Just beyond the gigantic Christmas Tree, which is the center piece to the Great Hall, sits the most peculiar part of the holiday celebration- an enormous, life-sized Gingerbread house. It towers off to the side of the great hall and is filled with more than just gumdrops and icing. Inside the two floors of the gingerbread house are numerous fun little things to do that will really get you in the spirit of the season.
On the first floor explore the icing-laced walls of the living room and take a seat in one of the squishy, form-fitting jello chairs. They are charmed to bounce when you sit in them, so take a seat and try one out. Just beyond the room of gelatin seats is a seemingly empty room, but look at the walls and you will see that not everything is as it seems. The wall is covered in candy wall paper. Walk over to the wallpaper and lick the walls to taste all of the yummy goodness that the house has to offer. The wallpaper ranges from strawberry to boogie flavored Bertie Bott's Every Flavored Beans. You never know WHAT you are going to get.
Walk up the chocolate stairs to the second floor to find MORE delicious surprises. On the second floor their is one gigantic room that makes up the whole floor. In that room is the most magically delicious room of them all... a room entirely comprised of edible furniture. So take a bite out of the table- we dare you.
Tay smiled and kissed his cheek, "You are amazing, ya know?" She stroked his cheek then went back to playing with his hair, "We should ride our horses together soon."
Damon kissed her forehead in return with a small smile, "But your so much more amazing." He smiled, "And we can over the summer, or whenever we go home again."
Tay smiled at him, "That is a bit lie." She laughed, "Okay, that sounds good." Taylor leaned into him, "Wanna head out of here and go to the hot springs?"

UGH. What was this? He was actually flipping her off? He was ruining their supposed to be fun adventure, spoiling their enthusiasm!
She? She lick the wall instead of him?
Narrowing her eyes, she glared at the he-snake. I will make you lick that wall Gerald Rush, you'll see. "How rude of you Gerald.." *crossing arms* "..no, I am not going to lick the wall unless you have proven that it's safe for consumption." She had no plans on going to the Hospital Wing during Christmas season. Or maybe she could just blackmail Gary and tell him that she'd ask Dylan to kick him out of the Quidditch Team? Yeah...no. She wasn't using Dylan. Beezus huffed then her gaze settled on Juliet...she still couldn't figure out why the girl was oddly familiar.
...then an idea struck her...
"On second thought, I would lick the wall IF you," Yes, we are pointing at you Rush. "..agree to what I'll make you do afterwards." Hmmm? "Don't worry...it won't include licking." Nod, as she shot Juliet a furtive, devious glance.

So he and Juliet actually have the same thought in mind.... or... err... not but if he looks just as terrified as Juliet with what Beezus had said then it must be that they bought thought of the same thing right? Then again, maybe not. Teehee...
Juliet just stood there, neither wanting to join in with the argue nor wants to lick the wall. One would look really creepy and at the same time crazy to lick those walls and if Gary has brains that works he WILL NOT lick the wall even if Beezus is forcing him to do so. Juliet never would lick those walls. EVER. Her mother will cut off her tongue if ever that happened.
IDEA!
She sort of raised her hand enough for the two to see and maybe stop with the licking argument. "Why not try using your thumb?" she suggested. Press the thumb into the wall and then lick the thumb afterwards. Same results and none of the creepy stuff.
Sigh..
It's not only the problem about licking the candy wall. No! But the main problem is.. Gerald Rush never like something sweets, such as candies and chocolates. Well, licking the wall is also humiliating too. That's why he didn't want to do that.
Okay..
Now his mind was thinking how could he avoid this. Lying to them that he suffered diabetes again just what did he ever said to Zhenya before? No. None of them would believe that again. Allergic to sugar? That's very super NONSENSE. Think, Gerald Rush!! Think! How to avoid them!
"What if I don't want to lick it for you?" asked him again to Beezus. Stubborn.. Yes! She should know that he's a cold stubborn boy who never agreed about girl's idea. And speaking of idea. Suddenly Juliet, who just kept silent and watched him and Beezus debating about licking the wall finally spoke something.
IDEA!!
Well, her idea wasn't bad or good either. But at least it could avoid him to lick the wall. "Agreed." he nodded. "So, Beatrice. Why don't you press your thumb and lick it?" he suggested. But still, he still did not want to do that!

Kat had entered the Gingerbread House because she didn't wanna do her homework yet. She saw a lot of people. There's the Gryffs, and the Claw, and those... Puffers, and the awesomest housemates ever.
She spotted Gerald Rush, with Beezus and another Slytherin she hasn't quite known, Juliet, looking mischievous. Overhearing their conversation, Kat smirked. Gerald was going to lick the wall... The blonde looked at him. He was looking oddly at the wall.
"Well, Rush," Kat said. "Are you going to lick that wall or not?"

Well, that was interesting. She couldn't imagine kissing a guy when she knew he was taken. Then again she hadn't been in many relationships so she supposed the mistake could be made. The young comment made her a little curious though? How old was Sutton exactly? And had she tried to kiss Ed? Quickly she squashed the rising jealousy that threatened to throw away her good sense. Edmund was loyal to her and she had nothing to worry about.
"Well, it seems I did miss a lot. And I'm sorry that I wasn't there for you. I'm hoping it won't happen again." It probably wasn't fair to herself to feel this guilty but she did. Reaching a hand inside the pocket of her jacket she felt for the little wrapped box that was there. Butterflies took flight insider her stomach and she had to swallow some nerves before she found her voice.
Now or never Lockwood!
Nell stepped around in front of Edmund to halt his progress. Thankfully they were in a room by themselves so they wouldn't have an audience. "So, I realize that Christmas is a couple days away but I don't want to wait that long." Her hand grabbed the package within but she hesitated before bringing it out. "And...I don't want you to panic that you haven't gotten me anything. I'm not one of those girls that needs presents."
Her hand pulled a relatively small package out of her pocket and held it out for Edmund.
It was nice to hear her giggling after the couple of days of tension. He beamed at her for a moment until she spoke again. She practically confirmed that she felt guilty about not being around. "It's okay, you were focusing on your work." He winked at her, understanding being buried under work completely.
When she stepped in front of him, his expression went from confusion to surprise and then to guilt as she pulled a present from her pocket. He'd got her something, but never thought to carry it around with him - he was planning on giving to her closer to Christmas. But her re-assurance made him frown slightly. Did she think he didn't have anything at all? Quickly dismissing the thought and looking back to her with an intrigued smile, Ed took the present from her and before he did anything else, he hugged her tightly and gave her a kiss. "Thank you." His eyes focused on hers for a moment before he turned his attention back to the small box in his hands.

"Well, Rush," Kat said. "Are you going to lick that wall or not?"
Oh, her plan was surely going to work. It didn't have any loopholes. It was full-proof!
..EH? Juliet say what?
Beezus head snapped to the Slytherin girl who gave a suggestion. What? No! That kind of action would interfere with her plan! No, no! When she was done, Beezus sighed almost dramatically. For sure, Gary was going to bite that suggestion and then she won't have anything to use against him for blackmailing purposes. The Ravenclaw almost glared at Juliet, "Why did you have to say that?" she whined.
And expectations met, the apathetic Slytherin did say he agreed with his fellow snake. Moreover, he was still telling her that she should do the hard work. Just how ungentlemanly can this guy get?!
"So, Beatrice. Why don't you press your thumb and lick it?"
HMP. The brunette glared at the boy and snorted at Juliet. "All right! All right! You guys win...I'll do it!" she murmured. Just then, someone invited herself to their conversation and Beezus, with her temper already a bit on the verge sent the girl an eyeroll. "He won't be licking the wall anymore" Beezus nodded then turned to the two again.
"Okay, since you two are spoilsports, I'll do it.. BUT.." Of course there was a but. Who said they were getting the last laugh? "..you guys need to stand there," *pointpoint* "...beside each other, okay?" Not so hard to do now, right? So, go you two..walk off to that spot.
Beezus eyed the two, a slight raise of an eyebrow indicated that she was waiting for them to move.
♣ Heejin here | Did somebody say coffee & cakes? | cat lover ♣
Was that a glare? Was the Beezus girl glaring at her because of what she suggested? Of course Juliet let out a soft laugh. Sarcastically. And when she irritably asked why she said that in the first place, Juliet's eyes glanced over to her and with a smug smirk, "We're in the same house" and another smirk. Chill out Ravenclaw, it's not like it's the world is ending just because Mr. Apples over here is not going to lick the candy coated wallpaper.
Juliet's eyes snapped towards to Beezus once more when she snorted but she doesn't have a temper.... or she WILL have if Beezus keeps on showing her behavior towards her. With that, Juliet didn't respond to Beezus and besides, she offered licking the wall this time. Isn't that fun? And Gary should definitely take a picture for proof. Hey, maybe they can make use of it...... for future purposes.
And strike 3, SPOILSPORTS?!?!?!?!?! Juliet's upper lip twitched the moment she heard that but again didn't react over dramatically. No temper over here. Chill. Calm an collected.
you guys need to stand there
Juliet stared at the area where beezus was pointing at. Yeah, she can definitely do that. And she did, she walked over to it and waited for Gary to stand beside her too. Go ahead, lick it.

He just stood and still did not want to lick the wall. NO!! and NEVER!! If this Ravenclaw girl still forced him to lick the wall, maybe he will use the fake-diabetes reason to avoid licking the candy wall. That's quite reasonable, right? Unless if she didn't know what diabetes is. No.. she's a Ravenclaw! And the Ravenclaw students were known about their intelligence, right? So, Gary assumed that she might be familiar about this.
"All right! All right! You guys win...I'll do it!"
Blink..
Really?
Seriously? So he didn't need to make up the reason to avoid licking the wall again and Beezus would do it?
YAAAAY!!!
If he could jump, maybe he would jump. If he allowed to laugh, he would laughed so hard right now because he felt so much win over this Ravenclaw brunette. But.. well, the blonde guy just kept cool and calm. He tried not to laugh right now but just smirked. He turned to Juliet and gave a cool smile as it said "Thanks." to her.
Okaaaaay! So Beatrice Castell would lick the wall! It would be good if he took her photo licking the wall. Hehehe. Glad that he always brought his camera everywhere. (Because the main reason he dragged himself out from the bed was to take some photographs around Hogwarts.)
But?
Heh, why there's still the But words, huh?
Gary just frowned slightly when Beezus forced asked them to stand there. Sigh.. Okay! He walked and stood at the place where Beezus wanted to. Okay! Let's do that, Beatrice!

"I know but I still feel like I should have been there." She pouted dramatically for a moment and then smiled. She loved how understanding he was. He knew her better then most anyone and still accepted her despite all of that. How had she gotten so lucky?
She watched a few emotions flash across his face but couldn't identify them all. She was going to wait till closer to Christmas but had changed her mind. Hopefully this would make up for her absence. His kiss made her light headed and burn for more but she kept herself in check.
Present first kisses later Lockwood!
She watched as he tore the paper off the box and then opened the lid reveal what was inside. Nell was bouncing on her toes and watching his face closely to see his reaction. She had worked on the small sculpture over the last few weeks and she couldn't count the number of times she had started over. She couldn't wait for him to touch it!

Melanie stumbled a little when she was taken by surprise and someone hugged her. "LANDON!" Melanie exclaimed, grinning. He certainly looked excited about the giant gingerbread house. What was he even talking about though?
... A room?
Where you could eat the furniture?
What?!
That made Melanie forget about the story of Hansel and Gretel and she grabbed Landon's arm and pulled him in towards the house. "Stop standing there, let's walk!" Not run. Because she wasn't falling. "Which room do we go to? Where is it?" Melanie asked, looking around and not letting go of Landon. She also refused to stop walking until her feet fell off or they were in the room where you could eat the furniture.
Landon chuckled as he could see he wasn't the only one excited about this Gingerbread House. It seemed Melanie was excited too...maybe even more excited because before he could register anything, he was being dragged into the house. "WOAH-okay, okay, I'm walking!" He said, trying to keep up with his fellow Gryffindor.
"U-um...I think one person might've said upstairs, but I'm not sure, Melon." He shook his head, hoping that they would get to it fast. If he didn't know better he would've assumed Melanie was already on a sugar rush. And he thought himself was worse when it came to food.

Melanie laughed, as she continued to walk. She couldn't let go of Landon. She might fall. And that wasn't an option. "Isn't it so pretty in here?" Melanie asked, looking around the place. The first floor was so pretty. The chairs all looked so... squishy. She giggled as she looked at it, almost missing what Landon said.
"Let's go over here first though!" Melanie said, her brown eyes wide. She knew Christmas was her favorite holiday for a reason! "The chairs are all funny! Then we can go to the second floor?" Melanie said.
She was definitely excited about being here. She felt like she could jump around the walls and stuff... y'know... if she wasn't afraid of tripping in her shoes.

Pretty?
More like delicious.
If he could, he would be eating everything in here right now. He nodded his head, agreeing with Melanie so they could look around in the first floor. He watched as some kids bounced on the chairs that seemed to be made out of gelatin and that was something he definitely knew that he wanted to do.
He slipped out of Melanie's gripped and ran over, jumping onto one of the gelatin chairs and falling out of it. He sat there, looking at Melanie, with a pout on his face. "I don't like these chairs." He sighed, standing back up, rubbing his hip. Ouch.

Wait! Where was he going?! Who was going to make sure she didn't fall now?
She stood there and watched as Landon ran over to a chair and slipped out of it. She couldn't help but laugh. Very hard. She had tried not to laugh, because it wasn't nice to laugh at someone who had gotten hurt, but it was hard to stop herself from doing so. When she found herself laughing, she covered her mouth with her hands, trying to stop. Nope. Wasn't going to work.
"Landon you need to learn how to sit properly," she said, nodding her head and giggling quietly.
Carefully, with giant steps, she walked over to a chair and sat in one. HA. "Maybe your chair doesn't like you," Melanie said, grinning and she bounced up and down in her seat. Because she wasn't slipping out of it. And it was fun. And all bouncy and stuff.
She wanted a chair like this for Christmas.
