And there was that confidence that he so loved in her. "Yes, you do," Chace said with a smirk of his own. After all he liked that Abby always made a compliment towards his appearance as well. Showed that they both took care of their physical appearances and knew that it was worth commenting on heh.

"Now what kind of a mentality is that?" Chace said with an exasperated look. Seriously. Abby had clearly never played miniature golf with someone that could make it as fun as Chace could. Really it was amusing if you knew the right way to play it. "Now Miss Hastings you are either going to accept this golf club and allow me to show you how exciting Chace Denver can make miniature golf, or I am going to have to resort to other measures," Chace said, stepping closer to her with each word until there was virtually no space between them. He smiled at her with that smile that made people swoon before reaching out and giving her a tickle right around the waist...oh yes, he could play dirty if he needed to.

"Plus," Chace said with a grin. "I'll give you a little something if you make it through the whole course with me." And Chace knew how to give rewards

Abby was pleased. She loved it when guys complimented her.. although Edmund seemed to think she was too full of herself. Whatever. He thought she was gorgeous too so she didn't care really. She gave Chace a kiss on the lips. He deserved it. Heh.

"I don't want to play. That's all." Abby said, stubbornly. She'd played golf with her parents sometimes and she was.. well, she was terrible. The fact that she made an utter fool of herself in front of parents didn't bother her much but Chace was different. She didn't want to give him a reason to laugh at her. "I don't see how you can make golf exciting..." Abby's voice trailed off when she watched him stand right in front of her, with that really incredible smile on his face. He was so hot.

Whaaaaaaaaat!? Abby squealed and jumped away from him. "Chace, no tickling!" She stood where she was, her hands on her hips. Yeah, no. She wasn't going anywhere close to him unless he promised not to tickle her.

Abby smirked, suddenly interested in playing golf. He definitely knew how to get her to do something. "What kind of reward are you talking about?"

Chace could help but chuckle as Abby squealed and distanced herself from him. Her being ticklish was definitely going to be useful! "You know I will stop tickling you if you promise that you'll at least give it at a try...and by try I mean attempt every hole on the course," Chace responded with a smirk. None of that swinging once, saying you tried, and then that was it.

"Now if I told you that Miss Hastings it would take all the fun out of the suspense. You'll just have to play and find out," Chace said, extending the golf club towards her a second time.

Okay, so last time he'd been here, it'd been with Nell and he'd not done too badly. But he was going to practice so next time, he'd know EXACTLY how to play and she'd be amazed and call him a genius! Definitely sounded like a good idea. Picking up a ball and club, Edmund turned towards the course to find Crabby Albie being tickled right in front of him. Bahaha. Smirking, he just watched.

"No, Chace. I am not going to try unless you tell me what the reward is." Because if he just ended up giving her a chocolate at the end of the course, she wouldn't be happy at all. But.. if he had something else for her, she would probably give it a try. Anyway, he just HAD to tell her. Yep. She took the golf club from him and continued with a smirk, "Go on. What is the reward? You know you want to tell me."

Smirking, Abby turned slightly to find Almond standing nearby. She grinned and waved at her friend. Heh. It felt good to see him again. "Hey. You here alone?" Cause he could join them if he wanted to.. although she wasn't sure how comfortable Chace was gonna be if she did invite her friend over..

Dylan hadn't been back to play this game in a very long time and decided that he would come back and have another go after being defeated by a girl! Not that he would tell anyone that he had been, so he arrived on the golf course wearing the lion's head from his costume. He was not showing off that it was him in the costume, he just found it cool to be wearing the head. He just enjoyed being a gryffindor, cause this house had the coolest animal. A scary lion! thats what he could be if he wanted to be anytime.

He grabbed a stick and a ball and with some difficulty due to the head he put the ball down in its position and got ready to hit it! He looked at the hole which he could see a little and at the ball that he could just about see if he pulled the head down a little, so one-handedly he hit the ball and with no surprise the ball went in the totally wrong direction! It went behind him! He stomped his foot a bit before kicking the ball back to the putting green on the course. Holding his head down again so that he could see the ball he got ready to hit it one-handedly again this time trying to make sure that he didn't hit the ball behind him.

Minerva was headed out on the grounds. It was cold, but she didn't mind it. She was hoping for snow soon. Oh maybe it would snow tomorrow for her birthday, that would be great she thought. As she walked she remembered someone telling her about a mini golf course that she hadn't been to yet. It was interesting how things changed at school every term, she still missed the tree house, but the new things were fun as well.

Looking around she started laughing, did that boy actually have a lion head on his head. As she laughed she walked towards him, "Hey lion, do any yoga moves lately?" she wondered if he would realize she was the one in the badger costume that made him dance. Yes badgers were not afraid of cute costumed lions. "What are you playing? Blind golf?" he looked a little wobbly as if he couldn't see right to be hitting a ball. Maybe he would let her join in the game, since all her other friends were busy dating.

Dylan hears someone laughing and was kind of not happy since he was trying to concentrate on hitting this ball! but he heard the laughing coming towards him when he heard that person who was a girl talk to him. He looked up at her, how did she know about the yoga moves? "No! I haven't done any since that boring Defence class!" he had been hoping for some wand movements or spells or something. But nooooo it was all about yoga and answering questions! some of the others had been amazing classes while others had disappointed him.

Ok so he lied to her, he was hoping that she hadn't seen that badger lady put him into a yoga position that bruised him since he lost his balance. If he ever met that badger he would... he would.. well he didn't know what he would do since he didnt know many spells! He was about to go back to his ball when she commented on his technique at hitting the ball "No! well if you think it is so easy, why dont you try it!" he said handing her the stick. He knew she was commenting on his lion head blocking his view of the ball and the course "And No!! I am not! its just... a new way of playing this game... makes it more challenging!" yeah more challenging and more awesome!

He had no clue it was her in the costume, this was great. She smirked at him.. should she have fun with this or be nice. Oh he was only a first year she assumed since she had never seen him before. "My names Minerva, but everyone calls me Minnie or Min." she greeted him. "I wasn't meaning the yoga moves in class silly. I was meaning the yoga pose at the rally that I put you in." she laughed and did the pose showing him how it should have been done. Yes she was sure he was the lion from the pep rally and that was just to much fun.

She shook her head, 'Really, you want me to show you?" she took the stick lined the ball and hit it for a whole in one. Laughing a bit, she looked up "1. I have no big lion head blocking my view, and 2. I use to play mini gold all the time with my family back in the States." she handed him his club back and then went to get the ball. "So want to play around or am I to good for you?" She hoped he would want to play, because she was tired of being alone at the moment.

Dylan listened as she introduced herself, where had he heard that name before. It sounded familiar to him, Minnie... Minnie.. Minnie.. where had he heard that name before. OH! He looked up at her "Minnie.. yeah I think I know you. Entrance hall? ice floor? yeah thats you." he smiled a little glad that the lion head was blocking her view of his face "I'm Dylan, some people call me DJ others call me Dylan." he greeted back as he realised that he knew mostly older people than kids his own age. But some were pretty cool! He wondered under which category he would be putting... Minnie.. yeah he had to remember her name of course! He then was surprised as he realised who Minnie was as she showed him the yoga pose that made him lose his balance and give him bruises as she laughed. He unknowingly rubbed his shoulder that was still a little sore from that day "That was you? That... I mean... you must be thinking of someone else! I didn't do a yoga pose, I was in my common room that day" he said trying to convince her that he was in there all day "Alone!" he added before she would start going around asking other lions whether he was in there that day or not!

He saw her shake her head wondering why she was, he then nodded "Yeah I do!" Cause he knew girls they werent into sports so it would be fun to see this GIRL play a bit of this muggle game. He would then get his chance to laugh at her when she missed that hole completely "This should be fun!" he mumbled to himself as he watched in amusement as she took the stick and hit the ball. He followed the ball, the smile on his face was wiped right off as he realised that the ball was heading straight for the hole. Soon it was in, he looked up at Minnie.. ok so she was not like other normal girls. He listened to her "It's not blocking my view... that much" he mumbled the last two words knowing that she was right, it was stopping him from playing a good game "You did? as a little 5yr old girl right?" he said taking the stick wondering whether he should carry on with such an experienced player or not if she was a 5yr old at the time. Wait that sounded like a challenge to him! well he was not one to back down if that was a challenge "No.. no I will play, I am sure I will beat you on one of those hole thingies!" yeah she had make some mistakes that would allow him to win against her. He frowned and watched as she went to get the ball wondering how he could beat her without her knowing, maybe a few distractions or something should be enough at first but he needed more for later on.

Minerva's eyes widen.. no.. no it wasn't, she looked at him closer, but couldnt' figure it out with a lion's head on him. "Are you the boy who was putting up that sign? Did they ever figure out who did the floor?" Yes she was catching him off guard to see if he really was involved or not, but it always worked. So why not have it work now. Then she started laughing, "Oh I know it was you." rolling her eyes, "You might need some practice on those poses.. How's the arm?" That was a super fun day and she hoped to be able to do it again at sometime.

Minerva couldn't help but laugh when she saw DJ's face with her hole in one. Yes, she just did that buddy... "Yes, since I was five. My family loved going to mini golf in the summer. I'm actually surprised there isn't snow yet to hide the course." It was December and winter.. hmm it should be coming soon though. Looking at him he didn't seem like he was going to play, well if he wasn't that would be fine she guessed, but then he took the challenge. "Great.. You can be first DJ." Stepping back and letting him take his shot.

Dylan wanted to hit himself right then and there! he had revealed to her that it was him that was there in the entrance hall that day since she couldn't see his face "Umm nooo.." he must tread carefully about how much he revealed to this puff and how much he could trust her "Weeelll that would depend on what you thought of the sign.. what was your opinion on it?" he asked just to test her out a bit before he said anything more on that banner "Yeah they did, it was an older Gryffindor that did it. At least I was proved right that it wasnt me" even if the banner was all him. He saw her laugh and he frowned a little under the head, ok.. ok no need to laugh! so he fell big woop! "Yeah the head gave me away" stupid head.. he just had to bring out here didn't he? He what? "No I don't! Those poses are just meant to make people fall!" yeah they were who could deal with all that balancing!? His arm? "Oh the arm is great! look!" he said giving it a little swing before wincing at the soreness that was there, but acted as if he hadnt felt the pain.

He looked at her as she laughed again, it seemed that she loved to laugh alot! It would be good to see if she could still laugh after he beats her at this game! "Since you were five.. right." that was a brilliant idea! snow! now if only he could manage to make it all snowy or icy that way he would be able to win a few holes. He needed to ask the person that did the icing last time to show him how to do it so that the next time he and Mins played he would ice up the course! "Yeah.. I am waiting for the snow too! its just fun!" he would then be able to play his snowfighting game that he talked about with Edmund, he just wished that one professor would agree to the game so that he could hit a professor or two with his snowballs. He took the stick as she said that he could go first, he lined up his stick and he knew he would have to take off the head. So he took off the head and put it on the ground before giving Minnie a quick 'I am watching you' look, just so that she wouldn't take the head and run off with it. He lined up the stick with the ball and hit it, missing the hole as it went to the left of the hole, but he hadn't missed it by a short distance. He disappointedly handed Minnie the stick "Your turn" he said to her as he handed it to her.

Minerva chuckled, "Honestly I thought the sign was brilliant, but.." looking at him more serious you are super lucky you didn't get a ton of points take for doing it." Yes, Professor Vindictus couldn't have seen it or he would have had him flying laps she would think. "So another lion did that, should have figured, but honestly I would have seen it as something a snake would do." she shrugged. Whatever, it was done now and who cared. She laughed as he acted all big and tough, "Yoga is not horrible, you just need to practice. It's actually fun once you get your balance."

She watched as he took the head off and waited for him to look away. Following his shot she pulled her wand out and quietly whispered, "Accio lion head" the head moved towards her and she took and placing it on her head. "Well how do I look?" she grinned from the inside of the head waiting for him to come get it, because she was going to run when he did.

Dylan smiled as she said that the sign had been brilliant “You did? That’s … that’s.. great” he beamed up at her she actually thought it was brilliant? Brilliant! So he could put up more banners like that? Awesome! He tried to look like he was remorseful of his banner act but he wasn’t. “Yeah I guess I am lucky. But it was a good idea so… maybe.. I wouldn’t have had… too many points taken away..” yeah maybe the professor wouldn’t have minded it as much if it was a good idea. He nodded “Yup! Well… maybe she was a snake in disguise? Aaannddd was… trying to get a lion into.. trouble? ” well that made sense right? He hoped it did! She laughed again? This puff seemed to be a giggly one! She loved laughing a lot! Or was he just funny? .. Yeah he could say that he was funny and that she was laughing cause he was funny!

“Wait! What you are saying is that yoga is fun?” he said making a face “Well I am not practicing that! it’s the professor’s trick to weaken us! Giving us bruises and stuff! You watch out for that class!” yeah he had to warn her, cause he could tell that she was.. a strong girl so… so it would not be nice to see her weakened. He had just hit the ball that he had missed by a little bit and was about to walk towards the ball and give Minnie a turn when she asked him how she looked. He looked at her curiously before he realised that she had put his lion head on her head, he looked down at where he had put it and saw that it was gone! “Hey!! That’s mine! Give it back!! You cant wear that you are not even a lion!! Badgers don’t wear lion heads” he said rushing towards her trying to get the head off of her, but she was taller so he couldn’t take it off her. He just hoped that she wouldn’t run, cause if she did he was sure going to run after her cause that head was his!

Minerva shook her head at his explanation. "Well you find that every house has trouble makers." she wasn't sure yet if he was going to be one for his house or not. He seemed to like mischief, which could cause trouble. Kurumi would never have that in her house though. So maybe he would listen while she was still here at least. "Well I thought it was a good idea, but I don't see the professor thinking the same thing." she half smiled saying this. She would have liked seeing Vindi's face when he came across the sign.

Minerva laughed through the head when she saw Dj's face and squealed as he came towards her to get the head back, he wasn't going to get it that easy. She backed away and ran from him jumping over the first hole on the golf course.

Dylan watched her shake her head, what she didn't believe him? Ohh troublemakers? "Yeah.. yeah I guess they do. Though I haven't seen any in my house, have to say I can't say the same for hufflepuffs" he said trying not to laugh since Minnie WAS a puff! He wondered if she too was a troublemaker in disguise, if she was maybe he could learn a thing or two from her. He had seen alot of puffs do cool things that they shouldn't do even if was by accident. That guy..... Elijah? now he was awesome! Maybe it was time to hang out with that guy and some of the other puffs that were around at that time. Was this Minnie capable of trouble? mm might be interesting to find out, now how could he find out if she was. mmm. He frowned "Well the professors?... they are just boring... between you and me.... they deserve a little something more... in their morning pumpkin juice!" he gave a little nod.. yeah they did! now if only he knew some potions that reacted in a funny or cool way then he was ...sure going to do that!

He heard her laugh as she squealed in delight at the fact that he was coming at her to catch the head. He then saw her back away and ran from him. He watched her jump over the first hole, he nearly tripped over the first hole as he nearly lost his footing there. "Hey! stop! give that head back!! You are not supposed to wear it!" he said still running after her to get his head back. Cause he was not going to leave her alone without getting his head back!

Minerva shook her head, "Oh no we don't have many in my house. Just a few mistakes that happened at the beginning of term. You will see, we will catch up on points easy." Minerva was sure of that. She worked to hard not to have those points move in the right direction. "Oh there are troublemakers in your house. Have you met Maxwell Lupin yet?" Yeah he could be a starter, "Plus I'm not thinking you are to innocent either." she eyed him. Then his comment about the professor, nope not innocent at all. "The professors are actually fun if you stay on their good side." She eyed him.. yes that was her way of giving some advice.

Minerva ran away as he chased her, did he really think she was going to give him that head so easy. "Oh come on lion boy, you can move faster then that.." she laughed and took off near hole three. Good thing there wasn't anyone playing on this cold day. It was really hard to see in this mask, Minerva tripped in the hole and fell to the ground, the head falling off and rolling across the frozen ground. She couldn't help but roll with laughter.

Dylan looked at her curiously “Well those mistakes.. don’t look like they are going to stop anytime soon. Yeah well we will see about that” he said not realising that the puffs had already gone past Gryffindor and were ahead of them in the house cup race. For he had not seen the hour glass with the current points on them. He frowned as she said there were trouble makers in his house too, he shook his head “No you must be mistaken, we are not trouble makers.. no way! Maxwell Lupin? Nope I havent met a kid by that name. why?” he asked her.. HUH? She said whatnow? “I am too innocent! Look at this face does this face look like the race of a not-so-innocent kid?” he asked before he realised what he had said “I mean a not-so-innocent .. er.. guy! yeah guy.. huh?” he corrected his sentence. He looked at her as if she had said something in a different language that he didn’t understand “Professors? Fun? Well from what I have seen they arent that fun! That astronomy professor cant take that she is old!! Something is wrong with professor lafay I am sure.. And you call them fun?” he questioned her cause there was no way that he was going to believe that the professors were fun.

He continued running after her as fast as he could to get that head back and at times he was so close that he had almost touched her jacket but missed. He was spurred on by her telling him that he could run faster than he was, maybe he should give her a push but before he could even do that he saw her tumble to the ground as she tripped on a hole. Dylan saw the head go rolling off as he looked at Minnie to see if she was ok.. she was laughing so he went to get the head before anyone else could get it and he brought it back to her side as he was breathless “I.. I knew I would g..get this back” he chuckled as she continued laughing “Y.. you okay? Sounds like someone put something into your morning pumpkin juice.. AND it wasn’t me!! Honest!” he said almost immediately defending himself before she would think that he had anything to do with it.

Minerva just rolled her eyes, "Ok, Dj, if you say so, but I think I would know. I have been here longer then you and probably know more lions then you do." she smirked. Then she shook her head, "No.. no you have it wrong.. They are fun. Last year in Divinations we made Gypsy wagons and then raced them. We have learned spells to transfigure hair into different styles and colors. In care of magical creatures we have swam in the lake and watched a dragon hatch. So don't worry the professors can be fun, but not if your misbehaving." she eyed him knowing darn well that he was not as innocent as he tried to make himself out to be.

Minerva rolled on the ground laughing. "I..I'm fine. No one put anything in my juice. I am just having fun as well." she sat up and smiled at the first year. "Your pretty cool for a first year." she laughed. She needed to just have fun for a few moments. All the stress from the term was starting to get to her, so it was nice to just have some fun with this kid. "So what have you liked so far about school?" She was sitting on the cold ground, but at the moment she was fine with it.

Dylan listened to her as she rolled her eyes he wanted to shake his head at that but he didn't he nodded "I do say so, but we will see as time goes on who is right!" he gave a small nod and smiled cause he knew that he was going to be right or at least he hoped he would be. "Well I know.." he counted off the top of his head "My captain Selina, prefect Kurumi, Ronnie, Ariadne, Alexa.. and getting to know some from our quidditch team. Ok so maybe not as many as you know.. but still.. none of them are troublemakers... well maybe a couple on the team but thats it" ok maybe a little more than a couple but they werent a house of trouble makers were they? He was sure they werent! Did she just tell him he had it wrong? he listened as she talked and soon she had his full attention "Y.. you did all of that? W..well why didnt they have anything like that this year!? I would have enjoyed that... the.. the racing and the.. the dragon!! oh I have always wanted to see a dragon!! Did you touch it?" he asked eagerly now as he talked about the dragon that had hatched right here in Hogwarts. "Oh I dont.. misbehave.. just.. doing things so that I am not bored" he said trying to explain why he did what he did.

He watched as she rolled around on the ground still laughing "Well I am glad you are having fun cause that's the bestest! To have fun! though I am still sure that someone did! I would be careful if I were you" yes with all the potions brewing one could never be too sure of how safe their drinks were. He watched her sit up and grinned from ear to ear as she called him cool "I am cool! Thank you for noticing! You arent so bad yourself, with a little training you will be like me in no time at all" he chuckled as she continued to laugh. He thought about what he had liked about the school.. well there were a few things "Well.. we made rockets in Astronomy, that older puff.. er... Elijah.. he blew up his rocket which was totally awesome! Then we made that potion and changed that bag into a top" which he never did succeed at but that didnt matter "OH! Wearing my costume" he said patting the lion head "Aanndd quidditch. Well thats alot more than I thought it was. What do you like about this school?" he asked her back wondering what the older ones liked about the school they had been in for many years.

Minerva listened to DJ snickering at his babbling about his house. "It's okay you will learn. I am not going to be tricked by a kid. I know who your trouble makers are." she eyed him, knowing he might become one of them. She smirked knowing it would be fun to watch him be that person. He seemed fun, but as long as she was just watching and not getting into trouble with him. "Well each term is different and we have a difference care of magical creatures professor, so she will have different things." Minerva then smiled, touched the dragon, "Yes we got to walk it and stuff, it was fun. Plus I had to save it from Professor Lafay once." That memory would never go away.

Minerva stood up and brushed off her pants, "Me.. like you.. oh no no kid. I will not be a trouble maker. I have my own ways of doing things, thank you." she laughed. Looking at him naming things he liked she couldnt' help but laugh, for someone who wasn't thinking professors were fun had fun in the classes. "See classes aren't that bed, are they." she smirked. Then she laughed, "Well I'm glad your enjoying school, Hogwarts is wonderful." She did love this school and it was more home then home anymore.

Dylan frowned a little "I am not a kid.. and I don't trick people.. they might end up tricking themselves. Well I am not one of them.." he wanted to add 'yet' but decided against it the moment she eyed him. She really did think that he was going to become a trouble maker didnt she? well maybe he might prove her right just for the fun of it. He listened as she talked about how each term was different "Well I dont want different things I want all the things you just said. Dragons, swimming in the lake and stuff!" if only they could hatch another egg and they could touch the dragon like she had done too. His eyes went wide once more "You got to walk it? like a dog? Oh man and I missed that." why did it seem to him that the previous term had been more fun. Boring professors thats why

He watched her stand up and brush herself down "What ways are those? I bet they arent as good as how we get things done." he knew that those were probably boring ways of having things done but it was no harm in listening to the other ways of doing things. He heard her laugh again but this time he smiled a little as she laughed cause he realised that it was because of him that she was laughing, he then stopped smiling as she talked "Ok.. ok so some arent bad, but others are just boring. I mean look at Herbology there are lots of dangerous plants out there and she has us looking at herbs and things." he said as he tried to get her to see his point of view as to why some were boring. He smiled a little again "So you are enjoying all these boring classes making you research herbs out of a book and.. and make you do yoga" instead of waving that want about in DADA. Why werent they being taught spells in some of the classes like DADA.

Minerva just listened to the boy, he was so a kid, but she wasn't going to fight him over it, not now. He was so excitable, was she like this her first term she wondered. Maybe, everything was so new and she was so nervous, first term seemed like a blur. Then she smiled, "Well maybe you will get to see a dragon before your seventh year, you never know. Give the classes a chance, you might find the ones you really like." she tried to encourage the young one.

Minerva shook her head, "My way is doing things by the rules, not going around trying to find ways to get points taken, or possibly get myself in detention." she eyed him, yes speaking of that sign mister. She then shrugged, "I don't look at classes to be fun, they should be for learning, and yes learning can be fun, but what you need to get out of class is learning how to be a good wizard. So if your learning then you can have your fun outside of the classroom." She then pointed her wand at his lion head, "Colovaria" Then lion head turned to bright purple. "Like that" she crossed her arms and laughed, see fun outside of the classroom can be the best way she thought.

His eyes went wide at the thought of him getting to see a dragon "Yeah! you really think so? That would be so cool!" he frowned a little "Hmm.. give the classes a chance..." he thought about it.. he sighed.. "Fine! I will give them a chance.. but only cause I wanna see a dragon.. or go for a swim in the lake or whatever other cool thing you have done while at this school" he couldnt believe he actually agreed to go to the classes that he seemed to dislike. Well that yoga class was definitely still on his dislike list unless there were some cool spells or something that changed his mind.

Dylan frowned a little "Rules? rules are boring!.. they are meant to be broken... well.." he looked around to make sure no-one was listening to them "Well come of them anyways" he chuckled a little as she shrugged before she had his attention on having fun outside of class cause thats what he was about, to have fun was what he was after and she was now talking his language. He watched as she pointed her wand at his lion head.. and then he went wide-eyed at what she had done to his lion head. He rubbed the lion to see if he could get the purple color off but he couldnt "Hey you change that back right now!" he then pointed his wand at her "Colo.. colo... colo.. whatever it was. You change it back to what it used to be right now. Or I will colo.. whatnot your hair or something!" he said his wand pointed at her.. hand shaking a little.. not knowing what he was doing of course.

Minerva rolled her eyes at him, 'Oh you have so much to learn, but you will be fine. Just pay attention in class, so then you can learn some cool things and not think it's boring anymore." She looked at him with a smirk. "I could have you go for a swim in the lake right now if you want." she had a smile on her face and walked towards him like she was going to drag him to the lake.
