two upwards, Józsua's life was spent moving from country to country and city to city due to his parents freelance partnership as Interpreters. He has picked up a bizarre mix of an accent but sounds predominently American, which he speaks in a lazy, laid back drawl. While growing up, Józsua has lived in Italy, New York and France, and finally settled back in Budapest, Hungary upon hearing the news that Andras' best friend, Eduard Asztalos, was terminally ill.

After Mr Asztalos's death, his wife passed away shortly afterwards (which we wont go into detail over), leaving their children orphaned. It fell upon Monique and Andras as Godparents to take them in. Enre and his baby sister Éva, came to live with the family. Józsua, accustomed to being an only child and the centre of his parent's universe, suddenly found himself a middle child..

A position he did not take kindly to..

The difference between Józsua and his adpotive brother was quite astonishing. Where Józsua had been mollycoddled; he was opinionated, selfish, cunning, even a little brash at times; Enre had been brought up to be selfless and to want for nothing. He was personable, polite, quiet. His parents turned their affections towards this boy and Józsua grew to quietly resent his brother.

Enre was to attend Durmstrang, at his parent's request, that year. Józsua would continue to be homeschooled. Once he turned eleven, he didn't go to Durmstrang like Enre. His French mother instead decided upon the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic for her half French son.

Once at school. Józsua was a high flier without having to put in much effort. His consistent O grades were rewarded with smiles and gifts but he couldn't help the nagging feeling that it was only skin deep. When Enre, who was an average student, was scouted to play reserve for the Hungarian Hortails Quidditch team when he was fifteen, it became apparent to Józsua that he was truly second best. He went inside himself. An inner anger and jealousy developed which he kept hidden away. Enre wasn't Istvan blood, but was doted on like he was the prodigal son. Józsua withdraw and ceased proper communication with his parents. When the opportunity arose not long after his fifteenth birthday to move in with his Aunt in London, he seized it with both hands. The chance to get away from home as well as to live in London. He couldn't wait.

He transferred from Beauxbatons to Hogwarts and is set to begin his education there this term.

Personality
Józsua is a complex, private person. He doesn't like to talk about himself but loves to hear about other people. He comes across as friendly, caring and interested in others. He is fiercely independent and likes to be unconventional in the way that he dresses and almost deliberately steers away from the crowd. He would never intentionally hurt anyone (unless they deserved it), but his sardonic, colourful sense of humour can make him appear cruel. He has an inner self-hatred which developed as a result of his adoptive siblings moving in with the family. He is very self-aware and knows, deep down, that the resentment of them is both selfish and irrational. He finds his thoughts hard to control and sometimes thinks things he knows is wrong. He truly believes he is a bad person and HATES being complimented because he thinks it's undeserved.

He is a bright and articulate boy and tries not to make judgements on first appearances and takes people at face value until he gets to know them. Once friends, if you do something he doesn't like, boy, will he judge. Quietly judge. ..His responses to situations can be unpredictable and he certainly has a selfish, stubborn and manipulative side. He has developed his parents 'wanderlust' and loves to visit new places and experience new cultures.
