Bright and shining with a variety of different colors, Simply Stylish Salon sits towards the entrance of Hogsmeade's street where all can see. The funky hair salon looks more to be built out of plastic than the usual wood and stone one would see down the street. Decked out with greens, blues, and oranges on the outside with a handful of fun decoration shapes such as stripes, triangles, and stars, this shop is anything but ordinary!
On the inside, you are immediately hit with wizard rock music playing through the shop as the yellows, reds, and orange colors and new assortment of flowing shapes, most notable of them all being the 'swirl', take your attention. A plush waiting area to the side holds comfortable couches and a clear glass table that sits upon a very fluffy rug that feels more like a cloud than anything. Hair styling magazines lay upon the tables as oddly shaped shelves of products the store sells line the walls.
Just before the styling stations is the receptionist desk, white and bizarrely shaped. The six styling stations themselves are both uniform and distinct in their own ways, each having a different shade of color as it's theme while the hair washing stations in the back are tranquil with blues and purples. Monte himself seems to blend into his surroundings as he is quite a colorful man, but never fear. Despite his unusual look, he is quite brilliant and talented at what he does!

She was SO going to buy some of those hair-changing potions as well as the rapunzel-rapunzel's...and the shampoo and conditioner - and maybe some of the silky-hair potion.
Walking to the desk she looked at the services.
WAXING? That sounded painful. She kind of wanted to dye her hair - but it was a moot point with her really so she was going to simply get it cut, and shampoo'd and all prettified.

After a new coloring, the PINK haired man practically danced around his salon with a bright and sunny smile, cleaning broom in hand, grooving to the music. THIS WAS HIS SONG! It was only after he twirled around and striked an epic pose as the song ended did he notice...the most beautiful mop of curly hair he practically ever saw.
These kids were so lucky, they didn't even realize.
"WELCOME!" He called over to the youngster, smiled widening even more if that were possible. Monte made his way to the front of the shop, leaning the broom against a random counter. "Welcome, welcome. How can I help you on this fiiiine day?"

It took a while for Theo to actually get anywhere near this shop. His mum usually cut his hair, since he didn't like people getting their grubby paws all over his head. But he was actually improving with that, so he thought this would be a real step of achievement. Besides, his mother was terrible at cutting hair. Soooooo... the long haired third year tapped his fingers against his side during the whole strut to the shop.
Time for those annoying locks to go for good!
Blast those chattering fingers, though.
He rushed in and shut the noise out behind him. The shop was quiet, which didn't help at all since he could hear himself think. Theo scanned over the pricing list and figured that a dry cut would be the best choice, and kept within his price range. He tucked his hair behind his ears, perhaps as a final cling, before he looked at the rest of stuff on offer.
... Facial hair shave? PSSshtht.... he wished. But honestly, facial hair was extremely unattractive, if Theo said so himself. So, mother nature, you can actually get OUT with your facial hair.

"And maybe a good dose of that amazing hair color you do...I mean I'd do any colors really - maybe like purple or pink or zebra...anything really." Zebra hair would be AWESOME.
The sound of the door opening though started the girl.

Pink! Purple! ZEBRA! Monte practically died a little inside from over-excitement. "Zebra! NOW you're thinking!" he beamed, almost having tears in his eyes. This one, THIS ONE, had such a bright and happy future ahead of her, Monte just knew it.
Glancing towards the door to see who entered, Monte took a deep breath. He couldn't take the smile off of his face if he even wanted to. Theo? What an unusual and unique name for a girl. "Well lets get to a station while you think about what kind of coloring you want." Monte paused, leaning closer to her and lowered his voice. Secret voice. "You know, I do have a hair coloring that'll wash out after a few weeks."
Just so she knew. The Zebra hair style was still up for option!

Oichi walked down the street knowing Laura was following not too far behind. Oichi caught sight of the salon. It had a bright and colorful look, she had to see more. She opened the door and was transported into a color wonderland. The place was amazing. She marveled at everything as she waited for Laura to catch up with her.

"Is it possible to..." she trailed off lifting a section of hair and exposing the underside of those amazing curls. "dye the underside-violently pink and the top side zebra?" She asked excitedly. She wanted striped pink, black, and white hair..."Or just do pink and black zebra stripes!" EXCITED. She was excited. She didn't care if she looked silly - she'd be herself and unique and amazing and perfectly magical.
"Can we get it done before the debate? Or do you want me to run and do the debate stuff and come back?" She asked Monte quickly. "I'm one of the MC's" she nodded excitedly.

Theo had hardly recognized her since her hair had like, exploded with curls. It didn't always look like that, though. Perhaps she was a user of hair straighteners like HE was. Yep, they were good stuff, but time consuming. "Hi." He said simply, giving her one of the most blandest of smiles ever.

Theo had realized in the space of three seconds that the shopkeeper was wacko. Too much energy in that greeting. He just wanted as little fuss to be made whatsoever, thank you. "Hi. Just a... wet cut." He said as he shuffled around the change in his pocket.
Ehhh, he wouldn't bother checking if he had enough. Yeah, let's just wing it.

"Good luck Theo! I'm sure you'll look absolutely amazing after the cut." She smiled and with one bounding step practically ran from the store just to get to the debate just in time. She would be back of course.

Presley's roots were growing in, which was awful. She knew that the reason she'd originally gotten the ombre was that she would only have to do root touch up, and as she got trims eventually it would be the same colour, but she was bored with it. Her hair had been this way since July, and she was ready for a change. She hoped they took walk-ins because she really wasn't in the mood to make an appointment and come back another time.
She pushed open the door to the strange looking salon and stepped up to the receptionist desk. "Hello?" she asked, not immediately seeing anybody.

Her precious 150% real hair! How rude!
As soon as she had read the article, the real redhead had had to race down to Hogsmeade to go get a very public, very real haircut. She quickened her pace as she approached the door of the Simply Stylish salon, and then once she was inside, threw off her trench with a dramatic, "Monte, where ARE you?"
SHE NEEDED HAIR HELP OKAY. This was of the utmost importance! Forget the other clients, they could all come back later!!

"I have green hair coloring if that's what you're asking."
Monte laaauuughed. Of COURSE the lad wasn't asking that. He was MUCH more of a PURPLE hair color kind of person. Monte smiled and shook his head, spraying the boy's hair with water. "Do you have any other suggestions? And how short or long do you want your hair, young sir?"

Monte hurriedly made his way over to the girl, CONCERN written allllllllll over his face as he eyed the girl's hair. His hands clasped in front of himself. What was this? The voice of the heavens was in his shop. Monte scurried out from the back of the shop, only to stop dramatically right in the middle of it, hand fluttered up to his chest where his heart was. "Headmistress Truebridge!" The mother of all redheads! The most GLORIOUS strands of red hair, in his shop! This was CODE RED! Something was wrong. Monte waved her to come closer. "TELL ME! Tell me. What's the gossip?"

"Monte Bossa! Thank MERLIN you're here," Anastasia hurried straight over to Monte's side, her arms flung open for the obligatory hug hug fake fake kiss kiss routine allllllllll the popular people did. She took a step back after the hug and gave him a head-to-toe look.
He looked well and colorful, as always. But ugh, he just had to use the word gossip, didn't he. Annie's lips immediately pursed at the offensive word, but she decided not to hold it against Monte. He couldn't know, could he? Could he have seen the paper? Maybe she should just let the rag speak for itself.
"THIS is the problem," she informed him in a low voice, summoning the ugly scrap of parchment from the pocket of her coat. Annie passed it to him and flung a hand back on her forehead.
Oh woe was she! "Monte, what EVER am I to do to prove to people that my lovely lady locks are REAL?"

Dearie, mother of hair products. This had disaster written all over it. "Hello! Hellooooo. Come on in." Monte hurriedly made his way over to the girl, CONCERN written allllllllll over his face as he eyed the girl's hair. His hands clasped in front of himself. "Dear girl, how long has it been like this?"
Those poor roots. Such an awful way to be shown off to the world.
Presley jumped in surprise. Did he think her hair was awful? "Well, I got the ombre done in July, but I'd been getting regular root touch ups. They really just became noticeable in the last couple of weeks." Because of course she wouldn't go around looking like a freak who dyed her own hair in the kitchen sink. Wasn't that why she was here?
"Um, but I was thinking I wanted to do something different?" Ombre was cool when only a few people did it, but once everyone had it, it became much more boring. "I was thinking something more natural." She glanced around at the crazy salon. "You can do natural, can't you?" She didn't intend to sound rude, but it looked like the kind of place where people came for zebra-striped hair.
