Elliot smirked at the puffball thing. "Hi Mags...nice to make your acquaintance..." she said with a little chuckle. She didn't know if puffs were particularly friendly...so she didn't know whether she could pet him or not..
Hmmm.."Wise words, my friend. ALWAYS have friends in high places..." and then, as an added thought, she said, "And low places. Remember the low places, too, Lottie." It was something her father often said. Have friends higher than you, have friends lower...uh huh...
And good. She merely nodded, though, her mind trickling to thoughts of her sister... Smirk. Yeah, really. "Mom doesn't count, though," because she was a Wisteria via marriage, "But my dad name's Chrysantho...," after chrysanthemums no doubt, "Hyacinth and Magnolia are my uncle and aunt, respectively," she nodded, all matter-of-factly, "My brother...," oh, that's right! She had a brother, didn't you know? "...is Oleander," the owls also answered to this kind of names, same goes for Sage, her aunt's cat, "The list goes on...," and it'll take a while. She'd always loved her grandma's name, though. Dahlia. Pretty.
Ironically enough, she was the only one who was truly half-blood. But she held such a pretty name.
Now it was Lottie's turn to laugh. Cool Elliot turned into Funny Elliot when her Pygmy Puff was addressed as a person would be. The thing bounced a little higher in return. "I think she likes you. I wouldn't pet her yet," juuuust in case. Mags was moody much like Lottie was.
A smug look was on her face as the next words reached her ears. Wise words. Of course. It was to be expected from her. "Yours are wiser." High and low.
Got it. |
