She'd always loved her grandma's name, though. Dahlia. Pretty.

Ironically enough, she was the only one who was truly half-blood. But she held such a pretty name.

Now it was Lottie's turn to laugh. Cool Elliot turned into Funny Elliot when her Pygmy Puff was addressed as a person would be. The thing bounced a little higher in return. "I think she likes you. I wouldn't pet her yet," juuuust in case. Mags was moody much like Lottie was.

A smug look was on her face as the next words reached her ears. Wise words. Of course. It was to be expected from her. "Yours are wiser." High and low.

Elliot nodded..."THat's pretty cool. And you have a brother?" she asked, rising an eyebrow..."How old is he?" she wanted to know..is he around the same age as Darius? If so...that would be cool...

Elliot smirked...'OF course she likes me...I'm Elliot Morganzo...what's not to like?" she asked, her blue eyes flickering to Lottie...hmph. The little girl was just so..awesome. "This is the perfect place for it," Genevieve insisted, taking Lex's hand in hers and pointing them both toward the window. They took just a few short steps before reaching the wall, and then Genevieve took them back toward the door again.

She wasn't really clear on whether Lex actually believed that taunting the girl would make her laugh or if, perhaps, Lex didn't really understand the RULES of this game. They were trying to make Hasty laugh, not trying to make her so mad... well. If she got mad enough to leave, that was something, she supposed. Still, she and Lex were working at cross purposes.

So they'd just DANCE.

"DIP." Genevieve was small, but she was strong. When she hooked an arm around the little first year and spun her through the air (avoiding the cat, of course), she didn't even falter. After three full rotations in the air, Genevieve paused and attempted to dip Lex. Attempted being the right word.

If Elliot thought it was cool, then it definitely was. Actually, she believed it was a rather nice thing her family stuck to that. Wisterias and traditions go hand in hand. It was... something unique. She just wished her name was as pretty as Dahlia or Magnolia. They were...rather mysterious. But...

"I do." Oleander, mostly referred to as Ollie...by Lottie. He hated Ollie. And since Lottie liked to annoy him... "He's seven." So, they'll be at Hogwarts at the same time, until then she'll be missing him lots. She had no DOUBT he'll be missing her too.

Oh? Lottie raised an eyebrow, slightly amused, "Can't argue with that." Because she also liked Elliot. Eyes on the Puff as it settled down somewhat. Excited much, Mags?

THIS. ADVICE. She loved. A small smirk on her face, "To the right people, of course...," or under the right circumstance. Because she was sure she could get people like Soapy to do stuff for her if she perform as sweetly as she could muster.

As a matter of fact, he had been watching where he'd been going. It was simply one of those instances where that was all he'd done; he'd watched her open the door, and watched her proceed to back into him. Maybe some part of him thought she would be a little more spatially aware, or maybe he was looking for someone to talk to but wasn't sure how to start a conversation. That wasn't usually a problem with him, but she was older and a little bit snippy.

"Thank you." He was a little discomfited that she was looking at his school uniform. He still wasn't entirely convinced that he wasn't walking around in a dressing gown, and that it was perfectly normal to wear robes in the wizarding world. It just seemed like he was perpetually on his way to bed.

"Do you like Hogwarts? You don't seem as... um..." Insanely happy to be going as everyone else? Something like that.

She chuckled a bit at just how defensive the girl had gotten. This was exactly why she enjoyed messing with the older kids; they could read between lines very well and they always gave such heart felt responses that one couldn't help but crack a smile. If only she was outside herself trying to make herself laugh as well. She would have won the frog because she would have laughed at herself for sure.

Lex shrugged. "Okay girly, no need to get all rattled sheesh." It was clear she would never win the frog but this seemed just as fun and unfortunately she had digressed. Sigh. She was never very good at keeping a straight train of thought anyway.

The girl said it wasn't the best place for dancing but she was glad that Genevieve didn't listen because now that she was standing up on the seat she was eager to give it a shot!

Though it was clear that Lex had no idea what she was doing she somehow managed to not trip over her own feet and end up going through the window...She didn't even want to think about that happening because in fact for a split second while they took a few steps toward the window she could see it happening and had to fight to not freak out.

Dip??? She was no dance expert but that didn't seem like very much fun! Before she could protest she was spun in the air. It amazed her that the two didn't topple over but then the girl seemed strong and she wasn't all that heavy anyway. There was a pause right before she felt herself going down. Just then Felix jumped up, clearly fearing for the life of his Lexa. He screeched in anticipation of something bad happening. Hearing the feline scream threw her off completely and before she knew it she was hurdling towards the floor with a small scream.

Vickers was dragging the puppy carrier behind him, the bird cage tucked under his other arm with hte now dozing cockatoo staying thnakfully silent. He was on his way to find a more quiet compartment when he turned his head to the side....

.... and saw students dancing?... on the seats.... on a moving train.

Yeeeeeep, he can almost hear the insurance jingles playing in his head....

But there was something about a particular student's ponytail that got him to do a double take, enough for him to stop right in the middle of the corridor, lower the bird cage to the ground and press his forehead against the glass "Vivi?" he mumbled as he peered in. Nawwwww it cant be, she should be on her way to Beauxbaton...

And before he knew it those dancing kids FELL with an audible thud that can be heard even from the outside. Automatically he slid the door open and tried to help the fallen get up. "Are you ok? Merlin!"

Perfect place? "This is a moving train. You guys could hurt yourselves." And.. they could also look absolutely ridiculous, which would make Abby laugh. That was something she kind of wanted to avoid. She didn't want to let them win. PFFT.

But, they'd already started to dance. Sheesh. Abby had to admit the fact that it was quite a performance. She almost smiled.. ALMOST when the little girl's cat started to scream and the two dancers fell. I told you so. Heh. Abby was always right.

"Are you guys alright?" She stood up to help them up but ANOTHER person entered the compartment. Seriously!?

Abby helped Genie up, letting the guy deal with the little girl. They looked okay, thankfully. Yeah.. she wasn't going to let any concern show on her face though. She didn't want people to know that she could be nice.. sometimes.

"So, if it makes you feel any better, that performance almost made me smile." See? Now, they could stop with all the dancing and singing. Especially the singing.

And, she turned towards the handsome boy. "Who are you?"

And they were spinning and they were dipping...

And quite suddenly they were falling. There was a screech from one of the cats, and Lex screamed right in Genevieve's ear on the way down. Way TOO much overreacting, considering the floor wasn't that far away and wasn't covered in hot lava or red fire ants.

Everyone was going to survive this dancing adventure.

Genevieve twisted her body as they fell to prevent Lex from landing first, and the brunt of the impact was on her elbows and tailbone. Ouch. Genevieve lay prone on the floor, looking from Lex to poor Hasty still sitting by the window to the rapper girlfriend Jacks... and she burst out laughing.

It was a good call, because Hasty finally broke her cold spell and moved from her seat, giving Genevieve a hand up. And 'fessed up to ALMOST smiling? Merlin. The world was coming to an end!

"That makes me feel loads better, actually. I'm going to count that plus the grimace from earlier as a whole smile." Mostly because she wasn't interested in being a fool in front of Vickers if she could help it. He might judge her silently with those big blue eyes of his.

"This is Vickers. He has a demon bird."

Lex could have sworn that every part of her life had flashed before her eyes. In her mind she had fallen through the window and she would die..die horribly and painfully and she would never see hogwarts. The thud, however, offered some relief as she found they had only fallen to the ground without her being squashed!

What in merlin's pants happened? One minute she was having fun dancing and the next....--Felix! She shot a glare at the creature who was now licking himself, quite content that she hadn't seriously hurt herself. Grrr....

Grouchy girl started asking if they were alright. Well... who knew she was capable of caring? It was quite a shock--and she didn't even gloat that she had told them so!

Then the door open a guy walked in, asking if they were alright. Were they that loud?! It had been a pretty short fall! For a moment she turned to see if Genevieve would have been mad that she messed up the dance but instant relief washed over her when she heard the girl laughing. Phew. So she hadn't completely messed up...if only grouchy girl were laughing too.

She watched grouchy girl help Genevieve to her feet then admit that the dance had nearly made her smile...aww man, if she hadn't fallen then maybe they could have gotten a smile! Such a shame, apparently they were so close. Even Genevieve said so as she said she would count the sort of smile. "Hey yeah, so technically we win...er...or well you win because it was your idea to dance."

And the boy was introduced as Vickers.

"What's a demon bird." Lex asked, shifting a bit so she was now lying on her back and looking up at them all. "Oh and hello Vickers."

He scampered looking at the little girl and the taller blonde laying on the floor. Gallopin gargoyles it WAS Vivi "Vivi what are you doing here?!?" he muttered as he tried to help her up, but was waved off. Right, check on the little one (Lex). Carefully lifting her up back to her feet he was distracted when someone asked for his name "Im Vickers..." he said just as the same time as Vivi mentioned who he was, although the demon bird addition was all hers. He gave Vivi a sheepish look before shifting his attention back to the little girl who he could guess was a firstie "Are you ok little Miss?"

Wait what's a demon bird? "Something you dont ever want to have nesting on your head." because said demon bird was right outside, hopefully still dozing off in her cage.

Oakey was surprised he was able to find a compartment open and empty right near the front of the train. He was furious with Laura's betrayal and probably shouldn't have left his things in that compartment.

At least remembered to storm off carrying Charmer with him. The black cat was swaying back and forth in his crate until Oakey finally stopped and turned into the the empty compartment. Setting down Charmer beside him, he removed his new wand from his new holster and starred at it. He didn't like being mad, especially with Laura. So instead he'd imagine whomever it was who kissed her and practice hexing him. Maybe he could imagine it was the maniac Hufflepuff Elijah.

So with his wand tip pointed up he began concentrating on what spell he'd cast on the girlfriend kisser. The spell that had come to mind was Densaugeo

A bright flash shot from the tip of his wand and hit him right in the chin. Oakey came to about 3 seconds after the surprise from his own wand. H-had he just cast a silent jinx on himself? N-no way! Oakey quickly felt his face.
Going down from his forehead and reached his lips and felt something large and smooth protruding from his mouth.
ERMERRIN! Oakey attempted to shout as he realized he had just enlarged his own teeth!

This whole being on her back, staring up thing was starting to make her a bit nauseous...or maybe the fall did that but either way the feeling wasn't a nice one. She was relieved when the boy helped her to her feet before she had a chance to lose all the delicious sweets she had had earlier.

"Thanks." And he was even asking if she was alright! "Uh yeah, it wasn't that big a fall thankfully." And even more Genevieve was fine so she had nothing to worry about.

She raised a puzzled eyebrow at his definition of a demon bird. "What's bad about it that makes it not a good thing to have on your head?" Ooooo she hated when older kids talked in codes because then she seldom understood; just like now with his mention of it not being good to have on your head.

"Do you have it with you? Could I see? Do you keep it in a cage or did you leave it in a compartment?" She often starting rambling when she was excited and all this talk about a demon bird definitely grabbed her interest.

Abby gave a faint smile when she noticed the surprised expression on Genie's face. It was the closest to a proper smile since she boarded the train. Hm. This girl was really not all that bad.. she could kind of see them being friends at some point. Besides, she really needed people she could talk to. Chace wasn't going to be around ALL the time. "Good job. You didn't really give up, did you?"

She turned to look down at the little girl who was still lying down on the floor. Abby hesitated for a moment before she extended a hand. Yeah.. she still didn't like the little girl but it didn't hurt to be polite. Sometimes. "Do you want to get up?" Or she could just stay down there. Her choice.

Vickers? "Interesting name." That was a compliment. "I'm Abby. Are you going to join us?" Abby asked, sitting down again. Hopefully not. Not that she didn't want a handsome boy to join them but the car was crowded enough as it is... Heh. Whatever. As for the demon bird.. "Your bird sounds quite.. dangerous.

Normally Vickers appreciates such curiosity about his feathered ward but now wasnt really a greatest of times to talk about her--mostly because such feathered ward kinda sorta not really harassed a certain ponytailed blonde he wasnt sure should be on this train anyway. But to at least answer the little one's question "Becaussssse..... you would like to keep your hair looking really nice and pretty right?" smiiiles. Girls cared a lot about their hair right? Well thats how it seems to him anyhow.

Oh Merlin now she wants to see it "Uhm.... she's..... not here--" which is technically accurate. The bird wasnt in the compartment. "She's sleeping in her cage....had a long night."



Interesting name? Yeah he'll take that as a compliment, at least she wasnt trying to mess with it by turning it into a girl's name. "Hullo Abby..." he returned the greeting then shook his head when she asked if he was joining them "I just rushed over since I saw them fall." nudges head at the little girl and Vivi, who he finds himself staring at because it doesnt explain why she's here. Her mother? Yes. Daughter? No. Unless the Hogwarts Express now make stops to Beauxbaton. Wait who's dangerous? "Who Dolly? Oh Pfffhh..." he waved his hand casually "... she's a real sweetheart." Eyes Vivi. Oops "Usually."

Aaand he should start backing out towards the door now mmhmm...

She smiled and nodded, of course he understood, he was starting at Hogwarts too. Neither of them had a lot of friends there yet.. But at least they had each other, the awesomest kids ever. 'Yes we do!'
Harlan hung back in her seat and nodded again, Logan was right. Maybe they could even go to the try-outs for Quidditch together.. if they were sorted into the same house, at least

Ooh. Sweets! 'Yummm!' She accepted a sweet and took her own pack of Crystallised Pineapples out of her bag, she had gotten them in Diagon Alley when she had met that cool kid. 'Do you think you're going to try out for Quidditch..?' Harlan asked, her teeth stuck on one of the sweets.
'Cause it looks super cool, doesn't it?' It looked like it'd feel like jumping with her horse.. maybe.

Leaving Walnut behind to wander on his own, which may or may not have been a good idea now that she thought of it, Kurumi tugged on the strap of her tank top as she looked around. The seventh year was having a hard time staying in one place this trip to Hogwarts and Kurumi couldn't help but feel as though this was motivated by her just not wanting to miss a thing. It was finally slowly starting to sink in that this really was her last ride to Hogwarts.

Peeking her head into one compartment to just say hello to a group of first years and introduce herself, Kurumi's head snapped back the moment she heard a scream. Or something. It was a loud noise to be sure that sounded like a person....but it was so...something that it was hard to even know what had been said.

or...tried to have been said as the case seemed to be.

Following the source for a few steps, Kurumi couldn't help but shake her head. "Why does it always seem to be you?" Kurumi sighed softly as she walked up to Oakey. "You know we ask everyone to refrain from using magic until we get to Hogwarts." Kurumi removed her wand from her pocket but did not unholster it just yet. "Growth Charm?"

After walking along the corridors for aaaaages, Bliss thought she'd found a cabin that was all by itself. Sure, it would be nice to have some company, maybe from Blue, Laura, Theodore or Alec, but seen as she hadn't been able to find them so far, she'd just have to make do. Because being on your own could sometimes be peaceful. GIGGLE. Bliss looked out the window, and wondered to her self what adventures awaited her at Hogwarts this year.

Laura had decided that she wanted to try and calm down, she didn't want too go to Hogwarts looking like she's been crying, which she had been doing but at the minute no matter what she did she couldn't stop crying, suddenly she saw her cousin Bliss and Laura openned the comparment door. "H...Hi..." Laura could still feel the tears falling down her cheeks. "I'm....an....Idiot." Laura just stood in the doorway.

Bliss sat humming to herself and staring out of the window, she'd already had chance to change into her school robes and she returned and taken to watching fields fly past the windows. But now something, someone else needed her attention. Laura. Her cousin. Bliss practically jumped from her seat and leaped the tiny distance to Laura. Her elder cousin and Bliss couldn't think of what to do.

She took Laura's hand and lead her into the compartment, before closing the door behind them both. "Tell me, what's wrong?" She asked before wrapping Laura in a moo-ha-sive hug! Because it was very clear that she needed one.

Laura looked at Bliss and sighed, trying to stop the tears. "I...eh...I...eh." Laura had no idea what to say to Bliss. "I...eh...I sort of told Oakey about me and the other boy." Laura cried. "You know the kiss that happened." Laura had told Bliss about it when she had come round to her house right?

Laura continued to hug Bliss. "Well you see..." Laura could still feel the tears coming down her face, she was trying her hardest to make them stop but well she was finding it difficult. "He eh, He eh." Laura didn't know how to put this. "He stormed out." Laura really was sad now. "And now I'm really mad at myself."

Bliss put one hand on her cousin's shoulder and rubbed it reassuringly and then wiped away Laura's tears with her thumb. Crying never solved anything, that's what her Mum had always told her. "Why?" Bliss asked simply. Of course she knew telling her truth was always best, but nothing good would come out of this truth. "I do, but you failed to mention why you kissed him," Bliss admitted, hoping for an answer. Randomly Bliss noticed, she herself had matured a lot over the holidays and see was only a Second Year, even if she was turning 13 soon.

Bliss then hugged Laura tighter to her, stroking the older girls hair and whispering comforting words in her ear. He'd stormed out? Well, it was understandable, but still. She wondered if he'd even given her a chance to explain. "It'll be alright," Bliss whispered, unsure of what else she could possibly say.

Laura continued to hug her cousin, she had a feeling she was starting to grow up and well she knew this term was an important one for her and she was going to do everything she could to make a good impression on the Professor but she would never try and make a good impression on the healer though. "I don't know why I kissed this other guy." Laura sighed. "He kissed me and I sort of like it and so I didn't stop it." Laura was finally stopping the crying. "I take it you think I'm a rubbish person right?"

Laura suddenly had the best idea ever. "Bliss can't you go have a word with Oakey." Laura looked into her cousin eyes. "You know you look like me and everything, your just a little smaller than me." Laura continued to hug her cousin.

Bliss thought through all of this logically, then asked the most obvious questions. "Do you love Oakey and do you love this other guy?" She asked, knowing that the answers were very important. If she loved Oakey and didn't love the other guy, then it's possible that it could all be fixed..somehow. Bliss gasped, "Of course I don't, Laura! I could never think that!" She cried and assured her cousin. She never, ever think that about her cousin, EVAH!

"W-what!?" Bliss asked and frowned slightly. She was unsure about it, baaaad things could happen. Very bad things. Like, Oakey could mistake her for Laura and attack her. Or, well, who knows..but it would be BAD! "What do you mean?" She asked hesitantly.

Laura looks at Bliss and sighed. "I do love Oakey." Laura said truthfully, after all he had been her first crush. "But I eh...I eh.." Nope Laura wasn't going to continue with this conversation it was too embaressing for her. "I don't know what I'm going to do." Laura hugged her cousin. "Thanks for saying that." Laura gave a weak smile.

"Well I was thinking if you talk to him then he might explane things to you." Laura sighed. "Like tell you why he stormed off." Laura really wanted to know why he had done that. "He didn't even give me chance to explain and he started to call me Fe." Laura so wanted to know who this Fe person was.
