More to give herself some piece of mind, Kurumi did in fact remove her wand and wave it over the peppermint. "
Arithmos Revelio," she whispered. Sure enough, there were no numbers appearing over the peppermint. "
Better safe than sorry, professor," Kurumi laughed.
You know, constant vigilance and all that.

WOAH! Kurumi hadn't expected for the room to go so dark so fast and she nearly tumbled out of her chair. Arms flailing slightly - not that anyone could see since it was dark - Kurumi managed to grab on to Lewis to keep herself from falling and whispered a quick apology to him before regaining her composure and waiting for the object to come her way. Once it had - or she assumed it had based on the sound of something being set in front of her - she reached out with her hands and began to feel the surface of whatever it was.
Which didn't take long to figure out - especially once her sense of smell kicked in. She used this all the time in her baking when there were not fresh lemons around. "
Real Lemon Juice container," she whispered as she passed the box along.

"What's in this box, i don't think you should taste as it's not very edible." That was her clue there, as she started with the first in the row and walked that box around the room, giving them a chance to feel what was
inside (or smell it if they desired).[/COLOR]
Shaking her hands a little in anticipation for the next item, Kurumi waiting for the sound of the box being set in front of her and then her hands were timidly on the object. "
OUCH!" she mutter, applying too much force with the palms of her hands on whatever it was. Her fingers slid through some of the gaps in the object, causing the Gryffindor to tilt her head to the side in slight confusion as she held the object up to her nose. It had a very strong woody smell...one that was very familiar yet foreign to her at the same time. Sort of reminded her of the smell of some of the decoration sin the Great Hall... "
Christmas decoration...of some sort..." she wondered out loud as she passed the box along.

Did the kid really think she'd have a grenade? Shrugging it off, as she finished with the last kid, she made her way back to the front of the room, as she rummaged through the boxes for another one.
"Yes, those who said pine cones, were correct." She admitted. "Good job. Now this one," peering into the box, she frowned. That wasn't what she originally placed in there, but .... well she would have to go with it. "Don't eat this one either, I'd advise..." Fina explained, as she walked toward the first desk for the person to feel inside, of what felt damp and papery... and clumpy....It was entirely possible the item would crumble beneath your fingers... Pine cone? Oh....so that is what it was. Kurumi wasn't entirely familiar with those seeing as there were not many pine trees back home. She supposed that Christmas decorations wasn't THAT far off...all things considered.
When the next item came around, Kurumi could already tell from her sense of hearing that it was...different. The box almost sounded heavier. Timidly, Kurumi reached into the box and allowed just her finger tips to touch whatever it was. "
KYAA," she squeaked, recoiling slightly and wrinkling her nose. It was cold...really cold...and damp....and disgusting.
Kurumi wanted to say cold stewed cabbage, but the texture was all wrong. It was thin, like paper. But if it was paper..."
Why is it moving..." she squeaked. Not to mention WHY was it wet...
Wet...possibly toilet paper...

THAT WAS DISGUSTING! USED TOILET PAPER?!
Wrinkling her nose and without saying another word, Kurumi passed the box along.
Ew...ewewewewewewew....
Was there some hand sanitizer somewhere?!
