Carigan got herself onto the train and pulled (well, dragged) her trunk behind her. She held a bird cage in her other hand which contained her raven Hamlet. She walked briskly, that is until she came to a little roadbloack in the middle of the corridor where it seemed someone had bumped into someone else.

She soon recognized one of the girls as "Laura!"

Laura smiled as she shook hands with the girl. "I'm Laura Hope Hyde, but you can just call me Laura." Laura smiled as she started day-dreaming again. "I'm just thinking about different things." Laura giggled. "It's hard to explain, but I am sorry if I hurt you." Laura really hoped that she hadn't hurt the girl, "I'll pay more attention too where I am going next time."

Laura was about to continue talking to the girl when suddenly she heard her name being spoke. "Cardigan..." Laura suddenly blushed. "I mean Carigan." Laura looked at her friend, "Do you need a hand?" Laura thought that she looked like she did. "Anyway why don't we all go find somewhere to sit, where blocking up the corridor here." Laura blushed as she saw people waiting to get past.

So she had been looking around the front of the train for a while before she decided that Jinx wasn’t there. She’ll have to go back… Gwendolyn shook her head, thinking that the black furball had probably already found something amusing, like people’s shoelaces to play with. Ack. She wasn’t really in the mood to start apologizing to other people for her cat. Hopefully she’ll manage to find Jinx soon…

Gwen was about to start running in the other direction, hoping that she would find her cat at the back of the train, when she heard a voice call her name. Who was it? Although it sounded familiar, Gwen couldn’t tell who it was until she turned her head, tracking down the source of the voice. ‘Hello’, she greeted Kurumi. Did she lose something? ‘Ummm...’, the fifth year started saying. She didn’t really lose Jinx… ‘My cat… he seems to have gone for a walk’, she mumbled, drawing her attention away from the Gryffindor Prefect in order to look back at the crowded part of the train corridor.

Now.

Where is Jinx?!

Gwen tried hard not to look panicked. ‘Ji-‘, she started calling his name, but stopped herself as she noticed a black furball making his way to the owner,curiously eyeing the suspended cat over the older girl's shoulder. ‘Jinx!’, Gwen said happily, taking the fluffy cat In her arms. ‘Your cat is very cute’, she told Kurumi. Hmm. She knew the name. She did… she just couldn’t remember it right now. Something with W, was it?

Kurumi eyed Gwen for a moment, looking around the area and still fumbling with her own hand in her pocket for the bag of tuna fish cookies to give to Walnut. Actually, Gwen was right. One did not lose a cat because, well, they were not the sort of creatures that really got lost. At least not in Walnut's case. It was more of him not wanting to be found, and that was a distinct difference. Lost things wanted to be found...cats didn't always want that. When they wanted to be found, they let you know. "Say no more, I completely understand," Kurumi said as she gave her own feline a look. Walnut was always going off somewhere...and it was usually Lewis who found her and, well, now Kurumi knew a little more as to why Walnut had taken such a liking to the Hufflepuff common room.

"Here, you want to try and see if you can lure him out with the smell of one of these cookies?" Kurumi asked as she offered one to Gwen. This got Walnut's attention and his tail began to swish back and forth out of view in complete and utter agitation. THAT cookie was for him...NOT this other human thing who was too far away for him to get a proper smell on. HIS COOKIE! HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS! "They are Walnut's favorite and have a pretty strong tuna smell," Kurumi continued, blissfully unaware of what Walnut's tail was doing or the way his ears had just gone down.

At Gwen's next comment, the Gryffindor's eyes widened and she couldn't help but snort!giggle on the spot. "You say that now...but Walnut has a bit of a temper..." BUT....back to the task at hand. "What does...Jinx was it? What does Jinx look like?"

Elliot was merely passing through...trying to find somewhere to sit...

When she ACCIDENTALLY bumped into this small girl...She GLARED, "Hey, firstie watch --" but before she could finish, she did a double take..IT WAS THE GIRL THAT CLIMBED ON THE TRAIN! "Hey! You're that id-" she coughed, trying to think of a better word, "firstie that climbed on top of the train..." she said, raising an eyebrow at her...

Hmph.

She glanced at the two people she was talking to, Taylor and...Damon? Was that his name? She couldn't remember..oh well...

She was about to continue successfully telling these two off for being so gross in public especially after finding out that she had been lied to but then she felt someone knock into her. She would deal with them later. The nerve of them anyway! Lying to a firstie; had they no shame?!

She looked up at the girl and instantly remembered her as one of the older kids that had been yelling at her to come down. Oh no...she didn't want another lecture...she had heard enough...

This didn't stop her from smiling though when the girl clearly seemed to remember her; people always remembered heroes. But she had heard that, that very subtle way that she was about to call her an idiot. It seemed that was the only way the kids around her described heroes and she might have had to get used to it. No reason she couldn't play along. "Yeah I am! And you're the annoying older who kept yelling at us!" Yup, she wouldn't forget.

Elliot glared at the girl. "well, yes, you could have been hurt!" she retorted, her voice as icy as the blue in her eyes. And it had been the one who reminded her of Dani...

"What's your name, firstie?" she asked sharply, stepping aside as someone walked past...best not to get in the way and risk being knocked over. And Elliot's temper was on ultra-high right now...

She stared at her, her blues boring into her...scary? Probably. But Elliot didn't much care. This girl was an idiot. SO far...

Lex scowled slightly when she saw the girl glaring at her right before telling her that she could have gotten hurt. Seriously?! She must have heard that same sentence at least 50 million times since she got down from the train. Yes she was aware that she could have fallen but the point remained that she didn't.

"All you older kids are the same, you know that?" She said raising an eyebrow to her--blatantly refusing to be intimidated. If she wanted to be a gryffie then she had to be brave...but then again she also wanted to be a claw...so maybe she should have been smart. Well standing up for oneself was pretty smart so it was fine. "Don't you think we knew the risk of climbing?" Even though she wasn't thinking about that when she climbed..."how would you feel if someone you cared about was in danger?" She challenged.

Despite the wicked stare the girl was giving her she decided to stay brave. "My name's Alexa. What's yours?"

This corridor was unusually packed for a CORRIDOR. Shouldn't people be sat down in flipping compartments? Sheesh. Anyway, Theo made his way down the said corridor, trying to avoid eye contact with everyone INside their compartments. But really, he was trying to look for some space.

Fine... that was just FINE. Theodore huffed, folded his arms around his chest and sat cross-legged on the floor. Frowning at the ground, his eye spotted a Bertie Bott bean, looking crisp and clean, and most importantly, it looked LONELY.

Oh, should he...........? Yeah, it would be fine. Theo very slowly, like a spy, crept forwards to retrieve the bean, and he popped it into his mouth. No one saw that, right?

CHAOS! YES! CHAOS! That's what was going on in the Prefect Compartment..CHAOS!

Needing some air, Ness got out of her compartment and headed off towards nowhere in particular. It was just crazy in there and she needed to get out. Even walking around in a moving train was better, no matter how nauseous she got. It was better.

Step. Step ...and step.

That was the most exciting it got, untill Ness heard a few younger students talking about. She was needed a distraction and as rude as it was she stood still and began to eaves drop at them, They were saying something about climbing on the train?

Was anything normal today? The now newly Captain still listened, trying to find out more of what it was about.

Damon shrugged, "Maybe some do... But I've stuck with flowers and writing poetry and singing." He smiled, "Sorry to disappoint if I've disappointed."

Elliot snorted..."Because we all are much wiser than you, firstie," she said blatantly...and not really caring. because this little CHILD was utterly FOOLISH.

Foolish.

"And no..you three didn't look like you knew anything, to be honest," she rolled her eyes. Her blue eyes that looked a lot like Dani's. It was something all of the Morganzo children shared...their blue eyes.

How Would Eliot feel?! "I would think of a better plan than putting myself in danger as well!" she snapped, still not giving the girl a friendly smile or anything. Firsties were always annoying. Elliot had never been annoying. Ever. Something about her just oozed adultness. Yep.

Asking her name, now? Elliot rolled her eyes..."Elliot Morganzo..." she held out her hand for Alexa to shake. "Alexa..." she said her name, just to show that she had heard...

Merlin ...first years..

Blue stormed out of her compartment, WMD clutched tight in her fist (which really probably wasn't the best idea for the poor frog....). "BLOODY KNEAZLE!!!! You're in time out now! YOU CAN NOT EAT WMD!!!! AND DON'T BE A BULLY!" What a mean!fat!kneazle. Sigh. Blue slammed the door shut and wrinkled up her nose at the busyness of the corridor. Gosh. But she couldn't exactly go back in there. Barnabus needed to be taught a lesson. Blue placed WMD on her shoulder before starting to make her way down the corridor.

The second year glanced around and spotted Theo. Sitting on the ground. Okay. Giving a little shrug and just sat down next to him gave him a BEAM.

"Haiiii."

Hearing someone shouting down the corridor, startled Theodore, so the bean automatically fell out of his mouth onto the floor. Subtle, Theodore. Nothing to see here, la la laaaa. Once he looked up, his expression lightened to see Blue. Bllllllllllllluuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeee! But... what was she even shouting at? A bloody kneazle?

OHHHHH, not a bloody kneazle.

Theo tightened up his legs to his chest, and eyes widened in horror. The poor boy didn't like cats, and was definitely allergic to them. Only, he wasn't allergic to them at all, he just imagined it all. "BLUE, since when did you have a ruddy CAT?" FLAILLLLLLLL.

Oh, and, "Haaaaaai!"

Blue pursed her lips. "It's not a cat. It's a very large kneazle who keeps trying to EAT my toad." Waaaaaah. "Alice gave 'im to me for my birthday." Which was awesome and all but... He kept trying to eat WMD. And it wasn't like she could give Barnabus back for TWO reasons a) it would be RUDE and b) Alice said Blue was it's mommy so she'd feel really bad if she gave up her baby. And Alice would totally judge her for that. "His name's Barnabus." If he cared to know.

Blue BEAMed again. "HAI." Already said that but whatever. Merlin though. She was REALLY bad for doing that lately. She gave a mini!flail and grinned. "THEOOO. Can ye believe it?! We're SECOND years!! Like, officially now!" How awesome was that?!

She eyed him for a minute not exactly sure how to respond. The girl had said that boyfriends gave candy so what was all this talk about him not giving candy? She made a face when he told her of all the alternatives he had to giving chocolate. "But none of those sound very good! You can't eat songs or poems--you can't even touch them and flowers die all the time...you really should consider candy." Yes, because she was an expert on making girls happy. Afterall, she was a girl and she did know how to make herself happy.

"Nuh uh!" she couldn't help but disagree strongly with what the girl was saying. "That is sooo not true! The older kid who gave us flyers to hand out had the wrong date on it making it seem like the bat still had ten years to vanish!" That wasn't very smart at all.

She scoffed at the girl's next sentence. "We do sooooo know stuff. I mean I knew for a fact that Felix would eat Archer--I've seen him kill a bird before." Her eyes fell to the feline that seemed to have had no interest in the conversation; he didn't even look at the girl.

Hmmmm... "Well I'm sure you remember that there was no other way because all you smart older kids were all too busy staring and yelling to offer any help." Yup, that's how she remembered it so that must have been how it went. Jeez, then she wanted her to believe that older kids knew better, that was clearly not the case!

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.........

A wide smile suddenly crept onto her face then she found herself grinning up at the girl. "HHHEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYY!!! I've heard that name before!!! Do you know someone named Dani? She's a girl I met in the ice-cream shop! She says she has a big sister going to Hogwarts so it must be you!" She took a step closer until she was just a little too close to the girl. "She said I should meet you--that is...if you are her sister." BEAM.

Nathan wasn't sure what it was was but it seemed like a habit he had picked up recently .. (well since he had met Delphie) to end up rubbing the back of his neck with a small grin on his lips whenever she said one of those things.

You know .. where it would be random but probably be something Nathan would remember for a long time. Like right now .. the eating comment he had made and her reply. The teasing. Yeah .. so he did just that, a spontaneous motion as he let her pass him by to walk forward.

He looked around - his eyes scanning compartments which seemed to have filled up with first years even before Delphie commented they needed to find one. When she grabbed his hand and pulled him forward - Nathan followed. They were walking forward when Nathan's eyes shifted and he pulled Delphie into the compartment he noticed was empty. "Here we go," he chimed, closing the slide door behind them. Which was mean in general .. cause so many more kids could fill in and enjoy the ride but he kinda .. just preferred talking to her .. alone.

"So I was saying .. " he started again, collapsing down on the seat.

"Kneazles look scarier than cats, though. You should've got a cat." Theo advised her, stroking his imaginary beard. As he listened to her explanation of the cat, Theo made a face. "She probably infested it with some of her evil." He muttered. Muttered because he knew that Alice and Blue were good friends. Though it didn't take away the fact that Alice was mean to him, all the time. And Blue never seemed to comment on THAT. "Barnabus? Huh....."

It was a weird name.

"HAAAAaaaaaaaaaaai -" He stopped and realized that he was NAWT going to carry on doing this forever, like they had done in their last meeting. "Hi." That was that. "I KNOOOOOOOOOOOW, and did you get a new broomstick?!"

Honestly, this was all Theodore thought about.

Elliot shook her head..."Whatever you day, firstie..." er, "Alexa." She spat out the girls name so casually...eh.

And now the firstie was babbling away...Elliot tapped her foot impatiently...she caught snatches of what she was saying...but none of it really interesting Elliot...

until..

The blonde's eyes widened in fear..WHY WAS SHE SO CLOSE?! "Hey, hey! Get out the bubble!" she indicated to her space around her..."Back off!" she snapped..

but her facial expression...relaxed. She knew Dani?! "Y-you met my sister?" she asked, her voice soft. Then an evil grin spread across her face..."She probably told you have awesome I was, right?" Right. Better be right! "Well yeah, I'm her awesome older sister, Elliot."

Now this firstie wasn't so bad...nope, not at all.

Beth walked through the corridor of the train, hoping she'd be able to find a compartment in the middle of the train that she would be able to wave to her parents from. She was more excited than she was nervous to be starting at Hogwarts. Both of her parents had gone before her and they had told her many stories. She hoped she made lots of friends. She was most nervous about that part.

Gosh she hoped she didn't run into any upper year students. She doubted they'd like it very much if an ankle-biter like her bumped into them.

Blue shruuuugged. "Twas a gift. Apparently it just started to follow Alice 'round Diagon Alley so she gave it to me." Without checking if it had diseases or anything. Not that Blue was like mad about staying clean like some people... but ya know...still. What if it had rabies or something? Or was that dogs..? Eh not that point. The second year eyed her bestie when he mentioned the whole EVIL thing but said NUFFIN. She would not be getting into a fight about her fake!sistah, thank you very much. Nope. "Barnabus." Alice again. What a wonderful non-biological sister she was. Especially since she gave Blue lollipops. All the time.

That was VERY good.

So yeah. Way to score brownie points with Blue, Alice!

Oh no. She did NOT have the energy for more of this HAAAAAAAAI business. Her mom hadn't let her have ANY sugar this morning so... "TIS SO AWESOME--" And she added a flail for good measure. "Yeah. But it's a rubbish second hand one cos I couldn't afford anything else. STILL. Tis better than the silly school brooms. I simply CAN NOT play quidditch on them things. Nope. Did YOU?"

Alexa broke out into uncontrollably laughter when Elliot began making a big fuss about some kind of bubble that didn't even seem to exist. She tried to stop laughing long enough to look up at her. "Silly older girl, there's no bubble!" Then she was taken over by another spell of giggling. Where did older kids get their ideas from?

She tried imagining the girl being surrounded by a bubble and it just made everything so much more funny!

The fun died down when the girl stopped overreacting and started asking her about her sister--so she was the girl Dani was talking about!...But she didn't seem all that scary at all!

"Yeah, I met her! She's really nice!" She said with a wide smile. It was too bad that Dani wasn't going to be going to Hogwarts because then they could have hung out together and gotten into trouble together and everything! Hmmm...did she tell her how awesome she was...?

Not really, but she wouldn't tell this girl that because it might not have gone well for her when Elliot got home. Time for a little white lie. "Yeah, she said you're super amazing and that I should definitely meet you!" At least that last part wasn't a lie. "And now I have met you--oh but she did say you were smart!"

Elliot stared at Alexa...like she was completely NUTS. STARE. "...please stop giggling. it's making me sick..." she told the girl grumpily. Plus, nothing she said was really all that funny..."I mean like my space..." she grumbled...

This girl was sure hyper..and much like Dani. Of COURSE Dani would know this girl...

Elliot couldn't help but grin smugly. "She is, isn't she...nice, i mean..." she shrugged. Super amazing...did Dani really say that? Elliot flipped her hair and looked quite smug indeed, now. "Yeah, you have met me...and I'm a good person to know, Alexa. Stick to me...and i can very valuable to you..." she said with a wink.

Damon smiled, "My father taught me a charm that makes the flowers immortal... And I've made them fairly creative. Like the ones that change colors that I got her for her birthday two years ago..." His smile grew at the memory, "And according to her I'm good at both poetry and singing... though I fail to see why," He looked down at Taylor, "Honestly feel she might be a tad bit mad... but it makes me love her even more."

To say Oakey needed a break from Laura was an understatement, it was ridiculous to think he was going to come clean to her about Felicity when she was holding in that big secret herself. Would this relationship with the third year girl even work out like he had hoped. Oakey assumed that this would be a fun and happy love. Instead it was covered in secrets and Laura causing trouble.

As he was walking down the corridor he spotted some fiery red hair. Oh Oh Oh it had to have been is first and very best friend friend Renesmee! As he shuffled his way down through first years who were still trying to find compartments, he may have helped a few by accidentally pushing them into the compartments. "Renesmee." Oakey said as he got about an arms reach away from her.
