A stone square courtyard is the first aspect of the grounds that you come to after you travel through the corridor. Surrounded by magnificent stone columns adorned with luscious ivy and slight lily growth, the courtyard provides students with benches to sit on with their friends or for the one who just wishes for some peace and quiet. Also, in the middle stands a very illustrious Wishing Fountain.

Oliver was trotting around the corridor to the courtyard when suddenly, he saw a little gray mousie go by. "Meow!"
Oliver ran after it. He was gonna get this mousie, he knew it! He was an excellent hunter. He really was, and he was very proud of it. He killed basically ANYTHING he caught! And he was not gonna let this mousie get away, noooo way! He ran after the mouse to the entrance of the courtyard and pounced on it, watching as it squirmed underneath his paws. "Meowwww!" he mewed, tearing at it with his claws.

"Ronnie, How did the cat get away from you?"
"That way?" Ronnie asked, looking at where he pointed. "C'mon!" she said, grabbing his hand and running towards where he had pointed. She needed to find her baby!
"Oh, well...lately he's been acting strange. He keeps randomly running off a lot." she explained, shaking her head as she contiuned to look for Oliver. "I have no idea what's gotten into hi- EWWW!" she shrieked, looking at a dead mouse in front of her. She looked at the kitten sitting behind it, looking quite proud of himself. Well, that's what it looked like to her, anyways. She put her hands on her hips and shook her head. "Oliver! Gross! Did you do this?!" she asked, picking him up. "Don't you ever run away again!" she said.
She then turned to Nigel. "Well, I found him." she said with a sigh. She glanced at the dead mouse then back at Nigel. "I think he did that.." she said, pointing at the mouse with her free arm. EWW.
Tay raised an eyebrow, "A purring cat? I am scared then." She laughed and smiled at him, kissing him lightly.
"Yes, I swear to you, I thought she was about to strangle Anna, but she forced herself to leave and make supper... It's something that was interesting to see... but I'd be fine never seeing it again." Damon laughed, kissing her back.

Tay smiled and cuddled into him, "I wouldn't wanna see it." Taylor stroked his cheek and hair.

Damon smiled at her, "That doesn't surprise me." He chuckled but lightly took her hand in his, pulling her slightly closer to him, "But how're you feeling lately?"

Tay sighed, "Confused but okay I guess..." Taylor sighed, "What about you, Damon?"
Tay sighed, "Confused but okay I guess..." Taylor sighed, "What about you, Damon?"
"Make a very long story short, this week has been filled with ups and downs." Damon smiled, "But it's actually on a high up to be talking to you again," He squeezed her hand lightly, "But why confused?" He asked looking down at her.
Tay smiled at him, "Glad that I am an up." She laughed and squeezed his hand in return. Taylor glanced away, "Just... a conflict..."
In other words it's about me liking Ariana... He didn't voice the fact he knew had to be true, "I'm sorry to hear that, Tay..." He said quietly instead, not wanting them to start fighting again already.
Tay glanced away and sighed, knowing that he probably knew. She scooted over and pulled her legs up. Taylor laid her chin on her knees. "Damon... I am sorry, okay?"

"Taylor you have nothing to be sorry for..." Damon looked at her, sighing as he laid down again, laying his arms under his head as a pillow, "I just... I'm sorry that when she started to actually be here for me, and you acting the way you were at the time..." He sighed, "I'm an idiot, I know I am..."
Taylor tried to keep her whimper in but it sneaked out, "It is all my fault." She rapidly stood up, looking around for the nearest exit. Her tears were blurring her vision.

Damon quickly stood with her, "Taylor, it's not your fault... It's mine..." He went to her wiping away the tears, "Please... I should've been able to tell someone was making you act the way you were. This is my fault for being weak and giving up... not yours."

Laura sighed. "First year I was voted most likely to break out of Azkaban, I'm not that bad, then last time I accidently destroyed a Professors door and now everyone is thinking that I'm soft and things like that." Laura sighed. "Have you read the Aparecium?" Laura really didn't like how people where saying she was going soft.
Laura started to calm down, but she still continued to hug her twin. "If you say so twinnie." Laura gave her twin a small smile, the first time, she had smiled with her sister for ages, probably before they came to Hogwarts. "I can't believe how far we have grown apart." Laura sighed. "I miss you so much though." Laura sighed, she really had missed her sister. "I try not to lie ever, it's naughty of you to lie." Laura blushed, she had lied a few times but not much. "Do you promise we will stick together no matter what?" Laura gave her sister a smile, she couldn't believe her ears. "It's been ages since you said something like that." Laura grabbed her sister into a big bear hug. "I love you twinnie." Laura smiled.
Lana was glad that her sister was a bit more calmer now. She knew just how hard it was for herself to calm down after being so wound up. Of course, she had never been through what Laura had; but she had a slight idea about it. "No worries, now let's talk this out." She didn't blame her sister for snapping, but she wasn't going to let her just snap at her for things that were out of her control. Lana's eyes got big as she listened to what Laura told her. "Well, to be honest and all; I think you are most likely to break out of that place. But it's not like you will ever be sent there." Superlatives were just in fun after all, it wasn't like they would come true. "Oh, the door incident again," she nodded. That was something that she did want to forget like a bad dream. "The Aparecium? You know I don't believe anything in that thing," she replied with a flap of her hand. "The thought of you going soft is ridiculous. I really don't think it's wise for them to underestimate you. So what if this other 'puff is making a huge fuss right now? Let her get in trouble and you just keep on doing whatever you do." Lana wasn't at all condoning Laura to make trouble, but with all the attention not on Laura; there was opportunity for others to get away with lots of things.
Lana gave her sister another pat on the back and smiled. "I know it's hard to think about just how distance we are, but we are growing up and mummy did warn us about this happening." It wasn't like they planned to be like this when they first got their letters, but they were just growing up differently now. "I miss you too, but we have to remember that we are still family." Blood was thicker than water and at the end of the school year, they would still be returning home together. "I never intend on being a liar," she replied as she returned the hug. "Cross my heart," she added. "We will stick together, but don't expect me to take the fall if things go bad." She would stand by her twin, but she was not going to get in trouble for her. No, she was the good twin and she wanted to keep it that way. "I love you too twinnie," she grinned as she pulled away and glanced again toward the pitch. "Why aren't you out there with the others trying out?" It was kind of strange to her to have both of them not at a team try-out.

She supposed seeing other people in the bunny costume would do that to a person.
Melanie lowered her camera. "So where do we start?" Melanie asked, looking around the grounds. Did they just walk up to someone now and see if they got frightened...? Or should they head to the kitchens and get some carrots first?
Goodie. Melanie took the picture of him and asked him where to start. Once regaining good balance of himself Tag had to turn his full body to get a good look of the courtyard. Ahh, yes! Perfect. Who Melanie and Tag had planned on scaring had actually shown up, uninvited to the courtyard. Perfect! Tag pointed in Landon's direction. "Landon! We said we'd scare him and what better timing then now? All right, so you just go up to him, talk to him and distract him and I'll scare him from behind." Tag told her with a nod and a big smirk.

Laura looked at her sister, "You think I could break out of Azkaban?" Laura smiled. "I must be a genius then." Laura was suddenly thinking of all the good thing she could do with this genius of a brain that she was sitting on, if she used it for work instead of mischieve what could she achieve. "I'm glad you don't believe it." Laura hugged her sister. "Because I'm not going soft and I ain't as bad as people say I am." Laura promised her sister. "If I was that bad mummy and daddy would tell me off." Laura sighed.
Laura looked at her sister and smiled again. "I'm glad we will always be together, I thought I was losing you because I haven't seen you much even at home this summer we didn't speak much." Laura sighed, she really missed her twin sister so much. "I'm glad we are talking again." Laura hugged her twin sister. "And I promise I'll do my best to work hard and stay out of trouble for the rest of this term." Since she had been in trouble for the water balloon incident on the fourth floor she had realised she was now a third year and that her owls where coming up fast on her, so she had to make sure she worked hard. "I didn't feel like it." Laura didn't fancy going on a broom at the minute, she was too upset.
Tay sighed and looked up at him, "I dont know..." Taylor glanced away and her eyes were starting to dim.
Damon looked at her, "Mon amour... Please, I want to help you... It hurts to see you like this." He moved slightly closer to her, still not touching her, not wanting to be pushed away away again.

Taylor looked at him and snapped, "Dont you dare call me that!" She snarled and rubbed her arms, scooting away.
Landon mentally smacked his head and laughed. "Sorry about that. I've been forgetting people's names lately. Probably due to how many new people I've been meeting recently." He nodded, chewing on an oreo. Oh right. He was probably being rude not asking if Damon wanted any.
"Did you want an oreo?" He asked. He wasn't one to really ever give up his oreo to a person, but maybe Damon would like one. And if not, more for him. "I've been great. I love Hogwarts so far." He grinned. "What about you?"

Melanie looked at where Tag had turned. She was surprised to see that their target had basically just approached them. Well, not really, he was conversing with someone else but Tag and Melanie had plans and they needed to carry them out now. Hearing the younger Gryffindor's instructions, Melanie nodded her head, glancing at him with a grin. "Yes, sir!" Melanie said, giving him a little salute before approaching her best friend.
She walked slowly towards him - she wasn't sure why, but she did. Maybe it was to seem more natural? Maybe she should've worn all black and been a spy like she had planned over the summer. No time for that now. But Landon was busy talking to someone. Would it be rude to interrupt the conversation?
No. There were plans that needed to be carried out. "Hello Pobby!" Melanie exclaimed, beaming at him before smiling politely at the other person Landon had been talking to.
She wasn't being awkward at all.
"And hi to you too!" Melanie added, smiling at the other person and giving waving hello. "Isn't it a wonderful day today?" Melanie added. Because she wasn't sure how long she needed to distract Pobby in the first place.

Tay stood up as well, "I shalln't be your 'mon amour' until I am the only girl on your mind. I will not let you do what you did to Mins to me!" She crossed her arms.
