With one last look at the classroom arrangement, Josephina casually flicked her wand at the door and opened it. On each student desk was a single peppermint humbug. After selecting your desk for eternity for the year, a look at the chalkboard will give you today's starting memos.
Greetings and welcome!
Please take your seats and enjoy the candy (my favorite, for those who are wondering!). Take out your textbooks and some blank parchment, and we will begin shortly.
Always,
Professor Hadley
ooc: as I mentioned, class won't officially start till tomorrow, but take your seats. Keep chatting to a minimum. Read my rules. Any questions, PM me (or a Prefect ;D). See you all soon <33

Without waiting for too much of a disagreement, Josephina pulled on night goggles over her eyes and tossed instant darkness powder into the air, and then removed box one from behind her desk. "Inside this box, which I will pass around and give you all the opportunity to identify it, you can feel inside the box if you wish or just use your sense of smell, or even taste it if you want, as its edible...." With that, she began walking around the room to give them all an opportunity to identify the object.
ooc: think about what that object smells and feels like.... and if your character would know it... feel free to be silly with your guesses if your character wouldn't know it... remember you can't see it.
Uhhh...
No way, no how. Sierra was not volunteering to lose one of her senses and become vulnerable in a classroom full of her peers. What if she tripped? Fell down? Made some ridiculous guess?!
Nope. She was--...
Umm, okay then. So much for those thoughts. The room was now in complete darkness, and Sierra found herself blinking, trying desperately to see in the dark.
Then the box was in front of her, and she hesitantly felt the object inside. She ran her hands along it then sniffed the air. Smelled sort of...bitter. "Umm, it's round. Well, sort of." There was some other shape toward the top of it. "It's soft, and it's smells bitter. I think it's...a piece of rotten fruit?"

Alice was about to protest when the lights went out. What? She pawed around, holding out her hands until Hadley came around to her area of the room. As her long fingers ran over the object, she frown. Hmm. The object smelled bittersweet and tangy. It felt bumpy on the outside, like it was covered with ingrown tiny circles. "Is it.. a bottle of some sort?" Maybe? She felt around for a cap, and soon enough she found one. Pouring a drop of the mystery liquid onto the pad of her finger, the lioness tentatively took a taste.
Sour.
She puckered her face as the sour stuff slid down her throat. "Err.. is that.. lime juice?"

The small badger perked up a bit when she heard they would be playing a game, her competitive side kicking into gear. BEAM. Games were fun...and definitely better than calculating numbers no offence to the Had-ster!
BLINK.BLINK. WHOTURNEDOFFTHELIGHTS?
Ella was frightened for all of two seconds, thinking she might have gone blind or something. She grabbed the hand of the person next to her before realizing that was quite silly. She wasn't in any danger! They were in class... It took her a minute to realize that this, the darkness, was part of the game. Cue a sigh of relief.
She listened carefully as Hadley then explained what they would need to do, sitting back in her chair and waiting for her to bring the object around. When she did get to her seat, Ella immediately smelled something quite strong...and citrus-y. Hmm..Well it was edible, so maybe it was fruit? Or um...pie? MMM. PIE. She then decided to feel the object, thinking that might help her narrow it down. She was a bit surprised that the object was hard...and plastic? HUH? Ella was puzzled. "Erm Professor, is it um...some kind of natural lemon-based cleaning product...that you can um..eat?" Yup. Cause that made LOADS of sense.

And before she decided if she was disappointed or not, Professor Hadley mentioned something about a game! Which immediately excited the second-year and made her shift in her seat eager to know about the game they were going to play.
And it was explained. A guessing game. Cassia didn't mind those but she almost NEVER guessed right. She didn't really care as long as she had fun. So when the lights went out, Cassia waited for Professor Hadley to get closer to her seat. And when she did, Cassia stretched her hand out and inserted in into the box clumsily for she wasn't seeing anything. She decided to feel it and then if necessary smell it. But NOT taste it. Eww...what if someone else had licked it before her. Ewwwww..she didn't eve want to think about that.
Running her finger on the surface of the object, Cassia waited for her brain to process something. It never did. She used both of her hands. The object had a circular shape and not so smooth surface. Feeling defeated, the second-year shook her head in the dark and spoke up, "It's something small," Well obviously considering it fit into the box. "And feels like rubber." She paused. "Is it a rubber ball?" Though it didn't feel like a sphere but maybe Professor Hadley squished it or something to trick them. Cassia wanted to ask if it was indeed a ball could she keep it as she guessed it but that would sound stupid and childish so she didn't. And the twelve-years old didn't bother to smell it. It didn't feel worth it, besides other students surely did so it didn't feel comfortable to do so.

Once the box was in front of him. It kinda of smelled lemony. But Nigel dismissed that because he had just drunk some lemonade. But it did feel like a ball or bomb of some sort and if he include the lemon smell. Maybe it was a bomb.

She was still listening to the professor when the woman pulled something out of her pocket and told them briefly what she intended to do - and the room went dark. Pitch black, darkness. She was a little startled, but she knew this was all part of the lesson plan.
As the professor walked around the room with the object, Eliza knew one thing for sure. She was not going to taste it. Just because it was edible didn't meant she wanted to put strange tastes in her mouth. No thank you. When it was her turn to inspect it, she first leaned over to smell it. She took a small sniff at first, Smells...weird. Strong and...sour? She took another big whiff. Agh! Yep, definitely sour. She paused, debating her guesses, still not really sure. Okay, I guess I'll just have to touch it. Ugh. She reached a single finger into the box and jumped at the feeling of a rough hard material. Retrieving her hand quickly, she vexed over what it could be. What's solid like that and smells sour? Hmmm...
"Is it a...a sort of room freshener? A scented plastic or something? It smells citrusy. And she hated everything citrus. Yuck. Just yuck.
Rubber ball? Cleaning solution? Stick bomb?
Josephina had to fight the urge to not laugh at some of the guesses.
"I said, it was edible." she reiterated, as she continued to pass the box around. Would YOU eat a stink bomb?

Wait. Extinguish one of their senses? She could do that? Milton was about to question the legality of extinguishing someone senses (what was she gonna do - chop their ears off?), but then suddenly it was DARK. Milton blinked several times but he couldn't even tell because it was so dark.
After listening carefully to what Hadley was saying, Milton listened to her footsteps until he was pretty sure she was at his table. He kicked his foot out until he felt something that could have possible been Hadley's ankle. Whoops. "Sorry. It's... dark." Obviously. Milton fumbled around until he found the box and stuck his hand inside.
HMMM. It was... roundish. With a little nob-sort-thing at the top. It was kind of bumpy, too. "Can I take it out?" he asked, but he did so anyway without waiting for an answer. He used both hands to try and squish it. It was plastic, he assumed because he could kind of squish it. A plastic bottle. He shook it a few times. A plastic bottle with liquid inside! Milton played with the little nob thing on top before figuring out how open it. And Hadley DID say it was edible. Milton assumed it wasn't poisonous because Professor Hadley seemed like a genuinely nice person and poisoning students was something he could only see Professor Lafay doing. So, before even sniffing it (because he was kind of dumb), Milton dropped some of the liquid onto his finger and licked it.
WHEEEEW. "Ohbooooy!" Milton puckered up his lips and made a >__< face. He slapped the lid back on and tossed the LEMON JUICE bottle back into the box. "That's just mean." muttermuttergrumble.

Ok so they weren't going to be breaking any curses today. Hannah could deal with that. Play a little game? Truth be told Hannah was not in the mood to play any kinds of games especially with numbers...that was NOT fun.
Wait. What? She was going to do what? Take away her senses? Well which one? Before she had time to complain or really even to take in the information the professor threw some kind of powder into the room and everything went dark. Great they couldn't see. One of the worse senses to be taken away in her opinion. She had to feel and figure out what was in a box that she couldn't see? No, no, no. Hannah did not trust people. how many times would she have to make that fact clear?
She stuck her hand in the box. Hmm...it smelled strong of lemon, but it was hard. They were supposed to be able to eat this? Not that she would or anything. "Professor it's a super stale piece of lemon pie." Yup that explained the smell and the hardness!

When the box came down the row to Sutton, she felt what was inside and her brow furrowed. This was familiar to her, she knew. As her hands felt the way to the top, she noticed there was a flip cap. Not everyone in the class would recognize this, probably. Did wizards have flip caps like this? Popping it open, she turned it upside down, but nothing came out. She gave it a little shake and heard that there was, indeed, liquid in it.
Curious...
Squeezing it, a good amount of the liquid came out in her hand. She gave it a sniff, and it had a faint smell... it reminded her of her mother's kitchen. Her very, very clean kitchen. Taking a deep breath to calm herself, she brought her hand up to her face and tasted the liquid with the tip of her tongue. Her cheeks grew tight as her lips puckered at how sour it was.
Closing the flip cap, she put it back in the box and passed it down the line.
Yuck.
Lemon juice.

"Hard...maybe plastic. Ovoid shape." He heard what others had said about lemon and leaned his head closer to get a sniff. The smell was there though faint, though it got stronger as something he touched flipped open. "Certainly something lemony. A container of lemonade?"

Something was then shoved into his hands . It felt like a box, and through the confussion he fumbled with it, partly remembering the Professor's words that they have to use their other senses. His hand fell clumsily into the box and thats when he realized there was something else inside it. "Its... its plastic ba-- " he stopped mid sentence since his hand enclosed and lifted the circular thing feeling that it was filled with something liquid. He shook it a few times close to his good ear. A ball thats filled with water? That doesnt make any sense.
He fumbled a bit more with the plastic-y liquid filled ball. It had a flat bottom...and a screw/flip up top? It was almost like a bottle.
He drew his nose close to the top that he fumbled open. He wasnt about to taste it because that would risk having to ingest whatever it was. And no he wasnt about to risk that, not with almost two of his senses compromised.
The odor.... he recognized it immediately "Lemony..." pungent. It sure wasnt some kind of cleaning solution because it didnt smell fresh at all "Uhm... so its a lemon... juice.... ball?

Oh she hated the taste of lemons. Why did she lick the juice off her hand. Handing the lemon back she cringed still tasting it.

no...no...wait at the top there was...a top? Oakey placed his thumb and index finger around the lid and twisted it off. He placed his nose to it and smelled something sour that made his nose wince, No, definitely not a plastic golf ball.
As his final test Oakey decided to taste it. There was something in it and he could feel how the container was a bit heavy was it was filled with some kind of liquid. He put the container near his mouth and squirted the mystery liquid into his mouth.
It-it was really sour! Oakey puckered his face up and turned his head in the direction of where ever it was Ella was sitting. It was to dark to tell where anyone was. "That's lemon juice." Oakey said through his squinted face.
So she was totally going to ignore the fact that some of them ACTUALLY tasted it. They trusted her when she said it was edible, which was more than enough for her. Beaming - although the students couldn't tell - she made her way back through the darkness up to the front of the room where more boxes stood waiting.

Lifting her night goggles to make sure the darkness hadn't faded, she replaced them and went to get another box. "What's in this box, i don't think you should taste as it's not very edible." SO it was lemon juice.. Hmm she was close at least. The taste still was in her mouth, she wished she could get it out, but she would have to wait. Now it was time for another item. Not able to taste.. check..
As she felt the item come in front of her she moved her hands to it, but over shot it and took hold of something warm.. Realizing she grabbed Professor Hadley's hand she let go, "Sorry" she said quietly and found the item. Picking it up, it was rough and jagged. Hmmm lifting it to her nose she smelled it, OOOOOHHHH she knew that smell, "It's pine Professor. Maybe a pine cone." That was one of her favorite smells in the whole world.
Travis could smell the sour from across the room, it was not getting anywhere near him. Trav simply passed it along as it went by him.
But now the professor was coming around with something different. he listened to the other peoples reactions but attempted to just figure it out for himself without outside influence. The box came around, and he immediately reached in and groped for the object.
"OUCH!" he complained and his hand shot out of the box. Travis started shaking his hand violently to wave off the pain, before he compressed it against his chest. As the pain quickly faded, he said "Some kinda oval thing with thorns."
First Sour now Pain. This wasn't Arithmancy this was Torture. Since when did the meaning of numbers become so painful.

Lemon juice?! ...DUH! Face!Palm Boy, Ella could really be daft sometimes. She rolled her eyes at her own stupidity before readying herself for the next object that was coming her way. Right...she'd do better with this one.
Ella sensed Hadley was near her before she felt her. The third year reached her hand out blindly, tapping Hadley's arm instead of the box. WHOOPS. Was it even allowed to tap the Professor? Probs not but...SHRUG. Biting her lip, she moved her hand along until she found the box, reaching inside and feeling something...quite hard. Picking it up out of the box, the badger felt it with both hands, noting that there were lots of little...pointy parts. Only they weren't really pointy...but they were rough around the edges! Yeah...and they covered the whole object which was...strange. Her first thought was a brush or comb of some sort, only there wasn't any handle. Deciding to use another sense, she brought the object towards her nose, taking a big whiff. Hmmmm. Smelt like...the forest. OH! Like pine! Whisper.Whisper.Whisper. "I think it's a pince cone, Professor."
Nigel did not have to smell it. He knew what it was right when he touched it. His father had enough of them in the attic at home. Nigel did not know why and he did not ask questions.
"It's a grenade Professor."
He knew the pin was gone so the grenade was not live. Which was a relief for Nigel. A live grenade is dangerous.

A bit of apprehension growing, it was finally his turn to get the object. His first impression was of a bumpy little bottle of olive oil his mother had on the counter at all times at home. But there's no way that's what this was. Hands blindly inspecting the shape, he raised it to his nose and sniffed. Woah, citrus! Lemon, most likely. But he didn't bother voicing the guess as so many other students had said the same thing.

But this next object... What on earth..? It felt.. Well, he had no way to describe how it felt, actually. He'd never encountered anything like this before. Raising it to his nose, he took a whiff. Definitely outdoorsy somehow... But Pao didn't have any chance. He'd grown up on an island in the middle of the Mediterranean, far away from anything like this. Unseen, he shrugged in puzzlement and passed on the strange thing. "Good luck with that," he mumbled to whoever was next in line.

Ha. Lemon juice. Yeah she did not say lemon juice but she got the lemon part right anyways. The professor had to tell them not to taste it? Were there actually people who were trying to taste it? Had to be puffers. Honestly...who would taste something that they had no idea about. Hannah shook her head and tried again to make eyes see in the darkness with no luck.
Sigh!
Now they had another box. She felt nervous all over again before she stuck her hand in the box. This time she felt something hard and a tad prickly. It had a sort of woodsy smell to it. She couldn't really make out what it was though. "That smells like Christmas... maybe some kind of decoration?" Because she really didn't have a clue and Christmas was coming up and all.

Lemon juice? Well, it was close to a rubber ball....nah who was she kidding! It was a total failure but she still wasn't regretting not tasting. So the second try should be more successful. Hopefully.
This one was not edible? good she didn't have to taste anything. Once Professor Hadley reached her, Cassia slid her hand inside the box and felt the object. "It has pointed things...." She guessed. "Is it tree?" Ehh...In a box! "I mean a small one..erm..or....A plant! Some kind of a plant that has pointed branches or something?!" She wasn't really good at guessing obviously. And she didn't feel like thinking ,leave it to the Ravenclaws. But just in case it really was a plant, Cassia wiped her hand against her robes because she HATES plants and didn't want to have any traces of them on her hands. It was barely bearable in Herbology.

Honestly, why'd the lights go out?! For a second Tag thought they'd be playing hide and seek and he was ready to be out and hiding behind some statue in the corridor but of course he had to stay in the room.
He felt like his was in some t.v. show at the moment. Yes-being put into a black room where he could absolutely see nothing and had to use his sense. The only way he'd be doing this is if he were getting paid.
Now the professor came around with another object. When she came by him he blindly put his hands out and finally grasped the object. His fingers were picking and jabbing at it. The object felt really rough, kind of like wood, but it still felt prickly. What was this a cactus? But if it were he'd had retracted his hands from getting stabbed. "Well, its kind of shaped like an egg-oval-and the surface is really hard."" He spoke out loud as he continued to examine it the best he could. "No idea. But it sort of feels like a piece of bark. That's my best guess."
Lemon...Elliot hadn't been brave enough to attempt to guess the first time around...but the second time? Hm. When it was her turn to figure it out, she smirked. It smelled like Christmas, like Hannah had said, or least Hannah's voice...hmm..hmm.
She touched it, feeling around...it felt almost like bark? And those ridges...and recieved a sharp JAB! Ouch! "A pince cone?" she asked, clearly a little annoyed by the prickle...she quickly passed the box on...hmmmph. Pine cones were vicious. SHe didn't like them.
Had someone said a grenade? SERIOUSLY, KID?! She sincerely hoped the kid wasn't a Ravenclaw! She rolled her eyes and had to contain a snicker...

As another box made its way to Sutton's desk, she put her hands into it to pick it up, and she smiled broadly. She knew exactly what this was! Using these for crafts during the Christmas holidays had been a favorite of her elementary school teachers in America. Sometimes they dipped them in wax and made candles, or rolled them in glitter and glue to make ornaments, or splatter painted them!
Oh! And you could even cover them in peanut butter and then roll them in bird seed to make bird feeders!
Yep... "Pine cone..." she said barely aloud to herself.

I knew it!, Befelda quipped. She knew from the very start that it was lemon juice when she tried to smell the scent of the bottle-like thing inside the box. She has a very keen and strong sense of smell so she need not to taste it.
SPOILER!!: Sugar pine cones
Lifting her night goggles to make sure the darkness hadn't faded, she replaced them and went to get another box. "What's in this box, i don't think you should taste as it's not very edible." That was her clue there, as she started with the first in the row and walked that box around the room, giving them a chance to feel what was inside (or smell it if they desired).
She's having a lot of fun with this senses game. She waited for the Professor to pass by their row to check what's in the next box. Until Professor arrived.
Hmm...Professor said we should not taste it as it's not very edible, she said to herself. She placed her hand inside the box and tried to feel the thing inside it. She was shocked at first and quickly took her hand out of the box. "Whoa! That was rough, Professor. What could be inside it?", she said. Then she placed her hand once more, trying to feel the rough thing. Slowly she dragged her finger tips through the whole thing and felt it. She then said to the Professor, "Uhmm...Professor, this thing is big, rounded and rough. Isn't this like a cone of some kind, like a pine cone?", she asked the Professor. The description based on her sense of touch was that of the cone she handed to her Mom back at their home.

Hmmm lifting it to her nose she smelled it, OOOOOHHHH she knew that smell, "It's pine Professor. Maybe a pine cone." That was one of her favorite smells in the whole world.

"OUCH!" he complained and his hand shot out of the box. Travis started shaking his hand violently to wave off the pain, before he compressed it against his chest. As the pain quickly faded, he said "Some kinda oval thing with thorns."

Oh! And you could even cover them in peanut butter and then roll them in bird seed to make bird feeders!

Josephina listened to the whispers and speculations; this one was definitely a bit harder to discern than the lemon juice one. She fought back at a chuckle when someone suggested grenade. Seriously? Did the kid really think she'd have a grenade? Shrugging it off, as she finished with the last kid, she made her way back to the front of the room, as she rummaged through the boxes for another one.
"Yes, those who said pine cones, were correct." She admitted. "Good job. Now this one," peering into the box, she frowned. That wasn't what she originally placed in there, but .... well she would have to go with it. "Don't eat this one either, I'd advise..." Fina explained, as she walked toward the first desk for the person to feel inside, of what felt damp and papery... and clumpy....It was entirely possible the item would crumble beneath your fingers...

Okay, no wonder he didn't know that one. He'd never really even SEEN a pine tree until he got to Hogwarts! He was slightly miffed with his aunt, but he funneled his energy into the next object, which was conveniently plunked into his lap first!
And it didn't take long for him to know it. Practically everyone should get this object right because they used it every day. "Toilet paper? Seriously, Aun-- Professor?" But at least it wasn't a grenade like some had suggested the first round.
Still in her sing-songy mood, Myrtle flew out of her bathroom and down the second floor corridor, spying little heads and hearing little voices in the Arithmancy classroom, even though it was like midnight dark.
Oooh, what was that? Was that a box? Were all the kiddies' eyes closed? YIPPPEEEEE! Myrtle swooped in through the door and zoomed up into the box, curling herself around the soggy toilet paper so that the kids' hands would get an icy dip in addition to having to feel the lumpy paper.
She felt right at home.

After feeling what was in the box, she gave a little confused look, but that wasn't really what she was feeling. It was to why the professor would put something like this in. At least it's not a grenade..."Is this.....toilet paper Professor?????"
What. Is. This. Trickery.
Why would she put TOILET PAPER in the box? And why would the professor FREEZE it?? She expected to hear some snickers from the younger students, which was a given. They just couldn't handle silly things like this. Don't take this the wrong way though. Not meaning to offend anyone here. If Cardigan was eleven, she probably would've burst into a giggle fit. Back then, she couldn't really handle it either. She was better at it now.
Elliot waited with bated breath...okay? YES! SHe was RIGHT! Whooh! God job, Morganzo! She knew she was smart, of course...but that had been a giveaway, with the way it felt...she knew what a pine cone felt like...liviing by trees.
Okay..next box! SO READY!
She took the box carefully and prodded the unknown substance with her finger..YIKES! She pulled it back almost IMMEDIATELY and made a face.."Ew...it feels like..cold gum...or goo...or something really gross..." It felt frozen...but it wasn't..was it? If it was frozen, wouldn't it be hard...
and hey WAIT A DARN MINUTE?! Elliot didn't have ANY idea what this had to do with Arithmancy! Hmm...she eyed the professor(well, where she thought the professor might BE ) since it was dark..

It was good it was dark, because Vivi was sulking over not learning tools for cursebreaking. She propped her chin in her hands and waited her turn for the box to make its way to her. The guesses around her sort of spoiled things, so that each time she had a good idea what she was getting before it came to her.
The most recent pass, though... how did anyone know it was toilet paper? It felt damp and disintegrated at her touch, so something like paper, although not as sturdy as parchment. She wasn't about to smell it, especially if it was toilet paper. And why was it so cold? Her fingers felt like they were in an ice bath.
"Definitely paper. Damp and very thin. It does feel cylindrical, so I suspect it is toilet... Merlin, is it MOVING?" She jumped and shoved the box away as whatever icy substance her hand had rested in seemed to move or vibrate against her hand. Ick.

Man, all these activities were exercising Kat's sense a bit too much. Bending near the box, Kat placed her hand inside the hole. Well, this was... AWKWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD.
It was like paper. But rather different paper. Soft. And all. Softer than normal paper!
"Is that toilet paper, Professor?" Kat said. Ok. They're not going into the comfort room, are they?

WOAH! Kurumi hadn't expected for the room to go so dark so fast and she nearly tumbled out of her chair. Arms flailing slightly - not that anyone could see since it was dark - Kurumi managed to grab on to Lewis to keep herself from falling and whispered a quick apology to him before regaining her composure and waiting for the object to come her way. Once it had - or she assumed it had based on the sound of something being set in front of her - she reached out with her hands and began to feel the surface of whatever it was.
Which didn't take long to figure out - especially once her sense of smell kicked in. She used this all the time in her baking when there were not fresh lemons around. "Real Lemon Juice container," she whispered as she passed the box along.

Shaking her hands a little in anticipation for the next item, Kurumi waiting for the sound of the box being set in front of her and then her hands were timidly on the object. "OUCH!" she mutter, applying too much force with the palms of her hands on whatever it was. Her fingers slid through some of the gaps in the object, causing the Gryffindor to tilt her head to the side in slight confusion as she held the object up to her nose. It had a very strong woody smell...one that was very familiar yet foreign to her at the same time. Sort of reminded her of the smell of some of the decoration sin the Great Hall... "Christmas decoration...of some sort..." she wondered out loud as she passed the box along.

Pine cone? Oh....so that is what it was. Kurumi wasn't entirely familiar with those seeing as there were not many pine trees back home. She supposed that Christmas decorations wasn't THAT far off...all things considered.
When the next item came around, Kurumi could already tell from her sense of hearing that it was...different. The box almost sounded heavier. Timidly, Kurumi reached into the box and allowed just her finger tips to touch whatever it was. "KYAA," she squeaked, recoiling slightly and wrinkling her nose. It was cold...really cold...and damp....and disgusting.
Kurumi wanted to say cold stewed cabbage, but the texture was all wrong. It was thin, like paper. But if it was paper..."Why is it moving..." she squeaked. Not to mention WHY was it wet...
Wet...possibly toilet paper...

THAT WAS DISGUSTING! USED TOILET PAPER?!
Wrinkling her nose and without saying another word, Kurumi passed the box along.
Ew...ewewewewewewew....
Was there some hand sanitizer somewhere?!

She felt right at home.
No tasting this time? so what this was gonna be harder than the last one then?
As the box neared his him he reached inside and felt a sudden cold draft of air inside the box along with...something...soggy...but oddly soft? he grabbed one end of the soggy wet substance and began pulling it out. "Professor how much toilet paper did you waste?"
Cora gasped when she was sent into total darkness, jumping backwards and hitting someone in the face. "Sorry," she whispered apologetically, hoping that no one had heard her mini squeal in response to the darkness. Her heart rate had increased due to the darkness, and if anyone touched her now she'd probably scream.
Why darkness? Cora hated not seeing. She liked to watch the room react to things, and her ears strained to figure out everything.
She mainly kept quiet as the first objects were passed around, enjoying the game despite her annoyance at the darkness. This next one felt mushy and wet. As it broke apart in her hand, her eyes strained to see something, although she knew she wouldn't be able to. What was it? "Wet tissues?" Cora asked, hopeful.
