She watched with slightly wide eyes as a girl practically hopped over to them...she looked like she might have been on a sugar rush or something...this made Lex hide her bag; no need to make the situation any worse...

She would have to keep an eye on this girl. If she tried going through the windows Lex would eagerly try it too try to avoid the trouble so she could have the chocolate frogs. Focus was key here.

Lex snorted a bit when the girl wondered whether or not she was staring because of her beauty. It wasn't that the girl was ugly but that she was an older girl and well...those all looked alike at the end of the day when they were yelling at you for no reason.

"Nah, you're not that pretty, I was just staring because you're that girl that got all gross back at the platform!!" Yes she remembered her well. How could she forget when she was the first thing she saw upon crossing the wall? "I'll tell you one thing, I nearly went blind! Imagine walking through the wall and the first thing to greet you is two older kids kissing!" It was almost too much for the 11 year old!

She shrugged. "But if you want, I can lie that I think you're super pretty and that I'm staring for that reason!" She offered with an eager smile. Older girls liked getting lied to, that was obviously why they asked questions that already had clear-cut answers.

"Ohhhh!" She nodded slowly as she tried to understand...well it did make sense....

"Oh yeah I do!" She dipped into the bag and pulled out a handful of pumpkin fizzes. "I don't particularly like these but I like seeing a full bag of candy and I had run out of options." Anything to make it looked like she had a treasure trove of candy!


Oh so she would be going first...hmm...she listened to the rules before trying to figure exactly how she would play it. So she couldn't touch her and she couldn't use magic...that would be hard--older kids hardly laughed without those two measures!!!

But hearing the girl tell the other girl that there was a chocolate frog at stake gave her new determination.

She turned to the girl. Hmmm...how would she do this...? The girl seemed bent on not smiling....



She turned to the girl that had just arrived again. She might as well had as she waited for inspiration to hit. She gave her a smile when she said she wouldn't forget her name. Good, because she didn't like being forgotten and the smile got wider when she threw in some candy of her own! "Oh, well I like Jacks too so I'll call you that!"

She giggled when Jacks offered to sing. This had been enough to get her, even though the girl hadn't song a note yet. "Sure give it a go!"

She looked over at the grumpy girl again when she assured Jacks that her singing wouldn't help. Hmmm...so singing wouldn't work. It was too bad though because she wanted to hear some bad singing!

Ew. BAD ATTITUDE! Jacks rolled her eyes extravagantly and then looked at the girl through slightly narrowed eyes. "You're a bit too uptight. I think Singing is exactly what you need, actually. Perhaps a little dancing as well." YEP. Or she needed more fiber in her diet... that could make one cranky as well. Heh.



Okay. 1. Why was this one looking at her so funny? 2. What was so important in her bag that she was guarding it so? 3. Did she need to get the ring to Mordor or something? SNORT. Geddit... she is ickle. Anyway...

Jacks had just set Yoda the Obese in the seat next to her and got settled when she heard the little one tell the quiet one she was NOT that pretty. HEHEHEH. Oh how lovely. Jacks began to giggle and snort all over the place. HEHEH. Putting a hand over her mouth she just shifted her eyes back and forth between them.

She needed to sing. SHE NEEDED TO SING. Maybe she wasn't that bad... Clearing her throat and taking a moment to compose herself she began to belt out some greatness:

"IT'S TRICKY TO ROCK A RHYME, TO ROCK A RHYME THAT'S RIGHT ON TIME-- IT'S TRICKY, TRICKY, TRICKY!" They were familiar with it, no? THEY SHOULD SING ALONG. Well... RAP along. It was a sick beat, yo.

"Hey Ronnie" he repeated himself once he'd finally got himself just to relax finally. He attempted a smile for her, but it was kind of lopsided. "Yeah, summer jus' wasn' the greatest, thet's all." he said shrugging, "Never saw Amelia even once. And spent all of August in Australia." Hmph, yeah what a wasted trip. Only good thing was getting Sprite!

Looking up as a much younger student appeared at the door, a small smile flickered on his face, "Hey there." he responded kindly as well to him. He was after all a 7th year needed to show kindness to the new firstie's right? Though the boy had just said hello to Ronnie, Isaac wanted to at least be friendly, glancing Ronnie's way he introduced himself anyway "I'm Isaac, and ye know Ronnie I see. If ye need a compartment yer welcome te join us."

Harlan looked around nervously.. this was it. She couldn't just go back home now that she was on the actual train. She took a few deep breaths in an attempt to relax, somehow, and went on a search for a comfy seat. Maybe she could try to hang out with her owl and try to make it nice.. because she didn't feel like sitting with any of those people.

Once she found an empty spot Harlan sat down by the window and stared outside, a frown on her face.
'Don't want to go..' she mumbled to herself and took a photo of Ghost and Perry out. She'd much rather be at home, going for a ride with Ghost or playing with Perry. She shrugged, it would be Christmas really soon, she would see them again then. And it would be awesome. Yes.

Logan kept glancing around as he walked further into the train. He was both curious about what trains were like and searching for someone he knew to spend some time with on the long journey to Hogwarts.

How could he be having such bad luck when all the fellow students he had met were here with him on this train?

Just has he was starting to contemplate heading over to the food trolley and getting some snacks, he spotted a familiar girl in one of the compartments. And not just any girl: it was the amazing Harlan.

Beaming, he walked over and joined her, taking the seat opposite. "Why looking so glum?"

Harlan put her photo back into her bag before she could get even more upset about leaving her awesomepossum animals behind. They'd only remind her of how stupid her owl was..
She shrugged and looked outside instead, no need for crying. She wasn't a baby after all.

Just then she heard a familiar voice and looked away from the window. Opposite her sat the boy she met at the ice-cream place... Logan! She smiled at him, glad to see a familiar face.
'Hi..' Harlan sat up in her seat and grinned at the boy. 'Oh... just... I don't really want to go to Hogwarts that badly..' She nodded, that was about right. But now that she had Logan to hang out with it was only getting better. It was just that it would be even better if Hogwarts was in Derryvane.

Elliot eyed the girl, a little eye roll escaping her. Of course it was dull to Lottie..she as a CHILD. "Well good. I'm pureblood, too. And my family goes way back as well. What's your last name again, Lottie?" she asked curiously. She raised an eyebrow at the..puff. Hahaha!

"You have a pygmy puff? Are you going to introduce us? Jeeze Lottie, where's your manners?" she joked, a smirk playing across her face. SHe glanced out the window, watching many of the parents on the platform saying goodbye. She longed to see hers. But she wouldn't say this aloud.

She turned back to the little Lottie. But she snorted..."You met a boy? Lottie..he was a seventh year?" Smirksmirksmirk. She felt bad crushing the girl's little heart...but it was severely unlikely that a SEVENTH year would ...have a crush on Lottie. Which it sounded like Lottie had on the older boy...

Elliot thought about the boy's name.."I know of him. never actually talked to him. Maybe you can introduce us, hmm?" she said politely. Vickers. Eh, she had heard him talk in class and stuff. "Speaking of boys..." she began, then stopped, wanting Lottie to press for more. BECAUSE ELLIOT HAD A CRUSH. She guessed she could call it that.

And she would finally admit it to herself, too, that she DID like Ezzi.

"Oh, Dani's fine," she sighed, missing her little sister already. "She's off to Beauxbatons as we speak..." she was worried about her sister starting a foreign school..knowing only a handful of people...but Elliot had started only knowing a few people...Dani would be fine..."You better write to her...she won't shut up about you, Lottie," she warned, giving the a warning eyebrow-raise.

Juliette walked in a few seconds later, her cat Bonnet jumping to join Opie on her cousins lap. Juliette stood on the chair to put her luggage into the luggage holder, being that she was too short to do it from the ground, and then plopped down into the seat across from him, taking her gray and white striped cat back onto her lap.

"Is anyone else sitting with us?" Juliette asked, curious to meet more of Nate's friends, or maybe some of her own. She wanted the full Hogwarts experience, as she believed it was called, and that included some friends and whatever else she figured along the way.

Bonnet stuck out her paw in the way that people in love movies always did, hoping that her and Opie would paw tap or touch claws or something. She wanted to snuggle in Nate's lap with her friend and gossip about what they seen around the manor. Oh well. Juliette's lap was warm too, and she was getting tired anyway. She mewed affectionately at her owner and stretched herself across her owners purple skirt before curling up and falling asleep.

Ronnie frowned. Poor guy. "I'm real sorry about that, Isaac." she said. She hated to see him so sad, so she decided to change the subject. "Who's this?" she asked, nodding her head at the owl that was with him. It was a very beautiful owl, no doubt about it! She hoped Oliver wouldn't try to attack or anything...she'd never had him around an owl before. Well, it didn't really matter right now since the little guy was fast asleep in her lap.

Ronnie looked up as she heard the door open again, and smiled at the sight of Dylan. "Hiya, Dill Pickle!" she said with a grin. She was going to call him that ALL THE TIME now. All the time. Yes. She really was. Heheheheh. Hopefully he wouldn't get tired of it, ever. Because she really liked that nickname. "You can join us if you want," she said, gesturing to the open spot next to her with her hand. "There's plenty of room."

"Hey squirt. Are you ready for your first year at Hogwarts?" He asked his little cousin with a bright, happy, and cheerful smile. He was trying to hide that fact that Juliette didn't know that Thomas told nate to watch over Juliette until her twelth birthday, since Juliette was adventerous, and Thomas didn't want her hurt, in detention, expelled, or even worse dead. Yes Thomas can sometimes be a little over dramatic, and yes he could sometimes be over protective. So nate wasn't going to follow Juliette everywhere. If she was with someone else then she would be fine.

"I can't believe that I'm coming back to Hogwarts already! It felt like just yesterday i was coming back from Hogwarts. I can't wait to meet my old friends, who you can make as friends. Also you could make many other new friends. As long as they're nice and follow the rules they are okay with me." He stated to Juliette. He was hoping that she wouldn't ask about what happened last year because Nate was trying to forget about. He just kept on stroking his cat, Opie.

He wanted some soup.

Yes, poor Theodore was feeling very under the weather today, typically! First day back and stuff! He hoped he'd feel better for the Quidditch tryouts! Though, there really was no way he'd miss it, even if he was on his deathbed. He shuddered, and pulled his jacket tightly around him. The front was a wise place to sit. Closest to the driver if he spontaneously exploded and stuff.

Sliding the door open, Theo flopped onto the sofa thing and lay there for a few long minutes. It didn't take long, and SNOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooore...... he was off.

Ella was wandering the corridor looking for her people. HER PEOPLE...Where were her people, anyway? She hadn't seen anyone she knew in quite some time. This made the third year a bit sad because she longed for company.

She peeked into the compartment windows as she passed them, hoping to see any familiar faces, nomming on gummy worms as she went. The small blonde stopped short when she spied a little human who appeared to be sleeping...and shivering...inside the nearest compartment. O__O Was that Theodore? EEP. Was he sick or something? Concerned, Ella opened the compartment door and cleared her throat. "Erm...Theodore? Are you okay?" He wasn't going to like...die or anything...was he?!

Annabelle just go onto the train and was excited to be going back. She was a prefect after all and she knew this year was going to be a challenge. She was ready to take it on. After she patrolled the corridor to make sure everyone was all settled in their compartments, she found one of her own. She sat down and look out at the mountains and grass pastures they were passing. It was beautiful and she was excited to go back to her second home.

Arabella-Marie was wandering the front of the train looking for some of her friends when she saw a sixth year sitting alone and said "Hey may i join you?"

Hearing his name, Theodore's eyes plopped open, "Soup?" He muttered to himself, still in a dream-like state. Oh wait, he was on a rumbling train. Not the nicest thing to wake up to. Pressing his hands to his forehead, Theo groaned as he sat up and blinked at Ella. "Hi...... I'm fine, I just have a tummy ache cos my mum gave me some dodgy sausages for breakfast." And she would be receiving a nasty letter later for that, yup.

Anyway..... "Anyway, hi Ella." He said, yawning heavily. Yea, Hi Ella, thanks for waking me up, Ella. Goodbye, Ella.

No, he wasn't really thinking that. He hadn't seen Ella all summer, though he had heard from Casper that she had shared an ice cream with him in Diagon Alley. Which horrified him, quite frankly. Theo needed the details on THAT.

After what happened at the end of the summer, Alec didn't feel much in the mood to hang around with girls just yet. Especially one girl in particular. But... if he did see someone like Ells or Alice or Sophs or Messy, he could just join them. That wouldn't be too bad, right? And... it could distract him. Yeah.

The thirteen year old tugged his trunk along the corridor of the train, looking into each compartment as he went. An empty one would be nice... or one with someone he knew. Someone he- OH LOOK! There was Ells! And... she was with... Theo. GULP. Alec stood there and blinked at the boy, trying to imagine his, Theo's, twin brother there. How could he have hugged the wrong person?! And how did Theo have a twin brother?!

Shaking his head, Alec walked past, secretly hoping that the two hadn't seen him. He didn't really want Theo telling him that him and Ella were in luuuuurve. No. Even if Ella was a really nice and pretty girl. Shaking his head even more, Alec moved on until-

"Nate! Mate!" Hey, that rhymed! "How are- Oh." Nate... wasn't alone. He was with a... girl. A girl that he, Alec, had never seen before. "I... erm... hey! Can I... join you two?" Big grin!

Soup? Mmmmm soup. Soup would be lovely right now, though Ella wasn't sure where they could possibly get some on the train. The blonde frowned as she watched Theo sit up, holding his head. "Dodgy sausages? Um...that sounds pretty..." Gross? Dangerous? Like a horrible breakfast choice? "Bad. That sounds bad." And she hoped he wasn't going to like...barf on her or anything. Ella didn't do well with that sort of thing.

"Hey Theodore." She said, watching him curiously for any sign that he might faint or attempt to hair whip. "I could um...go if you wanted me to. I don't want to keep you awake if you're trying to get some sleep." Though she HAD kinda woken him up, yeah? That wasn't exactly a nice thing for her to do. "Oh..and erm...sorry for waking you up in the first place. I was just a bit worried." And NO, that didn't mean she LOVED him or anything.

"Alec! What's up? Oh. Where are my manners. This is my little cousin Juliette. You can call her squirt if you want though." He couldn't help but laugh. "Come ine join us. This is her first year going to Hogwarts." He said picking up his cat that moved from his lap to the seat, and put him back on his lap. "What's wrong governer? You look like you've seen a ghost." He said to Alec who happened to look a bit nervous.

Sierra had been sitting in the prefects compartment long enough. Strange things were happening there. Very strange things. So she found herself moving down the train and back into the crowded corridors. She wasn't a very sociable person, so she wasn't really looking for somebody to sit and talk with. Maybe she'd luck out, though, and find an empty compartment.

Peering into the window of a compartment she'd stopped at, she saw that nobody was inside. PERFECT. Sliding open the door, she stepped inside and closed the door behind her. It was only when she turned around that she saw somebody sitting there. "Oh," she said, a little surprised. "I...thought this one was empty."

Juliette looked away from the passing countryside outside her window to see a tall boy standing in front of the compartment looking awkwardly inside. She wasn't exactly sure who he was (in fact she never met him before in her life) but he seemed to know Nate, so Juliette smiled up at him and moved over to make some room. As Juliette moved, Bonnet woke up and jumped back over to where Opie was, annoyed that her nap was over.

"Hi. "Juliette said, smiling at the boy. "I'm Juliette and you know him." She waved awkwardly up at the boy, hoping that he would do something soon. She loved meeting new people, but it was always awkward when someone else knew them and you didn't.

Theo nodded, and clutched his stomach at every mention of the word 'sausage'. It just freaked him out. "Yeah, I don't think she gave it to me on purpose, but iunno... I'm still angry." Maybe it was Casper she was trying to poison, and he swapped their breakfasts. Yes, no one would want to kill Theodore.

"Oh, no... don't go." Had his inner thoughts come into his actual expression? Ohhh, snap, he needed to work on that. "You should stay, or else I'll probably stay asleep when we need to get off and I'll be stuck on this train forever." Theo actually shuddered at the thought. Anyway...

"How has your summer been? My brother said he met someone called Ella and I wondered if it was you." ........... D:

Landon Hughes was walking through the front part of the train, trying to find his best friend. Melanie, of course. He was behind a girl who was bouncing dramatically and he didn't understand how one could bounce for that long. He shook his head at her and continued to follow the line of people. He took his sunglasses off and placed it into his bag, beside the pig rabbit Melanie had given him in Diagon Alley. He wouldn't dare take it out while he stayed at Hogwarts, unless he was by himself...then maybe he would.

He watched as the bouncing girl walked into a compartment to his right and he continued forward, until he heard those familiar voices. He stopped and took a couple steps backwards, looking into the compartment where the blonde haired girl went into. He grinned as he saw Melanie and Alice. He walked into their compartment and dropped his bag, opening his arms out wide. "Well come on! I missed my two favorite girls in the world, I have to have a hug from the both of you! Didn't you miss me?" He smiled.

And... Nate was talking. Phew! Because... if he hadn't and the girl had said something, Alec might have been a bit more confused than he already was. "Hey Nate! Erm... nothing, really," Except... it wasn't nothing. "Just... excited about going back to Hogwarts. How are you?" Because... they hadn't seen each other all summer, right? Yeah, that needed to be changed next summer. And the whole of this term. Who knows, Nate might want to join in on the pillow fight in the boy's dorm this term.

Wait, COUSIN?! Alec blinked between Nate and the girl. Since when did Nate have a cousin?! ... No, priorities, Summers, priorities. "Erm... hey Juliette!" Could he call her Julie? Or Juls? That would match up with his nicknames for Ella and Sophie! Yeah! "Erm, it's nice to meet you! I'm Alec. Alec Summers. I'm... Nate's roommate!" You know, since they were sharing information on how they knew Nate and all.

Alec walked in, closed the door behind him and sat down next to Nate. Erm... wait, what had Nate said before? Something about looking like a... ghost?! "Oh... erm... I'm great! Really." GRIN. "Erm... do you two want some sweets?" Sweets were really important at a time like this. Yeah.

Dylan looked at the boy as he greeted him, well that was nice of him and he introduced himself too. "Hi Isaac.. yeah I met Ronnie on the platform.. when I was handing out some flyers" yeah stupid flyer and stupid punishment. Well at least they were on the train now and he didnt have to hand out anymore,, and even if he did.. he didnt have them with him anyways so it was all ok he hoped. Isaac then offered him a place in the compartment, he wanted to sit with Ronnie her being a fun girl and all but he had no idea what this Isaac was like, what if he was a boring guy? Dylan didnt want to be bored for the rest of the journey. He was about to decline when Ronnie piped up with his nickname that she had given him.

Dylan chuckled still trying to get used to being called Dill Pickle "Hi Ronnie good to see you" he smiled as he looked at her and he was about to make an excuse to leave them together when she offered for him to join them too.. so they both wanted a firstie to join them? well if it was going to be fun then he was all up for it.. and he would only know if he spent time talking to them. "Ok sure I can join you." he sat down in the empty spot that she gestured to him. This felt strange.. all this time he was dreaming of the day that he would be on his way to Hogwarts and now that day was finally here, he was actually on the train sitting on his way to Hogwarts and soon they will be there "So Isaac.. what year are you in?" he asked.. might as well get to know each other.. right? since they were going to be together for the entire journey.

Aiden kinsly climbed onto the train and marched toward the back. His tanned skin glistened slightly, as if he had been out in the sun for a while. He ran his fingers across his buzz cut as he searched for a compartment.

Aiden slid into the nearest compartment he could find, eager to leave for Hogwarts. The farth away from his foster home he was, the better.

Noticing he was not alone, the fifth year looked at the younger girl sitting and asked, "Mind if I sit here?"

Before she could even answer, Aiden had already out his trunk and guitar case up. He then plopped down across from her and glanced out the window at all the waving parents. He had no one there. No one cared enough to say goodbye.
