"Yeah...growing up is...different." It wasn't all bad, though. Some parts were really nice. Like boyfriends and more freedom and learning new things. The not having as much free time stuff, that was the hard part. "Maybe we can all do something soon, even if it's just studying together."

Ella hugged Laura back, a small smile on her face. "Well...I'm just glad I can help. I hate seeing people upset, especially friends." And that was the truth, plain and simple. She shrugged her shoulders and grinned as Laura said she might be prefect some day. "I...that would be brilliant but I'm not so sure...thanks, though." She turned a bit pink at the beautiful comment, raising her eyebrows. "Me? I um...thanks, Laura."

When Carigan awoke she was glistening with sweat and hyperventilating. What had she just seen? Her dream was... its was... too real. Too real and terrifying. She shuddered to herself and looked around the room to make sure whe was indeed back in her dormitory at Hogwarts. She saw Ella and Laura.

Belle decided to go back in the common room after studying a while for her classes. Belle noticed Laura and Ella in the common. She gave them a friendly wave and then she noticed another puff she did not quite get the chance to know. She was a friend of Ella's and Laura's. Maybe she should try to get to know her yeah?

Belle made her way to Ella and Laura and asked them, "Hey guys how are your days going?" she smiled at the new puff but she looked like she was in distress. Belle asked her, "Hi is there anything wrong?" she looked like she was sweating.

Another girl came into the dormitory and asked her how she was. Carigan broke down into tears and clutched her knees to her chest. She was still in her pajamas. How long had she been asleep?

Laura was about to reply to Ella when suddenly Carigan broke into tears. "Carigan." Laura walked upto one of her bestie and started to hug her. "It's okay." Laura had never seen one of her friends this upset. "What's wrong?" Laura really wanted to find out, though she thought she had an idea, but she couldn't tell anyone.

Laura turned to Elliot. "What should we do?" Laura sighed, she was really worried. "Should we get a Professor?" Laura didn't know if they should or try and find out on their own.

Carigan couldn't speak, it was as if she had something caught in her throat. Without saying a word she pointed to the empty vial on her bedside table, the one from the potions assignment.

She flung her arms around Laura and sobbed into her shoulder. She wasn't exactly sure why she was so freaked out by the dream. It was just far too real.

It happened so suddenly, and quietly, but it happened all the same: the students who had been hanging out in the Hufflepuff girls' dorms suddenly found themselves pushed out of their dorms, shoved out of their beds, rolled out of their common room, and generally ejected from their House's private area.

An unseen force repelled all Hufflepuff students from the Common Room and attached areas and locked all entrances and exits to the rooms. The Common Room was officially locked and sealed.

Laura had decided that she needed a few quiet minutes to herself, she was soooo confused at the minute, she was looking at the wall that at the beginning of her last year she had painted with Minerva, and then there was the time she had accidently blown off Professor Romanos door, which had been an accident but it was still funny, and then going back further than that, in her first year she had turned a table into flowers but this term, she was working, was she growing up, would she ever have fun again, she didn't know and it was really confusing her, she was a teenager now, not a little child anymore so she had to act more grown-up right and this was the start of her acting more grown up right.

Laura sat on her bed, looking around the room, she was coming upto the end of her third year at Hogwarts, in two years she would be doing owls, and in four years she would be doing NEWT's so she did have a lot of work coming up, well at least she wasn't as bad as Belle who would be doing her NEWT's next year, which was making Laura a bit sad to think in just over a years time she would be saying goodbye to one of her friends.

Minerva was thrilled to be back in her dorm. She was headed to her room to get one of her cokes out of her trunk when she noticed the third year light on. Wondering if Laura was in there Minerva decided to check it out. She slowly walked in and half smiled when she saw the girl at her bed. "Maybe I should change your hair to a nice Hufflepuff mohawk, yes maybe that could even the score for the pie." She had a friendly grin on her face to show Laura she wasn't mad at her just a little annoyed. "What on earth were you thinking throwing a pie at me, and where the heck did the pie come from?"

She went over and sat on the bed next to Laura, "What has gotten into you this term. First you want to be super good, do no wrong, then you get detention, then you are in class working hard, next your acting nuts, acting like I was lying, and throw a pie in my face. What is going on in that head of yours Laura?" She asked her friend a bit concerned, but at the same time knowing it was Laura so the best way to know whats going on is to not know.

Laura looked at Minerva and sighed, her friend was really mad with her wasn't she it had just been a laugh, she was sure Minerva could take a laugh, but obviously she had been wrong but well she wasn't going to say anything. "I don't know I was confused and just decided to throw the pie." Laura sighed, "It had been in my bag for a few hours I had forgot it was in there until I openned it up."

Laura listened to Minerva, she was really upset. "I don't know, but I would like to point out that the detention wasn't my fault someone broke my wand so I called them a coward and got detention." Laura sighed, also she had no idea why she had pied her friend. "I wish I knew what was going on in my head, it's like there is a battle happening at the minute." Laura was crying now. "I am sorry you know."

Minerva listened to Laura and felt bad for her friend, "Don't worry about it Laura, it's really not that big of a deal. I was shocked and irritated to get pie on me, but it's over no harm done." She tried to smile at her friend. "What's the fight in your head about, classes, homework, Mick?" She wanted to help Laura if she could.

Looking around the room Min tried to be positive, "You know you have done great in classes this term. I've been pretty proud of you. So different then first term. When I sat down kind of like this and tried to explain the points to you and offered to go with you to Hadley's office. Remember that?" It seemed so long ago even though it was only two terms.

Laura looked at Minerva and gave a small smile. "I am sorry though." Laura sighed. "I shouldn't have done it." Laura had just had the bright idea and thought it would have been fun but obviously Minerva didn't want to have fun.

Laura gave a small sighed as Minerva asked her what the fight was that was going on in her head. "It's hard to describe." Laura really thought that it was hard. "I think it's a mixture of all that, I want to make people proud of me but I've been mischieves all my life, so it's really hard to change, and then there's Mick who's a Ravenclaw so wouldn't want a girl that misbehaves all the time." Laura looked down at the floor.

Laura listened and looked at her friend, well she hoped she was still her friend. "I've been thinking about things since I came in her, the wall, the ducks, even further back, the hugging of the charms Professor." Laura really could remember that. "And of course how I meet all my friends." Laura could remember everything. "It's ages ago now though." Laura didn't like growing up.

Minerva couldn't help but smile a little, "Your thinking to much Laura. Your still the same Laura, just like to actually go to classes and do studying. That's all that is different. Your still being silly and doing silly things." Then she turned her head when she said about Mick, "Laura we are talking about the same Mick.. The Mick who dressed up, danced, and sung for you at the match? I think he will enjoy your silly ways. He seems to have many of his own. Actually I really think you two are great for each other." She was telling the truth on that one, she really did think those two were made for each other.

Laughing she shook her head, "You hugging Schirmer was pricesless. I wasn't sure you would be seen again after that charms class. You lost so many points." Minerva giggled at it now, but she remembered being so annoyed when it happened. "Oh it wasn't that long ago, and look how much fun we can have every term." She was trying her hardest to cheer her friend up, but didn't know if it was working.

Laura looked at her friend and gave her a small hug. "Maybe I am thinking too much but I never thought I would see the day when I would actually look forwards to going to class." Laura really didn't think she would see that day but it obviously had come because she was enjoying going to the classes.

"That is true." Laura smiled, "I didn't think about that." Laura suddenly blushed. "You know I've never had anyone do anything like that for me and it was awesome, it's just a shame that he had to see me fighting with that boy who was suppost to be my teammate." Laura sighed.

"I just thought that Professor Schirmer needed a hug, she seemed to be down after I told her that to stop a spell you just stand on the wand, which at the time I thought was true." Laura giggled, she thought that answer was priceless and she thought the Professor wouldn't have minded but she seemed to get really angry so Laura had hugged the Professor to make things better.

Carigan had, once again for this year, secluded herself in order to study. Along with all of her bad dreams, the headaches, and the even more challenging material in her classes school was getting harder for her. That didn't even include everything weird happening throughout the school either!

She walked intot he girls dormitory and flopped herself down onto her bed and stared at the ceiling, her red hair fanned out around her.
