Jory watched as the ducks waddled to Alex's side of the Pond and began to push their long necks under water and began gobbling up the bread pieces. But some thing Alex said made him laugh. "I never knew what their language is called,'' he said. "Or are you making that up?'' he teased.

"I'm Muggle born,'' the Puff said. "I had no clue of the wizarding world, obviously, until I got my letter. So when I came here, I had a lot to catch up on.'' Jory paused to throw a bit more crumbs. "I'm fourth year. You look about the same age as I am, so you're fourth year too?''

Minerva sighed ad took it. She knew she could never fight him, because as soon as she looked at him she would melt and the fact of his face etched in her mind being so upset, she couldn't say no. She took and drank the vial. The pain let up and she was feeling a bit better.

Maxwell watched she she took the vial. "Better?" He asked anxiously , hoping she really was...he knew it wouldn't fix everything but it would at least dull the pain. He reached for one of her hands and held it with both of his.

Minerva did feel better for the most part. She could still feel a little dull pain, but nothing like before. "Yes I do, thank you for coming to my rescue yet again my knight." she gave him a grin and then kissed his cheek. She was super tired from the match and all the pain that she had been in. She leaned against the tree that they were near and yawned. "So anything interesting happen in the stands today?"

Maxwell smiled. "I'll always come to your rescue, Milady." He said with a smile and kissed her cheek back. "I don't know, i think you're asking the wrong person...my eyes were glued to you the whole game.." He said with a small smile.

Minerva smiled and laughed a bit, "I don't know why, but your New York accent really came out right there. I haven't really noticed it this entire time. I guess I'm just so use to all the other accents." She then squeezed his hand that was holding hers. "Well it had to be kind of funny when my bat slipped TO of my hand and went for Lafay." She chuckled thinking about it. She knew it wasn't a good thing and being the second run in with her was not giving her many options to stay on that good side if there was one.

Maxwell smirked a little. "It comes and goes...I've lived in london so long i feel like i don't really have one." He said kissing her hand gently. "The weird thing is, she had her own bat and knocked yours back...you carries around their own bat?" He asked as if it were really weird.

Minerva smiled a bit, "Well it was very much there at that moment." She smiled liking the accent, but she always loved accents they had interested her since she was very young. "I wondered how it came flying back like that, it nearly took out Ella. I had caught it just in time. I wish we would have done better though. They were a lot better then us, but we were missing three of our best players. I wouldn't be surprised if I didn't play next time, because of how bad I was today. Once their back the positions will probably all change and I'll end up a back up or something." She was still a bit mad at herself for doing poorly.

Maxwell blushed a bit. "Well, i'm glad you liked it." He said squeezing her hand a little. "Don't be so hard on yourself, it was a crazy match...and if you are a back up the up side is you get to sit with me..." He said trying to get her not to blame herself, getting his by two bludgers is a good reason to be off your game.

Minerva smiled when she saw him blush. He looked cute blushing she thought to herself. She shook her head a bit, "I should have been faster, I have one of the fastest broom there other then Ella. Her and I bought them this summer together. No, I wasn't completely focused for some reason. I'm hoping it was just first match of the season nerves." She smiled, "Well that would be great to sit with you, but I would rather be on my broom playing." She kissed his cheek hoping he wouldn't take that the wrong way, she just liked playing.

Maxwell shook his head. "Sweetie no one's perfect. You did what you could today and i'm so proud of you for sticking the game out." He said hoping she could see how proud he was. "I know you would...but would it be horrible to say that i hope you're sitting next to me, safe and holding my hand." He said through a smile, hoping it wasn't too selfish a thing to say.

The blonde Slytherin walked over to the duck pond, the last place on the grounds she had to look. So much for finding her best friend, Eliza. She was no where to be found, on the grounds at least...but Chelsea could just find her later.

As she walked around the blonde thought about all the school work she could be getting done right now. It can wait she decided. Wandering over by the pond filled with cute little ducks she saw someone looking well...miserable. Can't hurt to just ask whats wrong, right? She was just being friendly anyway unlike some people in her house. "Is everything ok?" she asked the boy who looked a few years older than her.

Derrick stared out on the open Water until He heard someone.He quickly turned around to see A girl who was Few years Younger than him from Slytherin.''Yeah,I'm fine.''He turned back to the water.

''I just miss home.''He said with a Frown.

Minerva smiled a bit, "I just need to practice more. I might try to get in some extra practices, would you want to come help me?" She remembered them talking about that before. Then she shook her head, "I know that's what you would want, but it's not what I want. I love playing, I just need to get better. I wouldn't mind holding your hand to watch the next match we are not playing in though." She kissed his cheek still feeling a mild pain, but not anything like she was feeling.

Maxwell nodded. "If it keeps you from getting hit by bludgers, i'll do anything..." He said and kissed her hand. "I know...which is why i could never ask you to stop playing...i love seeing you so happy...i just want to protect you...sounds like a date...i think your team is playing mine next...whoever should i cheer for?" He said jokingly.

Minerva smiled, "Yes it might help me keep the bludger away." She laughed and put her hand around her ribs. "I'm fine I promise, they still hurt, but not as bad as they did thanks to some wonderful guy that comes to my rescue all the time." She then looked up, "Well you can cheer for your house. I am not going to be offended if I hear you wanting the bludger to hit me so your house can win." she winked at him.

Maxwell put a hand softly on hers that was on her ribs. "I'll keep coming to your rescue too." He said smiling and then laughed a little at her joke. "If one of them knocks you off your broom i'll have some words for them back in the common room." He said with an evil grin.

Chelsea sat down, that was understandable that he missed home. She did too sometimes. "Oh, yeah its easy to get home sick here. Where are you from?" she casually asked watching the ducks swim around. How cute. Anyway, she noticed she hadn't introduced herself. "By the way, I'm Chelsea" she said looking at the guy. Yeah she always tended to ask questions before introducing herself, it was kinda her thing.

Minerva smiled, "Sorry, I don't mean to be doubled over like this." She felt bad knowing how much it hurt seeing her like this, but she couldn't hide it. "I promise it isn't as bad now that I had the vial of tears." She moved so that she could put her weight up against him and lean on him instead of the tree. "Maxwell you will not do that to your house mates, it's their job to send a bludger at me."

Maxwell nodded. "it's okay...still just looking out for you." He said with a sparkle in his eyes. "I know it's their jobs...but that doesn't mean i like it, sometimes Lions fight among each other..." He said with a smirk.

Minerva laughed "Well I don't like that you fight among each other." she did not want him getting upset at his house for playing against her and doing their jobs. "Well think of it this way, next year you might be the one hitting a bludger at me if you would make the team and that position and you would have to do it you couldn't just not do it, it's your job." He said he wanted to try out for the team so if could be a possibility.

Maxwell sighed. "Well, don't worry i'm one of the more fierce lions.." He said with a smirk, trying to get out of it. "I'm debating trying out now...I can't stand seeing you get hurt like that...and to be the one doing it for me team...I don't love Gryffindor that much." He said giving her hand a little squeeze.

Minerva smiled, "Well fierce or not this lion isn't fighting." She kissed his cheek. She didn't need him fighting any battles over her and quidditch. It was a game and she would be fine. She did think it was cute how much he worried about her though. "Just think if I wasn't on the team or didn't get hurt, my knight would get bored with nothing to do." She giggled and put her head on his shoulder. Minerva frowned, "Maxwell if you want to play, play don't not play because I'm on another team."

Maxwell sighed. "All Lions need to fight sometime." He said with a smirk and kissed hers back. "Your Knight would relax and focus on making everything perfect for you, but prepared for defend you again at any time." He said thinking about the last part. "nahh Quidditch is fun too watch but it sounds like too much discipline to me...besides all the cute girls aren't on my team..."
