Laura sat up and looked at Minerva. "I'm sorry it's just I'm really upset." Laura really wished that Minerva would come and sit next to her, since she really wanted a hug from one of her friends and since her besties weren't around well Minerva would have to do. "You can stay Minerva." Laura hadn't meant to upset her friend, she was really upset but she didn't want to make Minerva upset either. "It's not your fault Minerva."

Minerva gave Laura a weak smile. She then walked over and sat on the bed. "Laura don't let the troll Elliot and the jerk face Maxwell ruin your birthday. I am really sorry." She hugged her friend hoping to help make her feel better.

Laura looked at Minerva and hugged her back. "I feel a bit better now." Laura suddenly realised what she needed. "I was going to share this at the party but because of what happened I forgot." Laura took out a chocolate fudge cake, that was already cut up into pieces. "Here you go Minerva." Laura gave a huge smiled as she bit into the piece she had got for herself.

Minerva smiled glad she was feeling a bit better. Then she looked at the chocolate cake and she couldn't help but smile. She loved chocolate it always made everything better. Well in her book at least it did, but then she frowned, "I hate that Maxwell did that.. He is such a stupid boy. He deserves to be with a jerk like Elliot." she grumbled. "I feel like that was my fault if I wouldn't have wanted Ethan to stay then.. well he wouldn't have caught on to my little crush." she sighed, that was most likely ruined now as well.

Laura looked at Minerva and smiled. "Let's just forget him okay." Laura nudged her friend. "And don't worry about your crush, I have a crush on someone and well truth be told I think that you and Ethan would be good together." Laura was really sure that Ethan wouldn't mind someone having a crush on him and if he liked Minerva then well she was sure Ethan wouldn't care if anyone said anything to him. "He's just like Elliot, they are both annoying." Laura sighed. "Though Elliot's mother and sister are nice."

Carigan skipped her way into the girls dormitory and and dropped her books on top of her trunk and flopped down onto her bed. Thus far she had stayed away from drama and everything all term and spent most of her time in the library studying or reading quietly (and being quiet was a true feat for her). Her mother had been owling her the potion for her headaches, they had found bottles strong enough to withstand the distance.

"Hey Laura! Long time no talk..." SHe said smiling at her best friend.

Laura looked up when someone spoke her name, she recognise that voice, "Hello stranger." Laura giggled, she was glad one of her three besties had finally turned up. "Where have you been hiding since the train?" Yeah that's right miss-I-have-a-huge-crush-on-nate spill the beans. "You been with you-know-who?" Laura giggled as she looked straight at Carigan.

Minerva took a bite of the cake, "MMMM that's really good." she smiled at her friend and then laughed as she was nudged, "Sounds great to me, if I never see or speak to that boy again I will be very happy." She then felt her face blush when Laura said she would look good with Ethan, "Well thanks, but I don't think he likes me like that. I..I for some reason keep liking these boys that would never like me back, like someone else, or are just to much older." she giggled at this then raised an eyebrow to Laura's crush comment.."You have a crush, on who.. if you don't mind me asking?" she giggled hoping her friend wouldn't mind.

Minerva then looked up when she heard another girl, not sure who the girl was Minerva smiled, "Hello, I'm Minnie." It was always nice to introduce when meeting someone and Minerva loved to meet knew people.

Carigan scowled at Laura "No I have NOT." she said before laughing. She hadn't seen Nate almost at all accept in passing.

She then looked to Minnie "Haha I know you Minnie, but I guess you don't know me. I'm Carigan!"

Laura looked at Minerva. "It is." Laura giggled as she bit into her piece of cake." Laura smiled at Minerva then she started to blush. "I eh...I eh have a crush on this Ravenclaw called Nigel." Laura sighed, she didn't think it was forever, she was sure it was just a small school girl crush

Laura looked at Carigan and giggled. "I knew that would make you bite." Laura took out some more chocolate fudge cake and walked over to Carigan and handed her it. "I've missed you." Laura sighed. "We should do something together soon."

Minerva looked at Laura and smiled, "Well I know Nigel and he seems super nice." Yes, she had partnered with him in a class before. "It's good to see you smile, but I am sorry you didn't get to spend more time with him. I know how it feels to crush on people and then never feel like you ever see them or if you do that you don't get to spend time with them." Yup that's exactly how she felt about a few of her crushes this term. So she could relate to Laura completely on that one.

Minerva frowned towards Carigan " I'm sorry, I probably do know you. It's just been a long term so far. I have been so off on everything lately." she hated when she felt she didn't remember something. She needed to focus better. "Sit with us, have some cake." Minerva offered. Then she giggled a bit, "We are just talking about cute boys and stuff."

Carigan took the piece of cake from Laura and she sat up on the edge of her bed. We should totally do something. I've been bogged down with homework and stuff..." she said, suddenly one of her headaches started again. She laid down the cake and went to her bedside table and picked up the little box she'd received that morning and pulled out a little vial. Pulling the stopper she downed the contents and felt her headache slowly creep its way from her head.

Now, back tot he cake.

"It's okay Minnie, it's been a long year for me too, and a long summer." She smiled "Boys?"

Laura looked at Minerva and then had a wicked idea. "Minerva if you could kiss one boy in this school who would it be?" Laura hoped that Minerva wouldn't be mad with her for having a bit of fun. "Oh and Carigan I think I know which boy you want to kiss right, am I right?" Laura giggled as she looked at her bestie Carigan.

Minerva smiled at Carigan and couldn't help but laugh a bit, "Yes boys??Is that okay?" She then turned back to Laura and her piece of Chocolate cake. She had just taken a bite of her cake when Laura began to speak again. **CHOKE** **CHOKE** "Umm.. sorry, must...have...went..the.. wrong.. way" Minerva tried to catch her breath. Did Laura just ask her who she would kiss. She felt her cheeks get really really red. Well let's see she had two crushes at the moment, which one would she want to kiss more. "Oh Laura, I don't know." she tried to push it off not wanting to really answer. "Who would you?" Yes, turn this around on her. That sounds like a good idea.

Carigan blushed "I don't know LAura DO you? Who would YOU wanna kiss?"

Minerva was almost ready for bed. She had put her favorite purple puppy pj's on and then brushed her hair out. She crawled into bed and opened one of her books to read for a bit. After reading for awhile Minerva placed her book on the night table next to her bed. She then made sure her dream journal was near her for morning. She knew that Professor Lafay said they would remember their dreams with this potion, but she wanted to make sure to write it down as soon as she woke up, because she didn't want to screw up her homework.

Once she knew she had a quill and her journal sitting where she could reach it in the morning. She pulled out the little vial from potions class. Looking at it she remembered some of the ingredients they had used and just hoped it would not harm her in anyway. Was this safe to drink? It had to be or professor Lafay wouldn't have given it to them, right? She had an uneasy feeling that maybe she wasn't sure on this answer. Trying to push it out of her mind, Minerva opened the vial and drank the potion. Putting the empty vial on the night table she laid her head on her pillow and wrapped her covers around her to hopefully have a nice sleep with a nice dream.

Carigan heaved a heavy sigh of relief as she burst through the door of the girls dormitory. Laden down with heavy textbooks and her school bag she walked slowly and leaning awkwardly to the side. She dropped her books onto her bed and then placed them neatly between the bookends on her night table. she then opened her school bag and pulled out her piles of finished homework that she had done at the library all evening after dinner (she left the unfinished homework in her bag).

Now, to get at her potions homework. She reached into her robe pocket and pulled ut the tiny glass vial and held it up to the light to get a better look at it. Clear as water. Her potion had turned out alright, thanks to her inherited potion-brewing abilities, so she hadn't bothered to take the potion the professor had brewed but instead taken her own. If anyone should test this potion it should be her.

Carigan placed the vial gently on the table and rummaged through her trunk to retrieve her diary. She placed it on the bedside table and then went back to her trunk to fetch something to write with. She found a muggle fountain pen in her stationary box. She figured the free flowing ink of the pen would be better when writing down her dreams then having to constantly dip her quill into an inkwell.

Once all of her dream recording tools were ready she stripped off her dirty clothes and put on a clean set of pajamas. An obnoxious orange with pink trim. Pulling back the covers on her bed she slipped herself into bed and tucked herself in. She reached over to the night stand and grabbed the potion. Pulling the stopper she tipped her head back and down the potion. She just hoped that the potion didn't conflict with the potion she took for her headaches.

She laid back and closed her eyes, feeling the relief on her feet and legs for now laying down instead of standing up like she was all day. SHe watched the colours behind her eyelids and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Ella entered the dormitories and threw her bag down on the floor before plopping on to her bed face first. She was exhausted, having just returned from the library after the longest day of homework EVER. She let out a small sigh before turning over and inching her way up the bed, stopping when her head landed on her pillow. Yesssss. This felt nice. Relaxi-taxi time for sure. BEAM.

Laura walked into the girls dorm and saw ELLA!!!!!!!!! Laura slowly walked upto Ella and started poking her. "This is no time for sleeping." Laura really wanted to know why Ella had avoided her for ages, well it seemed like ages but in fact it probably wasn't long. "I want to talk about me and my gorgeous self." Laura giggled, you she was finding out now that she looked grand.

SILENCE AT LASSSSST. Ella smiled to herself, letting her eyes close. Hey! Maybe she could get a nap in before going to meet Harvey! That would be nice. Beam. Beam. Be-

Ella's eyes opened slowly and she frowned, wondering WHO would be poking her. "Laura...can't a girl nap around here?" Squirm. Apparently not. Sitting up, the third year scooted over and raised an eyebrow at her friend. Gorgeous self? That was...different. "I um...alright, what do you want to talk about?"

Laura looked at Ella and smiled. "Not when the've been hiding from me for ages." Laura pouted, yeah that was right Ella, you hadn't even been in the dorm much and Laura didn't like it.

Laura looked at Ella. "Myself, since I'm a super-model." Laura giggled. "I'm the best looking girl ever." Laura was really sure she was, well she was going to tell people she was because she was sure she was good lucking but boys didn't so she was going to say she was.

Ella looked at Laura and frowned, shaking her head. "I haven't been hiding anywhere. I'm been in classes and at Quidditch same as you. Sure I've been hanging out with Harvey a bit but not any more than I used to when we were just friends." So the third year was a bit confused as to where all this was coming from.

A super model? Ella was seriously confused. "You're a super model now? I um...when did this happen?" Blink. Blink. This was certainly a side of Laura Ella hadn't seen before. She was being almost...egotistical. "Laura it's always nice to have confidence but um...what's up with you?"

Laura sat down on her friends bed. "I know." Laura pouted. "It's just..." Laura stopped for a couple of minutes. "It's just that we don't seem to spend a lot of time together with Sophie and Carigan." Yeah Laura missed the midnight snacks and the pillow fights that they used to have together.

Laura looked at Ella and giggled. "I decided I was last night." Laura smiled, yeah she could do that right, she looked at her Bestie and gave her a hug before looking away from her friend.

She looked back after a few minutes and probably for the third time in her life she looked serious. "Well Oakey says I'm ugly and stuff." Laura pouted. "And then Lucas says I'm good looking and stuff." Laura sighed. "And I'm really confused." Laura really was.

Ella watched as Laura thought about what she wanted to say, wondering what her friend was thinking. "It's just..." Just what? ...Oh. Ella frowned and nodded her head in understanding, totally getting what Laura meant. "Yeah, I know. I guess we've all been really busy doing school stuff and we're pretty tired at the end of the day. It'll happen though, hanging out. I'm sure of it." And she gave her friend a small reassuring smile.

"Oh...interesting." Ella said quietly, before returning her head. Maybe that was Laura's new dream job or something...interesting.

"Laura..." Sigh. "You and Oakey are always saying stuff to hurt each other because you're both upset. I doubt he means that...you're not ugly." And Oakey wasn't normally a bad guy, he was just hurt or something. "And as for Lucas...I dunno. You're not ugly though. So I guess I wouldn't worry too much about that."

Laura looked at Ella and sighed. "I know and were getting older and will be doing our OWLS in a few year." Yeah that is what everyone was telling her, they were all growing up, Laura loved growing up but if it meant that you didn't get to spend time with her Bestie she wasn't happy, they were suppost to be the fantastic four and friends for life but well they hadn't met up at all this year.

Laura didn't know if to believe Ella or not but she was going to wait and see and hope they did. "I know we are." Laura sighed. "I know I'm not." Laura gave her friend a big hug. "I love your talks you make me feel all better Ella." Laura smiled. "I'm sure your going to be a prefect or something important when were older." Laura nudged Ella. "I'm sorry if I've been a pain." Laura smiled. "And Ella your Beautiful too." Laura was being truthful there.
