SPOILER!!: Harvey Ella laughed, thinking how funny it would be if the ducks actually were mad at Harvey. She wondered if they would stage some kind of assault on her friend, pecking him with their beaks or something! On second thought, maybe that wasn't such a funny situation after all..."Well just in case they are upset..." The second year broke one of the rolls in half and handed Harvey a piece. "Well go on, make amends with the duck-folk." He-he Ella broke up her own large half into smaller pieces and smiled. "Here duckies! Come and get it!" And she let the bread rain down into the water causing a large group of ducks to crowd around trying to get their share. Noting that Harvey looked a bit worried about Ella trying to find him, she smirked. "Harvey, you're not in trouble or anything." So no worries, okay? "I actually wanted to say congratulations on Ravenclaw's first win!" Cause it had been a pretty good match. "You played really well." |
Text Cut: Ella He smiled as Ella laughed.. he then saw her give him half a roll.. he just looked at her.. when she told him to amends with them.. he nodded and watched as she broke up her roll into smaller pieces and called out to the ducks to come get some bread.. he also went a little nearer and started to throw out some pieces to some of the ducks as Ella explained why she had been looking for him "Oh! ok! thats good!" he smiled.. phew! he could relax now.. so there was another reason that she was looking for him "Ohh thanks! I guess I did.. but it was mostly others.. but thanks!" maybe he did play good.. he did manage to get a few passes here and there "Its you next! I will definitely be watching! " he smiled "Wearing yellow!" he chuckled.. as he imagined him wearing puff colors.. which he was allowed as a Ravenpuff.. he he |
SPOILER!!: Ze Ravenclaw Ella watched out of the corner of her eye as Harvey followed suit and started to feed the ducks. Good, now the second year wouldn't have to worry about him getting pecked to death or anything! That was good. She laughed softly at how relieved he seemed that he wasn't in trouble. "Gosh, Harvs...am I that scary?" The blonde asked playfully, eyebrows raised. "Why is it you always think you're in trouble with somebody anyway? From what I've seen, you're the least likely person for somebody to be mad at." And that was the honest truth. She smiled at him when he thanked her and she shrugged. "No biggy, just being honest." He was quite a good flyer so he deserved the praise. What he said next made her turn to face him. "You'll be there? You mean it?" Cause she was SO nervous and having a friend in the stands would help put her at ease...at least a little bit. "You'd look nice in yellow, Harvey." She added thoughtfully, turning her attention back to the ducks. |
Text Cut: The Nice Puff Girl Ella :P He continued feeding the ducks as Ella asked him a question "No.. no you arent! Why? well people have been mad at me in the past.. so I am not the least likely person.. people do get mad at me! which I dont like especially they are friends of mine. But overall I just like to make sure.. cause if someone is.. then I try to make amends.. like I am doing with these ducks!" he chuckled .. and smiled as she said that she was being honest.. he continued throwing out little pieces when she was surprised at what he had said.. "Yeah! yeah I DO mean it! my favourite puffs are playing and I am not there? now that is not right! I wouldnt be a Ravenpuff if I didnt come.. so you will find me out there in the stands cheering you on!" he had a big smile on his face he then chuckled as she liked his Harvey-in-yellow idea! "I would? well then all the more reason to wear yellow on that day.. a Ravenclaw in yellow.. perfect combo for a Ravenpuff.. what do you say eh duckies?" he asked them jokingly.. oh yeah he was going to be there cheering on Ella... and Minnie.. he would cheer them both on. |
SPOILER!!: She is nice isn't she?! :D Ella watched the ducks fighting for the bread and laughed. They were so cute...and hungry! Why were they so hungry anyway? Did people not feed them or something. Frown. Poor duckies. "I don't like when friends are mad at me either, I don't blame you for checking." Ella probably would have done the same thing had she thought he might be mad at her. That would be the worst. The second year laughed some more when Harvey completed his point by bringing it back to the ducks. "Well they sure seem happy so I think you're doing a good job." Heh. She smiled at the mention of her title for him. "You're right, a true Ravenpuff has to be there for his puff friends." It was like-in the rule book or something! She turned her attention back to the ducks when Harvey asked for their opinion on the situation. They were apparently too busy at the moment fighting for food to comment. She smiled at them, giggling as the littlest duck snuck into the center of the crowd and made out with a huge chunk of roll without being stopped. Good for you, little guy. Turning to Harvey again, she looked at him curiously. "So Harvey, what's new with you? Tell me all about your life." Cause Ella wanted to be caught up since they last met up in Hogsmeade. |
Text Cut: Oh! She is VERY nice! Just like Harvs! :P He smiled and nodded when she said that she didnt blame him for checking.. well at least he made someone laugh today.. that was a plus point. "Yeah! he does! so I will be there at every game that you play! " he smiled.. yup he would be.. there was no way he was missing a game that his friends were playing in.. he then looked at the ducks as she did "See when food is in the equation.. they dont wanna talk to you no more." he chuckled.. "Yup see look at that little guy.. showing all of them he aint so little.. its good to fight for yourself! well done little guy!" he said to that little duck as he smiled and watched that little duck eat that big chunk of bread.. he then looked at Ella to see that she was looking at him.. "New with me? to be honest.. nothing is new with me.. except the match.. and now hanging with you. Otherwise I have just been working and just been around.. doing nothing much! you could say I am pretty boring when I am on my own" he smiled as he looked back at the ducks "They are probably more entertaining than me! look at em go.. attacking all that bread!" he chuckled as he watched them fight over the last few pieces of bread that were left floating in the water. |
SPOILER!!: Harvs "Good." The second year said in response to his promise to be there for her matches. It made her feel better, especially since her nerves had been on overdrive since the start of practice earlier in the day. She just didn't want to make a complete fool of herself. She really hoped she wouldn't. She nodded as Harvey began talking about the ducks again, her attention on the same subject. The blonde couldn't help but notice that people were sometimes like that too, focused so much on food that all communication ceased. That was what Thanksgiving was like at the Bishop household. Once plates were full, talking stopped. The thought of thanksgiving brought a frown to Ella's face and she turned away for a moment, trying to shake off the heavy feeling that was now in the bottom of her stomach. Turning around again, she was happy to hear Harvey had noticed the little duck too. "It is good to stick up for yourself. It's also good to stick up for friends." The second year was just stating facts really as she watched the ducks some more. "I'd like to think I'd be able to do what that little duck did." Standing up to the bigger ducks and all...only when Ella was the little duck in her elementary school she hid from the bigger ducks, to afraid to fight. She couldn't help but regret it a little. Attention back on Harvey, she was surprised that nothing was new with him. Surely him and Ameliah had done something fun lately, yeah? Or he had gone around the castle exploring? It just wasn't okay that he thought himself boring. "You're not boring, Harvey. Or at least I don't think you are." Shrug. She joined in his laughter at his next comment about the ducks. "But you're right, they are pretty interesting." |
Text Cut: Surprised Ella. Lol! Harvey nodded "Yeah it is good to stand up for them too! I agree" he smiled as he looked at the ducks.. if only he could do what that little duck did.. standing up for what was right! he chuckled.. "Yeah me too! thats what I was just thinking!" he smiled. "I would like to even though I dont" yeah.. he needed to stand up for things that he believed in and what he believed to be right! He saw her look at him surprised "Whats the surprised look for?" he asked her curiously.. he generally had nothing new for him.. the only time something was new was when something exciting happened.. which was not very often .. it was his turn to look surprised "I am not? Ok I think you are the third person to tell me that.. so I guess I had better start believing it?" he chuckled a little.. how was he not boring.. he sat on his own on a daily basis.. doing nothing but watching ducks, trees, people, topiaries etc. He smiled as he looked at the ducks "Yeah they are! you can spend hours here watching them swimming around the pond" he chuckled as he watched the ducks swimming around.. it was quite fun to watch them.. dipping their heads under the water to clean themselves.. playing around in the water and stuff. |
SPOILER!!: boring boy :p Ella smiled as Harvey agreed with her about standing up for yourself. Ella was getting better at doing that, especially when it came to friends. Sometimes that was the hardest part, saying something a friend might not want to hear. "Maybe I am a mind reader." She said playfully, finding it funny that Harvey had just been thinking the same thing. As for Harvey not sticking up for himself. "You should work on that, Harvs. I'm trying to too." Hm. What was her surprised look for? "Um, I guess I just thought you would have been off doing things with Ameliah...or hanging out with Minnie and Justin." So yeah, she was surprised that he hadn't done much of anything lately. The second year smiled and nodded when he suggested he start believing he wasn't boring. "That's a good idea. Confidence is key, Harvs." Or so she'd been told. Ella wasn't the best at following her own advice. Yet another thing she'd be working on. |
Text Cut: Oh yeah he is very boring no excitement in his life at all! But she isnt, she is fun to be around! :P Harvey just looked at her "Well I think its time I be careful on what I am thinking about when I am with you! " he smiled.. and nodded when she said that he should "Yeah I know and I am gonna.. but its hard to do sometimes.. especially if its a friend on the other end." he said looking at the ducks.. he remembered when it was Rose arguing against him.. and another time it was Minnie or even Ronnie.. why was it he was always against friends of his.. he thought.. he wondered if he would ever manage to stand up for himself He listened as she told him what the surprised look was for.. he then shook his head "Nope.. I havent seen Ameliah in about 2 or 3weeks or so.. and I havent properly hung out with Mins and Justin in about 1month or just over that.. its at that point that you start to miss hanging out with them.. but its ok.. I have you" he smiled a little.. yeah he still had Ella.. even if there was no-one else with him at the moment.. maybe that was why he hadnt been so cheerful recently.. maybe he was missing his old group.. Minnie and Justin.. well hopefully he would be able to hang out with them over the summer break if not for the remainder of this year.. but it was quite hurtful to not be able to hang out with them.. but that was life.. sometimes you could hang out.. sometimes you couldnt.. so no use crying over it. He then smiled a little "Yeah I guess it is.. and I will try that.. you say the right things at the right time" he said and then realised he had said what Mins had told him long ago.. that he knew just what to say to her.. man that seemed so long ago.. apparently he didnt say the right things. |
SPOILER!!: Mr. Nice Guy Ella giggled as Harvey said he'd have to watch his thoughts around her. She looked at him curiously, wondering what he might be thinking that she wouldn't like. "Oh come on, what could you possibly have to hide?" Not that she could actually read his thoughts, she was just curious. Per usual. She totally understood the friend bit and had actually just been thinking the same thing herself. Heh. Now who was the mind reader? "Yeah, you're right. It isn't easy." But they had loads of time to figure that kind of stuff out. The second year frowned when Harvey said he hadn't seen his girlfriend in weeks and hadn't hung out with Justin and Minnie in months. Huh? That wasn't right. "I'm sorry Harvey, that can't be easy." She wished there was something more she could say to make him feel better but nothing was coming to mind at the moment. "I'm sure they're just busy with classes and such..." That had to be the reason they weren't hanging out with him, right? As for him still having Ella, she nodded and returned the smile. "Yup, you still have me. How lucky are you?" She laughed and then rolled her eyes, knowing she was no prize to be around. Ella continued to watch him curiously as he seemed to get lost in thought, probably about his friends and such. She wondered if he was really okay or if he was just pretending for her sake. She hoped it was the first option. She shook her head when he said she said the right things at the right times. O_O She had said the same exact thing to Logan last term. He was always good at cheering people up and she had seriously admired that. Maybe a little that had rubbed off on her? |
Text Cut: Miss Nice n Caring Girl Harvey chuckled "Oh I could be hiding things and you would never know" he chuckled "Nah I am not hiding anything... yet" he chuckled again.. who knows what he may or may not have to hide from her in the future.. maybe to avoid her getting hurt or something.. cause if that were the case then he would most definitely feel the need to hide something from.. but he hoped that day would not come. "Yeah it isnt" he smiled as he thought about it for a bit before she broke his thoughts saying that she was sorry.. he looked at her and nodded before lying back onto the grass.. and looked up at the cloudy sky "Yeah it is never easy when that happens.. whether it was in the past or in the future.. just got to get past that and understand there maybe reasons for not being able to hang out.. yeah like that.. classes.. keeping us apart.. but yeah.. not easy " he smiled a little.. but no matter how many times he told himself that.. he couldnt bring himself to believe it.. cause it seemed they had time to hang out with their girlfriend and boyfriend.. ok fine they had the right to hang out with them more.. well he was close to not caring whether they hung out with him or not.. cause all that caring was bringing nothing but pain to him. He then smiled as she laughed.. he looked at her "Oh I am very lucky to have you! very lucky!" he chuckled as he continued to look at her "I am very lucky that you became friends with me and have continued to hang out with me" he smiled.. yeah he was really lucky.. without her he would have probably stayed in his dorm room and not come out.. cause there would be no reason to come out of there.. everyone was busy with their own lives.. he then saw her shake her head.. and he went against her and nodded.. yeah she had always cheered him up with the right things that she said. |
Off to bedddd! SPOILER!!: Lucky duck Ella looked at Harvey and laughed when he said he could be hiding things from her and she wouldn't know. That was true so why did it seem so funny at the moment? Maybe because of the way he had said it. And the Ravenclaw joker continued to make the second year laugh with his next comment. "Yet?" She repeated with a wide smile, eyebrows raised. Ella couldn't help but wonder what sort of things people had kept from her in the past or what they would keep from her in the future. Hopefully most of them had good intentions while doing so. When Harvey lay down in the grass, Ella frowned, hoping she hadn't made him upset. She settled down next to him and focused on the clouds floating by, wondering what he was feeling at the moment. Even as he continued to talk and give excuses about why people weren't free, she could sense that it still hurt him. Heck, it would have hurt her feelings too. Not knowing what to say, she reached over and grabbed his hand, giving it a squeeze before letting go of it again. She then folded her hands gently on her stomach. The second year couldn't help but blush when Harvey said he was very very lucky to have her around. That seemed silly. She was just Ella, nothing special. After a moment she glanced at him, a shy smile on her face, her cheeks still slightly pink. "Thanks Harvey..." Was that right, was she supposed to thank him for saying something like that? She wasn't sure. "I'm lucky that you're my friend too." |
No worries see you tomorrow :) Text Cut: Blushing Ella = Cute! XD Harvey nodded as she repeated with a big smile on her face "Yet!" he chuckled.. "Nah the only time I would hide anything from you is if I was sure that it was better that it stay hidden" he smiled.. yeah he didnt want her getting hurt by some things so it may be better it stayed hidden. He looked over to see that Ella had lay down next to him as he continued to talk.. he looked at the clouds when he suddenly felt a hand grab his.. he looked to see that it was Ella's hand :whaa: she gave his hand a gentle squeeze before letting go of it and folding her hands onto her stomach.. did that just happen?.. did she just hold his hand before squeezing it.. or was he imagining it.. she couldnt have done that .. could she? he looked at her.. well ok maybe she had done that.. held his hand for a little bit.. kind of letting him know that she was there for him.. but it was still strange seeing as she hadnt done that before.. well it looked like their friendship was growing.. first hugs and now the hand.. well at least that was a good side.. he smiled at this new gesture of hers.. they were getting closer... and soon they would be best friends.. so she would be another puff that he could add to his best friends list. He continued to smile as he saw her red face.. and then looked over at him with pink cheeks.. "No need to thank me" he smiled "I guess its good that you are lucky" he chuckled maybe they were lucky to have friended each other.. that worked too! "But wait you came and found me by the Topiaries.. so wouldnt that make me lucky?" he asked curiously.. yeah cause if she hadnt come that day .. then they would be here side by side. |

"Here you go, ducks,'' he said as he threw more bread into the pond. Just as he was talking he noticed a girl about his age taking a seat not far from him. "Hello,'' the Puff said. ''I hope you don't think I'm mad for talking to the ducks.'' |

He looked down at the ducks again and said "I actually didn't know what they eat, so i thought i might give cookies a try" he said and laughed "And it turns out that they eat cookies too" he said smiling and then looked at the boy holding the bread "But i think you know exactly what they eat." He said impressed. How come Zack never thought of bring bread for the ducks? Anyways he knew that now so next time he might bring them. |

SPOILER!!: :D Ella smiled and nodded. That made sense. The second year was sure she'd probably keep information that might hurt a friend to herself as well. Though she hadn't come across a situation like that, not yet anyway. She honestly hoped she didn't any time soon. Harvey's reaction to her squeezing his hand didn't go unnoticed. She could more sense his surprise than see it but it made her second guess what she had done. Merlin's beard, would it be all weird between them now? She hadn't meant to make him uncomfortable or anything! She was just-being a friend, yeah? She could feel that he was looking at her and she turned to meet his gaze, an apologetic look on her face. "Sorry. Was that weird?" Were friends allowed to hold hands? They were, weren't they? She waited awkwardly for his answer, drumming her fingers on her stomach nervously. The blonde started to laugh when Harvey began sorting out who the lucky one was. It was a bit ridiculous, the conversation they were having, but nice nonetheless. "Alright, I give. You're lucky I found you at the topiary garden..." Heh. She smiled and looked up at the sky again, spotting a cloud that looked a lot like the baby dragon. D'awww! "You see that, Harvs?" She asked excitedly. |
Text Cut: Baby Dragon Cloud? Ella seeing things? XD Harvey smiled as she nodded glad that she understood cause that was the last thing that he wanted.. any of his friends being hurt. He couldnt believe she had held his hand.. it had been a big surprise to him.. he hadnt expected her to do that.. he then looked at as she asked him a question.. he smiled and shook his head "No... no it wasnt weird.. just took me by surprise thats all.. I guess I never expected the hand-holding to happen yet" he smiled as he saw her drum her fingers on her stomach.. she seemed nervous.. he had made her nervous? he didnt mean to.. he then clasped her hand gently and gave it a gentle squeeze "See! not weird at all! Now I know that we will be holding hands as friends.. it wont be as much of a suprise now" he smiled as he laid her hand back onto her stomach gently. Yeah it was not weird at all now.. he knew that hand-holding was going to happen so he was good with it. Harvey chuckled as she began to laugh.. "Yeah I am.. cant imagine what I would be doing right now if I wasnt here with you" he smiled as he thought about it.. he would probably be sitting out here alone with no-one.. but cause they had met and were friends he was hanging out with her now.. yup lucky him.. he then looked up at the cloud that she was looking at excitedly.. and sure enough he saw why she was excited "Yup I see it Ella.. dont you wish you could just touch that cloud right now? or any other cloud ." he hoped it would be like candy floss yum! he liked candy floss.. he continued to look at the cloud.. he still couldnt believe they had been lucky enough to see the birth of a baby dragon and been a part of naming the little guy! |
SPOILER!!: Seeing baby dragons, duh! Ella was relieved Harvey wasn't too weirded out by the whole hand holding situation. She raised her eyebrows at the word yet. Did that mean he had expected them to be holding hands at some point, then? Curious. She wanted to ask him about it but didn't, deciding the situation was already a bit awkward as it was. It was her turn to be surprised when suddenly her hand was lifted from her stomach, and squeezed. She looked at him and cracked a smile as he proved his point. "Good." She said simply as he let her hand rest gently again on her stomach. That was a relief. Now they could just move on from that little hiccup, yeah? Ella tried to imagine what she would be doing today had she not come down to the duck pond. Hmm...she'd probably be in the library or in the garden getting started on her first Herbology task force mission. It was nice to just be relaxing though, especially while the weather wasn't too cold. She could deal with the chill in the air as it was still a beautiful day. She wasn't sure how many of those they would be getting as the winter weather would be creeping in soon enough. The second year smiled when Harvey said he saw the cloud she was referring to. At his question, she laughed. "Yeah, that would be wicked. I suppose we could come pretty close if we had our brooms with us, yeah?" That would be fun. Cloud catching. She made a note to try it sometime in the future. "I like to think my granddad hangs out up on a cloud somewhere and watches out for me. I could picture him picking one that looked like a horse or something. He loved the horses." Well more like betting on the horses...but still. Shrug. |
Text Cut: Maybe we should get her one of her own Lol! Harvey looked at her as she raised her eyebrows.. why did he think that she was questioning it.. ok now it felt like he could read her mind and stuff.. he smiled "Ok I know what you are thinking.. I will be honest.. yes I was.. but not until we were like best friends or closer than we are now" he smiled.. okay! so he was making this more awkward "Sorry I.. forget I said anything.. lets move on on from that!" he smiled a little.. wincing a little at how what he said must have sounded.. he looked at the clouds again.. yeah he probably made it all awkward as far as their friendship was concerned. He then saw that she was thinking and he looked up at the clouds until she came out of her thoughts. He chuckled "Yeah! flying up there and touching those clouds.. I agree that WOULD be wicked.. oh we have to do that sometime!" he said a little eagerly.. yeah he was up for touching those clouds.. or it could be touching the sky type of thing.. he then listened as she talked about her grandad he smiled "Yeah I am sure he does watch out for you.. riding all those horse-clouds to keep an eye on you" he smiled as he suggested it.. yeah thats how he imagined family members watching over them.. riding those clouds the way they would have loved to.. in cars, horses, planes etc. |
SPOILER!!: If only! Ella hadn't expected Harvey to admit to anything and was a bit surprised at the words coming out of his mouth. Huh? So he had thought they would be holding hands in the future. What was she supposed to say to that? She was confused and a bit embarrassed by the whole conversation. She smiled a little when he apologized. "N-no...I appreciate the honesty." Though yeah, it had made things a bit awkward for the moment. "Moving on sounds good." She added with another smile, a bit wider this time. They could deal with all the awkward stuff later...like much later if Ella had anything to do with it. She would much rather deal with fun things...like watching the clouds! The second year turned to Harvey when he suggested they try and touch the clouds sometime. "Yeah, that would be fun! Maybe next time the practice pitch is free. I love to fly." It was pretty much the best thing ever, right? I mean who didn't love whipping through the air like a bird? It was wicked! As Harvey agreed that maybe her granddad was watching her, she smiled sadly and closed her eyes for a moment, thinking of him. After a minute or two, she turned to her friend again. "Hey Harvey, have you ever lost anyone?" She was just curious, not sure if that was too personal a subject or not. |
Text Cut: Ella Harvey smiled a little as she said that she had appreciated the honesty.. he nodded.. "Yeah it does.. dont need all that right now." he said relaxing a bit.. why did he have to go and say that.. he could have kept that hidden for later.. not now! well at least they were still good.. right? well he hoped so.. he smiled when she agreed that they should try and touch the clouds one day "Yeah next time its free.. we are up there in the sky.. touching all those fluffy clouds" he smiled as he said this.. yeah that would be one of the fun things he did this year.. he had never done anything fun in the last two years.. now it was the time to start having fun at school.. before he reached his final year and had to leave. He saw her close her eyes for a moment.. that made his smile disappear.. knowing that she was thinking of her grandad.. He continued to look at her for a moment before turning his attention back to the clouds.. they were so touchable he wished he could go up there now and touch them.. he then looked at her as she asked him a question he didnt think would be asked.. he nodded and waited a moment before answering.. "Yeah I have.. I have lost all my grandparents.. I dont remember three of them I was too young.. but the fourth? I will never forget him.. my paternal grandfather.. grandpa Jimbo.. I called him.. Jim to others" he smiled a little.. that had hit him hard, the day he lost his grandpa Jimbo "Its been a few years.. 5 to be exact" he smiled.. he was the reason Harvey had gone to that.. doctor ... and became the guy who everyone here knew and loved.. only Minnie knew what he used to be like.. but only cause she asked.. he only told others if it was necessary. |
SPOILER!!: Harvs Ella hoped Harvey wasn't mad that she'd asked about loved ones he had lost. She just was curious, especially since her own loss had been so great. Were all kids so lucky as she had been to have a great relationship with a grandparent? She listened as he began to speak about his own experience and frowned when she learned she had lost all of his grandparents. "I'm sorry Harvey, that must have been tough." Especially his grandpa. "I was quite close to my granddad too. He used to take me to museums and stuff, a really awesome person..." And then he had died suddenly and without warning and she had been crushed. "So you and your grandpa were really close then?" She asked next, getting the vibe that they were. |
