The driver and snack lady sit waaaaaay up front in the driver's cab, but there are plenty of other compartments up here! Careful you don't sit in the Prefects' cab though.

He took his sunglasses off and placed it into his bag, beside the pig rabbit Melanie had given him in Diagon Alley. He wouldn't dare take it out while he stayed at Hogwarts, unless he was by himself...then maybe he would.
He watched as the bouncing girl walked into a compartment to his right and he continued forward, until he heard those familiar voices. He stopped and took a couple steps backwards, looking into the compartment where the blonde haired girl went into. He grinned as he saw Melanie and Alice. He walked into their compartment and dropped his bag, opening his arms out wide. "Well come on! I missed my two favorite girls in the world, I have to have a hug from the both of you! Didn't you miss me?" He smiled.

"I hope nothing broke in your bag though," Melanie said, eying the bag the boy had just dropped on the floor. Because it might've and that wouldn't be good at all.
Melanie looked at Alice then back at Landon... then at Alice again. "Well, take a seat!!!" she said, "I made you fried Oreos... just in case," Melanie added, taking a seat. She laid her blanket back on her lap then picked her bag off of the ground. Unzipping it, she rummaged through it, pulling out her plastic container of fried Oreos. Not her teddy. Not yet at least... because then Landon might scream or panic or something.
Alice was just going to sit down when someone came bursting through the door. Someone big. "DOOOOONNIE." Twas Melanie's best friend and her big brother. The tiny Gryffindor squished herself between Mel and Landon and wrapped her arms around her taller friends. After un-squishing herself and pawing her way out of the bear hug, she eyed the bag on the ground with the Princess. "MHMM. You could have smashed something. Did you have food in there?" Because, if he did, they should check to see if the food was smashed.
And if it wasn't... well, food was made to be eaten, yes?
The small girl plopped herself down next to Melanie because Melanie had a blanket and if Alice got cold, she would have to share. "You made us more oreos?!" Her Princess was the best. Y'know, except for when she was trying to stuff Alice into a dress. But the oreos made up for that. After pulling an oreo out of the plastic container that Melanie was holding and plopping it into her mouth, the lioness turned back to Landon. "Am I allowed to get my pig rabbit out?" she asked uneasily. "I want it but I dunno if it will scare Donnie." Cue giant puppy eyes.
He couldn't resist the puppy eyes.
No one could resist the puppy eyes.

Tay let out a yelp as the lights went off the first time. She looked at Damon a little scared as they continued to flicker. The train appeared to be going slower and she was starting to freak out.
Mika was sore, scared, and about to start panicking like a little lost cruppy if she didn't find someone fast. She was SO glad that she had only been in the middle of the train - if she'd been in the back she'd be sure that her knees would be rubbed raw and ragged by now.
She gulped back a panicked whimper. Now was not the time to sound like a sniveling and scared little girl. Now was time to face the on coming darkness - flicccccker. That needed to be changed.
She gulped and kept crawling, stopping momentarily against the wall. She was exhausted it had been almost five minutes of crawling and those doors were HARD to push from floor level.
